Chapter 2

My very first friend

"Wait mammy don't go" a little blue Eevee run's at full pace towards a shadow shaped like a Flareon sitting waiting in the middle of a pink flower bed. "MOMMY" he blinks and the shadow figure disappears leaving the poor Eevee by himself, the Eevee trembles and starts to cry.

"Why me, why me why me"

"Xion"

"Its not fair"

"Wake up"

"All I wanted is to be with my mammy but I'll never get that again, NEVER!" the Eevee cries his little heart out while sitting in the middle of the pink flower bed, suddenly the place starts getting hot "*Sniff* huh whys it getting hot"

"For a small Eevee you are pretty strong"

"Huh?" the Eevee opens his eyes and finds himself in the middle of a fire while he's laying on the bed, he jumps up and screams top of his voice "FIIIIIRRRRRRRREEE" he clings onto the roof and looks down, he sees a Flareon chuckling away while staring at him, his eyes start to twitch. "MOM NEXT TIME TRY SPLASHING WATER ON ME INSTEAD"

"But I hate water dear and besides this is more fun"

"FUN-FUN-YOU SAYING BURNING YOUR SON IS FUN" he rages while cling onto the ceiling, Fay giggles and spins around flapping her tail over the fire, the fire starts to die down and the Eevee drops and lands safely on the bed, he gets up and turns to his mom.

"I'm glad YOU had fun cause I didn't"

"Well you wet the bed so I needed to dry them"

"What I never wetted the be-" he pauses and remembers the dream he just had, he remembers running after a shadow and crying "I was crying wasn't I". He looks down at his feet and starts to have tears in his eyes Fay walks over and nuzzles into back of his ear.

"Yes you were but that's ok you were just told yesterday that your parents were dead"

"b-but why should I be sad if I can't remember them, *Sniff* if I don't remember my parents then I should have no feelings towards them I don't understand" the Eevee starts crying again, he cannot control his emotions or feelings, he does not understand why he is blue and he has forgot the past but he has the intelligence to understand what's around him.

"WHY ME! What makes ME so special compare to any other Eevees why did my parents have to die, why do I have to be the weapon WHY!" he lays flat on his belly and puts his paws above his eyes try to wipe away the tears.

"Shhhhhh there little Xion you loved your parents that's why your sad you might not remember them but your heart does"

"*Sniff* m-my heart?" Fay climbs on the bed, picks up Xion and raps him round her arms, cuddles into him and covers him with her tail making him feel protected and love, he closes his eyes and snuggles into Fay fur.

"Yes your heart, I bet when I hugged you last night you remember that feeling before, the feeling when your real mother hugged you" his ears twitched when he heard what Fay said.

"That's right I remembered straight away, I thought I was with my mom but....dam" more tears were made from Xion, Fay tightens her hug and starts to rock Xion back and forth while singing a lullaby try to calm and relax Xion, the two stayed together before moving for couple minutes.

When the lullaby has finished Xion stopped crying and relaxed a little, he look at his mam and smiled "Thanks mom I think I'll be alright now"

"You sure dear I don't my little toughie to go softy" she putts one her paws on his head and starts roughing up his coat.

"Yes mam I'll be fine" she stops, puts him down on the bed safely, jumps off the bed and walks towards the door, Xion shakes his head and tries to fix his fur with his paw.

"Oh I almost forgot" she turns her head and looks back at Xion, Xion tilts his head while smiling "we'll be having my friend round tonight and she's bringing her daughter, she's the same age as you so make sure you get a bath or shower" she walks out leaving Xion all by himself in his bed.

"A bath or shower huh, I guess I'll take a bath could do with a rest from all that motional crying, I need to get stronger dad prom-" Xion looks up and turns to the bed his mam and dad sleeps in and noticed that there was no sign of Leo.

"I wonder where he is better go ask mam" he jumps off his bed and walks towards the door, before he takes his exit he turns his head and stares at his bed and shudders "I hope mom doesn't try set me alight next time she said she was having fun" he shakes his head and leaves the room, walks through the corridor to the living room and enters the room.

"Huh where is everyone" he sits and looks around the whole room.

"The living room the place where I woke up and saw both my new parents, there's the cushion I was laying on near the TV and two other cushions they look twice the size of mine guessing their are moms and dads, there's the front door far right....nice looking door it has a semi-circle glass at the top and a push handle, of cause we don't have thumbs so we have no use for grab able ones, there's a small table top with heart scale on it must be from dad to mam heehee and last the square table in the middle I'm guessing that's used when visitors come round".

Fay walks through and sees Xion looking around the room like he's lost and couldn't and trying to find a way out, he hasn't notice Fay coming through so she secretly and quietly moves behind Xion without him knowing, she stands on two feet and lift two paws in the air, she makes a massive grin and prepares to grab him.

"GOTCHA!" she grabs Xion and squeezing him really tight so he can't break free.

"AH-WA-EH-WAT" he starts to panic and jumps around trying to break free from the hug, after the panic attack he stops and tries to catch his breath, he starts panting quickly and lets his ears drop, Fay starts giggling at Xion and loosen up a bit for him to breathe easier, his ears twitch and lift up, he looks down at the paws and realizes that Fay has got him "MAAAAAAAM"

"Yeees dear?"

"Please let go of me" she kisses his head and lets go, Xion jumps on the ground, shakes all of his body and starts stretching all his body.

"Hehehe you look sooo cute I couldn't resist" Xion turned around and rolled his eyes.

"Where's dad mam"

"He's at work dear he'll be back later"

"But I thought he was going to train me"

"He'll train you later right now I want you clean and fresh for the neighbours"

"Neighbours?" he looks at Fay with a puzzled look while tilting his head.

"Yes my friend and her daughter they coming round later so hurry up and get cleaned"

"Um ye slight problem where's bathroom?" Fay *SMACK!*!s her forehead and realized that he only came yesterday so he has no clue where to go.

"Right this way Xion" they start walking back into the corridor same way to their bedroom but instead of turning right they turn left and go into a white tiled room, there was a silver shower head and glass cubical in a corner and a gap in the ground with a silver tap and two silver button one on each side one button had red and the other had blue.

"Wow...soooo white" he glared at the bathroom Fay giggled and went towards the bath "oh mam can I go in the bath please"

"Of cause dear" she presses the red button and water came out of the tap in couple of seconds the bath was filled "there you dear ill go prepare breakfast for you", Xion leans forward and looks into the steaming water.

"Are you sure it won't burn me it looks really hot"

"Yes if you can handle ring of fire for long time I'm sure you can handle this"

"True but that wasn't by-" Fay goes behind him and headbutts him into the water his eyes widen as he moves forward and towards the water "choice?", when he almost hits the water he stuck his paws out and squinted his eyes.

*SPLASH*

"HOLYSHIT ITS BOILING!!" he starts jumping up and down and swimming about, a couple minutes later he calms down and floats above the water and starts to relax, Fay giggles and walks out the room "ye you better walk away"

"I HEARD THAT Xion" Xion jumps and dunks his whole body under water but leaving his nose and eyes above the water, when it went quiet, he swims around for while letting the warm water relax his muscles.

"Aaahhhh never thought bath could be sooooo relaxing" he stays silent and floats around letting his body bave.

"Neighbours huh I wonder if they like mom....I hope not I don't think I could last a second with TWO of them, and mam said her friend bringing a daughter....a girl? Round about my age" he smiles and closes his eyes, then drifts off into a dream.

"Beware my son"

"Huh" Xion wakes up and he finds himself in the field again surrounded by pink flower bed "WA where am I" he rubs his eyes and looks around.

"Beware Xion life might seem relaxing now but you must train and protect your new family now"

"Who said that" he gets up and looks around, in a distance he could see a shadow shaped like a Jolteon "was it you" he gulps and gets into attacking position preparing himself even though he could feel his legs tremble and his heart pounding.

"Xion calm down you can trust me"

"How can I trust a stranger? What's going on" he grinds his teeth while standing holding his position

"Xion you must not let your feelings or fear take over you if you do consequences will happen" the shadow starts to fade and disappear while Xion watches.

"Wait what do you mean don't let my feelings or fear take over me, dam he's gone" the Eevee drops onto the flaw with a puzzled look but also bit of relief, he closes his eye and lets out a huge sigh

"Who was that and what did he mean by my feelings is he saying if I keep going with my feeling something bad will happen....this is to confusing I just want to be back in that bath" he opens his eyes and looks around noticing he's back in the bathroom, he jumps out of the bath and shake is entire body.

As he shakes water splashes everywhere, when he stops the whole bathroom was like a swimming pool it was all wet with droplets of water splashing down "well that worked I'm still wet *sigh* I know I'm not going to like this"

"MAAAAM HOW DO I DRY MYSELF" he sits and waits for his mam to answer back "MAAAAAAM"

"I'm here dear don't worry" Fay walks in the room and smiles at Xion "awww don't you look sooo cute"

"Stop it mam just tell me how dry myself" he starts blushing and looks away from his mother.

"Well I gotta better idea" she takes a deep breath, Xion eyes widen and he starts to panic he try to run the side but slips on the floor and lands on his back, Fay exhale shooting fireballs around Xion

"NOT AGAIN" he tries to escape second time but its too late and he's stuck in the middle of the fire ring no way getting out.

"MAM YOU SAID YOU WOULDNT DO THIS AGAIN" He dropped down and covered his head trying to endure the heat, he moans a little and starts repeating what the Jolteon said "don't let my fear take over me" he constantly says it.

"Don't worry dear it will dry you quicker" Fay turns and wraths her tail where the fire is and the flames starts to fade away.

"Phew thought was going to be Eevee stew" he wipes the sweat off his forehead and walks towards his mam "I'm begging you this time don't do that again"

"Hehehe ok grumpy shiftry breakfast is ready" they both started walking towards the corridor and through the front room.

"Yes I'm starving what we having?" he said while slurping his lips.

"Well I made boiled chesto berries and toast"

"Toast?" he looks at Fay with a puzzled look.

"Toast is bread but been heated up so it nice and crispy also you add milktank butter for extra taste" Xion jumps towards the kitchen while Fay walks beside him.

They both go in the kitchen, Xion stops and has a good look around "-the kitchen, this is where I had that bowl of berries, now that was yummy, let's see: there's the surface where mom got the berries its small and white I understand why its small because we can't stand on two legs but why she pick white thought it would be red since she's a Flareon....I'll ask later, next to the surface there's a silver fridge with a button on it I'm guessing that button to open on it, to the right is a table that's where we sat to have the berries looks similar to the one in the front room and last there's the door to the back I haven't been out back yet but I can imagine its going to be big with lots flowers and swings can't wait check it out-"

"Xion do you want breakfast or not" she giggles as she watches Xion come back into reality, he walks over to the table and notices there's two chesto berries in a cup and orange looking things on the side.

"Are those toasts?" he points to the orange strips.

"Yes they are try one" Xion picks one up and munches on it, he grins and takes a second strip and munches on it, he gives a cheerful moan to say that he likes the taste he picks up third strip and prepare to nibble it "wait Xion why don't you dip the toast in your berry" he looks at the berry and notices the top of it has been cut off and there's liquid flowing in it "go on put that toast in the chesto and eat it" he did as Fay said and ate it, he let out a grin and started to eat each one.

Few minutes later after finishing breakfast.

"Ahhh that's was delicious thanks mam"

"Your welcome dear" Fay started to pour tea in her cup and stir it with a stick she looks up and notices Xion looking puzzled "Ruby for your thoughts dear" Xion blinks and shake his head and looks at the surface behind Fay.

"Mom why is the surface white?"

"That's a random question to ask"

"I was just curious you could've had many other colours and your Flareon so I thought it would've been red but instead you pick white why"

"Its was your fathers choice colour, the colour reminds him of his rings that's on him"

"Huh white ring? Why does dad have white rings I thought umbreons had yellow rings"

"You'll have to ask him that better he told you instead me" she picks her tea and takes a sip before putting it back down. "Why don't you go in the front room and watch something on TV" Fay says with a serious face on.

"-Was it something I said-?"

"Ok how do I turn it on?"

"There's a button in front of the TV on just press it"

"Right well thanks for breakfast" Xion gives Fay a massive hug before leaving, Fay smiles while sipping on her cup, Xion leaves while wagging his tail.

He stretches when he enters the living room then walks towards the TV "button button where's the button, aah ha" he pushes the button in and the screen pops two Pokémon mating out "err erm ok maybe some cartoons or something" he starts to blush but doesn't understand why but instead of thinking about it he starts to press random buttons and eventually cartoons appear, he grins and goes back to rest on his the cushion. "*YAWN* I feel sleepy might as well relax for bit" he starts dozing trying to stay awake to watch TV.

He eventually falls asleep and enters a dream.

"Xion.......Xion!" the voice gets louder and Angrier "XIIIIOOOOON!"

"Waa....*YAWN*" Xion opens his eyes slowly and notice a pink floating thing in front of him "ah great 1st a shadow 2nd a shadow that talks and now a pink thing what's next"

*SMACK!*

"Don't ever call me pink thing again don't you know anything about 1st impressions" Xions eyes started to swirl, he shakes his head and opens his eyes wide.

"Errrr....wah" he stands up and looks around, he blinks and realizes that he's back at the flower bed "is this a joke three times in a row" he sighs and looks back at the mysterious creature, "sooo what do you want talk about"

"Ok first let me introduce myself I am Mew and I was sent here to help you on your journey"

"Journey? You make sound like I'm on a quest" he lifts one eye brow giving Mew funny look.

"Humph sorry for coming then" Mew crosses and turns its back on Xion.

"*Sigh* I'm sorry dude I didn't mean to hurt your feelings"

*SMACK!*

"I'm a GIRL you stupid idiot cant you tell by my voice and eye lashes" Xion *SMACK!*!s face first to the ground causing him to be dizzy again.

"Errrr" he holds his head while holding his rage in and stands backup then looks at the Mew, he stops for second and blinks "huh you look kinda cute" Mew starts blushing and starts rubbing the back of her head.

"Oh..err..right, erh erm, ok remember you said you wanted to get stronger well I'm here to give you strength and zero-fear"

"WAAA how can you give me strength and the zero-fear by whizzing a magic wand" he said while waving his arms around.

"Idiot I am Mew I can do anything" she gotten closer until their eyes were level "keep that in mind" she nodded while saying.

"Ok ok sheesh, anyways what is zero-fear?

"You really are stupid its err like your not scared of anything and it gives you power to fight without hesitation"

"Without hesitation huh"

"Duh that's what I just said"

Xion rolled his eyes and crouched down "if I have zero-fear wont that mean I'll have no feelings" he looked at the floor thinking deeply what he should do leaving a long silence.

"Yes and no" Mew broke the silence making Xion puzzled and surprised.

"Yes and no?" still looking down floor.

"What am I talking gibberish.....*sigh*" she moves closer to Xion grabs his head and lifts it up so there eyes meet "listen carefully you will lose some emotions but you will not lose them all, you will still love and care you will also have joy and happiness but they will be weak and won't show as much, but you will lose fear, sadness, jealousy, surprise, anger and so on, do you understand what I am saying" Xion nodded still in deep thought "you might lose all emotions but you will still be happy that's what I'm trying to get across"

There was long silence Mew didn't understand what the problem was and started to get less patient while Xion was still in thought "if I have zero-fear then I got no problem right but this is all happening to fast" the silence broke and Mew let go of the Eevees head making Xion look back at the ground.

"Oh right I forgot you only woke up yesterday that's probably why your struggling to answer" she rubbed her arm up and down and started to blush a bit "how about this ask your father tonight to spare with you and make your decision then" Xion head moved speed of light looking up at the Mew "can you really do that"

"Of cause I can like I said I-"

"I'm Mew I can do anything you said" he smirked, Mew started to blush again.

"Good at least you know ok I'll be going now, please think about it ok" little small blue orbs start flowing round her "before I leave be prepared you will meet someone who will like you allot make sure not to hurt her ok" Xion looked at Mew with a puzzled look and then a sudden flash the Mew and the orbs vanished.

"A girl liking me......I wonder" he looks around and there's nobody around just the pink flowers flowing "Mew huh, she was really cute, zero-fear sounds like a move, she said ask my father to spare with me then I'll know the answer....well worth a try.... but first how do I get of here" he blinked a couple of times, trying to remember how he got back before, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, couple seconds later he opened them and saw the TV again "how long was I gone for" he looked around for a clock "1:39 pm when did I fall asleep" he shuck his and started to watch TV again "Mew was a funny girl hope I'll see her again, maybe she was giving a hint saying she was the girl....nah"

KNOCK KNOCK

"Huh was that the door" Xions heart starts pounding as he stares at the brown, foggy window .

"I'll get it now Xion make sure to be polite ok they nice neighbours and very close friends" Fay rubbed his head and walked towards the door Xion heart started to beet faster.

"I-i cant feel my legs why am I getting all sweaty they only other Eevees from this town so why am I scared, ewww I hate this feeling I should've accepted the Mews offer back then" he started to breath bit faster and cuddled himself into his cushion making him feel safe "what they going be like, Eevees are brown not blue, will they freak out and attack or will they stare and make me feel uncomftable I don't like this at all, I wish this feeling would just vanish already" he puts his head into the cushion wishing the feeling would go away, he hear the door opening.

"Hey Fay how've u bin"

"Glad you could come round Sapphire I get quite lonely when Leo goes to work"

"Awww well I heard that you took in an Eevee and not any ordinary Eevee"

"That's right how did you know"

"Well people saw Leo coming in at night"

"Oh yes that might be why"

"I brought Amber along thought maybe your little Eevee could use the company while we have a long catch up"

"Sounds like good idea" Xion lifts up his head a bit so he is able to peek at the door see whose there.

"Ok ok calm you can see a vaporeon with eye lashes that must be Sapphire and a little brown Eevee with eye lashes that must be Amber, I remember Mew saying girls have eye lashes so Amber and Sapphire are girls....WHAT AM I SAYING I SOUND CRAZY!"

"Hiya Mrs. Flareon"

"Oh Amber you haven't changed a single bit well my Eevee soMewhere in there he has never met another Eevee before so be careful not to scare him"

"OKIE DOKIE"

"Awww aren't you the sweetest little thing well why don't you come in better in than out right" Amber ran through fays legs went in the middle of the room, Sapphire walked beside Fay, then both of walked towards Amber.

"Amber isn't your home you shouldn't run around like a Dotrio" Ambers ears sank, she turned around and looked into her mother's eyes "now apologize to Fay"

"Its ok Sapphire my home can be Ambers home to, just like the old days where your home was my home" she giggled as she saw her friend blush a bit.

"O-ok if you say so Fay" the little Eevees ears popped up and her tail started wagging

"Mrs Flareon where's sion then" Fay giggled even more leaving Amber with a puzzled look on her face.

"Sorry Amber but my sons name is Xion not sion"

"Zion?"

"No xi-on"

"Xion?"

"Yes you got it there" Amber jumped and started to run around the two of while saying Xion.

"Sheesh mam you giggling way to much have you been sniffing laughing gas or been taking funny berries and this girl sound a bit annoying I hope they don't see me" Fay turns her head towards the TV and notices Xion peeking out of the cushion "OH SHIIIT she can see me"

"Hey Amber why don't you look near the cushions over"

Xion starts crying and shakes his head "-MAM YOUR SO CRUEL! ohh something tells me I should be running-" Amber turns her head towards the cushions and notices a blue face.

"Huh I thought Eevees were brown?"

"They are hunny but fays little Eevee is special now why don't you go get him so we can introduce our selves"

"That's a great idea go on Amber go get my son from the cushions"

"1st you burn me 2nd you push me in the boiling bath tub and now your getting a girl to hunt me out of my cushion....YOUR SO CRUEL!"

Amber rushes towards the cushions "IM COMING Xion" she dashes faster and jumps on to the cushion, Xion blasts out of the cushion and into fays fur "XIIIIOOoon where did you go"

"errrr mam your so cruel to me" Xions eyes were spinning around, both Fay and Sapphire started to laugh having tears in their eyes Amber turns around and notices a blue Eevee on the floor she rushes over to them.

"Oh I'm sorry Xion I didn't mean to hurt you" she stands over Xion with a worried look, Xion holds his head and get a good look at Amber.

"I'm ok just a bit dizzy" he tries to stand up but starts moving side to side making him lose his balance and fall down, Xion lays on the floor and starts to get embarrassed and covers his eyes with his ears, Fay and Sapphire start to calm down a little bit and start wiping their eyes.

"Ok ok that's enough children" Fay picks up Xion by her teeth and stands him up this time he has total balance, "come on Xion there's nothing be shy about now move them ears away from them eyes" Xion slowly removes one ear and gets a good look what in front of him, he could see Sapphire and Amber sitting with a smile on their face, then he removes the other ear slowly and looks at Amber.

"Wow for a blue Eevee you look really cute I'm Sapphire Ambers mam, I'm also your next door neighbour you can come round anytime you like" she walks over to Xion and rub his head.

"Come round yours, you would have to pay me to go round"

"And I'm Amber" she dashes over Xion "its nice to meet you Xion" Xion backs down a bit and starts to blush.

"Well if you call blasting someone out cushion nice then ye nice meet you to....but I can't really say that oh first time meet girl and I'm all shy great"

"Err ye umm its nice to meet you to A-Amber and thank you Mrs. veperon" Fay smiles and nuzzles into his head.

"Now was that hard?"

"Do you really want me to answer that"

"Xion why don't you take Amber outside the back"

"Ok mam but what are you two going to do"

"Me and your mam have some catching to do so go on run along"

"Come on Xion I wanna go play" Amber grabs Xion's arm and drags him towards the kitchen.

"You owe me BIG time mam" he lets Amber drag him through the kitchen out the back into the garden, Xion's eyes grew bigger as he looked around the garden "its exactly like what I was thinking; there's a metal cream garden swing with black cushions on for you to sit and relax on, there's a mini waterfall and a pond the water looks so glamorous from here and a err reddish shed, I wonder what's in there"

"Reality to Xion, are you there" Xion blinks and turns his head to Amber that has a worried look on their face.

"Sorry Amber I've never been in a garden before"

"Really so this means this is your first time and your spending it with me!?" Amber started to get really excited and moved closer to Xion.

"Err ye I guess" Amber smiles and walks over to the garden swing "w-wait for me"

"Huh why does the floor feel different" he looks at the floor and sees his feet in the grass "so this is what grass feels like its so weird"

"Xion guess what" Xion looks up and sees Amber really face really close to his face, Amber raises her paw and places on Xion's head and smirks "tag your it"

"Tag?" Amber backs away and nods

"Ye its a game now you have to chase me and tag me"

"How do I tag you"

"Its easy you place your paw on me and say-"

"Tag your it" Xion quickly ran over while Amber guard was down place his paw on her head, he giggles and starts to run away "you should never let your guard down even to a friend"

"A friend" Amber smiled as Xion said that and then started to chase after Xion "you better run faster Xion if you don't want to lose"

few hours later and allot of tagging

"I'm..so...tired" Xion drops on the ground, sprawls out and starts gasping for air

"Your...pretty..fast...Xion" Amber drops next to Xion, sprawls out and starts gasping for air, they layed in silence for a while.

"Hey....why don't we on the swing" he turns his head towards Amber and looks at her in the eye

"Wa wait has she been staring at me all this time" Xion starts to blush "Amber please say something your making me feel uneasy" Amber smiles.

"Your cute for blue Eevee" she closes her eyes and starts to giggle.

"WAAAAAAA not the answer I wanted to hear.....she said I'm cute" Amber got up and walked towards Xion.

"Come on then I thought you said you wanted go on the swing" Xion get up and starts walking with Amber towards the swing "so Xion do you know why your fur is blue?" Xion stopped and looked at the ground.

"Do you really want to know"

"Ye but if you don't want talk about it that's fine" he looks up and stares at Amber, he smile and walks over to the swing and jumps on "how about this" Amber jumps onto the cushion next to Xion "I'll tell you one of my secrets if you tell me how you got a blue coat"

"Are you kidding me, a little secret doesn't compare to my story but if I tell her she might understand how I feel"

"Erm well I don't really know what happened I was just told by my dad how I got it"

"Ok ill spice up the deal two secrets" Xion rolled his eyes and stared at Amber.

"Fine but this is only what I've been told " Amber smiles and nods, Xion gulps and takes a deep breath and looks at the floor "my real parents were murdered and I was kidnapped and was experimented on by scientist, the soaked me in a blue liquid for 10 years, I absorbed that liquid and it stained my fur that's why I am blue, my new father saved me, Leo I think he's called and he took me in, I just woke up yesterday, Fay and Leo have adopted me so from now on they my parents, I would be sad about my real parents but I can't remember them so I have no feelings towards them, I promised myself I would get revenge one day and that's the story" he turns his head to Amber notices there's tears in her eyes "sorry Amber I didn't mean to make you cry"

"no need apologize you silly thing" she wipes her eyes and shakes her head "that sounds sad I was hoping for a nicer story"

"How can you get blue fur in a nice way someone spray painted me blue and I couldn't get the colour out"

"So you can't remember anything"

"Nothing, I still have the intelligence to know things like Pokémon's and food"

"Not even your real parents that sound sad"

"Its true I can't remember them but why should I be sad if I can't remember them, they could've been anything, good or bad, but I do what she getting at"

"Anyways how about telling me one of your secrets huh" Amber perked her ears up and started to blush.

"Err wait Xion you don't want to hear one of MINE stupid secrets right" Xion raised one eyebrow making Amber blush even more "fine erm let's see"

"Come on Amber what's your deepest darkest secrets" Xion chuckled as he saw Amber blushing more.

"Ok one time I saw my mam and dad doing something it made me feel all nice and good but what were they doing I don't know" Amber starts panting a bit but shake her head and smiles.

"Err ok I guess I'll count that as one now for second one"

"Hmm I got idea meet me on top of the waterfall and I'll tell you"

"I don't know Amber that waterfall looks dangerous" Xion puts a worried look on and stares at the top of the waterfall.

"Come on Xion pleaaaaaaase" she looks at Xion with big googly eyes making Xion feel guilty.

"Ok ok we'll go but be careful"

"Yeee lets go" Amber and Xion jump of the swing and walk towards the waterfall.

"Well at least ill get to know something else about her but why do I have a bad feeling about this" Xion and Amber reach the bottom waterfall "wow the water looks so clean I can see the bottom, it looks really deep I hope I don't have to swim anytime soon"

"Hey Xion there's a path behind the waterfall"

"What seriously?" Xion walks over to Amber, she points to her left and there is a path going to the other side and a gap in the middle "hey there's a gap I wonder what in it"

"Well go on you first"

"Eh lady first"

"Xion pleaaaaase"

"Fine sheesh"

Xion walks behind the waterfall as he does this his heart start to beet faster making it hard to move further, he pushes himself onto the wall so he feels safer and continues moving, Amber starts walking behind him as he moves closer to the gap, they both make it into the gap away from the waterfall.

"Phew I thought I was going to die my heart is still beating fast eww I don't like this feeling, hmmm now I think about it, WHY DOES MAM AND DAD HAVE A WATERFALL AND A BIG GAP IN THE MIDDLE BEHIND THE WATERFALL"

"Well we made it in one piece heehee Xion"

"Ye I guess"

"Hey look there some stairs lets go" Xion took a deep breath and started to walk up the stairs.

"These steps go on forever are almost Thereeeeee" Xion and Amber have reached the top and they can see the whole garden "oh wow this looks amazing I can see the houses the swing and the err shed it so cool"

"Huh" he turns his head to his left and he notices Amber resting her head on Xions tuft fur with half open eyes and a smile.

"My last secret is that I was really excited to meet you, I have friends but none of them are boys and your also my new next door neighbour its like a dream come true" Xion leans his head onto Ambers head and closes his eyes "thank you Xion I hope we can be friends forever"

"We will be, your my first friend and I had fun today I'm glad you came"

"Really?" she looks up to Xion and glances at his eyes he nods and smiles, Amber smiles and gives Xion a long kiss on the mouth Xion starts to blush but does not fight it.

"Wow I'm kissing a girl, wait is this the girl Mew was talking about well I hope so she nice and cute"

They separate, Amber moves away, walks forward near the edge of the cliff looking at the view "A-Amber i-i erm" Amber starts to giggle and turns around, Xion looks down at Ambers feet trying not to look into Ambers eyes, but he quickly spots piece of the cliff starting to brake "Amber MOVE" Amber looks up in shock what he said then looks at the ground but before she could move the cliff broke "Amber!" everything turned grey and stopped except him.

"Do you want to save your friend"

"Huh who said that" Xion stands looks around he can nothing everything has stopped, he tries to move but his body won't listen.

"Do you know why your body can't move because you are in fear, fear is the worst emotion to feel you cannot move or react"

"Then how do I beat fear tell me"

"You need to have zero-fear" Xion eyes pop open as he heard the unknown voice speak about zero-fear

"That's the same one Mew told me about"

"Yes if you like I can lend you a temporary zero-fear to save your friend"

"YES please" Xion reacted with no hesitation preparing himself for the worst.

"Ok be careful Xion" Suddenly a flash, Xion closes his eyes and concentrates on his mind "Xion are you ready to save your friend"

"Yes" his voice sounds stronger than before, he is able to move freely letting nothing getting in his way "Amber I'm coming he starts dashing towards the cliff, as runs everything turns back to normal and everything moves again.

"XIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" Amber screams as she falls down the waterfall, Xion runs off the cliff and dives down and tries to grab Amber.

"Hold on to me" Xion reaches out his paw, Amber clutches on to his and moves closer to Xion, Xion hugs Amber protecting her with his body "Amber brace yourself this will hurt" they both cling to each other but Xion is more exposed so he will take most of the pain.

SPLASH

Both of them sink to the bottom of the pool, Xion starts swimming faster to the surface while Amber holds her dear life onto him, they reach the surface and crawl onto the land while gasping for air.

"Phew....we....made it" Xion moves his head to the side to see how Amber doing, her eyes were closed but she was still breathing "poor girl....must of passed....out" Xion looks up to the sky and starts falling asleep "no must stay....aaawake"

"Xion wake up please"

"Huh" Xion opens his eyes slowly and looks up "oh Mew when did you get here"

"Thank Arceus your alive"

"Wait Mew eh" Xion looks around and he notices that he's back in his dream he could pink flower bed round him flowing with the breeze "this is becoming a habit now I fell asleep three times today" he gets up and walks towards Mew "so what's up"

"WHATS UP you jumped off the waterfall risking your life that's up!"

"Huh oh yes that zero-fear....it really worked"

"Of cause it did, my master gave you a temporary one though luckily you survived, I was so worried"

"Thanks but I'm ok now so I'll wake up now and be on my W-"

*SMACK!*

"I didn't come here just to check on you I came here to tell you the zero-fear has now wore off and you are back to your normal self"

"Owwwww that hurt Mew"

"Well next time try not to be so hasty"

"Ok ok" Xion starts rubbing his head where Mew hit him "oh before I do wake up is this the girl that likes me?" Mew looks ground and sighs.

"Yes but later in the future more girls will fall for you so be careful"

"Ok well ill see you later"

"Bye" Mew had a depressed face on as she left the area.

"Mew are you that girl....naaa she wouldn't like me she doesn't even know me, but that zero-fear skill, it felt goooood like I could do anything, sigh* I should think about having that skill for now I need to wake up" Xion closes his eyes and concentrates on falling asleep.

"XION WAKE UP PLEASE"

"Huh" Xion opens his and sees a blur, shaped like an Eevees head "Amber"

"OH thank Arceus your alive I thought I lost"

"Hmmm didn't Mew say the same thing, wait a second she thought I was dead but I was breathing while I was sleeping wasn't I so she must've known I was alive"

Xion rubs his eyes and blinks couple of times and looks at Amber there were tears in her eyes as she looked down on Xion.

"Its ok Amber I'm fine see" he moves his paw on Ambers head and starts rubbing it making her smile and relieved.

"I thought you were dead when I woke up i-i dashed over and you weren't breathing for couple seconds then you woke up oh Xion" she puts her heading Xion damp tufted fur while Xion was still rubbing Ambers head.

"I wasn't breathing for couple seconds, hmmmm how long was I dreaming for....next time I should time it when I'm asleep for now my task is to make Amber stop crying....how am I going to do this"

"Come on Amber were alive now you shouldn't be crying"

"Sniff* but its all my fault if I didn't walk near the edge and fell off non of would've of happen"

"That's true but I could've pulled you away but I was to scared thinking I might push you instead" Amber lifts her head up and looks straight into Xion eyes.

"But you-" Xion placed his paw on Ambers mouth and shuck his head.

"Your my friend I would've saved you one way or another, promise me Amber that you will be happy when these things happen" he moves his paw away from her mouth, Amber smiles and nods.

"I promise but you have to promise to come visit me at least once a week"

"I promise"

"Tail promise then"

"What's that" he looks at Amber puzzled of what she just said.

"Its when you link tails and skip them round"

"Err okaaay" Amber *SMACK!*!s her forehead while shaking her head.

"Ok first stand up" he does as Amber says and stands on all fours "now curl your tail around mine" he looks at his tail and starts wiggling it, he gentle curls his damp tail around Ambers damp tail "now starts swinging it" there tail went side to side, then when they picked up enough speed there tail went all the way round "and there we have it, see not hard" their tails separated Xion looked at Amber with one eyebrow up.

"Well now that we done the er tail promise, we have to keep our promise ok"

"Yep"

"Xion Amber COME HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT" they both turn towards the noise and sees Fay standing while waving with a smile on her face"

"OK MAM" Xion and Amber starts start moving towards the door, Amber hops all the way while Xion is lost in his thoughts.

"Funny girl but I'm glad she's happy, once a week huh guess that's ok I mean its only one out of seven days, but I want that skill, zero-fear I liked it when I had it, will it change my personality or will I be the same, will Amber still like me, will mam dad still love me" Xion sighs and walks into the kitchen.

As he enters he could see Sapphire sitting at the table while drinking out of a cup and Fay cooking something, Sapphire puts the cup down and turns her head towards the children.

"Amber dear your all wet what happened" Amber looks at Xion with a worried look on her thinking that telling her the truth might cause allot of problems.

"Sorry Mrs. vepareon it was really warm so we went for quick paddle in the water but then it sort got out of control hehe he" Sapphire rolled her eyes while Amber smiled at me and turned her head back.

"Well kids will always be kids, hey Fay have you got any towels" Fay turns around, Sapphire winks at Fay giving her a signal.

"Oh you want me to dry them ok" they both start giggling leaving the two in thought.

"Mam what are planning if your going to set me alight again then I WILL make my revenge long and painful"

"Hey Xion" Amber whispered trying not to be heard "what do you think they doing"

"I only got an idea but I could be wrong"

"What is it" a fire ring goes round Amber and Xion drying them off while they hold each other in fear.

"MOM WHAT DID I SAY BEFORE!"

"Don't worry dear were just drying your fur" the fire calms down, the two Eevees let go of each and shook their fur.

"Well I hope your happy mam, you burned me three times today"

"Go sit at the table kids I've almost cook you dinner" they both walk over to the table and sat next to each at the table Sapphire stop giggling and starts sipping on the cup while having her eyes closed.

"Well look on the bright side Xion your dry and clean" she puts her cup down, opens her eyes and looks at Xion.

"True but I don't like the fact that mom likes watching me getting cooked"

"Well would you rather be wet or dry" he crosses his arms and looks down at the table, Amber lays her head on Xions shoulder.

"There's no point arguing what's done is done" she whispers in a gentle way, Xion places his paws on the table accepting his defeat while muttering under his breath, Sapphire giggles and takes last full mouth full from the cup.

"Sorry for the wait but dinners served" Fay places a plate in front of Xion, licks his lips as he stares at the purple oval shaped food with crispy brown balls on the side.

"Mom what is this" Fay giggles as she puts the plate in front of Sapphire and Amber

"Its Oran berry omelette and fried potatoes but known as-"

"ROASTIES" Amber picks one up and starts nibbling on it with pleasure on her face.

"That's right Amber don't too fast ok"

"Oran berry omelette and roasties smells good" Xion picks up a roastie and starts munching on it "Yum tastes marvellous oh I wonder what the omelette tastes like" after finishing one of the roasties he rips quarter of the omelette and starts munching on it "oh soooo lovely it has a gorgeous taste to it oh I wish I could always taste this everyday"

"I guess you like my cooking Xion" he nods with a happy face as he rips off another piece of Oran omelette and starts to munch on it.

"Your mam is renowned for her berry mixtures"

"Hehehe Sapphire I already told you its easy to make these"

"Yes you said but every time I tried it doesn't taste the same"

"There's something I want to know Mrs. Flareon" Amber say after her nibble on the roastie she licks her lips and looks at Fay "why did you use Oran berries for the omelette"

"Well I knew you and Xion would be running around so I thought I use a berry that gives you energy"

"Hmmm that answers my question why I feel so hyper the Oran berry in this omelette giving me the energy, I wonder if Amber feels the same" Amber starts to nibble on the omelette "awwww she looks so cute when she eats"

"WOW your right I feel like I can run a marathon"

"See told you" Fay puts her tongue out and gives a wink, Xion rolls his eyes and continues enjoying the omelette and roasties.

FEW MUNCHS LATER

"Ahhh that was delicious thanks mam"

"I'm glad you like it"

"Thanks Mrs. Flareon that's best omelette I've ever had" Amber turns her head to Xions and notices that he was sloppy and caught some on his mouth, she leans over and start licking round his mouth, Xion jumps in shock and stares at Amber.

"Awwww ain't that cute, first boy-friend she has ever had" Sapphire and Fay giggle at the scene Xion turns his head at the two and starts to blush.

"Eh boyfriend wa me"

"Xion my boy friend" Amber whispers gently, Xion turns his head back at Amber and sees Ambers eyes half closed smiling while blushing.

"What is this feeling my heart is pounding it feels like its coming out my chest, oh she looks so cute but were to young i-i don't even know what to do or how to be a boyfriend, I'm sorry Amber maybe later"

"Err I think I need the toilet won't be long" Xion brakes the moment leaving the three and dashed towards the bathroom "oh I don't feel so good" he enters the bathroom and shuts the door locks it behind him.

"PHEW!"

"Maybe a quick piddle will help me" he walks over silver and lifts his leg up "dang what was she thinking we only just met and she likes me straight away that's just to unreal, my hearts still pounding but its calming down" he finishes his business and drops his leg then walks over to a sink and sticks his paws out "err how do I worrRRRAAAH!" suddenly water automatically comes out wetting Xions paws "of cause there's no switches or anything like that so it would do something like this" he washes his hands and dries them off with a towel then unlocks the door and leaves the room, he walks through the corridor and towards the kitchen "oh what do I say I bet she heartbroken now dang I feel really....sad....maybe I should have zero-fear none of this would've happened" Xion walks near the gap that leads into the kitchen and takes a quick peep, he could see Fay and Sapphire laughing and giggling away but Amber deep in thought while looking into a mug with her ears dropped down "GULP* well here goes" he walks further in.

"Hey there dear I'm surprise to see you so soon did you know how to work the toilet"

"Ye I did the sink was kinda weird though"

"Oh the self automatic water and soap you'll get use to it, sit down I'll go get you a drink"

"Okay mam" Fay gets up and walks over to the counter, Xion sit next to Amber and looks out the window

"Oh man this is soooo awkward I should say something "

"Xion" he jumps and turns straight away to Amber who is still looking down at her mug "I'm sorry for putting you in that situation"

"There's no need for you to be sorry, I'm sorry for-"

"For what making me like you" she moves her eye to the corner so she is looking at Xion, he shivers as he stares at Amber "sigh* look I want to be friends so please ignore what happened earlier on ok"

"ye sure remember we still have a promise" one of her ears perk up as he said that.

"oh a promise" Fay comes back with a mug and place in front of Xion, there was a brown like water in it and a small white cushion thing inside.

"err what's this"

"Its hot chocolate with a marshmallow its a nice sweet after your dinner" Xion picks up the mug and takes a mouthful "well how is it"

"Its...sweet and hot" he pick up the marshmallow and starts to chew on it

"So tell us then what's the promise" Fay and Sapphire head touch each other with a smile on their faces, Xion swallows the marshmallow and takes a deep breath.

"To see Amber at least once a week" both Ambers ears perk up and her eyes widen up "that was my promise her promise was to stay happy even in situations like this one" she turns her head to Xion and watches him drink nearly all of the hot chocolate, he puts his mug down and turns his head towards Amber "but I won't be the same next time we meet I'll be different"

"Huh whys that" Amber puts a puzzled face look on and lifts up one eye brow.

"Ah so you been having though's dreams Xion" all three looked shocked at Fay as she said that

"How did you know about my dreams"

"We did work with your real father so I think I know what's going on"

"What are you talking about Fay" Sapphire nudges Fay.

"Hehehe its a secret between me and Xion here sorry" Sapphire rolls her eyes and starts sipping on the hot chocolate.

COUPLE SIPS LATER

"Xion are you doing anything tomorrow" Amber starts tugging on Xion fur with a cute face on.

"Dam you Amber no I will resist"

"Sorry Amber but I'm training with my father tomorrow"

"Huh I thought your training with him to night" Fay smiles and winks at Xion.

"But out mum your just making things worse"

"I am sorry Amber maybe another time"

"Ow the baby kicked" Fay started to rub her tummy while smiling.

"Oh I wish I could have a baby we've been trying for months now but were getting nowhere"

"Have you tried....erm kids why don't you go watch TV"

"Okay maaAH-" Amber grabs Xions paw and runs towards the living room not letting Xion finish his sentence.

"Owww you couldn't pulled gentle could you" Xion says while rubbing his arm up and down, Amber walks up to Xion

"Do you like me Xion?"

"Of cause I do I wouldn't-"

"No I mean do you like like me?" Xions eyes lifted up and he started to shake, Amber looked at the floor and lowered her eyes, there was a long silence.

"What should I say, do I or don't, well I gotta say something more I leave it more it hurts her heart, I know"

"Well Amber tell you the truth I-I think do" Amber jumps in happiness and jumps on Xion making him land flat on the floor "buuut" Amber steps off Xion and walks away and sits on one of the cushions, Xion goes over and joins Amber on the cushion next to her " I will be honest I do like you but we've only just met I bet later we won't like each other and blah blah blah" Ambers ears drop and her face drops.

"Its about that dream isn't it" Xion was shock fact that Amber said such thing he sighed and took a deep breath.

"Well yes the dream does have something do with it but not most of it is just fact that we only met today"

"What are you dreaming about please tell me"

"Well if you really want to know but you must keep it a secret even from your mom" she lifted her eyes up at Xion and nodded "ok then these dreams said that I can have a skill called zero-fear this skill is when I lose three quarters of my emotions but I keep certain ones like...love and happiness but I lose ones like anger and sad also the main one fear, remember when you fell off the waterfall"

"Yes how can I forget it was scary no WORSE."

"Well when I jumped off I was in zero-fear it was only temporary but the next will be permanent and I'm afraid that you will dislike me and start to hate me that's why I'm not sure about liking you please understand" Xion closes his eyes hoping she would say something, Amber gets up and walks towards Xion, she stands in front of and crouches down.

"I would never hate you, you saved my life I owe you big time" Xion opens his eyes and stands in front of Amber.

"So no matter what happens you'll still like me" Amber leans forward giving Xion a long passionate kiss, Xion and Amber fall down onto the cushion while kissing and hug each other, Xion starts to close his eyes and enjoys the moment, Amber brakes the kiss and snuggles into Xion.

"Does that answer your question?"

"I guess it does"

"Oh I wish day would never end"

"Well tuff its time to go" they both jump from there cushions and hit the ceiling clinging onto it while looking down, they can see Fay and Sapphire sitting while giggling to themselves.

"MAM HOW LONG WERE YOU WATCHING"

"Well we came in and saw you to snuggled into each other"

"You two look sooo adorable together we didn't want to disturb you"

"Growl* I WILL get my revenge one way or another" both let go from the ceiling and land into the cushions.

"Well Amber aren't you going say goodbye to your boyfriend" she smirks and pushes Amber closer to Xion, both of them blush.

"Erm ye goodbye Amber ceya later I guess" Amber leans forward to and nips his ear.

"Don't worry about changing you are still Xion no matter how you change" she lets go and turns around walks outside.

"Ceya later Sapphire I'm glad you came round"

"Same here Fay so nice to have a talk once in a while" they both smirk and look at Xion "but it also looks like we weren't the only once glad we came round" Xion blushes even more and walks into the kitchen.

"Kids!" Fay and Sapphire say together

"Oh Amber my heart pound every time I think of you is this a dream or realality" _ he walks over to the fridge to see what he can nibble on "_hmmmmm maybe ill ask mam for something to eat"

"hehehe what a day its a bin don't you agree Xion" Fay walks into the kitchen and sees Xions head slowly moving to the right of the open door fridge.

"Yes it has, no thanks to you"

"Oh don't be mean, you liked my dinner right"

"Well cant denied that, your like the best cook I bet"

"Heehee like music to my ears" she walks over to the fridge and stands behind Xion then gives him a big hug "you are my little one and soon you will be big brother but please whatever you do even if you do take that skill be my little one no matter" Xion turns around with a shocked face and hugs into his mother's arms "I see that your still hungry ill cook you something and we'll have a talk about what happened today"

"okay mam" he breaks the hug and walks towards the table "oh mam thanks for everything" she smile and turns her head back to the fridge.

"She can be torture sometimes but she is a very loving mother and I'm glad to be her son"

"SNIFF*

"Yum that was that was fast I wonder what's she's cooking"

COUPLE MINUTES LATER

Fay walks over with a two bowls and a spoons in the bowls, she places a bowl in front of Xion, he leans forward and has a look what's inside, it was a pinkish liquid, he lifted the spoon up and it poured the liquid that was in the spoon back into the bowl.

"Mam what's this soup"

"Oh I'm surprised you knew it was soup"

"I didn't know I just guessed" Fay rolled her eyes and coughed.

"Its Lansat and Custap berry mixed together this will help you feel stronger when you spare with your dad" Xion took a sip of the soup and smiled.

"Best cook in the world mam"

"Thank you dear that means allot" both sat in silence while eating/drinking there soup "so Xion what do you think about Amber"

"Err she's cute"

"Cute huh there more isn't there"

"Noooo why do you say that"

"Hmmmm except for kissing and cuddling and I never want this day to end"

"She said that not me" Xion started to get embarrassed and eat/drink his soup faster "a-and besides I can't help it if girls like me"

"What happened while you were out the back" Xion stopped eating/drinking his soup and placed the spoon back down into the bowl "Xion what happened"

"Well we were playing tag first then we jumped on the swings for a rest she wanted to know why I had blue fur so I told but to keep it a secret" he looks up Fay, she nods with a straight face "Go on that's fine"

"Well I told her everything and she said she'll tell me two secrets of her own the first one was that she saw her parents doing something and she got a funny feeling out of it"

"Oh my umm ye well I explain that later please go on"

"And the second well we were on top of the waterfall and she said I was the first boy she's ever met and she likes me, she was excited to meet me but then the part of the waterfall broke and she fell"

"What so that's what the screaming was?"

"Ye and suddenly everywhere went grey and I heard a voice it said do you want to save your friend and I said yes I suddenly changed I felt indestructible, invincible like I had no fear I ran and jumped off the waterfall everything went back to normal then and I caught and I saved her life, then I promised her I see her once every week and then I came inside for dinner you know the rest"

"I'm guessing that feeling was the skill"

"Yes but it was only temparoy but I want that feeling forever I thought maybe if I had that skill I could get through life easier"

"You look serious....then do it, get that skill"

"Mam what are-?"

"I'm saying if you think you can live through life easier with that skill then do it me and your father will stand by you no matter what"

"Mam thank you" Xion walks over to his mother and gives her a big hug "I love you mam"

"I love you to son"

They hugged for a while until a noise came from the front room

"XION FAY IM HOME!"
