Choice(Balance)-Arc 1"Beginning" part 19(Final)
Kay wakes up on a bench inside of Kyle's transport.He gets up slowly and rubs his head.He looks over and sees Kyle and Buch standing over him,smiling.
"Welcome back."
Kyle says.Kay looks at him,and grins slightly.
"You were out cold for a while."
Buch says.He then looks at his hands and he remembers what he did in the temple and what the keepers said about him.He clenches his hands tight.
"I...I've been the angel this whole time.That fire.My wings.It's true.I guess I am the red and black winged angel.Guess Lucifer's theory was proven."
Kay says with a frown.Kyle places hid hand on his shoulder.
"Look Kay.We're all safe and sound.let's just head back home to get some rest alright?"
He says with a grin.Buch shows Kay the Ceptar of Deception.
"Yeah,and we got the ceptar now,so we're good.What's not good is my stomach.I'm gonna pass out if I don't eat somethin soon."
Buch says,smiling.Kay smiles back.He nodds.
You're right.Let's head back to Cade city."
Kay says.He gets up and feels sore all over.He then goes outside to get some fresh air,and look at the sky.He then started to think more about everything that's happened,and the news he recieved in the temple.He then hears a shout.A very familiar shout.
"KAAAAAYYY!! OVER HERE!!!"
Kay looks over at the figure and was shocked.His eyes widened as he looked even closer.He slowly walks to the figure that he could barely see cause of the sun beating down on him.The last thing he would ever expect to see after everything that's happened,and in the middle of a deserted plain,was that innocent grin that made Kay's heart race.The figure started to run at Kay at full speed.Kay rubbed his eyes hoping that he wasn't going crazy.The figure ran closer and closer and closer.Kay then starts to smile.He had no doubts anymore.He saw Alan as he jumped on Kay and hugged him tight.They both fell a bit on the floor.Alan was sobbing un-controlably while Kay was smiling at him.
"Alan!!Alan you're really here!!"
He shouts in delight.But Alan kept hugging Kay,not as tight as before.
"Kay,I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm so sorry."
Alan says,still sobbing quietly.They both settled as they both stood back up.
"How did you leave?"
Kay asks in amazement.Alan looks at him just as confused.
"There was a voice in my head that helped me.She made a portal for me to get out.I didn't really know why she helped me,but she seemed really nice.She was an angel,and her name's Star."
Alan says,grinning.Kay grins back.
"Damn.Well I guess we traveled all the way out here for nothing then."
Kay says.Alan was confused.
"We?"
He asks.
"Oh,me,Kyle and Buch traveled out here to find a way to get you out of there."
Hay responds.Alan's eyes widened.
"Buch!!?"
Alan says.Kay chuckles a bit.
"I know that was my reaction too.But he decided to help me come look for you.He actually helped us out alot though.Come on let's go.They're waiting over there."
Kay says as he points at Kyle's transport.Alan nodds.
"Right."
He says with the innocent grin again.Kay's heart raced once more and he puts his hand on his shoulder.
"Alan.So happy you're back."
He says with a cencre smile.Alan nodds in agreement.
"It's nice to be back,Kay."
He says.They head back to see Kyle and Buch.Kyle was in the driver's seat while Buch was sitting,and waiting for Kay to come back.He emerged and was smiling the entire time.
"Hey guys,look who I've got with me."
Kay announces as Alan stepps from behind him and grins.Kyle and Buch gaped at the un expected visit.Kyle goes to see him and smiles.
"Alan!? My god you're here.You're o.k."
Kyle says,delighted.Buch was still sitting.
"Yo,what up squirt!!"
Buch shouts cheerfully.Alan frowns,feeling guilty about the fight they had.
"Hey um,Buch..I'm uh..."
Buch pats him on the head and smiles.
"Don't worry about it.You're here now so stop actin all mopey.I hate seein mopey people."
He says as he stopps russling his hair.Alan giggles and felt forgiven.Alan felt so comfortable when he was greeted so kindly.He felt like he had a family here.People who care about him and treats him like anyone else.At last,he found where he belonged.
"Well since you're here,we don't need the ceptar anymore."
Buch says.
"Not right now,but we'll hold onto it.There's a chance we might need it later on."
Kyle says.
"Well guys.Let's go home."
Kay announces as they leave tward Cade city.Kyle stopped at his house to park the vehicle back in his garage.They all stepped out to bid eachother farewell.
"Well I've had as much fun as I can stand for the day so I'm gonna turn in.And don't worry about the ceptar,I'll hold onto it."
Kyle says as he stretches a bit,and flicks his glasses.Kay nodds in agreement.
"Right.Kyle,thanks for all your help."
He says.Kyle grins then heads back inside.He turns then faces Kay.
"Take it easy."
He says as he shuts the door.Kay and Alan heads to Buch's house to drop him off.Buch's stomach growls and he turns to face the 2.
"Well,that's my cue to settle my ass down.Later,but make sure you keep this guy on a leash or somethin."
Buch says in a teasing way.
"Hey."
Alan responds,taking offense.Buch closes his door.Kay and Alan head over to his house.They stepped through,and discovered that it was deserted.Kay and Alan looked around,puzzled.
"Mom!! Dad!! You guys home!?"
Kay shouts as he looked everywhere.He saddens.
"Kay?"
Alan says,concerned.
"I don't get it.Where could they be?"
Kay asks.He sighs.Alan notices something on the refridgerator.He takes it off and brings it to Kay.
"Kay look what I found."
He says as he hands it to him.He opens it and starts to read it.
"Kay,if you're reading this,then we're sure by now you've saved Alan.We're so proud of you.Keep each other safe no matter what happens,okay? Me and your father went on a buisness trip and won't be back for some time.Sorry we were'nt there to greet you 2.We love and miss you.Your mother-Felicity."
The note ended.Kay looks sad,and Alan did the same.
"Kay,are you alright?"
He asks.Kay looks at him and grins slightly.
"Yeah I'm fine.Come on let's head upstairs."
Kay says as they head up into Kay's room.Alan smiles and collapses on his bed,and sighs.
"Ah,your bed is as comfortable as I remembered it."
He says.Kay chuckles a bit.
"Guess it did'nt take you long to settle."
He says as he continued to watch Alan.The window was opened.And the breeze weeved it's way into the room again.It was Kay's favorite part of the day:The soothing weather.It was very calm outside like usual,and it had the same sunset as usual.Alan sits up and frowns.
"Kay.I want to ask you something?"
He says as he looks down on the floor,trying not to make eye contact.
"Sure,what is it?"
Kay asks.
"Do you....Hate me?"
He asks.Kay was offstruck.
"Alan."
He says softly.
"I've caused you so much pain.And,you already figured out that you're my dad's messiah,and God's enemy.That's something you should'nt have to bare on your shoulders."
He says.Alan then looks up at Kay with sad eyes.
"Alan.I don't care about-
"But I'm not the victim in this situation.I believed every word my father told me and I followed his orders,blindly.I did'nt even care if what I was doing wrong or not.I-
"Alan.Stop.It's not your fault."
Kay says.Alan continues to frown.Kay still stood in front of him.
"Alan.Children follow their parents no matter what.We're used to it because they are the ones who raised us.You can't help sometimes what you've been raised to believe.We can only move forward with who we are now.I've made my decision to stay by your side always.That,I know,is something that I choose to do regardless of what I belive now."
Kay finishes.Alan looks at him,still sad.
"I did'nt want to take your happiness away,that's why I did'nt tell you anything.You deserved to live peacefully.But i guess that won't happen now that my dad knows what you are."
Alan says,frowning.
"Alan."
Kay says softly.
"Do you....Forgive me?"
Alan asks desperately.Kay walks over to him and places his hand on his shoulder once again,and smiles.
"No.I won't,because you're not guilty of anything."
Kay says.Alan looks up at Kay and grins slightly.
"Kay."
He says,softly.
"If Lucifer wants me so bad then he's got it.I won't let him do as he pleases anymore.From this day forward,I promise to defeat Lucifer and put an end to this war."
Kay says,couragously.he continues to stare out the window and Alan stands next to him.
"Right.And I promise to always stay by your side too."
Alan says.
Kyle was typing on his computer then he looks out his window.
"Since Lucifer knows that Kay is the chosen one,he's gonna be pulling out all the stops.Now we're his targets."
He says as he glares out the window.
Buch was lifting weights in his room and he looks out his window.
"Who woulda thought that Kay was a god.And that pipsqueak is Lucifer's kid too.Man,things are gonna hellish real soon."
He says.Kay and Alan continues to stare out the window together.He looks at the necklace his father gave him and he speaks to himself in his head.
"I don't know what my fate holds.I don't know what future lies in store for me.One thing I do know,is that I won't back down from this fight.For Alan.For my friends.For the world.I will defeat you....Lucifer."
Kay says as he glares out the window.Lucifer stands looking out of his castle and he grins at the up coming events.
"So....It begins."
He says.The story of Kay's fight...has just begun.
