Rest Day
The woods on the deserted outskirts of Darnassus were clean and fragrant, a beautiful landscape if there ever was one. The two Worgen walking through the pathless forest appreciated the natural beauty...even if one of them was a little nervous.
"Why do you think she wanted to meet out here? Today of all days?" Arlathan wasn't quite as constantly nervous as he had been, but he could still be anxious when he wasn't brewing potions. Lucios didn't mind, the boy was loyal to the end, always willing to help, and had a good head on his shoulders. Lucios could tolerate a few quirks, elune knew he had more than a few of his own. The stress inherent to the mercenary lifestyle bred neuroses like rabbits.
"Well, I can make a few guesses but I do not think it is anything to fret over." He gave Arlathan a pointed look. Arlathan winced, dropping his head a little, and his ears drooped.
"I apologize, I shouldn't get like this."
"There is no need to apologize, just try to relax."
"I try, I truly do, it is just..." He didn't seem sure of how to finish.
"You didn't expect this?" Lucios supplied, knowing his friend's rule and schedule bound mindset.
"Yes. Sorry." Lucios sighed.
"Arlathan, there is no need to apologize to me. I know you get nervous easily, instead of apologizing try and calm down." Lucios smiled a bit as Arlathan took a deep breath and let it out; he would help the anxious cub yet.
They walked in silence for a while, enjoying the fading daylight. Lucios had taken to volunteering for local jobs instead of the long-term ones he had preferred before he had gotten to know Arlathan, that way he was in the base more often and had more time with his friends within the company. That was the only reason he was able to accompany Arlathan on this little adventure. He had bonded particularly close to the young alchemist very quickly, and Arlathan had been overjoyed to have a male friend for the first time. They fought occasionally, but even the best of friends argued. Resolving arguments was the mark of real friends, and they had always managed to resolve any fights they had. That was particularly crucial in their case since they shared a room in the company barracks, and any time an alchemist (almost all alchemists were perfectionists and highly organized) and a fairly messy individual like Lucios had to share quarters, fights would ensue.
"I think we're almost there." Arlathan said quietly, there was some tension in his voice, not exactly nerves either. Lucios grinned, he was feeling a mite...tense...as well. They had been asked to come to this particular area outside Darnassus by a mutual acquaintance. Moonblossom was a paid female they had both slept with, she had been Arlathan's first. She was very good at her job and they had both gone back to her multiple times in the months since Arlathan had mated her for the first time. The last time Lucios had spent the night with her she had surprised him by inviting both Arlathan and himself to meet her on one of her rest days. "Greetings, I hoped you would accept my invitation." She seemed truly pleased. "Come, follow me. I will explain on the way." They both followed her around the edge of the pond as she continued to speak.
"I found this place not long after I came to Darnassus. I was out for a walk, enjoying the grass under my hindpaws when what should I discover but this." She turned and smiled at them both. She had led them up a small stream that fed into the pond only to be blocked by a seemingly impenetrable wall of undergrowth. She crouched down and crawled through a well-hidden hole that neither of them had noticed. Arlathan looked at Lucios who shrugged and followed her example. Arlathan followed as well. The hole turned out to be the entrance to a tunnel, it wasn't very long and when they came out they were treated to a beautiful sight. There was a gap in the trees allowing light to pour into a clearing within the clearing they were already in. The stream they had seen previously welled out of the ground not far from where they stood, its quiet burbling was very peaceful.
"This place is beautiful." Arlathan said quietly.
"Yes, it is. Though I imagine you are wondering why I asked you here." She faced them and seemed excited.
"I am curious." Said Lucios, as he removed the satchel that contained the promised food. Arlathan brought satchels containing plenty of neatly folded blankets for bedding.
"I am as well."
"As I told Lucios, this is one of my rest days. However," Her voice lowered and became smoky. "I grow bored unless I have...playmates." Lucios grinned, he had hoped for this. Though he wondered why she had specifically invited both he and Arlathan, who apparently wondered the same thing.
"Um, if you wanted a mate...why did you ask for both of us?"
"Is there any reason I should only have one mate at a time? Besides, I want to...try a few things." She untied the belt holding her robe together as she spoke, she wasn't wearing any underclothes and most Worgen forwent footwear altogether. Lucios grinned and followed her example, taking a little longer to undo the fasteners on his jerkin. Arlathan just looked shocked. "Join us Arlathan, it will be hard for you to play with us if you remain clothed."
"B-but, um-"Lucios saw that his friend would need some convincing.
"You don't have anything either of us have not seen before." He said as he worked his pants off, revealing his swiftly growing erection. "Besides, feeling the breeze in your fur is wonderful. Come join us." Arlathan fidgeted for a moment before consenting.

"It is a date then." Said Moonblossom. "Are you two going to stay here a while yet?" Arlathan and Lucios shared a look.
"I think so, yes." Said Arlathan as he waded into the stream, Moonblossom just smiled.
"In that case I will see you...soon." She left as quietly as she came the previous night, leaving the males alone with their thoughts. There was a period of contemplative silence as Arlathan finished bathing and Lucios joined him. When they were done they both laid down in a patch of sunshine to dry their fur and enjoy the breeze. Eventually Arlathan spoke up.
"Lucios...about what we did last night..." Lucios turned to look at him. "Are you...angry about it?" Arlathan ventured warily. Lucios rolled over on his side and held his friend's gaze.
"No. Far from it." He lifted a paw and slowly reached over, a little unsure, Arlathan didn't move away, and when the paw came to rest on his left cheek, he nuzzled it. "I...I admit it was strange. But I don't regret it, not for an instant. If you...if you ever wanted, I would do it again in a heartbeat, but if you have doubts-"
"I do not. I truly enjoyed it." Arlathan said assuredly, there was another long period of silence as they dried in the sun. "Lucios?"
"Yes?"
"Um, if I ask something will you promise not to laugh?" He sounded insecure, but there was a tiny glimmer of hope in his voice.
"Of course not."
"Could, um, could you...hug me?" His voice was tiny as he finally conveyed the strange request. Lucios blinked, but did as Arlathan asked, drawing him into an embrace.
