In the beginning, there were the gods. Some created, some destroyed, some protected, some persecuted. Regardless, they were powerful, and they ruled over the mortals on the planet Osa. But in the modern world, the mortals forgot the gods. Without the prayers of their mortal servants, the gods simply left Osa to its fate.

This is a list of the gods of Osa.

Adam The Betrayed: The god of light. Protective, but only towards the good and innocent. Calm, rewarding, caring, and vigilant. He favors justice, honor, compassion, and sacrifice. Adam, was a paladin of sorts. He was defending a fortress against over whelming odds. He rallied his soldiers, and was close to victory, if not just because he was such a talented fur. However, his enemies bribed most of the officers under Adams command, and when the time came; they killed Adam, and anyone loyal to him. Thus his title. He tends to take the form of a lion or even a frost dragon.

Adina The Widow: The goddess of love. Kind, protective, and seductive. Adina is one of the most favored gods. She favors valiant effort, kind deeds, and of course loving relationships. It was thought that if a female bore a child, Adina had deemed their relationship true love. Adina was a widower of a soldier. One night while walking home, she was raped and murdered. Her ghost haunted the guilty ones, taunting them, and even causing their families to abandon them, until the point that they committed suicide. Their souls were quickly sent to Bealda. She tends to take to form of a snow leopardess.

Bealda The Wrathful: The god of darkness. Evil, cunning, ruthless, angry, and intelligent. Bealda, commands the darkness, all that can be called evil, or wicked is his doing. It's said that he once was a fisherman, a poor one at that, his anger caused him to murder all the other fishermen in his village. Thinking now he would succeed at catching some, he went out on his boat, and waited for hours, but with no luck. Once again his anger over took him, and caused him to shout at the top of his lungs, cursing the gods for his misfortune. Richard had heard enough of him, and commanded a whale to devour him. Bealda was now cursed to rule the darkness forever; the tales say he still lives in the belly of the whale. He favors aggression, war, falsehood, stealth and uncaring ambition. He tends to take the form of a wolf.

Richard The Judge: The god of justice. You will never find a more interesting god then Richard. His judgment is swift; it matters not if it's good or evil. The balance will be maintained. An eye for an eye. Richard is almost like karma, but much more brutal, he never offers second chances and never makes exceptions. You did that, so now this will be done to you. It's that simple. Protection, truth and honor. Those are what he values. It is unknown how Richard faired in life, the god of justice, has very little history surprisingly. However, one of his traits is irony; he always makes his judgments fittingly ironic, and sometimes even humorous. Police officers and city guardsmen have reported hearing the voice of a male, who claimed to be Richard, when they face peril. He tends to take the form of a canine, or griffin.

Robin The Deceiver: The god of free will. You will find very few who hold much love for Robin, as the god of free will he often presents mortals with choices that define their entire existence, and most of the time, Robin is the puppet master of a plot which will never benefit any mortal. So the choices you make may well be nothing more than a plot to destroy your neighbor, or even you. Robin was blessed by both Adam and Bealda from the moment he emerged from his mothers' belly. However as a young adult he discovered something about the gods that disturbed him. Somehow, someway, he attempted to destroy the gods, even though they had blessed him so. Ultimately he failed, and for his treachery, Adam and Bealda agreed to simply remove him from existence. This was a mistake. As soon as they chose his fate, Robin sprung a trap. The power that was used for his destruction, instead empowered him, and actually made him equal to the gods. A mortal had actually become a god, without the consent of the universe. It's said Robin still attempts to destroy the gods, (including himself) to this very day. Robin is not a friend of good or evil, he will pursue either path to advance his own interest. So do not bother with these traits to earn his favor. It's generally unknown what he favors, but quick thinking and the simple drive to never give up seem to impress him. He tends to take to form of feline entities.

Scythia The Mad: The goddess of war. Very little is known about her, but old rumors say she was once a great queen. It's unknown why she carries her title, and no one knows who or what she favors, or what mortal form she takes. But what is known is that there are still wars, so wherever ideals or peoples come together in violent conflict, surely she would be there.

Zyndel The Caring: The goddess of nature. She was a simple farm girl, brought up in the honorable way as an herbalist and schooled in the ways of medicine. She enjoyed nothing more than caring for sick warriors, and passersby. She even opened up a hospital of sorts in a barn. However, bandits set the barn alight, and killed many of the ill. They took Zyndel, hostage. After a year of being a captive and subject to the most horrid abuse, the bandit leader became deathly ill. Even now she still took care of the sick, she nursed him back to health and for her service, and the bandit leader set her free. But as she walked out of the camp, a fox approached her, it was Richard. Despite being healed by a future goddess, justice cannot be stopped; the bandit leader was quite literally turned inside out. And the others simply fled into the forest, but that was not enough to satisfy the scales of justice. So Richard commanded the stragglers to be transformed into beasts and creatures. Horrified by these actions Zyndel cried out in anger to Richard. If she wished to care for those people, so be it. At that moment, she lost her mortality, but became cursed to wonder the wilds of Osa forever. She values peace, knowledge, medicine, life, and of course nature and all its creations. She tends to take to form of a vixen.
