Story by Vorel Ashurha on SoFurry

I'll be editing this later... I feel bad for how long it took me to come up with an idea, like, three weeks, and so I rushed this out. It'll be longer later, and if Morbid and Offox are cool with it I'll throw in a steamy scene.

The cacophonous sounds of a camel's lowing brought the undead fox from his shop. Perched atop one of the beasts was a familiar figure draped in gold silks.

"Ah, Vorel... I see you've made a full recovery. Good." Vorel grinned at her friend as she hopped down from her mount.

"Indeed I have, dear Somber. I will admit that it provided plenty of entertainment while it persisted, though. I've brought you a little gift, in return." She withdrew a large leather satchel from her saddle bag and tossed it toward him. Somber caught the hefty bag in his arms and began poking the package curiously. It squirmed in his hands, eliciting a gasp of shock.

"What is it?" he asked, tearing his white eyes away from the gift. He words fell on deaf ears- the jackal had already vanished.

Somber closed up his shop for the night and made his way home, back to the loving embrace of his wife and the warm bed they shared. As he walked, the bag grew heavier. When he finally reached his glowing abode he was crawling through the sand, lugging his parcel behind him. A weak cry escaped his lips as he finally collapsed a few yards from his door. Light spilled forth from the stone abode as his wife rushed to his aid. Her slender pink digits wrapped around his toned arms and pulled him to his feet. The pair crossed the threshold without too much trouble, the wriggling sack laying forgotten near the door.

"Somber! Are you alright?" The fox could feel his strength returning without the influence of Vorel's strange gift.

"Pan." He said affectionately, smiling up at her. "Do me a favor and open that sack for me? It seems our necromancer friend has gotten us a gift, and I must admit I'm dying to find out what it is." Pan grinned.

" A gift? From her? Not all that sure I'd trust it, myself, but if you really want to know..." She knelt down before the animate bag and slowly tugged at the strings securing it shut. The movements from the burlap ceased. Just as curious as her husband, pan leaned in with eager eyes to peep inside.

"Huh... it's empty." She leaned back in disappointment. Somber sighed.

"I knew it'd be a trick." He struggled to his feet and took his wife by the hands, leading her away from the empty parcel. As soon as their backs were turned, a strange purple liquid began to ooze from the bag and creep along the stone floor. It shot out thick tendrils which latched on to the undead fox's ankle and ripped him to the floor.

"Pan!" She turned to witness the slime crawling along her husband's body, devouring him.

"Somber!' She raised a fist as if to beat the sludge off of him, but he waved her away.

"Don't touch it! Grab a bucket of water, quickly!" He watched her as she ran, panic settling in as pain flooded his nerves. It seemed as though every bone in his body was twisting and writhing beneath his flesh, cracking and jabbing into his taught muscles. Pan... Hurry...

Pan rounded the corner, a bucket of fresh water in her arms. She stopped as her eyes fell upon the form of her husband, breathing shallowly on the floor. A change had come over him, a change she was curious about indeed... She crept towards him slowly, gently nudging her husband with her muscular tail. A groan escaped his lips and he tried to stand, only to fall to his feet.

"Pan.. What... I seem to have lost my, erm, sense of balance...will you help me?" She nodded and helped him to his feet.

"Why are you staring at me like that? What's wrong?" Pan produced a small hand mirror and passed it to the perplexed fox.

"Ye gods! What..." His face stared back at him, but as he moved the mirror around his body he saw just how clever the queen was. Her 'gift' was just a modified version of his own, complete with heaving bosoms but with one major difference. Where his torso ended was now a muscular, elongated body supported by four legs. Between the back two rested two pairs of erect genitals, pulsing and dripping with a strange green nectar. Pandora took a wobbly step back, her mouth agape in shock as her eyes happened upon the strange silver manhood.

"That... That doesn't seem comfortable." He chuckled at her.

"It really isn't. Maybe you could help me with that, though..." He took his wife by the hand and led her to their bedchambers, a sly grin stretching from cheek to cheek.

As they lay in their post-coitus reverie, relaxing, letting the sweat on their fur to dry, Somber's body began to crack and bend, returning to its original form as he cried in pain. Pandora held him in her arms as the shift occurred, stroking his hair as he shrank and contorted as the strange slime's effects faded. He lay beneath the sheets, shaking, his closed eyes summoning the images of his and Pan's passion, feeling his mending body begin to flood his nether regions with warmth once more.

"Pandora... ready for round two?"
