Choice(Balance)-Arc 1"Beginning" part 13
They reached Kyle's house and straight to Kyle's room.Kyle immediatly gets on his computer and starts typing.He pulls up a picture of a tall demonic man with a cape and horns.
"Is that Lucifer?"
Kay asks.Kyle nodds.
"Yeah.It says here that he's devoted alot of his time to finding the red and black winged angel,the god of balance.His system was to send a specific person to test and see who is worthy of being this angel and bring him to Hell.He feels that if he obtains the chosen one,he'll settle the war once and for all.It seems he sent his own son here to find the angel,but instead he-
"Started living with me."
Kay finishes Kyle's statement.Kyle frowns.
"Yes.I'm sorry Kay.But Alan is Lucifer's son."
Kyle announces.Kay clenches his fists in anger.
"He'll just use his own son like that? He won't get away with this."
Kay says.Buch looks confused.
"I'm stumped 4-eyes.We need some kind of plan."
Buch says.Kay thinks for a second.
"Kyle is there a way to cross into Hell?"
Kay asks.Kyle starts to type again.A small red ceptar appears on the screen.
"I got it...This artifact is called the Ceptar of Deception."
Kyle says.Buch chuckles a bit.
"Try sayin that 5 times fast."
Buch says.Kyle clears his throat.
"Well,here it says that it's able to summon a portal into Hell.If we get that we'll be able to get there."
Kyle says.
"Sounds easy enough,let's do it!!"
Buch says.
"He's right.We know what to do,so let's act.We leave first thing tomorrow.I know I'm asking alot guys,but I can't do this by myself.I promised him.I promised him that I would always protect him and stay by his side.I'll go to Hell to get him back no matter what."
Kay announces.Kyle and Buch are moved by his words and they grin.
"What the hell,I'm up for it."
Buch says.
"Right.He's my friend too,you know.besides you'd be lost without my brain."
Kyle says.Kay looks at the 2 and smiles cencerely.
"You guys.Thank you."
Kay says.
The next morning,Kay did'nt hesitate.He got ready and head downstairs to leave.
"Leaving without saying goodbye?"
A familiar voice says.Kay turns around and sees his dad.Kay frowns a bit.
"Dad...I'm sorry..I-
Rez raises his hand to interupt him.
"It's alright Kay.Kyle already told me everything.Me and your mom."
He says.Kay looks up at him.
"You're not mad?"
Kay asks.Rez places his hands on his shoulders and smiles.
"Son,I've always preached to you about doing what's necessary or what's right.But this time,I want you to do what YOU think is right.It's your choice and yours alone.I want you to be careful out there.i know you'll be able to save him. I believe in you.I know I don't say this often,but..I'm proud of you."
Rez hugs his son with teary eyes.Kay's eyes began to water as well.Rez reached in his pocket and pulls out a gold necklace.
"Keep this to remember me and your mother by,o.k? So that no matter where you go,we're always with you."
Rez says.Kay puts it around his neck,and smiles.
"Thanks dad.Well I'm off.Wish me luck."
Kay says as he heads out the door.Rez watches him in such pride and confidence.Kay goes straight to Buch's house first.He knocks on the door.Buch answers.
"What took you so long?"
Buch asks.Kay scratches his head and grins a bit.
"Sorry,i had to do some catching up with my dad.Ayways,Kyle asked me to give this to you."
Kay says as he reaches in his pocket and takes out a cellphone.he gives it to Buch.
"If we're gonna make this happen we need to remain in contact."
Kay says.Buch nodds.
"Alright,let's head to Kyle's house."
Kay says as the 2 head off.Kay knocked on Kyle's door and the camera popped out from the gutters again.
"Oh hey guys.I'll be down in a second."
Kyle says.The camera goes back into the gutters.Buch had an offstruck look on his face.
"Is he always like this with his inventions?"
Buch asks.Kay grins.
"I'm afraid so."
He says.Kyle comes through the front door.
"You ready?"
Kyle asks.Kay and Buch both nodd.
"By the way what are we traveling in?"
Kay asks.Kyle grins,then flicks his glasses.
"Thought you'd never ask.Follow me to the garage."
He says as he walks to the side of the house.Kay and Buch follows.When they got to the garage,Kyle opens it and reveals a transport that was like a cross between a van and a yacht.Kay and Buch stared in awe.
"Woah.It's huge."
Kay says.Kyle chuckles a bit.
"Yeah.This is what I used the car battery for that we found a while back.After my dad died in a flying accident he sort of left alot his technology here. I sort of inherited every piece of it and tinkered with it at some point.This is one of my,well,me and my dad's inventions.Hope you guys like it."
Kyle says,proudly.
"How long have you been workin on this?"
Buch asks,stunned.
"Since yesterday."
Kyle responds,smiling.Kay clenches his fist,and smiles.
"Hold on Alan.We're on our way."
He says in determination.
