Matheau and Beijore XX:: First night, Scattered Thoughts.

This is a no yiff story, so its suitible for all ages. I apologize for my recent string of no yiffs, i know some out there have been disappointed. Matheau and Beijore, and all their children are copywritten to me, please dont use them without my concent, and thoughts, ideas, and constructive criticism are always welcome.

The next story in the long running series of my beloved dragons Matheau and Beijore. This story marks the start of many new plot twists and some possible new story series. I hope you have all enjoyed the stories thus far, and will enjoy my future stories. Matheau, Beijore, and all of their children are copy written to me. Please do not use them without my written consent. This is another clean story (sorry!) so its suitable for most anyone with an open mind.

The first night at the Stratford home was hectic and noisy. The new hatchlings woke often, and they stayed awake for long periods of time. Beijara remained quiet for most of the night, though she was awake and watching her twin brothers with wide, calculating eyes.

Aurokhan, Jocelyn, and Sasha were also awake. For the first time since any of them could remember, they slept apart from each other. Each of them had their own thoughts, but their brethren's cries did not disturb them.

Aurokhan sat in his favorite corner with his back to his sisters and a book placed in front of him. But he wasn't reading, he was writing. This book was his private journal. Within his journal, Aurokhan kept many things. His deepest secrets, his darkest desires, his dreams and his goals, yet the journal was not entirely good. Aurokhan believed that he learned more from his failures than his successes, so he made record of his failures in his journal too.

Aug 27th, 986.

My new brothers and sister were born tonight! I have two new brothers and a sister. My sister's name is Beijara, named after mother. Her scales are a light, almost sky blue. It's fitting that she should be named after mother. She is pretty in her own right, but not near as beautiful as Sasha and Jocelyn, or at least.....that's how I feel.

I heard mother mention that she thought she had lost a child. But my brothers hatched from the same egg! They are small in size from hatching from the same egg, and at first I was frightened that they would not make it through. I knew that I shouldn't have been though, because mother and father would never let anything happen to any of them, just like they would never let anything happen to Sasha, Jocelyn, or myself. But watching my brothers and sister hatch woke something inside of me, the desire to be a father. I don't know if Jocelyn told Sasha or not, but Jocelyn is egg heavy now, and with my children. What Jocelyn doesn't know is that I purposely seeded her. I tried to impregnate Sasha too, but I haven't heard anything from her, so I don't know if I was successful or not.

Father said he is gong to teach us to fly and use our breath weapon in the morning. I'll try to talk with father alone at some point......there are many things we need to discuss. Like courtship, mateship, and Sasha, Jocelyn, and myself moving away......

Jocelyn sat alone in her corner, humming to herself and scribbling in her own book. But this book wasn't a journal like her brother's. This book was just a scrap book of memories. So far, there weren't very many. Inside was a scale from each of them, Aurokhan, Sasha, her father Matheau, and her mother Beijore, and of course, herself. There was also a tooth inside that she had lost as a hatchling. But now, she was writing down names. The names that her sons and daughters might possibly bear, but she would discuss them with the father first, of course.

It was hard for her to believe just how much time had passed, and just how quickly. It seemed that only days ago, her parents were giants, and the world was a totally new place. With the passing time, many things have changed. Her body size was almost half as big as her mothers now, and her inexperienced wings were strong and beautifully shaped. As her parents had thought when she hatched, she was growing up to be a gorgeous young dragon, and she would have any mate that she chose. But what her parents didn't know was that she was pregnant, and she had already chosen her mate.

*******************

Her mother and father were happy. Her brother and sister were happy. But Sasha wasn't happy. So much had gone wrong so fast, when everything had been going so well. Her brother and sister cared for her and loved her as much as she did them. But now, everything was different. While Jocelyn was sure she was pregnant with Aurokhan's children, she was almost certain that the babies she carried within her belonged to her father. Aurokhan would not love her anymore, nor would he care for children that were not his.

And there was no way that she could admit to her parents that the children she was carrying were her father's, because it would most certainly open up a rift between her parents, and that was something she most certainly did not want. Her parents had been through so much and had overcome so much already......how could she possibly let her mistake destroy her parent's mateship? She couldn't, nor would she do it. It didn't take long for her to reach a decision within her mind. Unknown to her parents or her siblings, Sasha already knew how to fly. She had practiced at night in her eagerness to learn how to fly, and quickly distanced herself from her brother and sister in terms of skills. When Jocelyn and Aurokhan left as she knew they were planning to do, she would follow them for a distance, and then go off on her own. She wouldn't be a bother, and she could raise her young on her own. And only she would know who the father of her babies were..........

Beijore was currently feeding her twin sons Matthew and Aurthur, while Matheau walked about the room with his daughter Beijara nestled against his muscled breast while singing softly to her. Beijore smiled warmly to her mate. Of all the things Matheau was skilled at, being a father was the thing he was best at. The look in his eyes as he held her, the pure emotion of his voice with his song, and how he could be so fierce and powerful, yet when he held her or his children, he was so gentle and loving.

"I think Beijara is almost asleep now. Why don't you bring her over here so she can sleep and take one of your sons for a while?" Matheau turned around and held a finger to his lips as he approached the nest and laid Beijara in the nest beside her mother.

"She is beautiful my love, just like her mother." Matheau said as he kissed Beijara's cheek softly. "She looks like an angel when she is asleep." Matheau took his son Matthew carefully from Beijore and rubbed his back as he started singing to his son in a soft, rhythmic voice. Beijore had to admit, for a male, Matheau had a beautiful voice. Other than singing to the children, Matheau did not sing. He did not like his voice, but Beijore on the other hand, loved his voice, and wished he would use it more often.

One evening, Beijore had come upon him while he was sitting outside the cave underneath the stars. She did not go to him, but rather, sat in the shadows and watched him. He was quiet for the longest time, but then Beijore was surprised when she heard the most beautiful sound that she had ever heard. Matheau was singing to the stars. His voice at times soft, at others deep and resonating, she listened to his voice rise and fall with emotion. It took her a few moments, and she had to strain her hearing, but she at last heard what he was singing about, and it brought tears to her eyes.

He was sing about her, and how she made him feel. He sand of how her eyes sparkled like the stars, and how their love made him soar into the heavens. Beijore left before the song was finished deciding to wait for him inside the cave before he heard her soft cries of happiness. She never mentioned to him that she heard him, but rather, kept the song of that night in her heart as one of her most treasured memories.

Beijore was awakened from her reverie by a loud burp from both of her sons at the exact same time. "It seems that our sons have an incredible link, Matheau." Beijore continued rubbing Aurthur's lavender colored scales, cooing to him as his little eyes began to drift closed. She held him for a few moments more before placing him next to his sister. "Matheau, why don't you bring your son over here now so that I can get him bedded down?" Beijore whispered loudly enough for him to hear, and he turned to look at her.

"Can I hold him for a few moments more? He's not quite asleep yet....." Beijore could tell that Matthew was in fact quite asleep, but how could she possibly tell him no? "But of course, Matheau, but just another few minutes, alright? He needs his sleep, and so do you." She thrummed softly, folding her wing over her slumbering hatchlings. "You promised Aurokhan, Sasha, and Jocelyn that you would teach them to fly and use their breath weapon in the morning, remember?" Matheau nodded, but otherwise said nothing as he continued rocking his son. After a while, he got in the nest with her, and when Beijore lifted her wing, Matheau placed the slumbering green hatchling under his mate's wing with his siblings. "Now that the children are bedded down, I need to get you bedded down, Matheau." She moved so that he could lie close to her side, and Beijore thrummed deeply. The vibrations traveled through her body and into him. The effects were almost instantaneous. First, he yawned, and then his eyes began to droop. "Rest, my loving mate." Beijore said softly. "Tomorrow is another new day."
