Arc reclined into the worn leather of the his father's chair, the smell of pipe tobacco and wine lingered in this old study. The rat sighed and stroked admirably at his golden pelt as a modest sneer crossed his face, a grinning cheshire cat in the mirror decorating the wall. The silence of the study was interupted as two other rodents entered the room. One a mouse, blotched head to toe in black and white. His name was Rowan, always chewing on a tooth-pick while his jittering hands fumbled in his blue jeans. The other was a rat, large and easily dwarfing both of his companions. With a coat of cream and a wild 'mane' for hair, a black scar etched it's way under one eye. He always gave a crooked smile. "Rex," Arc chimed first as the rat shuffled awkwardly in the small room. Ro looked expectantly at the rat, who simply bowed his head up and down in a respectful fashion. The golden rat in the green chair chuckled at the mute servant and laid his glazed eye on the mouse, who would have swallowed his tooth-pick had Rex not patted his shoulder. "Did you find him?" Arc asked, itching his ear absently, abit too interested in that to care. Ro cleared his throat and brushed his hands through his brown styled mohawk and nodded quickly, "Ya, ya. Won't shut up, too. Just like you want... Right?" Arc stared. The blotched mouse blinked his blue eyes and shuffled awkwardly behind Rex for support and tapped his rump, "Go, Go get him, Rex." The rat snorted and with a flick of his whiskers left the room, his large tail seeming to 'accidently' find Ro's nose to slap on his departure. The mouse sneezed and cursed in fury, which made Arc cackle with delight as Ro made vain attempts to sooth his nose.

Arc perked his ears as Rex's shadow leeked onto the victoria styled rug, in his burly arms something twisted and turned in fear, obviously something was hanging from his mouth as he screamed curses to the rat and the son-of-a-dog who kidnapped him. A grey mouse was thrown on the floor uncerimoniously with a thump, a broken cigar in one hand, his tail twitching as the only sign of life. Arc looked at him, unimpressed, like a new toy that he had just broken. Suddenly the mouse became animated with life and flipped over, sucking in a loud gasp of air and puffing his chest. His eyes were green, hair styled to the form of a pompadour. He wore a formal suit that Arc only knew a Con-Man capable of wearing, and this pleased him. The mouse sat forward and ruffled out his cheeks in fury, spitting at the rat that carried him here, then rolled away to face Arc, his pelt turning ghostly white. "You're the Sedway I heard about?" The gold rat allowed a large sneer to decorate his lips, leaning forward from his chair with wide, sparkling eyes. "..." The mouse remained quiet. " Awnser me!" Arc suddenly howled, bolting up right in rage. To the companions fear Arc eyed a wine glass, and allowed a huffed smile to surface once more in his wild eyes. "... You are Mr. Sedway." The mouse gulped. Ro, seeing Arc milling dangerously close to the glass, flicked a knife from Rex's back pocket. The rat gave a soft bark as Ro took a place beside the mouse named Sedway, the blade glinting in the dim light as he spun it carelessly on his hands. "I'm not good with my hands, friend." He began, and with this the grey mouse looked up to see how the knife shook in Ro's hands. "Actually, I'mma clutz." The blade dropped and sliced the pink skin of Sedway's hand. "Oww! You slobbin'--" A gaunt hand smacked over the grey conner's mouth before he could protest physically. Arc leaned down, his eyes staring into him, "So you can speak?"
