Tom was dimly aware of the bright light of the morning sun and the faint morning chirping of songbirds. His eyes cracked open, and he turned to glance at the clock. It was 7:54, two hours later than the white wolf usually slept. He sat up, and immediately was hit with the feeling of a sore tail hole.

All of a sudden, the events of last night came back to him. Tom then looked over to his right, the space occupied by Wolgram last night empty. The white wolf groaned and got out of bed, trying to make sure his legs weren't too wobbly from last night's fun. The lupine reserved himself to shuffling, a safe movement for how sore he was. Tom walked out of the bedroom, and shuffled down the hall, not bothering to throw on his morning robe.

He came to the entrance of the kitchen and heard the sound of somebody bustling around in there. He rubbed his eyes, and shuffled in, yawning loudly. The source of the noise was Wolgram, who was making a pot of coffee, presumably for the two of them. The black wolf, who was also naked, turned around with a smile on his face.

"Good morning love," He began cheerfully.

"Morning," Tom grumbled.

Wolgram walked over to the white wolf and hugged him. He then turned to pull out a chair for the smaller lupine. Tom mumbled his thanks and took the offered chair, his head soon slumping over onto the counter.

"Not much of a morning person," Wolgram began, pouring water into the coffee machine, "Are you?"

"Not until I've had my coffee," Tom replied, still slumped over.

"Well then," Wolgram said, "How do you like it?"

Tom sat up from his slump, a grin on his face.

"The same way I like my wolves, hot and black."

Wolgram snorted and started to laugh, the black liquid starting to fill the glass pot of the coffeemaker. Soon enough, the pot was full and the bigger lupine poured out two cups. Tom smiled as Wolgram placed the steaming cup in front of him.

"Thanks babe," Tom began, as Wolgram sat down across from him.

"Don't mention it," Wolgram replied, "So, how do you feel?"

"Sore," Tom replied, to Wolgram's hearty laughter.

"Sorry for that then hon," Wolgram said.

"Don't be," Tom began, taking a sip of his coffee, "It's a good feeling."

"You have a very nice house," Wolgram began, looking around, "I must admit I didn't notice with all of the excitement last night."

"Well thank you," Tom replied, "One of the many perks of having a decently high paying job."

"Really?" Wolgram replied, "What do you do?"

"I work head accountant at one of the big offices in town," Tom said, "It pays good, even though I hate working there."

"Oh, well I'm sorry," Wolgram began, taking a sip of his coffee, "So what do you want to do today?"

"I have work," Tom replied, and at seeing Wolgram's drooping face he quickly added on, "Sorry."

"When do you get done?" Wolgram asked.

"Six," Tom replied, "Speaking of work, I have to be there at ten, so I should be getting ready."

The white wolf downed his coffee and stood up, shuffling towards the bathroom down the hall. Wolgram downed his coffee as well and stood up.

"Wait," He began, "Want to do something after work?"

"Like what?" Tom asked.

"I don't know," Wolgram replied, "Hang out or something."

"Sure," Tom began, "Your place?"

Wolgram stood for a moment, his paws twiddling. Tom picked up on the subtle movement and was about to ask what was wrong, when Wolgram answered.

"I don't have a house," The black wolf replied, hanging his head, "It got destroyed, natural gas explosion."

"Oh babe that's terrible," Tom began, shuffling over to give the black wolf a hug, "Where have you been staying?"

"Well," Wolgram replied, "I've been crashing at a friend's, but he wants me out ASAP."

"Then why don't you stay here?" Tom asked.

Wolgram stood still, a tear rolling down his cheek. The big black wolf grasped the smaller white lupine in a passionate embrace. Tom stood, at first taken aback by the sudden hug, before wrapping his arms around Wolgram in return.

"You'd do that for me?" Wolgram asked.

"Of course," Tom replied, kissing Wolgram's cheek, "I love you, and even though we just met, I want to do this for you."

Wolgram stood, floored by Tom's statement. He began to slowly rock his heels back and forth, nuzzling into the smaller white wolf. Tom just smiled, and kissed the big black wolf's cheek again.

"Hon," Tom began.

Wolgram's reply was muffled, for his face was pressed against the white wolf's neck in mid-nuzzle.

"I need to take my shower and start getting ready for work," Tom continued.

Wolgram whined and stood back, letting Tom shuffle away. The white wolf looked back with a smile, which Wolgram returned. Wolgram stood for a moment, and followed after the other wolf, an idea floating about his head. The wolf waited outside of the bathroom, until the hissing of the shower went off.

Wolgram chuckled and walked into the bathroom, gingerly stepping to try to surprise the white wolf. He jumped into the shower, sliding the curtain aside and standing behind Tom, who was idly humming. Wolgram grasped the other wolf's shoulders, turning him around and plastering a kiss on his lips.

Tom was surprised for a moment, but soon relaxed, putting forth a return effort into the kiss. Maws opened and tongues snaked out in a meeting of passion. The two broke away, only for Wolgram to press Tom against the shower wall and for another make out session to occur.

The two stayed in there for what seemed like forever, enjoying the comfort of fur on fur. The two stopped, backing up to allow each other a chance to breathe. The two gazed into each other's eyes, holding each other closely and tenderly, until Tom's eyes faltered and he went to turn the shower off.

"I have to go Wolgram," Tom began, "I'm sorry."

"I know," Wolgram sighed, trying his best to hold back a whine.

Tom gave the bigger wolf a quick kiss and left the shower, toweling off on the way to his bedroom. Wolgram sighed, and left the shower, toweling off and looking over himself in the mirror. Tom hustled back in, fully dressed in a black suit with a red tie.

"Looking spiffy babe," Wolgram began, looking over his boyfriend.

"Thank you," Tom replied, running a comb through his hair and starting to brush his teeth.

Wolgram just sat and watched as Tom prepared himself for work. In no time at all his boyfriend looked like a very presentable businessman, and even smelled like one, due to some fancy cologne. The two walked into the living room, where Tom gave Wolgram a loving hug.

"So what's mine is yours ok hon," Tom said as he broke away, "I'll see you when I'm done."

"Ok Tom," Wolgram replied, "I love you."

"I love you too, bye now," Tom said, going out the door.

"Bye," Wolgram replied quietly.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The large black wolf whined to himself as he heard the car drive away, disappointed that Tom had to leave. He was confused. He'd said goodbye to people with no problem, some of them even close friends he'd knew were going to die, but it had never felt so bad as saying goodbye to the white lupine he'd seemed to have fallen in love with.

He sighed and walked over to the couch collapsing onto it. He then said out loud to no one in particular.

_ "What am I gonna do now?"_

He looked around and then decided that maybe he should really analyze what's been happening to him. He thought back to just before he met Tom. He had just got out of the Spetsnaz, and was glad to be done with the wholesale slaughter that came with the job. At first it hadn't been bad, but as the years and kills piled up on his conscience he couldn't take it anymore.

He had watched as all of his friends and brothers in arms die around him one by one, either through battle or troubled consciences, but he remained determined to go through with it. Suicide wasn't thinkable to him. It was a dishonorable death and he didn't want that. If he was going to die it was going to be for something.

He skipped forward to the bar he had been going to, to escape again after passing a construction site and having a bad flashback from the sounds. He saw dead comrades lying about, some missing limbs and chunks of their bodies. He had looked down and saw a pool of blood around his feet. He did the only thing that seemed to help anymore.

He went to a bar and drunk himself into a stupor. Next thing he knew, he was in a fight then lying in a hospital confused. It was not something foreign to him; he'd had the same thing happen before. He absently brought a paw up to his shirtless torso, running a digit and claw over the countless pink scars riddling his body under his fur.

Next thing he knew, he had been taken aback by this cute white wolf that was so nice and funny. They had talked constantly for the week Wolgram had been in the hospital, the conversations always bringing a smile to Wolgram's face and leaving him with a warm feeling inside. He sighed happily as that thought moved forward to last night.

He had been so nervous. He didn't know what Tom liked to eat, so he just decided to take him to the rib shack he usually went to. It was a nice place, everything cooked just right. He was surprised that it was there, especially since he had always heard that America was with the other countries that had predator and prey species in high places. Which meant meat was a rare commodity, since most of the prey species thought it was unjust.

He still thought this a silly notion, especially since in Russia all leaders were predators, mainly wolves, tigers, and bears. All people in Russia ate meat it was their livelihood. He shook his head, realizing he was wandering away from his thoughts about Tom.

When he had finally picked him up, he had been taken aback again by the cuteness and sexiness of this white wolf, who no matter what, could get him going with just the littlest thing. When they had eaten and kissed in the bathroom, where he spilled out his thoughts, he had been scared. He had to let it out though, and when Tom had returned those feelings he had been happy, so happy he couldn't believe it.

So then when Tom suggested his house he was certainly surprised again. Wolgram chuckled, remembering the sex and sleep. He could still feel the after effects of it, which was no big surprise seeing how intimate and intense it had been. But the point of all this was, what was it that he had been feeling these past days and he think he knew what it was. It was a sense of rightness, like he had finally figured out where he belonged and where he should stay.

He just hoped Tom shared those feelings. He stood up shaking off any of the bad thoughts he had and walked around the house exploring, looking through the cabinets in the kitchen and otherwise just learning the layout of the house. Finally, he went out into the garage, looking around in there for anything to fiddle with.

He knew he probably shouldn't be messing with Tom's stuff, but he was bored. Finally, he found some wood next to the garbage can and his eyes lit up. He picked up the fairly well sized piece of wood and looked it over, smiling as he thought of the pattern he could carve out of it. He set the piece of wood down on a work bench in the garage and walked into Tom's bedroom looking for his shorts.

When he found them, he opened up one of the pockets and pulled out a knife. He pulled the blade out of the sheath and checked to see it was sharp enough. When he saw it take off some of his fur he knew it was and walked back to the wood. He picked it up and was just about to carve when he stopped.

He looked down at the knife in his hand and whined, drooping his tail and pinning his ears to his head. He was ashamed that he was so paranoid that he had brought a knife with him to his boyfriend's house. He put the knife and wood down and hung his head breathing deeply trying to overcome the sadness at all the bad feelings that were welling up inside him.

He felt it was bad this time. He knew it was one that would probably leave him on the floor, holding himself and sobbing like a child. Thoughts of pain and the wrong things he had done flashed through his mind reliving each one. Suddenly, a thought came to him like a lifeline in a stormy sea.

It was a simple image of the look of happiness on Tom's face last night as he drifted off to sleep in Wolgram's arms. Wolgram fought the feelings and stood up straight, setting his jaw and picking up the knife and wood. He went to work on carving the image.

As he shaved more and more wood off, the image of the two wolves meeting at the nose and tail to form a heart became clearer and clearer. He felt better, like the sadness was sent from him. He began to smile as he finally put on the finishing touches.

When he was done he held it out, admiring the curves and thinking that this was the best he'd ever done, probably because it was for someone else. He looked at the wood covered floor and chuckled, finding a broom and sweeping it all up. He then picked up the wood carving and walked inside, setting it down on the coffee table in the living room.

When he looked up he saw that there was only 45 minutes till Tom got home. His tail started to wag, but then he stopped and thought.

_ Maybe I should make dinner since I've been here all day. _

With that he rushed into the kitchen, checking what there was to eat. He saw what he needed immediately. He picked up the tomato sauce and pasta shells and threw them in a pot letting them get hot, and then he looked in the fridge and pulled out some milk and cheese. He then, amazingly, found some meat. He pulled it out and sniffed.

Deer, he thought, his tongue lolling out a little.

Then he cut it up and threw it in with the noodles and milk and cheese. He looked in the pantry he pulled out oregano, parsley, garlic, and onion powder and threw it all in, humming as he determined what the right amounts were to put in. When he was done he stirred it a little and covered it, tasting a little on the spoon and finding that he had done it just right, murring at the taste.

Now I just have to wait for Tom, he thought.

He moved and set forks and bowls on the table, even digging out some candles from the bathroom and lighting them. He was smiling at the whole setup, laughing at the corniness of it all, but hoping Tom would like it. Suddenly, he heard a car door close.

His ears perked up and his tail wagged. He rushed to the lights and turned everything off, closing the blinds as well, trying to get it as dark as possible. He then waited to show his wolf his surprise.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Tom got out of his car, sighing as he locked it. It had been a rough day at work; the accountants under him had messed up the fiscal reports again. Luckily, the white wolf didn't have to stay late to fix them. He sighed again and starting walking towards his house, his tail hole now better enough for him to walk.

He looked up and noticed that everything was dark inside. He stopped, seeing that the blinds were closed as well.

Isn't Wolgram still here?

The white wolf thought to himself as he continued to walk. He made it to the door and opened it, stepping into his house. He turned to close the door, and immediately the lights turned on and a pair of heavy black paws clamped over his eyes. Tom jumped and was immediately calmed down with a kiss.

"Wolgram?" Tom asked.

"Yeah it's me," Wolgram replied, stifling a chuckle.

"What's going on?" Tom asked again, and then sniffed, "And what's that smell?"

"It's a surprise," Wolgram began, "But let me show you."

Wolgram walked the smaller lupine over to the table. Tom could feel the smell get stronger; he began to shiver with anticipation and hunger. The black wolf laughed and stopped at a chair. He uncovered Tom's eyes and stood back, allowing him to see the delicious looking spread.

"Oh my god!" Tom gasped, "You did this for me?"

"Well that's not all," Wolgram replied with a smile, "Why don't you sit down and let me go and get the other part of it."

Tom sat down, his mouth watering at the food in front of him. Wolgram walked into the living room and picked up the wood carving. He returned to Tom, hiding the wood carving behind his back. The white lupine glanced back, looking at his beaming boyfriend. Wolgram placed the carving on the table in front of Tom, who, once he saw it, shot up and embraced Wolgram.

"You are amazing," Tom began, feeling a happy tear trail down his cheek, "No one's ever done something like this for me."

"Well a great guy like you deserves it," Wolgram replied, returning Tom's embrace, "Now we should eat before the food gets cold"

Tom stepped back with a nod, parting with a lick to Wolgram's cheek. The big wolf chuckled and sat down across from his boyfriend. The two began to dig in simultaneously, with Tom murring at every other bite. Wolgram chuckled.

"Is it that good hon?" The black wolf asked.

"Oh yes it is," Tom replied, taking another bite of the pasta.

The two males finished off all of the pasta in very little time at all. Wolgram grabbed the dishes and brought them to the sink to start washing them. Tom came up behind the bigger wolf, and got him into a reverse hug.

"You know I could have done this," Tom began, teasing the bigger wolf's ear with his breath.

"Its fine," Wolgram replied, "I made the mess. How was work today? I forgot to ask."

"Terrible," Tom replied, releasing Wolgram and leaning beside him on the counter, "That was probably the most stressful day since last week."

"Why is that?" Wolgram asked, starting to wash a bowl.

"Because my underlings messed up the weekly fiscal report again," Tom sighed, "And I had to fix it, again, just like every week."

"That's terrible," Wolgram replied, "I'm sorry."

"I know a way you can make it up to me," Tom began, grabbing the dish from Wolgram's paws and setting it at the bottom of the sink, "But these dishes will have to wait."

"I want to hear this," Wolgram began, moving over to pin the white wolf to the kitchen counter and kissing him.

"Want to head to my bed?" Tom asked, "I could use a big snuggly wolf beside me."

"Oh," Wolgram replied, lifting up the smaller wolf onto the counter and pressing into to him to kiss him again, "We're just gonna snuggle?"

"Yeah big guy," Tom said, "Last night wore me out."

"Well then," Wolgram began, turning off the sink and picking up Tom in his arms with one motion, "Let's get snuggling."

Tom giggled and rested his head on Wolgram's shoulder. The brawny wolf carried his boyfriend into his bedroom. Tom was then set on the bed, and was stripped down nothing by his loving mate. In no time at all, the two were both naked under the covers. Tom nuzzled into Wolgram, who put his arms around the white wolf, and held him tightly in a spooning position.

"You know something babe?" Wolgram began, licking Tom's head fur, "You have such a cute giggle."

"Well thanks hon," Tom began, pressing his body closer into Wolgram's, "I've missed being held."

Wolgram turned Tom over so that they were staring into each other's eyes, the tips of their muzzles nearly touching. Wolgram wrapped his arms around the smaller wolf again, pressing their two forms together.

"I missed having some one to hold," Wolgram replied, moving forward and kissing the other wolf on the cheek.

Tom felt another tear leak from his eye, prompting him to lean forward and passionately lip lock with the other wolf. Wolgram murred and found his paws roaming over Tom's body, still holding the lupine close. The white wolf murred and soon found his paws roaming over the black wolf as well. They broke apart the kiss, and gazed longingly into each other's eyes.

"I love you with all of my heart," Wolgram began, grasping Tom's paw.

"I love you with all of my heart too wuffin," Tom replied, caressing the other wolf's face with the other paw.

"Where did wuffin come from?" Wolgram asked, kissing his boyfriend again.

"Well," Tom began, kissing his wolf again, "Wolfy stud muffin is a mouthful to say, so I shortened it to wuffin."

"Aww," Wolgram began, hugging Tom tighter to him, "I love it."

"Oh hon," Tom said, "I have some good news."

"What babe?" Wolgram asked.

"I have tomorrow off," Tom replied.

Wolgram barked happily and squeezed the other wolf tighter. He then relaxed his hold slightly to kiss Tom passionately, the two's paw's rubbing and groping passionately. They finally broke away, gazing in each other's eyes, and holding each other close.

The two stayed in this position for hours. Sharing many more passionate kisses and reveling in the warmth's of their naked fur. When they finally fell asleep, held tightly in each other's arms, they both were content, the stresses of their respective days, gone.
