Dragon love chapter 2
I get three hours of sleep every other night and I get up like its nothing. Its good being mostly nocturnal.
Warning: Use use of any of my characters for anything will result in harsh punishment. I'm a hacker and I will hack your pc if you do.
Averin went up to his room. His bed was a mess from earlier and Zerein left her bra. Heput it in his dirty clothes hamper along with all of the other clothes on the floor. He dragged the hamper down to the basement and puthe clothes in the washer and turned it on. The automatic detergent injector squirted the fluids in and proceeded with the wash cycle. I returned to my room and booted up my computer. after a minute I entered the password to the only account on it and opened the web browser. I searched through my e-mails and there was nothing about the highschool he was supposed to attend.
"*sigh* I guess that I might be getting it tomorrow.", I told myself.
I reached to the side of the computer and pulled out a letter. It was still in its envelope. I took the letter of aproval out and went over it again. The e-mail was supposed to come today. I wonder if-
You've got mail sir., I clicked on Jeevs and it brought up an e-mailfrom the supervisor. It finally came. I opened it and it said to print the contents onto white blank printing paper with a color printer. Luckily I bought one for my computer a few days ago. I checked the color levels. This cartridge was labeled by the chemical formula of the pigment being used. The Cr2O3 Levels were low. Seems that dad is looking up how to draw with green again. Note to self, when in a family of artists never let anyone us your materials. Luckily it didn't ned green for this so Ipopped it in the printer and printed the registration form. Finally. I am going to Half-dragon Arts High.

Four days later...
Averin stepped out of his car and into the drive way. He watched as Zerein got out of her dads corvette.
"Hi Zerein. So ho was your-", she cut me off.
Zerein broke into tears and burried her head in my chest. I patted her head and thought,"Oh boy. What happened this time?" When she stopped crying she looked at me.
"Whats wrong Zerein?", I asked, concerned.
"The second I walked in the door my dad scolded me for doing this. He beat me.", she replied with a sob.
"What? You getting your genetics changed?", I asked.
She nodded and I gave her a hug. Her dad passed by us and stopped. He stuck his head out the window.
"I knew it! Whore!", he yelled back.
Zerein started crying againand I tried to comfort her the best I could. five minutes later she calmed down.
"Your mom isn't home yet. Why don't you come stay at my house for a while?", I petted her on the head.
"Yes.", she whispered.
We both got in the car and drove back to my house. I turned on the TV and gave her the remote.
I went up stairs and opened up the browser on my computer and on the front page of news report it said:
Husband kills his own wife.
Forty one year old john Rashtoq murders thirty nine year old Feliecia Mikreas for changing their daught,seventeen year old Zerein Mikreas', genetic make up to that of a Half-dragon's...
Averin jumped up and ran down to stop Zerein from finding the channel but he was to late. Zerein was sobbing on the couch. I turned the TV off and sit next to Zerein. I put my arm around her and pull her close.
"It's going to be ok."
"No! It's not! My mom is dead by my dads hands!"
"Now your dad is in jail and your mom dead. But atleast you still have me."
She looked at me and hugged me. I embraced her and her sobs slowly stopped. Averin's mom walked in the door.
"Hey Averin did you hear-", she stopped.
She looked at Zerein who I had just gotten to calm down. I knew what she was going to say though.
"Nevermind.", she said before going into her room. A thought creapt into my mind. Zerein is seventeen. She will have to go into a foster home. But there isn't one for miles around this town.
"Zerein.", I said.
"Yes?", She replied.
"Do You want to stay With me?", I asked.
"Definitely.", She Replied.
Then you have to tell that to the police when they- *knoc knock knock* Just on time. Mom opens the door and a police officer c omes into the house.
"Yes sir. What can I do for you?", Mom said.
The police officer tilted his hat towards mom," I'm looking for Zerein Mikreas."
"She's here.", replied mom.
"Is she staying here with you?", asked the officer.
"Why, yes she is.", mom said back.
"As long as she can stay with a relative or friend. ood-bye.", the officer walks out.
Zerein rested her head on my shoulder. It's going to be a long summer...

A the end of summer...
I woke up with Zerein next to me. She was starting to heal from the incident at the beginning of summer. I slowly got up trying not to wake her.
"I'm already awake.", she startled me.
"I was just trying to let you sleep if you were asleep.", I replied.
She got up and stretched. I pulled the covers off of me and did the same except to be hugged a second later.
"Today is registration.", I said.
"I know.", Zerein said.
she parted from me and we both got dressed. mom came in holding some clothes and stopped. She turned around and left, closing the door behind her. I wonder why she has Zerein sleeping in the same bed as me. I love Zerein but I think mom just can't wait to get me out of the house. She has always been nice to me ever since I turned seventeen. And being how my birthday is five days after Zerein's Mom got the idea that we could get married when I changed eighteen in a few months. The change of how she treated me changed from being a strict mother to a loving mother with no care in the world if I left. Dad was the opposite. He wanted me to stay so that he could spend time with his son more often. I went down stairs and Zerein followed close behind. When we got there mom and dad were arguing about giving me something. Usually I go with dad but the item that mom wanted to give me was a deep blue dragon scale. I thought about getting one because they aloud half-dragons like myself shapeshift into a dragon when we desired.
"Hello Averin. Me and your father have been talking and I wanted to give you a dragon scale to help you get through your first three years of highschool.", She said handing me a black lace necklace with a dragon scalehanging from a metal ring on it.
"Thanks mom. It will be a great help.", I said accepting it.
Mom turned to da,"See? I told you!"
Dad just got up and left the room, I grabbed the keys off the hook on the wall. I went to my car and got in along with Zerein. The familiar heat of the carwas like an angels touch to our skin and scales. We half-dragon can tolerate usually any heat but once it gets over fourhundred degrees then we start to sweat and it becomes uncomfortable. I pulled out of the driveway and drove to the high school. Twenty three minutes later I pulled into the parking lot of Half-dragon Arts High. A man stopped us at the beginning of the drive way.
"Do you have the registration forms sir?", the man asked.
"Why yes I I do.", I said giving him the papers.
"Mr. Ponkoro. Good choise for a supervisor.", he said handing them back.
Luckily we were early because there was only one person in front of us. The car moved down the drive way and onto the street then zoomed away. I pulled up to the desk at the end of the drive way and I handed them my papers. The woman there stamped them and put them in the stack of papers next to her.
"We will see you two in three days. She is registering with you right?", the woman said.
"I registered at the beginning of summer online." ,Zerein replied.
"You can do that?", I asked.
"Yes.", Zerein answered.
"Well have a nice day.", the lady said.
I nodded my head and smiled," You two ma'am."
I drove down the drive way and back onto the street. I looked at the fuel gauge and I had a half a tank left.
"Hey, Zerein. You want to go by your house one last time?", I asked.
"No.", she replied.
I continued to my house. Twenty minutes later I pulled into the drive way and mom's car was gone. She must have gone to the store. I looked at Zerein and thought.
"Hey Zerein.", I asked.
"Yeah?", she answered.
"A thoguht crossed my mind just now. What if you are pregnant?", I said.
Zerein looked up at me,"Should we check?
Ilooked at her,"If you want to."
"...Not right now It's not like I'm acting any different except for being depressed all of the time.", she answered.
"As long as you have me you have a family.", I smiled.
We bothe got out of the car and went inside. Dad greeted me with a solid, "Hello son."
" Hey dad.", I said back.

Three days had now passed and I was standing at the doors to the school. Zerein came up to me and layed her head on my shoulder. I hugged her.
"You ready?", I asked her.
"Yes.", she replied.
We both walked in and immediately three girls tackled me.
"He's so cute!"
"I get first crack at him!"
"No he is mine!"
"Get off my boyfreind!!!", Zerein yelled.
The squealing and grabbing seased and I crawled out from under the three girls. My hair, which took me a full hour to fix, was now a mess and my shirt was ripped.
"He's your what?!", Asked one of them.
"You heard me! He's taken!", Zerein yelled.
I've never seen Zerein act this way before and I backed up.
"You ok Zerein?", I asked.
"Don't worry. This usually happens to cute boys such as yourself.", She replied with a grin, "Your just lucky that me and you are together. They would not have left you alone for anything."
"Next time this happens and your not around, what do I say then?", I argued.
"Just don't worry about it.", she said.
I Don't know what I'd do if Zerein didn't fix the same problem eighteen more times. But atleast I am now known as Zerein's boyfriend. At the end of the day when we both got to the car we sighed in unison. My hair was now a mess and getting it back will be a long painful process. I started the car, pulling out before anyone else. Once we made it to the stop sign the same three girls that attacked me first noticed Zerein in the car.
"You bring her home?"
"Why doesn't she have her own car?"
"Where does she live?"
"*sigh* Look. Stop badgering me, ok? Zerein lives with me because of what happened to her parents. That is all you need to know.", I answered to all three of them.
I put pressure on the gas pedal and zoomed down the street. When we got home there was a black car in the drive way. I didn't recognize the car at all and pulled up next to it.
"Who's car is that?", Zerein asked.
"We're about to find out.", I said unbuckling.
We stepped out of the car and an arrow passed right by my head. I froze in place and saw another fly at me. Through reflex I grabbed the arrow before it pirced my chest.
"Very good.", an elven woman walked out of the garage.
"What do you want, Instinct?", I asked.
"Well I just thought that I'd pay a visit to the new kid at school.", She said.
"Well we've known eachother for three.", I replied.
"Jeeze. Don't get hostile. You know what happens if you do.", She said with a smile.
I remember what she usede to do to me when I started a fight with someone. She would tackle me and pin me to the ground. The thought of being owned by a girl just made me shiver.
"Well lets see if you can do it again. I've learned a few tricks since the last time we met.", I said.
"Well then how about you get your battle on and show me?", she teased.
"Let me get my stuff first and we can have a match in the yard.", I retaliated.
"I don't think so. This is a match on hand-to-hand.", She said.
I turned around and went to the trunk of my car. But before I could touch the unlock button Instinct tackled me and pinned me to the ground. Realizing that I just got owned AGAIN, I tried to wrench myself free. With no chance of getting out I stared at Instinct with an angry look.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time.", she said.
"Instinct. Get off of me or-", she kissed me.
For an entire minute Zerein stood there surprised by what just happened. When she finally snapped out of it the anger took over and I swear that she had fire burning around her.
"Get the hell off my boyfriend!!!!", She said as she tackled Instinct.
The both landed a few feet away from me in the grass and Zerein had Instinct pinned down the same way that Instinct had me pinned.
"Boyfriend? That just makes it all the better.", she said with a smile.
I went up to Instinct and transformed my hand into that of a dragon's.
I bent down on the side of Zerein, "If I'm not happy, she's not happy. I've picked up a few tricks of my own since we last met."
I touched my hand to her chest and let loose a few hundred volts of electricity. Instinct passed out and I stopped.
"That was a little much.", Zerein said, getting off of Instinct..
Instinct sat up taking a big gasp.
"How the hell did you do that?!", She exclaimed.
"I'm a half-dragon. We can do that if we choose the bronze dragon course.", I said in return.
Note: A bronze dragon doesn't breathe fire it shoots lightning from its mouth instead.
"Now just go home.", I commanded.
"*sigh* Fine.", Instinct got up.
She got in the black car and drove off. I went inside and into my room.
"You enjoyed that didn't you?", Zerein asked.
"Well yeah. She has been doing that to me for three years.", I answered.
I took out an old fracture blade that dad bought me two years ago. I clicked the handle and split the blade in half. It still worked perfectly. I brought the two halves together and clicked the handle again closing them together. I have never been able to use this for anything and I'm soon going to be using it every day in my sword arts class. I brought out my scythe and layed it down on the bed along with the fracture blade. It will come in handy for my magical arts class and then I took out my greatbow. Th final class that I entered was advanced targeting archery. I was given my first assignment. I had to split three arrows in half at the course tomorrow. Except the only draw back is that I can't even split one so I will have to ask Instinct for help. The thought that I did not want to think about was now my only option to enter this class. If I don't then I will have to take an intermediate course. I remembered Zerein and turned around. The entire time that I had been thinking she had been sitting on the bed watching me. She was blushing when I got up.
"Hey Averin. What do you want to do for the rest of the day?", She asked.
"I don't know. What do you want to do?", I replied.
"Well I was thinking that you need an award for Finally beating Instinct.", she said walking up to me.
Zerein kissed me and I embraced her. We kissed for a full minute and then We layed down on the floor.
