Pat awoke to the dull throb of his head. He must have slept through the worst of the head ache and now his head only hurt when he moved it around too fast. As he stumbled out of bed and towards the shower on the other side of the upstairs hall way Pat realized he had a pretty bad case of morning wood. "I'll deal with you later" Pat said and frowned as he looked down at the bulge in his pants.

It took a while for Pat to clean up and get dressed. By the time he made it downstairs his dad was already up and from the sound of his voice he wasn't happy. "...what gives them the right to park their vehicles in my back yard and run around my property looking for gods knows what!?" Brian Whelan yelled into the phone he was holding. Pat was already down the stairs and looking out the kitchen window when his dad finally noticed him. "Listen Rick I have to go, Pat's up... Yea, yea, you better get your butt down here and talk to these guys before I really get upset!" Brian said and turned to Pat. "Hey sport! Sorry about that, the FBI showed up out of nowhere this morning and now their searching for something in the woods" Brian sand and frowned, "You hungry?"

Pat watched as his dad cooked up some bacon and eggs for them both. Ever since Pat had been a kid it had always been just him and his dad. They were pretty close considering Pat was seventeen. Whenever something bad happened Pat always told his dad about it. What happened in the forest last night though wasn't something Pat wanted to talk about yet.

"... and then Rick said he would come over and sort this mess out" Brian said as he put the eggs and bacon on the plate and handed it to Pat, "Eat up son, I might not be home for dinner tonight if today keeps up like it has been"

Pat ate quickly. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk to his dad or anything, but something else was bugging him. Why would the FBI show up out of nowhere like this? What did they want with Pat and his dad? Were they looking for the alien?"

Pat was too upset to think much about everything and on top of that his head still hurt. Eventually Sherriff Rick showed up and talked with Brian. They both decided to head out to the woods and confront the FBI. Pat made his way up to his room and turned the TV on. On top of his head ache Pat had been getting hard off and on all morning! What the hell was making him so horny?

Morning faded to the hot of mid-day and then to night. Pat had dozed all day hoping his head would stop throbbing. Every time he would fall asleep he would have these crazy dreams about weird shit. Some of it made sense, but most of the time it was just images of things Pat didn't recognize.

Rick and Brian got in at about seven that night. Pat heard them come in and was curious about what they might have found. He snuck out to the top of the stairs and listened to their conversation. "Did you see that crater? What the hell was that thing?" Rick asked.

"Maybe some sort of government aircraft" Brian said sounding a little shook up, "did you manage to get a piece of that strange metal they were collecting?"

"Yea, here" Rick said as he handed something to Brian, "You should probably hide it somewhere safe. You don't want those guys thinking you have something like this laying around your house"

Pat suddenly remembered the shard of metal he had picked up back at the wreckage. He was surprised he had forgotten about it so fast. "There" Brian said as he walked back into the kitchen, "It's hidden in a safe place"

"Brian... this is some pretty messed up shit! Those FBI guys were seriously onto us" Rick said and he must have been frowning.

"Man, I need a drink... you mind going to O'Brendan's with me?" Brian asked.

"After what I saw out there? Normally I don't drink on the clock, but that was some weird ass shit man" Rick said and shook his head.

"Hey Pat!" Brian shouted.

Pat waited a while before emerging from hiding and looking down the stairs at his dad, "What's up?"

"Watch the house son, we're going to get something to drink!" Brian yelled back.

"K" Pat yelled back.

"Dinner's in the fridge! Eat the chicken, it's getting old!"

Pat shrugged as his dad turned and made his way outside. Pat could hear Rick and his dad getting into the sheriff's cruiser and driving off. Pat went to the kitchen and pulled out the bucket of leftover chicken. It wasn't that old, but it did need to be eaten. Pat carried the food back up to his room and sat down in front of the TV.
