In the year 2026 the now rouge U.S.A developed a hi-tech bomb designed to turn their enemy's into mindless animals.
Seven year's later it was deployed after minimal testing. The effect was devastation it did turn humans into animals only they had traits from both human and animal. The side effects were that it only effected 25 percent of the world, the other 75 percent died horribly. Three year's later they burrowed out of their graves and started eating the living, the 25 percent still living dropped dramatically to only 5 percent of the starting three billion people only an estimated 600 were left all fighting for their lives all fighting for a single hope, that one day they will win.
Waking up day after day after day in one hellhole after another Corbin was getting sick of this shit yeah he was part rat but even he had standards. Scratching his pitch black fur he starts to stretch.
"Hey guys wake up it's time to go." He yelled to the four people with him.
"Alright alright you damn slave driver." Standing a all white rabbit pops his back and picks up his his leopard gun. Putting his jacket on he cover's his fur.
"Oh quit your bitching Hagen you didn't have night watch." A small tortoiseshell girl says. Slowly she get's dressed in front of use all at this point it was normality. "After all girls need more beauty sleep then men."
"Shut it you..." Getting cut off by a guttural scream all of get our gun's out. Putting my FN FAL on my back i motion for complete silence, it was a sounder. They were huge muscular beasts that were completely blind, they were also a form of scout for the hordes of the dead sheep. ((Sheep referencing mindless followers of the strongest ones or smart ones.))
"Where's Tyler he was supposed to be watching for this kind of stuff." As if on cue a military green lizard appeared from around the bend. Rushing to him a go to slap him, endangering himself was one thing but endangering the group was a whole different matter.
"Wait wait i was just coming to tell you guys i was a little preoccupied with this trash." Pulling a human that had severed limbs literally shoved into his side's. It was a crawler, lowering my hand i notice the marks around Tyler's neck.
"How long are the intestines?" Anna asked walking up to it and cutting human and furry intestines alike from its dead body.
"Looks to be about eighty maybe eight-five feet, Anna." A small unassuming brown ferret said. Picking up his SK-47, he slowly turns to the corner. Out of nowhere a few zombie's appear around the corner. Ignoring them we hear Garrett laugh as he kills them. Feeling a spray of gore hit me.
"Watch it Garrett i know you like to make a mess but god damn." Shaking the blood and bits of flesh off my fur. Garrett in the mean time ripped out two teeth from one of them to add to a pouch. That damned pouch, anything that he though he could use from them he would take. Most of the time it was teeth. Creepy but not as creepy as what he dose with them. he specialized in using his teeth to rip his opponents to shreds.
WHABOOM, WHABOOM, WHABOOM. And the sounder was uppon us. Tyler drew his knifes, Anna her Desert eagal and i scurry up onto m ear by ledge of the building we were in, god knows what it was before the bomb. WHAM it smashes the ledge i was standing on. Falling i land on it.
"OH um shit umm bye." Jumping off hear the hitting of bullets where i just was. Screaming the thing swings nearly takeing off my head. Shooting it in the gut at point blank i spot garrett on the now destroyed platform. In his hands were Dyinamite.
"God damn it, EVERYONE RUN." Getting up i spot him jumpping on to it then tapeing the now lit bomb on the thing. Rushing down the hall we spot garrett turning the corrner just as we hear the explotion Erupts from the room behind him.
"That idiot just attracted every zombie for miles around to here." Hagen says sending one flying out a window with a kick. Turning to me they all wait.
"Shit what to do i could try and lead them up to the roof and hope we can some how make it to the next building after all its worked before. Or we could try and take the back rout and go to the park behind this building."
Pauseing i look outside the window, zombie's everywhere. "Were takeing the roof Tyler garrett you two go on ahead and look around me Hagen and Anna will Follow covering your backs. Nooding the go followed by Anna and Hagen.
"Time to set up shop and feed some hungry bastards." Laying down behind a knocked over table i put the scope on my gun and wait. It was a funnled tunnle so it should be easy. Hearing a semi-crazed laugh i silently curse. Spike ball's. They were humans who took to rolling into balls and slamming into their opponents after a few years the got smart and started to roll around in anything sharp snd deadly.Shooting i take the first one down and it Explodes.
"What the hell !" That wasen't normal the just died not exploded. Something was changeing with them. Seeing the Horde rush us i start shooting one after another go's down.
"Corbin? Can you He *Static* me we have rached the roof but *Static fuzz*. Rodger?"
"Yeah i got you." Throwing a small flash bang i turn and start running down the hall turning i spot one big problem. A Captin hands, They were nearly bullet proof and damn strong to boot the only way to get past them was to kill them with your bare hands. Tossing my only grenade behind me i blow out the floor behind me and set down my gun. Walking up to him i look at his belt nine kill's by him, drawing my knife from my boot we each slowly circle echother.
