#151 of Exploration

The week after we went to Alecksis' planet, Alex and Brendan had to return back to their world for university, and there was a tearful farewell for them. To add insult to injury, Silverine announced that I would be leading some of the Hunted to a new planet. What part of 'I'm not a leader' doesn't that Lupogriff understand? He must be delusional or something. Furthermore, I was working with Hunted only, no one else as back up should the rogue do something strange.

Not that I was complaining about the Hunted, hell no. Hadia, Scott, Delnom and Giancarlo were all coming with me, and I knew all of them were very good at what they did, it's just everyone would be looking up to me, or down to me seeing as I was the second shortest in the party, and I am not comfortable in a position of leadership. Draco was leading Emery, Flair, Qwa'kiana and Marcus, and Silverine and Kodey would be taking Noah, Tabaxi and Nord.

I had already gotten a fierce reputation around the Hunted, partly because of my Tripod form and the fact I had buzzed a couple of them as they arrived, and as we assembled Delnom asked me some simple questions on how to go about planet fall. I couldn't honestly answer that, we had no idea what we were heading into. So in full kit I stood in front of the dais Silverine was standing on, across one shoulder my rpg and across the other my rifle.

Silverine explained the usual for Kodey's benefit, the reindeer writing everything down as common practice, and I subsequently volunteered to ping. After a full minute of falling, I landed heavily on the ground. This was a proper jungle, much like the planet Winslo had to pretend he was a god at. Thick vines hung maddeningly around the trees and across potential paths, but at least the ground was solid, and I planted my scanner.

"Unknown planet, Atmosphere, breathable, gravity 9/10 Earth standard, Temperature, tropical. Remove all warm clothing, and come on over. No life forms discovered as yet." I stopped talking, listening to the silent forest, waiting for a reply. "Alduin, two minutes." "Right." I whistled cheerfully, and then heard a noise in the brush. I turned rapidly, but couldn't see anything. I activated thermo, but saw nothing but insect life. There was another noise, but by the time I spotted the plant shaking I couldn't see what had made that.

"Something is here, and it is fast." I said, looking around in confusion. I hadn't drawn my weapons, I hadn't even seen what it was, but then something hit me which I did not expect. Music. Unbearably sweet, beautiful music, a choir of lilting voices, elven in tone. I looked around for the source of the singing, and felt weary. It was a full hammer blow, the sensation overwhelming. I couldn't go to sleep now, I mustn't...

There was a screech from above and then a roar, as I opened my eyes. Hadia was shouting. "Get off him!" there was a flash of tan, and Delnom shouted. "Bloody hell, they move so quickly! What are they?" Scott bent over me, looking concerned. "Alduin, are you alright?" "I'm fine."I said, sitting up," What was it?"

"What were they." Scott corrected." We didn't get a clear picture, they move too fast. All we know is they have this serene song, which put you to sleep, enchanted you. There were four or five around you as we arrived.Fortunately you were in your bionic form." Giancarlo came over as I got up, fending off a tree until I was upright. Hadia and Delnom were looking into the trees, trying to find the creatures, both carrying projectile weapons in their arms.

I looked around, feeling extremely angry. I had been enchanted by something singing, and I scowled at the idea that they had been crawling over me. I took my glasses off, and Scott respectfully took a few steps away. "Did we get a passage of their language?" "No.They were laughing at something, and then one of them screeched." "O.K., let's send them a message." I said.

I turned, looking into the thick brush. I pulled down my rocket launcher, and placed a shell in it. As I did, I conjured a small ball of fire in my palm. There were sudden urgent screeches of noise from all around, and I smiled. They knew what fire was alright, and they were scared of it. I turned to everyone. "Phasers out, set them low." Everyone drew their weapons, and I aimed my rocket launcher through the bushes.

"No! Don't!" there was a shout from above, in that same unearthly but beautiful tone. There was a blur of speed down a tree, and a creature landed in front of me, hands together in prayer. "Don't hurt the trees!" she repeated, as all of us turned to look at her.

It was elven, but yet these were darkly tanned, like the shade of a tree branch. They stood at about five foot ten, and their limbs were lithe and beautiful. They wore nothing but simple clothes fabricated from autumn leaves, which covered anything intimate, and their hands had no claws or anything special. Their ears were long and pointed, more so then the normal elves, and their eyes were green like the leaves. Golden hair flowed down her back, and her innocent but mischievous face showed nothing but fear.

All my friends were looking at her in annoyance, but I was past that stage. "Why did you try to harm me, dryad?" "We didn't want to hurt you, we just wanted to have a little fun. We do not get many strangers around here, and it's always amusing to play with them." "So you sung me to sleep for what game?" "You would not be hurt, we promise, just in a difficult place, up a tree or so. Please don't hurt us, we mean no harm." she repeated.

I pressed a button on the side of the rocket launcher, aiming it down, and the shell slide forwards into my hand, unfired. I put it back in my bag over my shoulder, and the dryad breathed out. I made a gesture to the others, and they lowered their weapons, although they were still looking suspicious. "I don't mind games, but I do not like being coerced into them. What is your name, dryad?" "Nena, Alduin. We heard your name being spoken." she was still trembling at my impassive expression.

I turned to Scott and Giancarlo. "Can you two run an aerial of this forest, see if you can find any other life forms." Both the dragon and the metamorph avian immediately began climbing up trees, Nena looking on apprehensively. "Nena, what can you tell us about this place?" I asked, looking severely at her. "I can show you anything, Alduin." she stepped forwards in a rush to be helpful, and I reacted fast. A small fireball appeared in my hands, about tennis ball sized, and glowed brightly. Nena stopped dead, backing away.

I stared at her. "Do not be so hasty, Nena. You tried something earlier, and I am suspicious. Where are we going?" "All of us live in the tree tops, I will take you to my tree, just please..." she stopped, swallowing, and I dispelled the fireball. "Hadia, Delnom, keep your eyes open. We will follow her, but be careful in case they attack us." Both nodded, as we followed the dryad through the forest. The wolf and the wolf hybrid held their weapons pointing into the ground, and their ears were pricked up, listening for noise.

We got to a tree, and Nena pointed up it. "This is my tree. We can talk up there. Do you trust me, Alduin?" "No. But I will follow." she looked dejected, and in a blur rapidly ascended. They really did move phenomenally fast. Delnom dug his claws into the bark to get up, and there was a cry of pain from above. I grabbed the wolf, and he let go, falling back down. "They feel pain if their tree is hurt." Delnom nodded, and closed his eyes. A surge of telekinetic power lifted the wolf off the ground, and he ascended. Hadia took to the air, sweeping his blue wings gently.

I said sod it, and changed into my Raptor form. The ground was covered with leaves, and I ignited my hover engines, sending a supercooled jet of water down some pipes. Steam erupted from my hovers, and I rose. Hadia watched. "Why are you doing that?" "The water mixes with the jet blast, turning it into steam, the steam will dampen the ground and will not set fire to the leaves. This way I won't cause a forest fire on take off." I replied, as I got high enough to stop.

All three of us went up for about one hundred feet, and came to a halt as Nena waved over to us. I changed into my bionic form, and caught hold of a branch, pulling myself up until I was sitting on it. I grabbed Delnom from this position, and pulled him over until he too was standing on it. Hadia landed next to Nena, and the two of us shuffled along our branch until we were next to her, and saw where we were.

It was a large flat space. Seven branches broke off in different directions, and the mossy ground had been levelled to make a pretty good area. Delnom let go his concentration, and settled down on the moss, and we all sat down against branches, while Nena looked nervously at us. I drew a mandarin from my bag, and began peeling, looking at Nena in query. "So, Nena. What is this place?" "This is our homeland, we know not what you would call it. We live here, tending and caring for the trees."

"We? How many are you?" "About two thousand, this is a large land.Sisters all." I noticed that as she said this I could see easily a couple of dozen of these dryads around us. They were watching us in many manners, curiosity, fear and anxiety, and as I swept my gaze around they stared back at me.

They had seen me cast fire, and knew I was not to be trifled with, and yet their eyes glinted with mischief. I was interesting, or that's how I seemed in their eyes. Their gaze suggested they thought I was a lot of fun to be had, providing they didn't cross any lines. Delnom's ability of telekinesis had earned him some viewers, and Hadia was held in awe, they had seen nothing like him in terms of size or species. They would be immensely scared if they knew what he could do.

Delnom, being the least intimidating and the one who hadn't used fire, began asking the routine questions to Nena. I shuffled off my pack and placed it in front of me, along with rifle and rocket launcher. Hadia likewise removed his bag. As the question and answer period went on for about five minutes, a gentle and lithe hand gently touched my shoulder. I turned to see the dryad, but she was already retreating. I could hear some of the others whispering.

"Don't annoy him, he controls the fire! What are you doing?" one hissed, but my headset picked it up. "I just..." "Wanted to touch me?" I asked, and Delnom, Hadia and Nena all turned to look at the dryad in question. She flushed. "You look something like us, I was, curious." she looked down. Hadia laughed. "Ever the ladies man, Alduin?" he said in Centralite, and both me and Delnom chuckled.

"I am popular among other races, no, I don't know why." I replied, smiling. Delnom's eyes sparkled with humour and turned back to Nena. Hadia watched with a smile as I offered my hand to the dryad. She stepped along the branch, their balance was superb, and took it gently. "I forgive you for your singing, just don't do it again." she looked in awe, and sat behind me. Hadia was likewise being approached by a few cautious dryads, but Delnom was not being approached. He was still talking to Nena, and something in his tone made it quite clear he was not interested.

Hadia noticed this. "Are you going to join in, Delnom?" The wolf turned to look at the dragon, and shook his head, speaking in rapid Centralite," I am not comfortable around women, I prefer men." "Noted." Hadia nodded.I felt the dryad giving me attention wrap her legs around my waist, her arms around my shoulders. Her breath was on my neck, warm and slightly scented. "You do not mind us, Alduin?" "I do not, but might I suggest leaving the wolf alone. He will not take to you if you approach him sexually."

"To be honest, we meant to sing you to sleep, and then get you to have some fun with us.It is so nice to have co-operative visitors here." "A touch of subtleness might have been required, both me and Hadia could cause a fire storm if we get angry." I replied quietly."What is your name?" "Shazya." she replied, pronouncing it Sha-zii-ya.Hadia was being asked by two of them to have fun with them.

I looked up and activated my headset. "Scott, Giancarlo, how's it going?" and within two seconds I heard Giancarlo. "Alduin! They won't leave me alone! I landed, and four of them are having sex with me!" "How bad is it?" "One keeps playing with my vagina, one with my breasts! They keep rotating and riding my cock, and they want me to lick their vaginas!"

"Scott?" I was trying not laugh at the poor metamorph's plight. "Shall I break them up, Giancarlo?" the dragon asked. "Yes! Either that or get them to take you!" "Giancarlo!" I raised my voice a bit,"You know there is one form that you can assume to make them get off." "What's that?" "The tentacle monster."

There was a long pause, and Giancarlo spoke."I didn't think of that." "Tell you what, put down a scanner, and I'll join you and Scott. Then you can show these ladies all the attention they could want." "But I'm not a dominating person, Alduin!"Giancarlo remembered,"I couldn..." "Think of it like this, Giancarlo." I suggested," We want you to fuck all of us, so either you submit and do as we say, or you exert your dominant streak and don't."

"I don't have a dominant streak." Giancarlo replied, shyly,"But are you sure you want it?" "We do, and I order you to do it." "Yes, master." the avian replied, and I turned to Shazia. "You are about to get as much fun as you want." I grabbed her and teleported. We were about three kilometres from where we had been, and as Shazia fell off me in surprise, I saw that Giancarlo hadn't been exaggerating, there were about seven of these dryads giving Giancarlo their attention. They all turned to look at me and Shazia, and Scott landed next to us.

"Ladies." Scott nodded, and I merely smiled. Giancarlo began to change and distort, and he disappeared down a hole in the tree.Several of the dryad's looked in surprise and regret, before Giancarlo spoke again. "It's a maze of tunnels in this tree! How many tentacles are needed?" "Scott?" I looked at the dragon, who began stripping. The dryads realised our intentions and moved over. I took Shazia as the dragon took another, and I spoke to the dryads.

"O.K., people, you six don't need us for your enjoyment, Giancarlo will be more than happy to do it, we just need to do some quick mathematics." I did some mental arithmetic, and spoke to Giancarlo. "About thirty five, O.K?" Several of the holes in this tree erupted tentacles, Giancarlo was using the tunnels with exceptional skill. The six lonely dryads were stunned to see this happening, and while they were initially scared, Giancarlo's advances made them aware what was happening.

They shrieked in delight as he began to play with them, and I watched as he paired them up in groups of two, pinned them together with a tentacle or two, and then as they began making out with one another, fuck them in all holes and a few between their breasts. To control so many tentacles took tremendous concentration, and Giancarlo had meaningfully locked down his headset so he wasn't interrupted.

I wish I could say I was actually involved in what happened next, but something distracted me instead. My glasses went absolutely haywire, informing me someone had tripped first the burglar alarm and then the fire alarm at my house. Immediately I contacted Central, and asked Kodey for a replacement to cover for me. Alecto and Gareth were on Central, Ryan was exploring, who the hell was in my house?

I teleported as soon as I had confirmation of a replacement, and I teleported to Central, intending to bounce to my house. However rather than immediately bounce I aimed my landing point at my quarters, where I knew there was a fire extinguisher, grabbed it, and THEN teleported home.

I landed in the living room with a familiar bang, and as I turned I saw the door to my bedroom had smoke drifting underneath the door, the suspicious sort of smoke that suggests a lot of burning is taking place, and without a second thought I charged into the room.

Oh dear god. My bed was a pile of burning timber and metal, the curtains were alight, and the floor was a hazardous firewall. I grabbed the extinguisher, and the Centralite device began dumping liberal amounts of carbon dioxide foam over the raging flames. I entered the room, sweeping the extinguisher back and forth, first putting out the floor, then the curtains, and finally dousing the wreckage that was my bed thoroughly.

As I stood in the foamy mess, I immediately wondered what caused this, and I ignited my X-ray and thermals, looking around for anything suspicious. Red lights went off immediately, as the X-ray picked up a tall body in my wardrobe. I was so racked off at that moment that I went all in, dropping X-ray and thermal, picking up a flash grenade, and tossing it into the wardrobe.

As I did so, there was the beginning of a reptilian growl, before there was a bright flash, and a howl of surprise. I tore the door open, reached in around the clothes and grabbed something scaly, before turning and flinging the creature onto the heap of smouldering materials that had been my bed not ten minutes previously.

OK, this was a bit bizarre. There was a feral dragon in my cupboard, but not one I recognised, nor did he have a teleporter on his wrist. I looked highly confused at the situation, taking every second of the time the reptile was blinded to restrain him and wonder how he got into my room. He struggled weakly, clawing feebly at my bionic armour, until his vision returned, and he saw that I was pointing my rifle at his muzzle.

"I believe you have some explaining to do, scaly." I said, in draconic. It was close enough for the dragon to understand, and the the translator modified the dialect so he could understand me. "What's going on?" he asked, terrified. "I should be asking that question dragon. This is my house, on my planet, and you have burst in here and destroyed a large portion of my bedroom. I think the home team gets the first question."

He was a beautiful blue scaled reptile with a white underbelly, and an almost pale white/blue membrane in his wings, with black claws and horns. His eyes were a fierce golden colour, and had something strapped over one shoulder. "Please, don't hurt me, I didn't mean anything!" I opened a link to Abigail. "Abby, dear, could you come here with someone with reasonable technological knowledge? I have a feral dragon in my room, he got here in a blazing fireball and destroyed a portion of my room."

Abigail teleported practically on the spot, curious to see what had happened. Doran turned up with her, and the dragon looked alarmed at the two newcomers. "What are they doing?" Doran started setting up a computer while Abigail began scanning the dragon. He whimpered in terror with the muzzle of the rifle stuck under his neck. Until Abigail had a valid excuse this dragon was not moving in my opinion.

Abigail hmmed for a few seconds. "Curious. This creature seems to have got here in the same way we do, via jumping dimensions, except he doesn't have any way of having done so. He must have homed in on the same signal the teleporter uses." The dragon whimpered."Please, don't kill me. I don't mean to harm you." Abigail looked at me, and I scowled before lowering my rifle. "Take him back to Central, and find out what the hell happened. I have to go buy some new furnishings."

Doran spoke up."Alduin, you know how we teleport from planet to planet?" "Yes, given the multi-dimensional angles of the universe, the teleporter can cut through dimensions and planes of existence to find the shortest route to it's location, and that it's set to land in this dimension, and on a large centre of mass, preprogrammed by our detection devices." "Well, this guy apparently did much the same thing, but on a highly random way, without a teleporter. Their race must have some fierce technology, but your scanner, being the default area we choose to land in, pulled him in like on a rope."

"That doesn't explain why he was even teleporting in the first place, but explains why he landed here." I tossed my rifle aside and let Abigail and Doran take the mysterious newcomer away, before a glower appeared in the visible spectrum. "Not your every day occurence, Alduin?" "I have a history of unnatural occurences, this is just bizarre." I replied absent mindedly. The glower pulsed once.

"Do you require my hand in repairing the room, Alduin?" "If you could repair the walls, I can refurbish this place by myself. I'm sure all my Centralite earned dollars could use an airing." I responded somewhat gratefully. The glower nodded. "Walls, ceiling and carpet, all the items within are your problem. Very well." the glower waited patiently until I stepped outside the room with my back pack and my wallet, closing the door behind myself.

White light very quickly shone from the cracks around the door, and I decided to leave the glower to it. Ryan teleported in as I was heading over to the door. "Are you ok, dear?" "Singed, nothing more, Ryan. I'm fine, just a little annoyed." "I also hear that you had to skip out on a tentacle orgy with the locals and Giancarlo." Ryan might have had a tone of envy, and I rolled my eyes, allowing a quick smile.

"Once the world slows down to a crawl, and I've sorted my room out, then I can relax and make up for That. In the meantime, I'm heading out. See you later, dear." Ryan nodded, and I stepped outside. After a quick jog to the bus stop, and making sure I wasn't in bionic form, I caught a bus into town. A guy in the bus nodded to me, an acquaintance of mine. "Morning Alduin." "Morning, Stephen. How are you?" "Very well. Have you been jumping in a leaf pile or something?"

I thought hurriedly back to the siren planet. "Why, is my hair covered in leaves?" "Just one or two large autumnal ones. It suits you." I laughed a little and removed the rogue leaves, placing them in my wallet, my souvenir from the trip. Stephen got off the bus to go to his computing job, while I got off at the Warehouse, and walked up to the counter.

The sales lady smiled as I approached. "May I help you sir?" "Certainly. My room got hit by a meteor strike, and I need a replacement for practically everything." Full kudos, she barely blinked."Umm, so what does "everything" consist of?"

After two hours of buying, and barely a dint in the account that held the Centralite earnings, a truck deposited my new room belongings in the yard. Gareth and Ryan were both home, and were all too happy to move everything into my now clean room. The only original things in there were the built in wardrobe and my chest of drawers, which I slipped the leaves into while no one was looking.

The moving in took the rest of the afternoon, and Abigail updated me on the findings. The feral dragon was called Auryn, a blue dragon who had been volunteered to test a new kind of teleportation device, which had been a unqualified sucess, but in the wrong way. Instead of landing 400 metres away, he had been flung a few hundred galaxies due to what appeared to be a lack of precision, according to Abigail.

My response cannot be put down in print due to the chance of under-18's reading this, but it was a colourful variation of "Lack of precision my ass. No precision would have been closer." Even Ryan blushed when he heard me say it. So while our rogue arrival was busy being sorted out by Abigail and a currently off duty team of Scouts preparing to visit his planet, I sorted out the final sheets for my mattress, and teleported back to the siren planet.

Shazia was there to greet me, and instantly the dryad grabbed me around the shoulders and snuggled me fiercely. I was almost caught off balance. "Hello Shazia, I trust you enjoyed yourself with Giancarlo." "Can we PLEASE keep him for a while longer? He doesn't seem to get tired of fucking us, and we love it, so helplessly pinned by his tentacles." I laughed and set the excited female down, speaking into my headset. "This is Tinman, contacting the tentacle monster. How's the workload?" "Alduin, can I PLEASE go home? They won't stop encouraging me, and even as a tentacle beast, I can't keep this up forever."

"Tell you what, Giancarlo. How about you stay for a few days, but we stop them from 24 hour persuasion. Is that ok? I'm sure you love it." "I'm sure I do, but I don't have unlimited supplies of stamina and cum." "Still the same place as before?" "Look for the WHITE tree." he replied rather cattishly. I laughed, and turned to the dryad next to me. "Look, my dear, run along to your friends. Giancarlo will stay for up to a week, but he does get tired, so when he asks to sleep, let him. Is that fair?"

She beamed. "Oh, that's more than fair, Alduin. Thank you!" she disappeared at their rapid speed, and I rolled my eyes. Poor Giancarlo. I had no personal objection to having a few people to play with, but more than a dozen was a little excessive. However before I went back home, I had to have one round with the tentacles myself. God I needed it after this afternoon. I changed into my Raptor form, and followed the creamy trails to the "sauce" of the fun.
