Shattered: Prologue
"No!" A gray pelted male screamed. His eyes streaming with tears.
He knew it; His heart had fractured as his paw was full of a brilliant
violet blue sparkling ashes.
He fell to the ground in an emotional collapsation as his eyes gleamed
red from his spilling tears. "I can't lose you! Not now, Please!"
The night sky voided everything in its path. A soft breeze scraping it's
way through the forest. It was a thick wooded forest. Full of elegant cherry
blossom tree's. The loud wails from the male was all that could be heard on
that dreadful night.
The light smell of cherry blossom's brushed against the fallen male's nose.
He sniffled whipping his flowing tears away. His eyes widen in pure shock
as he caught the shape of a familiar figure.
'Please...I don't have much time.' A sweet voice pierced the male's ears.
The figure seemed to beam a smile at him. Cherry blossom's floated up as
each step it took towards the collapsed male.
The familiar scent swayed past his nose. He hated that scent now. It made
him tear up again. 'Please don't cry. Your destined for so much greater.'
The eyes of the male glistened a silver in the sore moonlight. He stayed quite
still penetrated in shock, His mind couldn't process what he was seeing, Disbelief
grasped him.
'My memories are fading as we speak; I can't even remember your name anymore.
But your destiny is unraveling itself. I see that clearly now' There was
A long pause before the figure spoke up again. '...I shall bless you...
Or curse you, Depends on how you take it.'
He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He felt like he was slowly slipping
from reality. Fear gripped him like a strangle hold. His limbs grew numb.
"This can't be happening!" He screamed in his head. His muzzle seemed glued
shut as he tried to scream in terror.
The figure kept it's gaze on him. The males head drooping to the ground,
He felt lost, His body was no longer controlled by himself. He was paralyzed.
The entity paced it's way over to him, It's paw grazed against the fallen male's
muzzle. 'This is how your journey begins...I love you no more...Soot is what
I'm calling you.'
A blinding light shimmered into his eyes, A burning sensation flaring in his heart,
Then just as it started his back singed like fire, then it stopped. His eyes shut and
he fell with a 'thud' to the ground.
His worn down body lied limp on the ground. The only sign of life he showed was the
soft inhaling, exhaling motions of his chest.
'Soot forgive me and live your life...Or better yet y-' The cherry blossom's flooded
around the figure causing a mini cyclone like substance. 'Out of time.'
The figure blew away with a gust of heavy wind.
The stars danced above his head in the sky. Everything seemed to fall silent as he
laid limp, seemingly lifeless. His name was the only thing that repeated in his
mind. 'Soot...'
