EVIL DOESN'T DIE BOOK ONE CHAPTER EIGHT.

So. After a few months, we've finally reached the end of the first part of this series. Not only that, but we all find out just how crazy I can be to the characters in my stories. That is a warning. Anyways, I usually give you all a recap in this area, but today I'm gonna try something different. Now that I've finished here, Ladies and Gentle-furs, i recommend that you lean back, have a ventilator ready, and please enjoy the final chapter of Book One of EVIL DOESN'T DIE. And as always, many thanks to Nex-Canis for editing this chapter. I recommend that you all read his stories here on Sofurry.

It has been said that the most

Dangerous person, is the person who

Isn't afraid to die in battle. I however, believe

That the most dangerous person, is the person

Who knows he's going to die, and does

Whatever they want because of that.

Congratulations. You have reached your final destination.

Chapter one recap:

Ariel heard his mother let out a small cough, and then heard her speak, "Ariel, you need to get out of here. That thing that attacked me wasn't normal. And it wasn't a vampire. It was a blood-sucking demon. His name is Asmodeus. He will come back to finish me off. If you're here, he will kill you." Ariel looked at his mother in astonishment. Smiling faintly, Ariel's mother continued speaking, "I know this is a lot for you to take in right now, but you have to leave, and go to your uncle's house. He will teach you everything you need to know to avenge my death.

The vampire ignored the smart-ass comment, and finished tying up Ariel. When he was done, the vampire asked, "any last words Ariel, Supernatural Hunter?" Ariel looked up at the vampire, and said, "Yeah. I have five words actually. You Can Kiss My Machete." With those words, Ariel kicked the trunk of the tree he was tied to. The sound of a weight dropping could be heard, and then the unmistakable sound of metal slicing through the air sounded. The gator looked up, just in time to see a sharp machete swinging towards the center of his neck. Before he could even scream, the blade sliced through his neck, causing a spray of blood to squirt out from the wound, as the blade cleanly severing his spinal cord. The blood spatter went all over Ariel's face and body. Ariel let the blood hit him, without so much as flinching.

Chapter three recap:

After four minutes of seeing Aaron in pain, Ariel heard a sound that he was looking for, the sound of a bone snapping in half. As soon as he heard that sound, it was followed up by the sound of a pained howl. Smirking, Ariel let go of Aaron's leg, then crawled over to his sword. Grabbing it, Ariel got up, and limped towards Aaron. The wolf could only look up at Ariel, begging for his life. "I said I would let you go. But I never said I wasn't going to kill you afterwards." said Ariel. With those words spoken, Ariel clutched his sword in both hands, and raised it above his head. "Die demon." said Ariel as he brought the sword down into Aaron's chest. The wolf let out another howl of pain, which was abruptly cut off when a bright light engulfed him, and the entire building. After five minutes, the light faded away, leaving behind the body of a wolf.

Chapter four recap:

Eric turned his head around to look Ariel straight in the eye. "Ariel, what I saw in there...made me sick. It also affected my head. The way my sister's body was left, has spoken to me. As of today, May 8th, 3028, I'm joining you. I'm going to help you kill anything supernatural." Ariel looked at Eric in surprise, forgetting about the bottle in his hands. "Eric, the only reason I'm able to hunt...is because people like me are gifted with a superpower to do so. You weren't born with a superpower, so I can't guarantee that you will stay alive." When he finished speaking, Ariel was taken by surprise as Eric grabbed him, and slammed his back against the car. "Listen! I just lost my sister. I have no parents. I don't care if I don't have superpowers, I will join you!" snarled Eric. Hearing that, Ariel nodded slowly, "okay then, and welcome to the team...Eric." With those words, Ariel gently shoved Eric away from him, and walked up to Melissa's house.

Chapter five recap:

They watched as the tracer rounds lit up the night briefly, before it entered the creature. They cringed as they watched the frangible rounds rip apart the stomach of the Chupacabra. It wasn't until the 15th round from each gun, that the incendiary rounds shot out of the guns, spinning through the air, and embedding themselves into the skull of the Chupacabra. The entire time Ariel and Eric were shooting, the creature was letting out screams of terror. The screams finally stopped once the incendiary rounds pierced the creature's skull. After making sure that the Chupacabra was dead, Ariel and Eric walked up to the corpses.

Let's go.

I've seen your war ...

Chapter six recap:

"You're right Lincoln, it won't get rid of you. Unless, it's soaked in dried up salt water. And it just so happens, this knife is." said Ariel as he pressed a small button on the end of the knife. Lincoln's face twisted in horror as the blade flew into his neck, embedding itself into his jugular vein. Raising his hand up to the blade in his neck, Lincoln let out a scream as he felt his body burst into flames. A second later, Ariel closed his eyes as Lincoln's ghost turned to ash.

chapter seven recap:

"You're right Asmodeus. Our final battle shouldn't be here. It should be in the school yard of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School." Not agreeing right away, Asmodeus considered the area that Ariel mentioned. He thought about all the pros and cons, and finally agreed. "We'll do battle there. Two nights from today." Asmodeus stuck out his hand, and waited for Ariel to shake it to confirm their deal. Ariel didn't waste any time. He immediately grabbed Asmodeus' hand, and shook it, sealing their deal. Letting go of Ariel's hand, Asmodeus turned around, and unfurled his wings. Before he flew away, he let Ariel in on a little secret. "By the way Ariel, I suggest you go look at your feline friend. He's in need of some medical help." Laughing manically, Asmodeus leapt up into the air, and flew out of Ariel's house, and into the night sky.

After ten minutes of sitting next to Eric, Ariel felt the lion's paw go limp in his hand. Tears in his eyes, Ariel turned to look at the lion's face, and was able to confirm that Eric was dead. Softly crying, Ariel gently closed Eric's eyes, and got up from the floor. Reaching down, Ariel picked up the lion's lifeless body, and started walking back up to his old bedroom. Once he was inside, Ariel gently placed the lion's body on the floor, then turn to his wall. Glancing briefly at the posters he had hanging up, Ariel tore them down, and set them up to form a rectangle. Once he was finished, Ariel turned towards Eric's body, and quickly rolled him onto the posters. As soon as he had the lion on the posters, Ariel left his room, and returned five minutes later with a blanket. With tears in his eyes, he gently placed the blanket on top of Eric's body, making sure to cover the lion's head as he did so. Taking in a shuddering breath, Ariel sat down next to the lion's body, placed his head on his knees, and started to cry softly.

War Machine!

Chapter Eight starts now.

Location: Ariel's former home. Time: 5:01 p.m. Date: August 11th, 3028.

*CLICK!* Gritting his teeth, Ariel checked his gun, and then placed it back on his forehead, and squeezed the trigger again. *CLICK* Ariel let out a snarl as he heard his gun misfire again. You'd think that by the 31st century, these guns wouldn't be misfiring. Still pissed off, Ariel took out the magazine, and checked to see if any bullets were loaded into it. When he was satisfied that there were bullets in the clip, Ariel loaded it into his gun, and placed the gun back onto his forehead. Just before he squeezed the trigger, Ariel looked down at Eric's body. Smiling softly, Ariel said, "I'll be seeing you soon Eric. And then we can do whatever we want." Sighing, Ariel started to squeeze the gun's trigger, but stopped when he felt a sudden weight on the gun's barrel. Looking up, Ariel found himself staring at a bony hand. Eyes widening, Ariel followed the bony hand all the way up to the owner's face. The sight before him, left him shaking in his sneakers. The owner of the bony hand, was none other than the GRIM REAPER, or Death for short. I am so fucked.

Death looked down at Ariel, and smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth. "Well, you just seemed to not get it, did you?" Ariel looked at the empty eye sockets of the skeleton before him, and shuddered as he watched a hellish flame appear in them. Opening his mouth, Ariel finally spoke his first words since meeting Death. "What do you mean?" Death smiled, and let out a small chuckle. "You don't know what I mean?" Death looked around the house as if looking at an audience, a look of humor on his skeletal face, and then said, "He doesn't know what I mean! Haha." Suddenly, Death's face went from full of humor, to anger. Lunging forward, Death wrapped his hands around Ariel's throat, and started squeezing it. "What I mean, little boy, is the fact that I'm trying to prevent you from killing yourself. Yet, you insist on killing yourself anyways." Disgusted, Death let go of Ariel's throat, and started pacing around the boy's room. His eyes expressing anger, Ariel got up from his seat on the ground, and lunged towards Death. He made it about halfway to the entity, before he was stopped with a bony hand wrapped around his throat again.

Death looked at Ariel, and shook his head. "You know, when I touch people, they usually die. Right now, you're fucking ass is lucky. I voluntarily decided not to let you die." At those words, Death smirked, and tossed Ariel to the floor. The boy landed hard, the breath in his lungs escaping pass his lips. Sighing at the pitiful sight, Death resumed his pacing, trying to decide what he was going to do with Ariel. As it turned out, Ariel ended up deciding for him. "Hey Death! I want you to do two thing for me. In return, you get my soul." At those words, Death looked at Ariel with what could have been called curiosity in his gaze. "You cure me of my werewolf curse, and you bring my boyfriend back to life." Death looked away from Ariel, intrigued at the deal that was being offered to him. On one hand, I get a soul for the price of a soul. On the other hand, I lose a soul. Still, I'm getting the soul of a hunter of the supernatural. I'll take this kid's deal, thought Death as he ran a bony finger across his chin. After another minute of thinking, Death turned back to Ariel, and gave the boy his answer. "I'll go along with your deal. But-" said Death as he saw Ariel move to interrupt him, "you have to kill Asmodeus first." A look of anger flashed across Ariel's face at the added term of his deal, but he quickly nodded his head in agreement. Smirking, Death held out his hand, waiting for Ariel to shake it. The boy wasted no time. He grabbed the bony hand, and shook it. When he took his hand away, Ariel looked down at his hand, and noticed something strange on it. Bringing the hand closer to his face, Ariel recognized the infamous skull and crossbones symbol etched into his palm. Glancing back up, Ariel realized that he was alone. Closing his hand into a fist, and nodding his head slightly, Ariel headed out of his former bedroom, and then out the front door of the house, to his car.

Location: F.D.R. High School Front Entrance. Time: 9:42 p.m.

The Fight is about to begin.

The loud roar of a sports car filled the night air. The source of the sound, a black Camaro, drove up to the front entrance of F.D.R. High School. Once it came to a complete stop, the driver side door opened, and Ariel stepped out. His shades on, even though the sky was dark, Ariel glanced around at the building that housed his former High School, and all the other buildings surrounding it. This is it. I finally enact 11 years worth of revenge. I hope Asmodeus is ready for the fight of his life. With that thought in mind, Ariel took off his shades, and walked up to the front doors of the school. He pulled at the handles, and was not surprised to find that they securely locked. Smiling, Ariel reached into his trench coat, and took out a lock pick gun. After glancing around to make sure no one was watching, Ariel placed the muzzle of the lock pick gun over the lock, and was soon inside of the school building. As he closed the door behind him, Ariel called out for Asmodeus. "Asmodeus, you son of a bitch! Where the fuck are you?!?!?! It's time for our fight!" As he listened to his voice echo throughout the hallways of the school, Ariel waited patiently for the Demon Wolf to appear. He didn't have to wait long. As Ariel looked up at the hallway in front of him, a dark black fog filled the hallway. As Ariel looked on, he watched as a pair of eyes formed in the fog, and then the rest of the Demon Wolf's body. A full minute later, Ariel was staring at the root of all his problems, and the reason why he started hunting the supernatural. Asmodeus had arrived.

"Hello Ariel. It's nice to see you again. And might I add that you look like you're up for a fight." said Asmodeus as he walked up to Ariel. Blinking slowly, Ariel stood still as he watched Asmodeus walk up to him. Snickering, Asmodeus continued speaking. "So, I hear you made a deal with Death." Asmodeus raised his hand to stop Ariel from asking the question he knew was coming. "You thought I didn't know? Ariel, you insult me. This was my entire plan all along. I killed your mother, which alerted you to the supernatural. I killed Eric's sister, and you aunt and uncle, so that you could remember me. And Eric," at the mention of the lion's name, Asmodeus smirked as he looked up at the sky. "Eric was killed so that I could get you to make a deal with Death. Very soon, my reasons will soon become clear for why I went through all this careful planning." Once he finished speaking, Asmodeus, who had walked up to Ariel and stopped just a foot away from him, leaned in, and gave Ariel a toothy grin. Ariel, having listened to everything Asmodeus told him, was shaking slightly as he realized that he had just been played. This entire time, I was only being played. I've been directed my entire life by this demon, thought Ariel. Closing his eyes, Ariel ran through all the times he had thought about Asmodeus, all the anger he had gained from it, and focused it into one area. With a loud roar, Ariel punched Asmodeus in the jaw.

A loud *smack* filled the air as Asmodeus reeled back, holding a paw to his lower jaw. As soon as he regained his balanced, he lost it again as Ariel aimed a kick at his kneecap, shattering it. Snarling in pain, Asmodeus fell to the floor, clutching his knee as he watched Ariel stand over him. "Let it all out Ariel. Let all the anger out. Let it fuel you." shouted Asmodeus as Ariel picked him up from the floor. Bringing the wolf's face close to his, Ariel hissed a message into Asmodeus' ear. "I'm going to kill you. In due time, because first, I'm going to...cause....you...pain. As...much...pain...as...you...caused...me." said Ariel slowly. Laughing coldly, Ariel lifted Asmodeus as high as he could, and then tossed him into a light fixture in the ceiling. Jumping back, Ariel watched with fascination as the lights exploded around Asmodeus' body. The Demon let out a shrill scream as electricity coursed through his body, causing his muscles to lock up. After five minutes of being electrocuted, the electricity in the building finally ran out, and Asmodeus fell back down to the floor. It was no surprise to Ariel that Asmodeus was still alive, in fact, he was counting on it. As the demon was gasping for breath, Ariel picked him up again, wrapped his arms around him in a bear hug, and started running down the length of the hallway.

As Ariel ran, Asmodeus was gasping words into his ear. "Good...boy. Keep....the....anger....flowing. You're....just....bringing....about.....my.....revelation." Ariel ignored Asmodeus' words, and kept running. Just as Ariel was about to reach the end wall of the hallway, he turned his head to the left, and lifted Asmodeus a little higher up his body. A minute later, Ariel rammed Asmodeus into the wall, finally coming to a complete stop. Asmodeus let out a pained yelp as he felt all the bones in his vessel's body break into pieces. With a smile, that held no emotion, on his face, Ariel dropped Asmodeus to the floor. The vessel's body was completely beyond repair, but since Asmodeus was possessing the body, he could still move around. And move around he did. With a pained gasp, the Demon Wolf got up to his knees, and regarded Ariel warily. "Owww! That one hurt, oh that one hurt. Oh, and by the way, now that I've let you beat me up, it's now my turn." With those words, Asmodeus took out a small pistol he had hidden in his pants, and shot Ariel five times. A stricken look appeared on Ariel's face as he shakily raised his hands up to two of the five bullet holes in his stomach. Looking at Asmodeus, Ariel fell down to his knees, his body in shock from the gunshot wounds.

Asmodeus looked down at Ariel, his lips twitching in anger. Wrapping his paw around Ariel's neck, Asmodeus leaned in, and spoke in a whisper. "You're very lucky I only had five rounds in that gun. But, then again, maybe you're not so lucky. That just means that I can continue to whip your monkey ass." As he closed his muzzle, Asmodeus struck Ariel in the jaw with the butt of his pistol. Still in shock from the gunshot wounds, Ariel just fell back, his back hitting the floor. Seizing on the opportunity that was presented to him, Asmodeus started kicking Ariel in the stomach. "THIS," said Asmodeus as he kicked Ariel in the side, breaking a few ribs. "Is for," Asmodeus kept kicking Ariel in the same spot, turning whatever organs in that area, to mush. "You being born!!" At those words, Asmodeus aimed his last kick at Ariel's head. The boy's head snapped violently in the direction that the kick had been aimed. Smiling evilly, Asmodeus bent down, and picked Ariel up by his shirt. Leaning in closely, he whispered into the boy's ear. "Heal yourself. We're not done yet." Ariel, having barely heard what Asmodeus told him, quickly complied, and healed himself. As soon as Ariel was healed, Asmodeus tossed his sorry ass back to the floor. Ariel winced as he heard a loud *crack* come from a bone somewhere in his arm. Wrapping a hand around his forearm, Ariel looked up at Asmodeus in confusion from one of his earlier statements. "What the fuck did you mean when you said 'this is for being born?'" asked Ariel.

Asmodeus looked down at Ariel, his face seemingly giving off an aura of danger. Instead of answering Ariel's question, he just picked up the boy, placed him over his shoulders, and started walking up a stairwell. As Asmodeus climbed each step, Ariel was jabbing his elbow into pressure points in the Demon Wolf's neck, but it was all for naught. Asmodeus kept on climbing the stairs, all the way up to the roof. At the entrance of the roof, Asmodeus stopped and let Ariel fall off his shoulders. Ariel let out a grunt as his body hit the floor. Looking up at the demon, Ariel only had one thought in mind: How long is this fight gonna last before I kill this mofo? Gritting his teeth, Ariel got up to a standing position, and took off his trench coat. As the trench coat fell to the floor, it revealed a utility belt strapped to Ariel's chest. Asmodeus raised his eyebrows as he looked at the various holy weapons that Ariel had gathered. "So, you came prepare. I like that. Now the fun can truly begin." Smiling, Asmodeus rushed at Ariel, his claws out. Instead of moving out of the way, Ariel stayed where he was, and took out a small glass bottle. As soon as Asmodeus was close enough to him, Ariel jumped out of the way, and through the glass bottle at him.

The bottle, which contained holy water, exploded into shards, and sent the holy water spraying all over Asmodeus' body. The Demon Wolf let out a pained howl as the holy water burned away the fur of his vessel's body, and burned the skin underneath. Smirking, Ariel reached into the utility belt on his chest, and took out three shuriken. Spreading them out into the palm of his right hand, Ariel picked one of them, and let it catch the moonlight. The moonlight shone over the weapon, and illuminated an indented label on the surface. The label listed the shuriken as being made of silver. Just before he finally threw the weapon, Ariel was knocked over by the charging form of Asmodeus. A loud grunt of pain escaped Ariel's mouth as the momentum of Asmodeus' charge, sent them to the floor. "Ariel, don't you ever learn? Don't get distracted during a fight." said Asmodeus as he got off of Ariel. Smiling, Asmodeus unsheathed the claws on his right paw, and licked the index finger. Afterwards, with a malicious grin, Asmodeus drove the licked finger straight into Ariel's right shoulder. Ariel let out a loud yell of agony, the claw seemingly burning its way into his shoulder. "TAKE IT OUT!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!" shouted Ariel. Hearing the pained yell, Asmodeus let out an exasperated sigh, and took his claw out of Ariel's shoulder.

As soon as the claw was out of his shoulder, Ariel wrapped his left hand around the gaping wound. "Well ain't this a pitiful sight. The almighty hunter of the supernatural, reduced to tears because of a puncture wound." Asmodeus shook his head in disgust as he spoke those words. Ariel just looked at Asmodeus, not doing anything as he healed up his shoulder wound. As soon as the wound was healed, Ariel took his hand away from his shoulder, and grabbed some of the gravel from the roof. Asmodeus, who was oblivious to everything Ariel had just done, started speaking again. "You know, I knew that this fight was going to be in favor of either one of us. I just didn't expect it to be me. Huh...well, what can ya do?" Laughing at his little joke, Asmodeus bent down, and picked up the shuriken that Ariel had dropped. The shurikens, which were supposed to harm the Demon Wolf, felt cool in Asmodeus' hands. Not wanting to waste time like Ariel did, Asmodeus immediately aimed the weapons at Ariel's arms, and threw them. "Argh! Damn it!" shouted Ariel as the shurikens embedded themselves into his arms. Asmodeus closed his eyes, and soaked up the screams like it was music.

Gritting his teeth from the pain of all the wounds he'd received, Ariel couldn't help but wonder how he was going to get out of this one. This is a fucking cliche. I easily kill all the other supernatural creatures, but when I get to Asmodeus, he's making it hard for me to kill him. Shaking his head free of the thought, Ariel was about to get off the ground, when Asmodeus kneeled down by his ear. Slightly confused by what the Demon Wolf was doing, Ariel didn't immediately move away from him. Instead, he laid idly by as Asmodeus lowered his muzzle to his ear, and started whispering something. Ariel's widened as he listened to every word that Asmodeus whispered to him. Once Asmodeus finished speaking, he moved away from Ariel's ear, and grinned at the reaction on the boy's face. Ariel's face went from neutral, to surprised, to anger. "There's no way what you told me is true. You can't possibly be....I mean....you're a fucking wolf!" Asmodeus just smiled as he watched Ariel's world come crashing down, satisfaction painted all over his muzzle. "Yes Ariel, it's true. I am your father. As for how, you forget, I'm a demon. I can possess other bodies. The body of my host, the one responsible for giving my D.N.A. to you, was thrown into a crematorium, three months before you were born. Anyways, that's besides the point. How does it feel to find out you're half demon?" asked Asmodeus with a smile. Ariel could only looked at Asmodeus' eyes, trying to see if the Demon Wolf was lying, but, unfortunately for him, the Demon Wolf's eyes told Ariel it was all for real.

That confirmation, what Ariel considered to be his ultimate death sentence, finally broke any, and all sanity Ariel had left. Yelling out in anger, Ariel got off the ground, threw the gravel he had in his hands into Asmodeus' face, blinding the Demon Wolf, then tackled him to the floor. 11 years of revenge, and the shock of finding out he was half demon, lent Ariel strength as he started punching the Demon Wolf in the face, and chest. With each punch, Ariel emphasized it with the words, "Puto Come Mierda. Te voy a matar!" Ariel kept punching the Demon Wolf until his knuckles were bloody. Once that happened, he reached into a pocket, and took out a special kind of knife. With a maniacal grin on his face, Ariel stuck the knife into Asmodeus' right leg, making sure that the tip of the blade hit the bone. As the Demon Wolf let out a howl of pain, Ariel just grinned evilly at him, and pressed a button on the bottom of the knife's handle. All of sudden, 800 psi of air exited from an air cylinder in the handle, entered the puncture wound the knife made, and made the leg joint explode. Asmodeus' eyes widened, and a howl of pain loud enough to shatter the glass of the school, escaped from the Demon Wolf's muzzle. As Ariel listened to the howl, the maniacal smile on his face slowly faded away, until it was completely gone. Once the smile disappeared, Ariel leaned in close to Asmodeus' ear, held the Demon Wolf's head still, and said, "you may be my father, but I'm still going to kill you. Oh, and dad? This fight still ain't over yet." With those words, Ariel picked Asmodeus up by his shirt, and tossed him into a wall from an adjoining building.

Already in shock from losing his right leg, Asmodeus didn't feel any pain from being tossed at the wall. Not missing a step, Ariel picked Asmodeus up again, held him up against the wall, and started punching him in the stomach. Asmodeus let out a grunt each and every time Ariel's blows landed. After twenty punches, Ariel let Asmodeus fall back to the floor. The Demon Wolf's head rolled to the side, blood dripping out of the muzzle. With a cold look in his face, Ariel reached for the final object he had in his utility belt. No noise came from the angel sword Ariel kept as he pressed the point against Asmodeus' neck. Feeling the tip of the sword's blade pressing into his neck, Asmodeus carefully moved his head to look Ariel in the eye. With no emotion in his eyes, Ariel asked Asmodeus one final question. "Any last words?" Asmodeus just smiled, and gave his reply, "Expect the unexpected." With those words, Asmodeus suddenly disappeared, leaving behind a cloud of black smoke. Ariel's eyes widened, not believing what he just saw. I knew that demons had superpowers, but come on, teleporting? That's a fucking cliche. More than a little upset, Ariel started walking around the roof, searching for Asmodeus. As he searched, he failed to notice that the Demon Wolf was right behind him, completely healed, and carrying a sharp stake in his paws.

As Ariel turned a corner, Asmodeus finally made his move. With a sudden swiftness, Asmodeus lunged, the sharp stake held out in front of him, and stabbed Ariel in the back. Ariel's body stiffened as he felt the stake enter his back, and exit out his stomach. With shaky hands, Ariel touched the stake, without looking at it, hoping that his fingers would pass through it. Unfortunately, it was not his lucky day. Ariel's fingers were able to close around the stake, confirming that it was real. He looked over his shoulders at Asmodeus, and asked the Demon Wolf one question, "why would you kill me from behind?" Asmodeus just smirked, and said, "it's nothing personal....son." At those words, Asmodeus let go of the stake, which let Ariel fall down to his knees. As soon as Ariel was on his knees, Asmodeus went in front of him, and got down on one knee. With a gentle paw, Asmodeus started combing through Ariel's hair, trying to make it look clean. Ariel just looked at him as if to ask 'why?' Asmodeus quickly put his curiosity to rest. "It's my first, and final act as a father. Oh, and by the way, do you have any last words?" In response to Asmodeus' question, Ariel looked down at the angel sword in his hands, then up at Asmodeus. With four words, Ariel sealed Asmodeus' fate. "Expect, the unexpected...dad."

As soon as the last syllable went past his lips, Ariel, in his last act as a living person, stabbed Asmodeus directly in the chest with the angel sword. A gasp came out of Asmodeus' muzzle as he felt the blade pierce his heart. A second later, a bright, white light came out of Asmodeus' eyes, and mouth, filling the night sky. The light could be seen for miles around the building. After five minutes, the light finally faded away, and left behind Asmodeus' host body, and Ariel's own lifeless body.

Location: Ariel's former home. Time: 12:31 a.m. Date: August 12th, 3028.

At exactly the same time that Ariel and Asmodeus died, Eric let out a loud gasp as his soul was suddenly put back into his body. Blinking his eyes, the lion quickly noticed that a blanket was covering, and quickly tore it off his body. As he got up, a sharp pain from his chest made him wince. Looking down, Eric noticed that the wound that Asmodeus had given him, had healed, and had left behind a red scar. Eyebrows raised, Eric tentatively brushed his paw along the scar, checking to see if it was real. "Ya know, that scar is real. That, and the fact that you're still alive." Eric turned his head towards the direction of where he heard those words, and immediately started backing away. Death was standing right in front of him. His eyes wide, Eric started stuttering, his brain not comprehending what was in front of him. "Stop babbling boy, I need to get you to the roof of F.D.R. High school. Your boyfriend has just died." said Death as placed his hand on Eric's forehead. A minute later, Eric and Death were surrounded in a white fog. The fog, which was too thick to see through, seemed to give off a feeling of movement. Almost as soon as the fog had appeared, it disappeared, leaving Eric and Death standing in front of two bodies.

Once the fog left, Eric immediately noticed Ariel's lifeless body. Eric's eyes widened, and he immediately ran over to his dead boyfriend. "Not you, not you. We just became boyfriends, and I came back to life. Why are you dead?" Eric asked himself as he kneeled down by Ariel's body, and started stroking the boy's face. Death looked on at the sight with an impassive look on his skeletal face. After a minute of just watching Eric cry, Death finally walked up to the lion, and placed a bony hand on his shoulder. "Your boyfriend decided that your life was more important than his. He gave it up to bring you back. Before you say anything, Ariel only did it because his only meaning in life had been to kill Asmodeus. That, and he didn't want you to be dead because of what he's done." Flicking his ear to show that he was listening to Death's words, Eric slowly nodded his head, and got up from the ground. Turning around, he was surprised to find that Death was gone, and so was the body of who Eric assumed was Asmodeus. A little shocked, Eric looked around for them, but found that they were well, and truly gone. Sighing, Eric turned back to Ariel's body. Noticing that the boy's eyes were still opened, Eric bent down to close them. As he did so, Eric felt new tears start welling up in his eyes. Not caring about who heard him, Eric started to weep again.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today, to mourn the death of Ariel Perez." Eric looked on from his spot in the crowd as the pastor spoke those words. "Sadly, this 17 year old child will be joining his mother today, due to the act of an unknown assailant. Even more sadly, Ariel only has all of you to remember him by, as his entire family are all deceased." said the pastor as he gestured to the crowd with his hands. As the pastor continued speaking, Eric's mind started to slowly detach itself from the moment, not wanting relive finding Ariel's body. Finally, after another ten minutes, Eric, who was now acting on auto-pilot, got out of his seat, and followed the crowd to Ariel's coffin. Once he was able to stand in front of the boy's coffin, Eric looked down at the body, small tears streaming down his muzzle. Just before he walked away, Eric gave his final farewell to Ariel. "I'll miss you. There was no better person that I could find to be my boyfriend. And, I will continue your legacy of hunting the supernatural. Goodbye Ariel, and I love you." With those words, Eric walked away from Ariel's coffin, and the cemetery itself. Once out of the cemetery, Eric took off his suit, and tie as he walked over to Ariel's Camaro. Stopping by the driver side door, Eric regarded the cemetery with saddened eyes. A split second later, he slipped on a pair of shades, and got into the car. With a cold look on his face, Eric turned on the car, put it in gear, and was soon leaving a trail of dust behind him as he drove away from the cemetery.

Ariel let out a loud yell of pain as a demon struck him across the back with a hooked whip. "How does it feel Ariel? How does it feel to endure the pain you've caused us?" asked the demon as he kept whipping Ariel. The demon, who had revealed earlier that he was called Bloodlial, laughed as he heard Ariel's cries of pain. Still laughing, Bloodlial struck Ariel once more, then dropped the whip onto the floor. Grateful for the reprieve, Ariel started panting as he felt the cuts the whip made, start to burn like fire. Gritting his teeth, Ariel, who had gotten his hands tied to the ceiling, and his feet tied to the floor of a big room, raised his head to look at the demonic face of Bloodlial. Faster than he could blink, Bloodlial was suddenly in Ariel's face, and holding the boy's neck in his claws. "I've made you the same offer for the past thirty years now. I'm going to ask again. We always torture the souls who end up here. You however, are a special case. We can either keep torturing you, or you decide to accept the fact that you're a half demon, and let us start training you to be like us. What is your answer?" asked Bloodlial. Ariel looked at Bloodlial with tired eyes, and then spat in the demon's face. Anger flashed in Bloodlial's eyes, and he slapped Ariel across the face. "Have it your way. Let's continue the torture." With those words, Bloolial waved his claws in the air. A second later, a colt magnum revolver appeared in his claws. Smiling, Bloodlial checked to see if the gun was still loaded, and was happy to find that it was. Chuckling, Bloodlial pulled back the hammer of the gun, and aimed the weapon at Ariel. "I hope you enjoy this next torture method." With those words, Bloodlial pulled the gun's trigger.

I don't know. I'm not going to answer any questions. I'm enabling my right to remain silent. Anyways, at one point during the chapter, Ariel spoke in Spanish. The words, which were: Puto Come Mierda. Te voy a matar! are translated as: shit eating bitch. I'm going to kill you! Now that I've given you the translation, onto what's going to happen next. This is the last chapter of book one of this series. Book two will start sometime soon, and will pick up where this chapter left off. Now that you've gotten all that information, constructive criticism is welcomed, and non-constructive criticism is unwelcomed. Now that you know all that, UNTIL NEXT TIME. GOOD DAY, AND GOOD NIGHT!
