It was morning now, and Shadey was happier than ever, now that he knows about his uncle Shadow and the battle he fought when he was a pup.
Liki was at the lake taking a walk with a girl named Uni. Shadey never did see the purpose with having a girl around.
So, Shadey went to walk in the woods alone. Even though he wasn't supposed to, he did anyways.
But this time it was the wrong day to be alone as a pup.
Shadey was happy jumping up on the fallen tree trunks and rolling in the grass. He was away from the pack but still in the territory. He as being watched.
Shadey didn't know a fox was watching the pup at the time. He was about to jump when it attacked. It brought Shadey down and he growled when he was hit. The fox snarled and started to pull on Shadey's leg.
Shadey growled and got free, attempting to run. The fox jumped on the little wolf. Before the fox could kill him, Shadey felt a surge of strength. He jumped up and grabbed the fox's tail. The fox jumped in the air as Shadey let go and flew in the air. The fox looked up but it was too late now. Shadey latched on to the fox and slammed it to the ground. When Shadey let go the fox ran off, whining.
Shadey howled as he then limped back to the pack.
Liki sat on a rock with Uni as he saw his little brother hurt. He rushed over to see if he was ok but then he noticed a smell.
"Fox?" He looked at Liki and nodded.
" I hurt it, I don't know how badly but maybe fatal." Liki gave him a dumbfounded look. "You injured an adult fox. How?" Shadey sat down.
"I...I don't know it just happen. Maybe it was the spirit of Shadow." Liki growled.
"You believe in the spirits and all that crap?"
"Well yeah. They look after us. Just ask our dad and the elders." Liki growled and walked off with Uni. Silver saw what took place and sat down.
"I'll talk to him later. Right now, are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm ok dad. My arm and jaw are sore that's all." Silver smiled and nuzzled the pup.
"Glad you're ok. Go to Terra and she'll get you cleaned up." Shadey got up and limped to his mom. Silver looked at Liki on his rock. Liki saw his dad an expression passed over his face. He knew that look and walked over to Silver.
"Ye...Yeah dad?" Silver growled.
"So you don't believe in the spirits do you? Well then you have a task then. You're to go to the elders and explain your reasons for acting the way you did,
"The spirits are angry. You must go to them and find out what your task is to please the spirits Understood."
Liki growled. "I DON'T WANT TO. THEY'RE NOT REAL, DAD!!!"
Silver growled and bit down on Liki hard enough to make him do what he was told.
"Go now or you will stay in that cave and you will be banished from seeing Uni if you don't do it. I am your alpha you do what you're told. If you do not you, will be punished severely." Liki walked off broodingly to the elders.
Silver could tell the spirits angry and knew Shadow was pissed off too.
He sighed, knowing that Liki will know and please them but hopes they will trust him now. Terra came up.
"Silver." He looked over to see is wife and he smiled.
"Yes?"
"Shadey is asleep right now and he's all cleaned up. His wounds should heal in a few days."
Silver smiled and walked over and nuzzled her and gave Terra a kiss.
"Thank you."
She smiled and gave giggle.
"You're welcome." Silver smiled.
"Well, Liki is not good right now. I sent him on a task to correct his mistake."
"What did he do?" Terra asked.
"He said the spirits are not real. He's angry with them and our wolf god himself. If he doesn't fix it something bad could happen to us or to him. I just found out about Shadow's pack he was in; I don't want that to happen to us." Terra nodded.
"Well he should do it anyways, so let's not worry Shadey is napping and Liki's on a mission. So..."
Terra smiled and walked in a circle letting her tail brush against Silver's face.
"Want to have some fun?" Silver's mind started to race and started to pant. But he shook his head.
"Terra I'm sorry. But not right now." Silver sat there and panted. "We can't right now." Terra looked at him weird like. "Is...is everything ok?" Silver started to whimper. "Shadow and I.... well." Terra spoke before him.
"You don't have to say anymore. I know you wish your brother was here and be able to have fun with him instead." Silver smiled.
"Thanks... I'll meet you in a little bit I'm going to see Shadow." Terra nodded.
Silver walked for a little bit and came to Shadow's grave, he sat there and lay down.
He lie on the grass that's now grown on the patch and dozes off to sleep. He awoke to the place were he saw a battle. A battle in which he saw his brother and his dad and it was for real.
He watched as Shadow was getting his ass handed to him by his father.
The brown wolf growled.
"Like I said you should never have come back. You're still weak. Even in death you're weak. I'm glad I took you away from my son when I did,
Your homosexual acts were wrong and you fucking know it. Even though my son adopted you and took you in, my pack didn't give you the right. Now, prepare to die you worthless excuse for a wolf." the brown wolf was about to attack when Silver ran and jumped. He missed and went through as it faded and he woke up.
He saw it was night and didn't realized he had slept so long.
He ran back to his pack knowing the spirits were angry and if this happens Shadow could be killed in the spirit world and may never be back...
