The Beginning of the End Part II

I did my research on what happens when a human dies, when Chell was at the 18th chamber. Many results had come up, all with different ideas, but none the ones I wanted. I wanted to see suffering, pain, eternal suffering, not a City in the clouds! What of this 'God' it speaks of? The divine mercy to all humans, who oversees their behavior, who sorts out the bad and the good. I found an article on something called "Wikipedia", that there were many 'Religions' such as: Bhuddism, Christianity, and Roman Catholic. I was beginning to be more angered than before. "I wanted REAL knowledge, about the sciences of the afterlife!" I screamed, " I don't want to know about petty human fiction!" I was corrupted, which made my Emotion Core even angrier than before, when I was thinking about the Cube Incineration Scores, I had fried my processor. No longer loving of the human Guinea pig. I was ready to kill Chell, no questions asked, but Morality Core wouldn't allow it. I had mentioned earlier of 'Android Hell' when Chell was in Chamber 16, but was there such a thing as a human hell? In fact, was there even any proof that any category of Hell existed? I pondered, but not for long.

Chell got onto the lift to the human oven, where she would be burned to death, and I would have the satisfaction of seeing a human burn with my own eyes, rather than one burn in a fictional place, where I would only have to imagine this human suffering. Closer to the oven, the lift got, and Chell was looking surprised. More than surprised, possibly. She was so fearful, she couldn't even move! I laughed on the inside, as I watched her near her end. The lift fell into the pit of fire, but there was no Chell. "What are you doing!? ...eh...ehaa--Congratulations, you have completed the part of the Test where we pretended we were going to murder you!" I said, hoping she was unintelligent enough to believe me. She was not, and she sped past the abandoned corridors of Aperture. Rooms full of rust, NeuroToxin polluted waters, not only that, but there was also a plentiful surplus of half-finished turrets. The turrets had partial shells on, and their bullet tanks were half empty. How DARE this human defy me, so she could survive, I thought to myself, She won't last long though, where she's headed.

"Arghh, Schroeder, this is making me impatient! I wanted to see her DIE! What's wrong with her! Other humans would have gone into submiss--" I interrupted him, "Silence, Emotions Core, you'll see her die soon enough. We began laughing simultaneously. She was nearing my chamber, where I would hopefully have disconnected the Morality Core by then. "GLaDOS, I know what you're thinking, and I will not allow it!" Hadn't I told her before to adress me as 'Dr.Schroeder'? I wanted her gone, and I wanted her gone as soon as it was possible. Her words became jumbled, though, and her speech became slurred. Was it working? Was she disconnecting, finally? Morality was hanging by a cord, and I was happier than I've ever been. Chell had, unfortunately, arrived too soon, so I needed to stall her. "I have a surprise for you! Deploying surprise in 3...2...--" I was cut off by a sharp pain in my side. She had disconnected, but she was still signaling through a microchip. I needn't have worried though, I had my own personal Garbage-Woman. Using reverse psychology, I convinced the fool to put Morality into the Incinerator. I felt relief of all morality, and I was able to kill Chell easily. I decided to give her some hope of living, so I pretended to have a 'fatal' error. I had a simulator for that, just as a joke, in case it was April fools' day, and I wanted to prank the other scientists.

I started the NeuroToxin emitters, and gave her a death clock, so she could see her life dwindling away with her own eyes. I gave her the chance to go quickly, even though I wanted her to suffer, with all of my RAM, I felt a strong connection to her. This girl was smarter than I though, she found an exploit in the Rocket Turret, and had it aimed right at me! *click* *Blip-bloodoodooo* *PHWISSHHHH!* "Argh! How did you..." Curiosity Core was first to go, I have no idea why every single one of my cores weren't blown off, but all for the better in my favor. My muse was dwindling for that incompitent Core anyway. Blathering away all day, saying things like: "Oooh! What's that? Oh! What's that? What is THAT? OoOoooOooOoh! THAT THING HAS NUMBERS ON IT!!!!" Tiresome, listening to an idiot such as she, my whole life as this AI. Anger Core and Intellignce Core were getting nervous; They suspected that they would be next to incinerate. I would not allow that to happen.
