Choice(Balance)-Arc 1"Beginning" part 18
Alan awoke in a room that was inside Lucifer's castle.He was still burrying his head in his arms,but arose quickly as if he had a nightmare.Rather,as if he responded to Kyle's shout of Kay's name.He grabs his face and looks around.He tears up a bit realising what probably happened to Kay.
"Kay.I'm sorry.I..Never wanted you to find out this way."
He says quietly.The room he was in was his room.There was no comfortable bed for him to feel relaxed on.The room felt more like a jail cell rather than someone's bedroom.There was,however,a window which had a perfect view of Hell from where he was.He slowly walks tward the window and stares out of it.The one thing that was running through his mind rapidly,was Kay.He missed being with him.Laughing with him.Playing with him.He then starts to feel guilty for telling him about the angel,and for not saying anything about his origin.He clenches his fists as he continued to stare.
"Kay...I'm..Gonna tell you how sorry I am.I want to see you.So I've decided..I'm gonna try and runaway from here.I'm not sure how far I'll get,but I have to try.I want to see you again."
He says to himself.He then looks out his door and sees that the coast was clear.He never intended to go through the dark halls,but wanted to see if anyone was outside his door.He closes the door slowly,and begins to climb out the window.The castle was quite big,and since his room was at such a high altitude,he would easily be seen by air patrols.He begins to climb his way down the castle.It didn't take him long,considering how energetic and theletic he was.He finally reached solid ground,and immediately looks around for any demons that might see him.He senses 3 demons coming from a corner fo the castle,and he quickly hides.They passed by,but one of them stops for a second and looks around.Feeling a presence,the demon starts to investigate the side of the castle.Alan's heart was going a mile a minute,but kept his cool.The demon reaches the spot where Alan was and discovers that there was no one there.The demon immediately walks away.Alan was hanging off a ledge of the castle.He sighs,then he drops down.
"That was too close.I guess I should get to an open area first."
He says as he continues to sneak through the dark realm.He was fortunately able to sense demons since he was one himself.He was born with that trait like ,but there was only one other who possessed an ability like that: Lucifer.Alan knew this so he had to move fast.He continued through,and he finally got away from the castle and headed straight to where an open field was.It was covered in battle scars and craters.Most likely an area used for "testing" a demon's power,and an arena.Alan stopped for a second to catch a breather.
"Alright.I made it away from the castle,but I'm still not sure how to leave here."
He says with a troubled look on his face.
"I should probably get out of the open.There are guards over there,but I may be able to figure something out if I look around some more."
He says as he ventures through Hell even further.He notices specific towers placed all around Hell,and was intruiged by them.
"I wonder what was so important about those.Dad told me,but-
Along the way he heard a voice in his head:
"Alan..You won't be able to leave.Lucifer knows you're gone."
The voice warns.Alan stops in his tracks and looks around,ouzzled.
"Who..Who said that? Where are you?"
Alan demanded as he continued to look around.The voice in his head spoke again.
"I am an angel.That's all I can say for now.I'm here to help you."
The angel says.Alan was even more confused.
"An angel? Why would you help me? I'm a demon."
Alan says.
"You want to see Kay don't you?"
The voice asks.Alan's eyes widened.
"How do you know Kay?"
He asks.He then sees multiple demons coming from afar.He gulps and stares at the rushing horde in horror.
"Alan there's no time for explinations,you must leave now!"
The angel stressed.
"But,how?"
He asks.Then a portal opens immediately in front of him and he stares in awe.
"I can teleport you to where Kay is.Now go to him.The demons are drawing near."
The angel says.Without hesitation Alan jumped through the portal.He landed on field of grass.He gets up to look around and he smiles.
"The sky,the grass,I'm back on earth! Thank you so much.What's your name?"
Alan asks the angel.
"For now you may call me Star.I'm sure we'll meet again Alan,but until then,I must leave.Go to Kay,he needs you."
Star says.Alan nodds,and he starts his search to see his friend once again.
