~Author's Note~

This Story Series may eventually have just about anything and everything you can think of wrote into it. You have been warned...

On a side note, I decided to make a dated list of what I edit of my stories, as well as when I edit them. That way everyone will know if I edited the story itself, the title of it, or just the author's note thing I put either at the beginning, or end of the stories themselves. So, if this story shows up in your watchlist even if you have already removed it after reading it, then I may have edited it in some way. Directly below this paragraph is where the date list will be. I will have the dates starting with when I originally posted this story, along with each date where I edited something within the story. Beside the date will tell you what I did that particular day.

6/2/2011 - Uploaded the Story

8/3/2014 - Added to the Author's Note, and added this dated list

As you probably already know, the characters named "Andy," "Ulric," and "Alex," are not mine, but the rest of them are. This chapter is where I hope to tie everything, or at least, almost everything in the series together. It is also where I am formally introduced, instead of just described and looked at. The past of the characters will make this chapter worthwhile. I'll put more after the chapter, so until ya get that far, enjoy the story ....

The Hitchhikers Chapter 3 - Bad Memories and The Dreadful Past

I could see myself at a desk at school. Not a single person was with me. I'd have this dream every time I slept, and during this dream, I'd watch myself cry for how lonely I was. I could recall such terrible memories, which have turned my life upside down. One particular memory would force me to think of the worst.

AT LAST! The dream was nearing its end as a tray appeared on the desk, (which brought me back to reality) telling me that dinner was ready. I breathed in deep as I cracked my eyes open. The light flooded my vision as it pierced between my eye lids. After my vision cleared and adjusted to the lights, I was face-to-face with the picture that was clutched in my left hand, (and once again), the light once filled my eyes was replaced by the tears that had haunted my thoughts from my dreadful past for so long. I snapped out of this when I heard a fork scrape against a plate. Only then did I realize that I wasn't alone at the table.

"Kathy doesn't start eating before waking me up," I thought to myself as I raised my head from my arms and put the picture of Ulric in my pocket. I finally looked up to see who was at the table with us. Sitting across from me was Kathy as she normally was when it was time to eat. I saw that there was a plate of food in front of me and her both, that they were untouched, and that she looked sad, but happy at the same time. A thought raced through my mind as I remembered what I had told her when I gave her a copy of the picture that I so desperately loved.

I heard a fork scrape against a plate again while looking at the plates in front of me and Kathy which were still untouched. Wondering who was eating since nobody eats at this part of the Flying Jay, I looked down the table and felt my heart skip a beat after seeing two people that I didn't expect to see. "A-Andy....A-Alex," I said as fresh tears began to stain my face. I could tell that Alex was glad to see me, although Andy looked as if he was shocked when I said his name. Probably because I knew that he didn't know me that well if at all. I was so happy to see them and yet sad at not seeing a third. At least, that was until I saw a plate full of food with no one sitting by it.

My sadness changed a little and my tears slowed slightly but a memory flashed in my mind constantly, forcing me to relive the past as I closed my eyes. "I wasn't s..sure if I'd ever see either of you after all th..this time," I said while desperately trying to control my stuttering. "Only time could tell what the future holds for us," Alex replied before taking another bite of what looked to be the last of his pancakes. Andy was still shocked at me knowing him and not in vice-versa. "Either your surprised that I knew ya, or freaking out for not knowing me," I told him while grinning a little. I could see that he wasn't even sure on which one he was at the moment. His jaw dropped a little, his mouth was slightly open, a slightly confused look on his face, and what could only be described as bug eyes. "He's both," Alex said as me, him, and Kathy giggled at the matter.

Andy looked towards the table and blushed, but still wondered who I was as well as how I knew him. After awhile our laughter died down and was replaced with silence. Kathy finally started eating her plate of food as Alex finished his. Andy didn't look any different than before, although his eyes weren't as big as before. I looked at the extra plate of food that I noticed earlier and a thought crossed my mind. "What's with the extra plate of food," I asked in hopes of getting an answer. Shortly after asking, Alex looked at me. I noticed that he had a grin on his face which confirmed one of my thoughts; but another thought which frightened me; quickly pushed the first thought out of my mind. Before I could think of anything else, tears had formed in my eyes. A terrible memory had wrapped its treacherous arms around me, and had me in its grasp.

By now I had tears streaming down my muzzle, (which reopened the scars from previous crying sessions). I closed my eyes, and gritted my teeth to keep my mouth shut as I tried my best not to cry in front of two people for which, I had only dreamed of seeing, and now was living such dreams. Kathy and Alex were looking at me in concern for what had brought these sudden tears to surface. "Are you ok sweety?" A voice asked me. I twitched my right ear towards the sound which had come from just behind the seat I was sitting in. "I know that voice," I thought as I opened my eyes and tilted my head down and to the right so I could glance at the side of my seat. A tear or two had fallen from my face as I swung my legs from under the table, to the side of my seat, and placed my left hand on the back edge of it as I slowly peered around the backside of the booth itself.

I'm sure I scared everyone because as soon as I saw the person who was squatted down behind the booth, I had leaped out of my seat and wrapped my arms around the person. Our bodies laid together in the floor as I hugged him tightly while he hugged me back. I couldn't believe that the person I was hugging was actually here. This person was none other than Ulric. As we hugged I could no longer control my crying. I buried my head in his warm and soft chest while balling my eyes out. My chest squeezed itself tightly as memories flooded my mind. Some good, but some that were unthinkable had surfaced. "Baby what's wrong?" Ulric asked me a bit concerned. I tried to speak, but my mouth wouldn't form, not even a single word. I closed my eyes as many tears fell from my muzzle. I was shocked that I had any tears left.

While my eyes were closed and holding Ulric tightly, I felt him sit up while still holding me close to him. He began to stand up, picking me up in the process. I put my head against his chest as he carried me towards where I was originally sitting. I could hear his heartbeat, feel his soft fur coat, and sense that he was very concerned about why I reacted the way I did. He sat down in the seat I once sat in, (with me in his lap). By now my voice could be used even though my tears didn't have an end in sight. I could sense that everyone was staring at me in slight worry. I knew that they were worried and had questions for which I had the answers, but I needed to know something first. "Do you remember what happened almost three years ago?" I asked Ulric as I pushed my head into his chest. My body shivered at just the thought of what happened.

After awhile I sat up slightly in his lap and looked up at his face desperately waiting for an answer. "I remember that you turned 19, and that I came to your school to see you....I even arranged an assembly in your gym to surprise you....but then my mind goes blank and skips to the next year," he replied as he tilted his head down and looked into my eyes. I could see the sadness in his eyes from not knowing something that he witnessed. "When you woke up....where were you....and did you find something about ya that you couldn't explain?" I asked in concern. I knew what happened and could see that he was scared for he couldn't remember the dreadful tragedy that occurred. "I woke up in a hospital....the doctors wouldn't tell me why I was there, how I got there, or how long I was there....I walked outside and found my sister waiting for me....she didn't know what happened, the doctors wouldn't tell her anything," he said before his tears hastened shortly before his next sentence. "they wouldn't even tell us if I had any injuries....while talking to her....I found out that I had been there an entire year," he finished saying while looking at me shortly before closing his eyes.

I could tell that he was frustrated, sad, upset, and confused with not knowing anything. I figured I could show em something that I knew, but he didn't. "Since you don't remember anything....then you should know about this," I said as I pressed my right hand against his left side, just below his ribcage. He yelped and widened his eyes, looked down at me, and then to my hand pressed against his soft fur. More tears had fallen from his muzzle as he just looked back at me and then to my hand. Kathy had her right hand over her mouth as she looked at us. I'm not even sure how to describe Alex and Andy's reactions but they were looking at us too. "What...i..is...th..that," Ulric asked with a shaky voice as the pain stopped. "It's the nightmare of my thoughts....and is why I've cried myself to sleep for so long," I replied as I paused and finished by saying, "I....I've thought you've been dead all this time, because of this wound....that's why I told Kathy to tell me if anyone that looked like you came through the door to let me know....she did a little more than just letting me know....and I'm glad that my fear was proven wrong." He just stared back at me and I to him. It was as if our eyes sorta connected and didn't want to move away.

We smiled at each other for a bit before hugging each other. "Now that we're together again, after all this time....do you mind telling me what happened?" Ulric asked with a slight fear in his voice. I smiled when he mentioned we were together again, but when he asked his question, I closed my eyes, looked down, and breathed out slowly. Memory upon memory flooded my mind recklessly as I tried to figure out where to start. So many things had happened and starting in the wrong place would only confuse everyone. I'm guessing that Ulric saw this because before I could even try to decide where the story should begin, he asked me if I should eat while telling them what happened. "I probably should," I replied just before he picked me up, turned me around, set me back in his lap, reached across the table to pull my plate of food in front of me, and then wrapped his arms around my waist.

I could tell that his fingers locked in each other because of how he held me, but once he rested his muzzle on my right shoulder, it was like I was in my own little world. His breath against my right ear, the warmth of his soft and cozy chest against my back, the growing rod slowly pushing into the back of my sweat pants, and the musky scent of canines flooding my nostrils sent shivers down my spine. I gasped at such scents and was blushing at that rod pushing into my back a little harder than before. "Having some fun already, I didn't know dessert came before dinner," I told Ulric as I looked back at him. I could see the evilish grin on his face.

I sighed as I glanced down a little. I could suddenly feel myself get weak. I slowly moved my right hand up and towards my plate of food. "It's a bit too low isn't it?" Ulric asked me as he helped me move my hand to the plate. I could only nod as I clutched my stomach with my left hand and my fork with my right. Everyone else looked even more worried than they were earlier. That was probably because my hands were shaking slightly, A couple tears stained my face once more, I barely could look forward, and I kept tightening my chest as I tried to dim the pain even if just a little. After getting my fork stuffed with eggs, I put the fork on one side of the piece of toast, and reached for it with my left hand. I pushed one side of the toast against the other with the fork in between the sides. After pulling the fork out from between the sides, I now had a half-sandwich, with toasted bread, and stuffed with eggs. I grasped the half-sandwich in my right hand, lifted it to my muzzle, and began eating my dinner.

The taste of the scrambled eggs as well as the shards of ham, onion, and garlic pushing their way through the soft and chewy, yet buttery bread as I swallowed slowly was very delicious, and brought back memories that even the people around me didn't know about. I suddenly could feel my strength trying to return with each bite that I took. I tightened my chest and let out small breaths of air from my lungs which were close to becoming moans as my body adjusted itself with the food. "What's wrong with him?" Kathy asked with small tears in her eyes. I could hear the worry in her voice and replied by saying "L.B.S.," shortly before my chest tightened again. "What is that?" she asked Ulric as she and everyone else could see that I was in pain. "L.B.S., also known as Low Blood Sugar, is the opposite of diabetes. But if not watched can become diabetes. When your blood sugar drops you get very tired and can even pass-out. There are several symptoms of it, but his is different than normal. For Jonwolf, he gets tired but he ends up getting stomach pains. These pains are nothing to him, but they affect him in a much worse way. It forces his Asthma to kick in, and he ends up with chest pains that can be very harsh at times," Ulric replied as a tear fell from his muzzle and landed on my right shoulder.

"So how does he control it?" she asked. "The only way he can. Watch what he eats and make sure he eats the right things when needed. To deal with his Asthma, he will tighten his chest in hopes of controlling his breathing, or use an inhaler if its too severe," he said as I ate another fork full of scrambled eggs. "What happens if he doesn't?" she asked as if a last request. "Well," he started but paused as he thought about the answer. "As his blood sugar drops, his hands would begin to shake. He would end up with stomach pains that would turn into severe chest pains....From there he would eventually pass-out, possibly go into convulsions, and if nothing is done in time to help him....He could die," Ulric said with a soft and yet sad voice. I could feel his breath on my neck as he exhaled. I knew that what he was thinking was a thought that we both didn't want to think about.

After eating almost half of my plate, I could feel myself as it normally was. Because of this, I was finally able to season the eggs how I wanted them without making a mess. "Looks like he's feeling better," Kathy said. "Ya but what is he doing?" Alex asked soon after Kathy had finished. Ulric looked down and was wondering the same thing until he noticed what I was grabbing from my right side pocket on my sweats. "Now that I'm feeling better I figured I'd season my eggs with one of my favorite seasonings," I said aloud as I sprinkled the seasoning over my eggs. The smell of lemon and pepper filled the table as I put the bottle back in my pocket and mixed my food together. Before taking a bite I glanced over towards Andy and noticed him staring at my food with a confused look on his face. After realizing what he was actually staring at, I grabbed the unmarked seasoning bottle from my pocket and tossed it to Andy. "Just make sure you mix it well. Too much seasoning all at once doesn't taste right at all," I told him as I took another bite of my eggs.

Andy stared at the bottle for awhile until he realized that Alex was staring at him. "What?" Andy asked wondering why Alex was staring. "You're curious enough to want to try the seasoning, but not enough to open it so you can try it," Alex replied with a goofy grin on his face. Andy glanced at the bottle shortly before unscrewing the lid and sprinkling it across his food. His nose twitched as the strong aroma from the seasoning surrounded him. After mixing up his food he was finally able to try the seasoning. As he took a bite of his food, he could taste the sweet and tangy flavor of lemon, the spiciness of pepper, the greatness of the food itself, and something else that he couldn't quite figure out. "What is this called?" he asked me as he took another bite. "Lemon and pepper seasoning salt is its name. Goes well with many foods while some foods are a very bad idea to mix it with," I replied as I finished my plate, pushed it aside, and grabbed my drink from the table with my left arm resting upon it.

I could tell that Andy liked the seasoning as he took each bite. As I slowly gulped down my drink, I realized that with my blood sugar up and everyone somewhat happy, that I was ready to reveal that tragedy from my past. A tear started its way down my muzzle as memories filled my mind before I said, "This is a long but short story....but it might as well be said now." It was then that I realized that all eyes were on me as I opened my mouth to begin the story.

*********************************************************** Almost 3 years ago ***********************************************************

I woke-up one morning to my cell phone that I used as an alarm clock as it pounded against my eardrums. I could feel the tiredness of the night before overcome me more than it normally did, as I felt the chilling air from outside flow across me from the cracked window beside my bed. I loved the cold, and even positioned my bed so that the window was right behind my head when I slept. I loved it when the air would flow across my face. It was only when it snowed or in the morning of a day such as this that the cold air was too much to bare. After turning off my alarm, I got out of bed and got ready for school. I think I was still half-asleep because I don't remember what I actually did to get ready, until I looked into the mirror in the bathroom, which, lucky for me, (since my room was placed right next to the bathroom) wasn't long after getting out of bed. I looked myself over and thought I was perfect for what was supposed to happen today. I had on a bright blue dragon shirt, some navy blue sweat pants, a brown crest hoodie, some black slip-on shoes, a watch, and my remembrance pendant. As you can tell, my clothes didn't match very well. I didn't care though. Its not like I tried to match when I got dressed anyway.

For today though, I just needed the day to go by fast, but slow down for the assembly. I knew there was something special about the assembly at the school today, but I wasn't sure on why or how I knew this. After grabbing my bags for school, I walked into the dining room. My parents were already at work, (as usual) but my little sister, Angel, was waiting for me. She is a petite, off-white-colored, arctic wolf. "Its time to go," she said as she turned off the TV and grabbed her school stuff. As it was every morning, she would watch a show called "Charmed" as she waited for us to go to school. Anyway, I followed her out the front door shortly before she closed it behind us. The air outside was very chilled since it was early spring. It didn't take long to get to school today since we had a ride. Our ride was one of our next-door neighbors.

After reaching the school, we were dropped off. We only had to wait a couple of minutes before the bell to first hour rang, seeing as I didn't get up on time, yet again. "I must have slept an extra 10 minutes before waking up again," I thought to myself as I entered the school. My little sister was already heading to class as I headed to an empty room. This room is known as the ISI room. ISI, A.K.A., In School Isolation, is one of the forms of punishment that the school used for those that broke the rules. Then again, I wasn't in ISI, and I wasn't in trouble at all. Its just a room I went to during first, second, third, and seventh hours of school. I had done a program to help pass the first two hours and I'm passing the other two hours on half-credits. Because of this, I don't have anything to do until fourth, fifth, and sixth hours of school. It's been like this since the middle of March, since that's when I finished the program. I loved it because I had free-time. The downside to it was that the day, (most of the time) went by slowly.

Today seemed to be one of those days as I sat in a desk, eagerly waiting for it to be fourth hour. All I could hear was my watch, ticking away, as each second passed by. It seemed as if the ticking grew louder with each second that passed for how quiet it was in the room. Suddenly, a bell rang over the intercom, and a female's voice echoed through the room as well as the rest of the school. "Good morning teachers and students. As a reminder, today we will be having an assembly in the gym during fifth hour. Until then, have a nice day," the voice said before the intercom turned off. I couldn't wait for fifth hour after hearing the announcement but had to.

How quickly the time seemed to go by only got worse after that. After what seemed like an eternity as each bell rang, the bell to fourth hour had finally arrived. I had grabbed my things and began walking to my next class soon after hearing the bell. I passed several people while walking to class. I guess I forgot how long the walk to this class always, was because when I looked up, I was only halfway there. It seemed as if it was always like this, until I finally got to class. When I did get there, I was finally able to sit down. It wasn't a day of assignments though. Because of this, and with this class being an FFA class, or AG as we called it, I ended up just going into the shop. I was normally the person that organized the tools and was even called, "The Tool Man."

The tool room was always the first thing to clean up. Seems like people never could understand the phrase, "If you got it out, you put it back." After the room was straightened up and the shop looked better, I checked my watch. I realized that class was almost over and that time had flown by. I decided to wait at one of the tables in the class room. This was because I had no work to do, the bell to lunch was about to ring, and this class didn't have actual desks. I didn't mind though. As I waited for the bell to ring, it was as if the clock had stopped or was barely moving at all. That was when I figured it out. "This was the same feeling as in the first three hours of school," I thought to myself to get my mind off of the clock somewhat. I was wondering when the bell would actually ring when it suddenly rang. I checked my watch again and saw that my mind-trick had worked.

As I left class for lunch along with some of my fellow students, I thought about what the assembly might be about. The only sports going on around this time was baseball, weightlifting, and track, but we don't have assemblies for them. Pep assemblies are used for both basketball and football but only for homecoming. On occasion would we actually use them for the ending of a season. The only thing left to do was to find-out at the assembly itself. As I walked into the Cafeteria, or the lunch room, (as some of us called it) I could smell the food, and couldn't wait to eat it. With today being Friday, the food isn't normally the best as it normally was on Wednesday. I didn't mind the food no matter what day it was but hearing everyone around me gripe about it got annoying after awhile.

After going through the lunch-line and sitting at the table, I glanced at the lunch-line, (which had grown since I got out of it) for my little sister. Even though I always got my lunch a few or so minutes before her, we always sat together for lunch. After finding her in the line, I finally looked down at my tray of food to see what I actually had for lunch. I grinned as to see we had a good lunch than normally. I had a cheeseburger, a small bag of Cheetos, an orange slice, a chocolate-chip cookie, and some chocolate milk. Normally I would have got something from the salad bar, (which I loved to eat the most at school) but they didn't have it today. This would be a mix of cherry cool-whip, shredded cherries, grapes, chopped pineapples, sometimes pecans, and sometimes chopped pears.

Anyway, I was almost done with my lunch by the time Angel sat beside me. "How was your day?" I asked her as she began eating. "A bit boring but alright I guess. First hour I did a quiz, second hour we finished watching, "The Pacifier," third hour I did a test, and fourth hour we did another section of our book so ya, that was my day," she replied as she took another bite of her salad. It seemed like she always had salad with her lunch, (that is, as long as they prepared the salad bar). Sometimes they either didn't have time to do it, or didn't have the food for it. "That's all uh, I'd say that's a boring but busy day," I said before drinking the last of my chocolate milk. Angel finished her food shortly after but not before saying, "I'd say it was just boring."

After we got up, we threw our trays away and walked towards the Elementary Hallway. I checked my watch to find that there was still five minutes before the bell for fifth hour would ring. We passed through some glass doors and found ourselves staring at a basketball court, some pavilions, an open field, and a messed-up volleyball net. What we saw was known as the high school playground. With me being a senior, and my little sister being a sophomore, that's the right direction for us. Only difference was that we always go to the high school building, and either sit or stand outside the side-doors. We didn't wait that long as the bell rang as soon as we got to them.

While sitting in my fifth hour classroom, (eagerly waiting for the intercoms bell) I saw that Angel couldn't wait for the bell either. Time seemed to stand still as I could hear everything in the room. It was so quiet compared to (this) hour's normal. You could probably hear a pen drop for how quiet it was. I checked my watch to see what part of fifth hour it was and was scared for a little bit. This was because my watch wasn't moving at all. For a few seconds or so I actually thought time had stopped. After putting my watch in one of my bags, (since it didn't work anymore) I started waiting for the intercom's bell some more. I was thinking about why they couldn't make waterproof watches the way they use to whenever the intercom's bell rang. "Good afternoon teachers and students. You may now be released to go to the assembly," that same voice from this morning told us. Soon after the intercom turned off, we all stood up, and walked out of the room.

Class after class began to fill the hallway. It wasn't long before we were back outside and heading to the Elementary Building. After walking about halfway past the Elementary Building, we were lead through a door that lead to the gym. As we walked through the hallway, we could see a large trophy case for sports trophies, and class pictures of those that have graduated in the past all along the top of the walls. As I walked down the hall, I quickly glanced at two picture frames that contained the photos of my two older sisters, as well as the rest of their class that graduated with them. It had been several years since they graduated, and yet I remember it as if it were yesterday.

Anyway, as we walked, we came to another hallway. This hallway is where they split the grades to enter the gym in different places. As we split and entered the gym, the elementary was placed on the north side of the gym, and the high school on the south side. We were always placed like this. Even when I was in kindergarten, we were placed like this. I looked for a seat a bit different than normal. I'd normally sit on the top row of the bleachers, but with the thought of this assembly being special somehow, I figured that I should sit on the second row for once. I ended up sitting right beside the announcement stand so I could see a large portion of the gym.

Several minutes went by before the last of the students sat down. Now that the assembly could start, I could finally find out what it was for. A loud shriek came out of the speakers above the stage as the microphone turned on. "I guess they still haven't fixed the wireless system yet," I thought to myself. As soon as that was fixed, a voice came through the speakers. I may not have known the voice but when the person walked onto the court from beside the stage, I knew exactly who he was. It was Ulric who talked through the speakers as he walked towards the center of the court, (which was right in front of where I was sitting).

This was the first time I had seen Ulric in real life, instead of just on the web. "Good afternoon everyone. I've talked with the school to give you at least, (one) day of freedom before you start studying hard to either test out to your next grade, or finish the year to graduate. My name is Ulric and someone I know at this school will help me start this small day of fun," he said as he got to the center of the court. I noticed that he was searching the crowd on the high school side of the gym. To speed this up a little, I decided to stand up. As I stood up I could tell that several people were staring at me. I could handle this, but I hopped that one particular person didn't figure-out anything between me and Ulric.

As soon as I was standing, he saw me, and motioned for me to go towards him. I jumped off of the bleachers and was grinning as I walked towards him. He was grinning as well as he stepped towards me. We extended our right hands towards each other and connected them as we brought each other into a warm embrace with our left hands around each other's backs. "What's up me friend?" I asked in just above a whisper since I was shocked to see him at my school. "Not much actually. I wanted to surprise you along with the rest of the school with a partial day of fun. Looks like its working too," he replied just above a whisper. For the most part, only we could hear each other. I think someone else was listening to us, or possibly reading our lips though. And it just so happened to be the one person I didn't want hearing us. Before anything else could be said or done, this person was right next to us.

As I turned my head towards the person next to me, my ears were compressed by a terrible, high-shrieked, scream. I quickly looked at Ulric and saw the person standing right next to him. Her name, is Esby, and she is a beautiful cougar with burnt-orange fur. She is one of my ex's, and hated me for not taking her back as my girlfriend, (a fifth time). I could say more on that, but right now, she had a knife in her hand, and the knife inside of Ulric. The knife was just below Ulric's ribcage. Blood oozed from Ulric's belly as she pulled the knife out of him. I'm not sure what happened exactly but as she started to push the knife towards Ulric to stab him again, my body overrode my mind and acted on instinct and emotion.

Energy filled my body as the top of my right hand pushed up on the bottom of her right hand, (which contained the knife). Within seconds of doing this, I had grabbed her wrist, pushed down on her elbow, and pulled up on her wrist. It was then that I realized that I had sprained her wrist, bruised her arm, and completely shattered her elbow. The knife had fallen to the gym floor and she was disabled, but I couldn't stop my body from releasing the anger I had towards her for what she had done to me over the last ten years. By the time I was finally able to stop myself; tears rolled down my face, Esby was lying unconscious on the ground, and everyone was staring at me. Everyone knew that what I had done was something I could never do, unless my temper had flipped. They also knew that I'd either have to be in a life-threatening situation, or go through extremely emotional stress for my temper to flip at all.

That was when I glanced towards Ulric. My breathing was harder, because my chest tightened every little bit, and coming off of my adrenaline rush wasn't helping. I walked towards Ulric, took a knee beside him, and checked his pulse. I felt a pulse and was slightly relieved because he was alive. At least, that was until I looked at his wound. I hopped over his body, and put pressure on his wound. I looked up at the teachers lined up along the wall, and told them with sadness in my voice, "call an ambulance!" All of the teachers looked at me, and then to each other. I noticed that a few teachers weren't in the gym because they weren't at the school today. Those that were here kept staring until one of them said, "sorry, but we don't help your kind here." I couldn't believe she actually would say such a thing, (especially to a high school senior student).

By the way that everyone stared at me, I knew that everyone in the gym had figured out my reasons for doing what I did, and that Ulric was my boyfriend, (which made him very precious to me). Because of this, I knew I had to choose my words very carefully so I'd get my point across. I couldn't think of anything at the moment, so I looked towards the high school bleachers. I saw Angel, staring at me with her left hand over her mouth. As soon as I noticed a few tears that had fallen from her muzzle, an ideal choice came to mind. I looked toward the teachers and said, (with anger, sadness, and reassurance in my voice) "if my kind consists of many just because we're not straight, then so-be-it. But you will call the ambulance, or the each of you gets sued." "Are you threatening us?" several of them asked at the same time. "If he dies, then it becomes a promise," I replied a little happier than before. I knew that if I couldn't have my boyfriend, then I'd at least make them pay.

Sometime after that, an ambulance parked outside, and some people in uniforms came in. They put Ulric on a stretcher and went back to their vehicle. I could hear their siren as they drove down the road. As I walked towards my seat, I looked over my right shoulder and realized something I should have seen. "So you called fake paramedics huh, I wonder what hospital he's actually going to," I said as I sat in my seat. "How would you know that?" one of the teachers asked. "Because their uniforms and the ambulance itself didn't say what town they were from, as well as the fact that real paramedics would have grabbed Esby before leaving. Those guys only knew the basics of being a paramedic," I said before grabbing my bags and finishing by saying, "it may take a long time, but if he's alive then I'll find him eventually." "Good luck," one of the teachers replied which sent an eerie chill down my spine. They knew by my choice of words that I was very intelligent and that I'd probably find him eventually, but they didn't want me to know that.

School was let out soon after this happened now that the gym, (which was covered with Ulric's blood) needed cleaned. I felt sorry for the elementary kids since they saw everything that happened. "So much for a partial day of fun," I thought to myself as I walked home with my little sister. Far as I know, Esby was sent to the hospital in Guthrie after her family griped out the school for not doing anything for their daughter. After the school had mentioned to Esby's family about what I'd do if certain things happened, as well as what I was capable of. They realized one thing and made an agreement. What they realized was that telling my family what I did without saying of why I did what I did, didn't go against my words towards them. The agreement was that the school would handle it, and would let Esby's family know what happens between me and my family. Since my dad didn't like or even care for people that weren't straight; this could become a nightmare for me. What they didn't know was that I made sure there was a loophole in my words. I needed this so that as soon as they thought they won, I'd have a chance to make it backfire against them. I'd need to find Ulric first, but I wasn't even sure if he was alive or not.

I decided not to think about it. I knew they would probably tell my family anyway because of school policy, but I didn't really care at this point. The only thing that was going through my mind at the moment was, "is Ulric alright?" "where did they take him?" "what will my little sister think of me now?" and "how will my mom react to all this?" These questions kept going through my mind until I couldn't think of them any longer. While sitting in a chair at home, I kept glancing at my little sister, who sat on the couch after getting home. She had said not one word to me since lunchtime. Not even during the walk home, (which made it a very quiet walk).

After awhile I got tired of the silence and said, "Angel....I'm sorry about what you saw at school today." A tear had fallen from my muzzle when I said it. She looked up and towards me. I'm not sure how to describe her face exactly but I could see that she had shed a few tears while thinking about what happened. "Don't be sorry about that. That bitch deserved what she got after what she did to you," she replied with a little sadness and courage in her voice. I knew she meant what she said when she cussed, since its something you'd never catch her doing. I smirked a little and she grinned shortly before I asked, "then why were you crying?" "Seeing what you did to Esby reminded me of the times that I broke my arms....where did you learn that move anyway?" she replied as well as asked. "I've learned a lot from different videos on the web as well as the various comics that I've read....anyway, what do think about what happened at school?" I asked; doing the same thing that she did to me. She tilted her head down and looked at the floor. I guess she was just as upset and confused as I was because of the look on her face.

When she looked up at me, she asked, "was that really Ulric?" "Ya," I replied as I tilted my head down. "Yall didn't deserve what happened....I'm still shocked that those teachers said such things to ya....and even more surprised that Esby would do such a thing," she said with a little sadness in her voice. I could tell that she was concerned, as well as upset about everything. We both knew that once everyone found out about me, our family would find out. And since the entire school knew, it was only a matter of time before it happened. "What about dad though....you know what he'd probably think, as well as a few things that he might do because of it," she told me with worry in her voice and sadness on her face. I knew she was right and that I'd need a plan on what I'd do if things went wrong.

I thought for awhile before an idea popped in my head. I knew I couldn't tell anyone the idea until the time was right. Part of the idea involved her doing something, (so obviously) I'd have to tell her that part of my idea without giving away everything. "When mom gets home I'll tell her what I need her to do if things go wrong. As for you though, when dad gets home, sneak upstairs. You might or might not hear yelling but if you hear the front door open and see me outside, there are some things I'll need you to toss down to me. First off, do ya remember where that huge pillow is?" I asked her in hopes that she would know where it was.

After a bit she went to another room. When she came back, she had the pillow in her arms. The pillow was about a good three in a half feet long, and at least a foot thick. After she sat down, I went to my room to get some stuff. When I came back with a bunch of stuff, Angel was surprised at what I had grabbed. I put the stuff in the floor so I could put everything together. Just by looking at the stuff, Angel figured out what part of my plan was. I opened the pillow case that encased the huge pillow and started putting stuff in it. The first thing to go in the case was a blue, mini-maglite. From there I put some nature valley bars, some fleece blankets, a key, and a device that the key went to, into the pillow case.

Once I was finished, I wrapped the pillow, along with my digimon pillow, inside of my favorite blanket. I locked the pillow in place with two bungee cords and made sure nothing would come loose. "Ok, now that that's done," I said before looking at my little sister, "Angel, if ya see me outside, I'll need ya to toss this as hard as you can out your window towards me." I could tell she was sad at what would've happened downstairs if she had to do this. "Will you come back?" she asked as a tear began its journey, down her white and fuzzy muzzle. "I'll explain everything when mom gets home. Until then, can you put this by your window?" I asked as I pointed at the blanket that now encased my stuff. Angel simply nodded as she got up, grabbed the blanket by one of the bungee cords, and made her way up the stairs. I turned on the TV to try to catch tonight's forecast.

Angel had just got back from upstairs when the weatherman started telling the forecast. It was then that a chill ran down my spine when I saw the temperatures predicted for tonight. Tonight was to be the last major drop before spring was to become our rainy season. Angel looked at the TV and then to me with a scared look on her face. I'm guessin she saw the number twenty-three just as I did. "Well, this will be fun," I thought to myself sarcastically as I turned off the TV, sat down, and eagerly waited for mom to get home. It was around three-thirty or so by the time mom got home. Since she gets off work at two and it takes between thirty and fifty or so minutes to get here, all I could think of was that the school had talked to her. The only thing that came to mind was a question that needed an answer. "What did they actually tell her?" was the question in my thoughts.

I was thinking of this question when she walked up to the front door after she had parked in the driveway. My mother's name is Louise, and she is an arctic wolf just like my little sister, except, instead of being all white, she had Prussian blue tipped fur around all of her joints. She is where I got part of my fur color, part of my bone structure, my species, and my good looks. I even got my eyes from her. As she walked into the room, I could see the upset, shocked, and yet sad look in her eyes. She walked through the room and put up her stuff. She always had a bunch of stuff in her arms when she got home from work. After putting her stuff up, she sat next to Angel on the couch. Both me and Angel were wondering what she would do from here, since we didn't know what the school had actually told her.

After awhile she looked towards the VCR, (which told her how much time we had to talk before dad would come home). Normally he wouldn't come home until very late at night since he always hung out with his friends, but if the school talked to mom, then they would have talked to dad as well. We all knew there was a chance that he'd head home directly because of it, and that temper of his would be interesting to talk through. Louise took a deep breath and looked up at me before asking me, "so what really happened?" She is very smart about many things and knew that how the school said what had happened would probably be a lie. She knew if she asked me a question, that I'd try my best to answer, (no matter what the question was about) whether I wanted to talk about it, or not. This is probably a curse of mine, but its there nonetheless. I inhaled deeply after receiving her question, and looked at the VCR, (which showed 3:40pm) to see how much time I had to tell her everything.

Soon after, I began to tell her everything that had happened earlier today. I tried my best to describe everything in as much detail as I could, but sometimes things don't have a description. Every now and then she would look over at Angel and get each part of my story in her point of view. This way, everything would be covered, and anything left out would be brought up, as well as explained.

After me and Angel were done telling mom everything we could think of from what happened, we stared at mom and eagerly waited for her response. The response we got wasn't one that we expected though. "If the school tells your father exactly the same thing they told me, his temper will get the best of him....I think he'd be more shocked about everything to be able to try and harm you, but until he is told the truth, there is no telling what he'd actually do," Louise said as a tear fell from her muzzle. "I thought of a plan that should work....but the second part of it will be the most difficult," I said with sadness in my voice. We all knew what would probably happen and that I'd have to fix it somehow. "What plan might that be?" mom asked me. I could tell that she was worried about me. She was always like this when something happened. I don't blame her though. Even I was a little worried seeing as I knew that the first part of my plan would go as planned, but the second part could end very wrong if dad didn't understand, or much less attempt to understand.

As I thought of my plan in several different angles, I began telling my plan to my mom and little sister. "It took awhile to think of everything but I did. We all know that the only thing that needs planned, is that if the worst would happen. I thought of the first half just after school. I had Angel help a little to gather some stuff. If dad kicks me out, I'll need some stuff which is already packed," I told her as to see if she understood me so far. "Did you grab a thermometer?" she asked as to say I forgot something. She knew that tonight was the drop, and that I'd need to know how cold it is outside. I smiled a little as I said, "that would be the one thing I forgot." She got up and returned shortly with an outside thermometer. She handed it to me before she sat back down on the couch. I gave it to Angel since she knew where my stuff was. "Anyway, if I do get kicked out, I know where I can go for the night. Once dad goes somewhere with one of his friends as he always does, I'll be able to come back and explain what I'll try and do," I said as I finished saying the first half of my plan.

Angel was just listening in on what I was saying, but mom was thinking of how the plan could work. She knew that if it wasn't precise, that it would be a disaster. She had just one question to ask about all this. I always thought Angel would be the one with the question, but that wasn't the case this time. "So, what do ya need us to do?" Louise asked. I could tell that she didn't want me to go anywhere, or for anything to happen to me. "I told Angel if things went bad, that I'd need her to go upstairs, and the instant she hears the front door open, as well as see me outside, to throw my stuff as hard as she can outside her window and across the porch awning," I told my mother to see what she thought about it. I didn't expect her answer to be quite so calm though. "Sounds good so far....but what about me?" she asked to see what her part in the plan was. She was very calm with Angel's part, so I wondered what her response to her part would be. "What I need ya to do," I started as Angel listened in a little better by turning her ears toward me, "is play along as if your on dad's side, until he leaves to go somewhere with his friends." I wasn't sure if she could do it or not, but I knew I'd need her to try. "As long as you come back," she replied with a serious tone in her voice. "I will....as soon as he leaves to go somewhere," I replied as I reassured her of how this part of my plan would work. I knew that everything I did would be a one shot thing because of how my dad was with things. Me and my mom both stood up and then hugged each other. We both knew that we'd need each other until this was all sorted out. While we were hugging, Angel decided to put the thermometer that I gave her earlier with my stuff upstairs. That way everything was ready when the shit hit the fan, "in a matter of speaking that is).

It was around eleven at night by the time dad got home. This was normal for him anyway. Sometimes he came in even later. Anyway, as he walked through the front door, I could tell that he'd had at least a few beers. Alcohol was a smell I never could get used to, as well as one I couldn't stand. My dad's name is Delmar, and he is probably the most ferocious fox you could ever see. This is because his fur is pitch-black colored, and had an arsenic-gray color that shined off the tips of each individual stand of his fur, (in which it covered). I never knew how he acquired that color, or much less how my mother acquired such a shade of blue to cover the tips of her fur in such a pattern that it had. He was where I got the rest of my coloring, full body structure, and a few other things.

After coming through the door, he put his coffee cup and thermos on the heater in the front-room. From here he hung-up a couple uniforms that he had in his hands, in his bedroom. It wasn't until he turned around and saw me that everything between me and him started. From that moment on, my plan was put into motion. It was as if our eyes connected the instant we looked at each other. I could see the anger in his eyes and a disgusted look on his face. I barely could look at him, but I knew I had to. I knew that this part of my plan had to be perfect. Otherwise I'd lose my chance on getting him to understand at all, which would've been the worst that could have happened at this particular time. Neither me, nor my mom would have wanted things to go in that direction at all. I know for a fact that Angel didn't want it to be like that either.

From here I decided to start my plan and hope for the best. "Will you give me the chance to explain what really happened, as well as why it happened?" I asked in hopes of him staying as himself. This wasn't the case though. "What's to explain; That my only son is gay, that he secretly had a boyfriend, beat the crap out of some girl for no real reason, threatened the schools teachers just to get your way, lied to everyone around you, and have betrayed God in the process," he replied. I could practically feel his hatred towards me in his voice. As you can see, he said the word God. Dad tries to act like a very religious Christian every now and then, even though he wasn't; its probably because of how he was raised but I'm not entirely sure.

I thought about his words and realized that mom was right. His temper had taken him over, and I wouldn't be able to get through to him until he calmed down a little. "Only part of that is actually true," I told him. I hoped that he'd try to listen, but I knew that tonight wouldn't be that particular day of understanding. "And what part might that be?" he asked. A chill went down my spine as I braced for what his response to my next sentence might be. I could feel the vibrations in the floor as Angel went upstairs. She knew what was about to happen, and wanted to be in position when it did. Mom was about two or so feet in front of me, and looked a little sad. She knew what was coming when she noticed Angel going up the stairs. "The part where ya said that I had a boyfriend, only the correct word is have; not had," I finally replied to him. I didn't expect it, but his response was exactly what I thought it'd be. "Get out of this house, and out of my sight," he said with a growl in his voice. As soon as he said it, I began walking for the front door.

As I passed my mother, I whispered to her that it'd be ok. I did this in a way that only she could hear me. If my father heard what I told her, there's no telling what he would've done. The instant I grabbed the handle to the door, I could feel the coldness of outside quickly fill my hand. The inner door to the house closed behind me as I closed the outside door. I guess dad didn't want to see me and was probably going straight to bed. When his blood sugar drops, he normally grabs a snack, and then slept. After all this, there was no tellin how low his blood sugar was, or how long he'd sleep because of it. I knew this would be an interesting night as I stepped off the porch. When I turned around to look at my little sister's window, the only thing I could see was a blanket full of stuff hit my chest. I glanced at her window shortly after, and saw her waving at me. I could tell she was sad, but that she knew I'd be alright. I waved back as I started walking down the sidewalk.

"So far, everything is going as planned," I thought as I heard Angel's window close while walking from the sidewalk, down into the road. When I glanced back at her window, I saw that it was closed, and covered by curtains. I grinned as I remembered that she didn't like the cold. She'd rather be warm just like mom compared to chilling temperatures, (which I loved). It was only when it got too cold that I wanted to be warm. As I walked east down the street we lived on, I came to a stop sign, and an intersection. I stepped off the street beside the stop sign, and went a few feet south. A place I hadn't been to since I was eight or so years old, was now right in front of me. It was a water drain that was positioned east, and west, under the road that crossed the one we lived on. I set my stuff on the ground next to the drain, and got on my knees. A sudden wind gust sent shivers through my body as I unhooked the bungee cords, (which wrapped what I needed for the night together.

I realized that it was slightly colder than normal, and decided to look at the thermometer that mom had given me. It said it was 20°F. This scared me a little when a thought went through my mind. "The temperature drops at night, and keeps dropping until around six in the morning. The coldest is between six and seven in the morning, and won't warm up at all until at least 7:30," I thought to myself as I separated my stuff. I realized that the TV was wrong, and that it could easily end up below 10°F tonight. Add the wind to it and ya end up with bone-chilling temperatures, and ice on the ground instead of the heavy dew we got each morning.

After I separated my stuff, I looked at the drain's entrance. It was round, dark, damp, and had a sharp edge. Its appearance is very similar to that of a pipe. Then again, that's all drains were. Just pipes in the ground to help navigate where the water needs to go. The first thing I grabbed was my blue, mini-maglite. I turned the end of it so I could see, and grabbed the huge pillow. I pushed the pillow into the drain until it was about seven or so feet into the pipe. After making sure it blocked off the rest of the pipe, I grabbed the extra fleece blankets. The drain pipe had a rough texture to it and a rippled style bent into it. This was to help keep the drain from moving, but it didn't give comfort in any way. Then again, they aren't made to be slept in. To get the rough-ripple effect out of the drain, I put the blankets on the bottom of it. It worked just as I thought it would.

Now that the drain was flat, I could get in it. Once I was in, I grabbed my digimon pillow and adjusted it towards the edge of the pipe. I put the nature valley bars beside it, and arranged my favorite blanket on top of me. What I had to do next was interesting. The device I grabbed was an idea I had. I never thought about actually making the idea a reality, (until I was given the chance). That's another story though, so let's move on shall we. The device can be fitted with just about any kind of lock you can think of. This particular one was my prototype, (so obviously I chose a regular keyed lock). I took the key, put it in one of the keyholes, and began turning it in a counterclockwise direction. As I turned it, several thick but flexible wire rods, began to come out of the sides of the device. As soon as they were tight against one of the ripples of the drain pipe, I turned a knob just above the key. By doing this, the rods were now locked in place. I took the key out and put it in the keyhole next to the first one. When I turned the key in a clockwise direction, the knob that locked the rods in place, was now locked in place. I was hoping the device would keep stuff from getting into my side of the pipe. I never could think of a name for this device so its an unknown item for now.

After locking it, I took the key out and clipped it to a swivel-clip on my remembrance pendant. That way I wouldn't lose it. Now that everything, including myself was inside the drain pipe, (except for the bungee cords, which didn't have to be in here with me) I could finally cover up with my favorite blanket and get some sleep. At least, that was until I realized that I wasn't tired. I've had problems sleeping since I was in Elementary school. Its like I couldn't relax long enough to fall asleep. I discovered something around the same time this started that helped me get to sleep. Turns out that to go to sleep; I'd just need to be exhausted. You'd think that having L.B.S. would make sleeping easy, but that wasn't the case for me. I could handle my sugar fairly well compared to the rest of my family. What I discovered fixed my dilemma. It would always exhaust me enough so I could sleep. Not to mention that the feeling from it was an added bonus.

As I laid against the fleece blankets below me, I could feel the coldness of the night getting worse. The windy and frigid air cooled everything around me. The only thing keeping the chill from reaching me was my favorite blanket. I knew I'd be up all night if I didn't exhaust myself, (as I have almost every night since I discovered it). I couldn't even remember when I actually discovered what I did or much less, "how" I discovered it. All I knew was that I'd be able to sleep, I'd be warmer than before, and the cold wouldn't be an issue anymore. I began to breathe heavier than before as I brought my right middle finger to my mouth. I slowly sucked on my finger as I soaked it in my spit.

After it was fully soaked, I pulled it from my mouth, and reached for my sweat pants. A single strand of saliva connected my finger to my mouth, shortly before lowering to my shirt. I lifted my sweat pants away from my body with my left hand, and put my right hand down them soon after. After releasing my sweat pants, I could feel the tenseness of my fur, the small amount of heat radiating from my body, and the rough and yet smooth texture of my under-shorts.

Yes, you heard that right. I've realized over the years that underwear is very tight against my waist, and that boxers may be better fitting, but the material there made with isn't any better. I decided to try shorts as a replacement, and since then I've wore two shorts with whatever I wear.

As I slid my hand further down my shorts, I flattened myself under the blanket. I could already feel the intensity of tonight's; "much needed" exhausting release, (yet to come). When I finally reached my sheath, I began rubbing the spit on my middle digit, against its tip. I sighed heavily the instant I touched the tip of my sheath. I could already feel the tension of my body, vanishing from its confines. As soon as my tip was slick enough, I pushed my digit into my sheath, (until my knuckle was at its entrance). I could already feel my member enlarging as I twirled my digit around it, deep within my sheath. The warmth, slickness, and rough texture of my sheath was intoxicating. I could feel my body heating up as my member grew. The inside of my sheath became slicker and yet tighter as it grew in size.

When my member was just about to make an appearance from my sheath, I pulled out my digit. I suddenly breathed in quickly as I wrapped my hand around my sheath, and began to push and pull it up and down my growing shaft. My breathing had already deepened as I slowly sped up my pace. I squeezed every now and then, since I could already feel my knot growing in size. Its hunger for release was intensifying with each second that passed. I kept fapping away as my climax grew closer and closer. I knew I wouldn't last much longer at this rate. I wanted it to last as long as possible, so I slowed down slightly and pushed my growing climax aside in the process. As its hunger slowly melted away, I calmed myself to almost a stop.

By now I could feel pre practically oozing from my tip. I didn't give myself much time to wait before I pushed my sheath down hard. I almost climaxed the instant my sheath pulled past my knot, and was forced to grit my teeth for how intense of a feeling it gave me. Shortly after, I pressed against the bottom of my shaft, (just above my knot) and pushed all the way to my tip, milking my shaft of any pre it had in the process. The instant I reached my tip, I rubbed my thumb against it, so I could collect all of my built up pre. I smeared my pre along the palm of my hand so I could begin the next part. My member softened slightly as I did this, but I'd fix that in a sec. I put my trigger at my tip and petted down the bottom of my shaft shortly before encasing above my knot, and pulling up soon after. I began to work my member slowly, and efficiently.

My member grew to its full six inches in no time, as I relished in my self-pleasure. I could feel my climax return with a vengeance, as it quickly grew close to bursting passed my control. The over-stretched and slimy feeling of my member, the bounce of fapping every time I tapped my knot, the length of my shaft as I pulled my hand up, and the sensitivity of my slightly curled tip as I rubbed against it before pushing back down my shaft, was all I normally needed to reach my release. I figured I'd go further tonight though. My climax was ready and my member was loaded. All I needed was a trigger to set it off. I knew just the thing to do it as I slid back down my shaft. I gripped with my thumb and trigger finger, moved my last three fingers outward, and the instant my last three fingers were around my knot with my first two fingers just about it; I squeezed. That squeeze sent me over the edge instantly. I gasped heavily as my member shot its load, (one rope at a time) against my shorts. The feeling of my member pulse with each shot was intoxicating.

My member stopped pulsing after awhile, but my breathing didn't change. I brought my hand from my shorts, to my mouth, as I relished in my afterglow. I could smell my musk as I licked my hand clean. The tangy and saltiness of my cum's taste sent shivers down my spine. I sighed heavily and looked outside with my head against my pillow. The last thing I remember was looking up at the beautiful bluish moon in the sky.

I must have fallen asleep after that because I had sunlight in my eyes. The extremely chilled air told me it was after six, but wasn't near seven just yet. I yawned and rubbed the sleep from my eyes before rolling over. When I was rolled enough so that I was laying on my chest, I put my arms on my pillow, and my chin on my arms. I could tell that dad hadn't left yet since his small white pickup was still parked. Since the cold was the only reason I woke up, I figured I'd go ahead and eat breakfast. Normally I'd skip breakfast and go straight to brunch, (since I'm normally still asleep) but I needed to know when dad left to go somewhere. I glanced over at the nature valley bars I had and decided that honey & oat would be good for now. When I ripped open the green wrapping, I could smell the deliciousness in the snack. Even the taste melted my thoughts away with each bite that I took. The downfall was that after so many bites, the snack suddenly vanished. "At least it was good while it lasted," I thought to myself as I looked at the house I once lived in.

I wondered how long I'd have to wait before my dad would go somewhere. He normally gets up late so I wasn't sure. As I laid in the pipe, I could feel the air start to heat up, as the sun rose in the sky. I could hear birds singing outside as time went by. I wondered what time it was. I figured I left my watch in my room, 'cuz I couldn't find it anywhere. I could feel the hours go by as I waited for the moment I could go home. I could hear some people moving around as the town began to wake up. I thought it was a bit creepy as a few vehicles crossed over the pipe I was in. The vibrations that went through the pipe made it seem as if the pipe itself was moving. Not the feeling I needed though. I realized I had to pee because of it. "I got to pee but can't until dad leaves....figures," I thought as I stared at our house. It seemed to take forever for time to go by. I laid in the pipe, "in agony" as I waited.

I could smell something getting closer as the scent hung in the soft breeze, and slowly grew stronger. The only thing that went through my mind, was that some kid was gonna find me, and tell their parents. That would be just as bad as what would happen later on in the day, between me and my dad. The scent was finally right next to me. I looked towards the side of the pipe's entrance, and was relieved as to what it was that found me. It was a dog. A few people let their pets run loose for some reason. This one was from across the street of our house, and is dark brown. It sniffed around, and when it saw me, it just stared. I could tell that it sensed my sadness from the day before. It looked at the device I had locked in the pipe, raised its paw to one of the stiff wires against the drain, looked at me, and wined softly. A tear dripped from my muzzle as I looked in the dog's eyes. I could see the sadness in his eyes, as if the dog felt sorry for me. I wasn't sure if the dog could sense what happened or not, but it felt like it.

After awhile, the dog left me to my thoughts in the drain. I had already eaten the rest of my snacks, as I waited for time to pass by. I glanced towards the house I use to sleep in, and while looking at the front door, I saw it open. I was relieved to see my dad opening and walking through the front door. He walked down the three sets of stairs along the sidewalk in front of the house, to his little white pickup. He released the emergency break, (after getting in it that is) started it up, and drove down the street. I watched him stop at the stop sign with his right blinker on, shortly before he turned and headed down another street. I sighed deeply as I reached for the key clipped to my remembrance pendant. I unlocked the device, and put it on the ground as I began putting my stuff together.

It didn't take as long as it did to take apart though. Although, it wasn't getting the stuff ready to go home that had its grasp on me. It was the bone-chilling, morning air that was getting to me. I love the cold, but when ya haven't used the bathroom for around 12 or so hours, ya know that ya really gotta go. The cold air didn't make it any better. I quickly walked home, opened the front door, and headed directly towards my room. Angel and mom were watching TV when I walked through the door.

As I quickly walked past them, they wondered what I was doing. At least, that was until they saw me set my stuff on my bed and unlock the north door in my room. This door led to the only bathroom in the house. The bathroom has another entrance, (which was from the kitchen) but my room's entrance was quicker to use, since I needed to put my stuff in my room anyway. After relieving myself of that terrible ache in my belly, I walked into the front-room and gave both my mom, and my little sister, a hug. I knew they had missed me when I saw tears in their eyes. "I wonder how difficult things will be later on," I thought to myself as we all sat down.

"So what's your plan?" both Angel, and my mother, asked me at the same time. "Well," I began as I thought of what was next. "I'm not sure if it can be considered a plan, considering that its just something that needs to be done," I told them. They stared at me for awhile, wondering what I meant exactly. I knew they didn't understand me, so I tried to sum it up by saying, "I need to have a family discussion with him. Even if things get physical in the beginning, it has to be done." "I just hope your able to pull it off. Once something is in his head, he won't stop for nothing to prove he's right, even if he's wrong," my mom told me. I knew she was worried for me. Angel looked sad so I knew she was worried as well. We all knew how dad was and that he normally will stop at nothing to get his way. I knew that I'd have to be specific and precise with everything I did, in order for things to work out in a good way. Even if making a deal with him was the only way things would work, it had to work out so that things would be as normal as possible.

Several hours went by before dad got back from wherever he had been. Not much happened in the hours that had passed. It was mostly just thinking of what to do and waiting on dad to get home. I heard his truck door slam shut, as I thought of why he'd be back early, (since he always gets home late at night). It was only around four or so in the afternoon. At least, that was what I was thinking about until I looked towards where he normally puts his hat before going to bed. His hat may not have been there in this particular spot of the house, but everything that normally goes on the belt around his waist was still there. The only thing missing was his cell phone. "Shit!" I said as I heard his footsteps along the sidewalk and quickly getting closer. Both my mother and sister were confused on why I said what I did, until they looked at what I saw, and realized what it meant.

Dad had alerted his friends so that if I came back to the house, to let him know. Me coming home was an invisible trap, and I had walked right into it. I realized how difficult things were about to get, and decided to do something I didn't want to do. That something, was to defend myself against my father. The instant the door opened, his eyes darted around the room, locked on me, and from where he was standing, he lunged at me. I had to figure out what to do in a hurry. Defending myself would be simple, but doing it without hurting my dad would be a challenge. I could only think of one way to do it, and I only had one shot at it. As his right arm reached for me, I grabbed his wrist with my left hand and pushed it to the right. When he reached for me with his left hand, I did the same thing as before, but with my right hand and pushing to the left. In the process of doing this, I put my right foot behind his feet, and pulled towards me. I held his arms close together as I quickly lowered him to the floor against an exercise mat that was always kept there.

As I pushed him against the floor, I held his arms under his chin so I could say something to him without him biting me in a chance to get loose. I could see the anger in his eyes, as well as tell that he was pissed at me, for being able to get him to the ground, as well as disable him from moving, in just one move.

As I looked down at him, I began with a calm voice, "if you decide that I shouldn't live here, or much less never come around here ever again, then I'll honor your request. But not before explaining things to you about what really happened at school, a few other things that need to be said about myself, and then some." His eyes were dilated, and fixed on me. His anger had reached a new level, and wasn't gonna change anytime soon. "Can you at least try to listen to 'm?" I heard mom say. Dad looked over at her and saw how sad she looked. When he saw a couple tears in her eyes, he looked back at me and nodded slightly. I pulled him back on his feet and we all took a seat. Me and Angel were sitting in chairs while mom and dad sat next to each other on the couch. I took a deep breath and began explaining what really happened at school the day before.

*********************************************************** Shortly after I finished explaining ***********************************************************

"Do you understand now? Some of the teachers don't like me, and even try to run the school themselves. When Esby found out who I was with, and that it had nothing to do with her, she had to make it deal with herself, as well as secretly tell me, that if she can't have me, no one can. My temper flipped in the process, and I reacted to her decision....My temper probably took it a little too far, but what is done; is done," I told him. Angel and mom were listening to what I was saying, and were watching dad to see if he'd react at all.

When he didn't say anything, I decided to continue. "Far as that goes, I might as well explain a little bit about myself. You said that I was gay, and that I lied to everyone around me. Explaining this would mean that I'd have to say, that your wrong. I may not be straight, but I'm not gay either. I am a bisexual, and I lied to keep it secret from everyone, until I was ready to reveal myself. If Esby wouldn't have hurt my boyfriend, I would have still kept it a secret. I kept him a secret because I knew how you'd probably react....Far as threatening the teachers goes, it wasn't to get my way. I did it to ensure that my boyfriend would survive....Do ya at least understand what I've told ya so far?" I asked him in hopes of him understanding this much. "I understand that since I'm not here that much, that what you've said is probably true, but what I don't get is how you can betray God after all that you've learned," he said with a calm but serious tone in his voice. "How am I supposedly betraying God?" I asked. It didn't make sense to me that I'd betray God, if I hadn't done anything wrong. Unless saving the one I love, goes against God's laws, it'd have to be explained to me. "Not being straight is a sin, and goes against the bible. Going against the bible is a sin, and goes against God's teachings," he replied. The instant he finished replying, I smiled slightly. "How is this a smiling matter?" he asked with a little anger in his voice. "I'm smiling because I didn't expect to be given the chance to explain my logic towards God, and the bible," I replied as I began to explain.

"Going against the bible may mean that you'd be going against God if you defy it, but what people don't know is that the original bible has been lost to the public's eyes. The bible has been rewritten many times so that it would match whatever religion it was written for. Because of this, the bible was never as God wanted it to be. It was written by humans, and has many mistakes. Therefore, following the bible isn't worth it anymore. What "is" worth it, is to follow the teachings that are hidden in the KJ version of the bible. There hard to find, but they're there nonetheless. One of these teachings is to respect all of God's creations. God created everything for a reason, and this includes the thought patterns of each creation. The thought patterns of those that are not straight, are one of the most important things on this planet, and no one has actually stopped to think about the importance of it. Some of us have, and understand it, but when we try to explain it to the world, we are shoved aside as if we're meaningless. I've realized that even when we talk of saving over five million dollars, "so that states would have more money," is in the conversation, that people for some stupid reason would rather spend the millions of dollars, just so that people that aren't straight, have nothing more than a difficult life," I said aloud as I waited for what dad was about to say.

"And what possible importance and talk of such large sums of money be?" he asked. I was a little happier when I saw that puzzled look on my dad's face. Just from his look I could tell that he put all his hatred and thoughts aside so he could hear what I was about to explain to him, as well as attempt to understand it. "By giving rights to those that are not straight, one of the reasons we were created, would finally be brought to service," I said with a smile on my face. The look on my dad's face when I said what I did was priceless. "And what reason might that be?" he asked a bit quicker than I expected. We all now knew that he wanted to know more.

Angel and mom were wanting to know just as much as he did, so I might as well say it. "One of the major problems in the world is over-population. The only way to solve this would be to tremendously lower the world's birth rate. We were created to do this, but then we were pushed aside, and told that even though God created us, that he hated us. Because of this, what we were created for, was split in several directions. One of these directions is to help the children that don't have a real family. Orphans that end up in orphanages are one set of children that need us. The other set, are the ones that need to be adopted, but don't end up in orphanages. Taking the burden upon ourselves to raise these children would save the government a lot of money, but because people don't want to accept us as one of God's "much needed" creations, the world would rather suffer, instead of get better. Until the balance of life is fixed, the world won't get any better," I said as I finished explaining a large portion of my logic to everyone. I had explained everything I could think of that needed to be explained. There was only one thing left to tell 'm, but I needed his response to all this, before I could continue anything.

Angel and mom were waiting for his response along with me. We knew he was at least thinking about all of this, so I guess waiting for it wasn't so bad or anything. I expected what his response was though. "I understand what you've told me....but it would take a long time for me to get use to yall at all," he said with a calm voice. As soon as he said "yall," I knew he was talking about people like me. There was only one thing left to do, and hopefully it turned out right. "Can ya at least make a deal, that works for everyone?" I asked, hoping everything would go well.

After he nodded; I told him, with a serious tone, "make sure you take into consideration, that just because its very difficult for you to accept what I am fully, doesn't mean everyone else is the same way." He glanced from me to Angel and mom. They looked sad, and a bit worried. He knew that he shouldn't upset them, and thought of an ideal choice to suggest. "Be here when I'm not and be gone when I am. Do this for three years, and I, "should," be over it," he told me. I thought it over, and only had one thing to add. "On one condition....when the three years are up, your dad's truck that you were giving me, will be fixed up, and ready to go when those years are up," I told 'm. I didn't expect his answer to be what it was at all, and I doubt I was the only one that was shocked. "Just as long as I have a list of the extra's ya want done to it. You can sleep here for the night, but our deal begins tomorrow," he said with a smile. "I'll have mom give ya a list tomorrow....and thanks for giving me a place to stay tonight," I replied with a grin. None of us expected things to go quite so smoothly.

"I gave my mother the list, and since then I've been going between here and my parent's house. The only special things I've seen happen between then and now; are Angel's graduation, as well as my own," I said aloud to everyone at the table. By now, everyone was finished with their food, and were just sipping on their drinks. I don't think there was anyone of us that didn't have tear-filled eyes. Especially now that everyone knew what had happened, just a few years earlier.

I had been looking downward for quite awhile, listening to the silence that had taken over soon after the story was finished. I looked up to see how everyone reacted. Kathy looked very sad, and could only look towards me. "I noticed that you sometimes pay for your food, and other times ya don't. May I ask why that is?" Kathy asked softly. I knew she felt sorry for me just by the sadness in her voice, but I wasn't sure what her real question was. "I scrap metal every now and then; or at least I use to. Once the new laws came out, (which stated that certain licenses were required for certain metal objects) I ended up just scrapping cans, and nothing more," I replied. Once I finished my sentence, I realized what her real question was, and decided to ask for her. "Your wanting to know how I get from my parent's house to here, and vice-versa, aren't ya?" I asked her. Her only reply was yes; although, the look on her face said so much more. "I'll have to wait till later on before I can answer that....Perhaps when we end up outside and heading somewhere," I told her. She nodded her head as she looked towards the table.

From here it was back to pure silence. It wasn't until Alex asked something, that the silence was broken. "Now that we know what happened in Ulric and Jonwolf's past. What about yours?" Alex asked Andy. "Well, I always wanted to come to America and see how life is for this country. My life wasn't getting any better over in Europe, so I decided to come here when I got the chance. I couldn't get a better job than being a truck-driver, seeing as there is a job crisis here. You already know about me losing my job today over something so simple....What about you?" Andy asked after he summed up his life. Alex thought for a second or so before replying. "I was finally kicked out for being what I am....I was lucky enough to have money saved up, so I could still have something other than just clothes and a few items....Sometime after getting kicked out, I decided to take up an offer from Ulric. He wanted me to be the first to...," he stopped suddenly. He had a grin on his face and was blushing. I don't know if anyone else was grinning or not, but I was.

While grinning, I looked over my shoulder towards Ulric and said, "so....did ya let 'm mount ya down on Persimmon Hill, walk to the Auto-pool, and then become hitchhikers when Andy gave both of yall a ride here?" I didn't think that this would happen, but there wasn't a single person at that table, (Other than me) that didn't have a shocked look on their face. As for me, I carried an evilish grin on my face. By now, everyone realized that I knew exactly what happened down on Persimmon Hill; and that even though our past is filled with dreadful memories; that from this point on; our lives would change for the better.

I hope everyone loved this chapter as much as I did writing it. Many questions were answered in this chapter, but I realized a few may have been missed, and many more were created. This is my longest chapter so far, and many more have yet to be written. Shorter chapters may be next, but I'll make it worthwhile for you all. My next chapter, will be another adult chapter like this one is, except, it will have much more than this one had. I won't tell ya which characters, but it will deal with more than one. That much I can assure you. Until then, Catch ya later <(^_^)>
