Never Alone (Poem)

--This was a poem I wrote quite some time ago. I was in a rather iffy mood when I wrote this - took about 15 minutes--

Some hate loneliness Some crave it. Some desire it. Some require it.

Some are never alone Sometimes, they keep sides of them hidden. Hidden sides? Like dice, their face and their opposite make the same result, But one is always greater

Six to One Five to Two Four to three

Never equal

No one can equal their inner selves. They can surpass them They can be belittled by them But never equal.

So some people are at war with themselves Their stategies differ Some rebel openly with themselves Some lay back and accept defeat Others struggle to win...

Wars in the head can never finish How can one win against an opponent as skilled as themselves? How can one win against an opponent who can see your inner thoughts? How can one win... How can one win... How...

The answer is there Plain as the skin on your hands.

You can never win.

Only survive... With the internal... With the eternal... With the pain.

Use whatever mental weapons you can, Try to drive away the personal demons with our thoughts No one can succeed. No one has No one will

Never alone...
