INTOXICATING

A refreshing springtime breeze traveled it's way through the night time air of the city. It helped to cool down the unseasonably warm night, making it that much easier for the city's denizens to enjoy themselves tonight.

One such citizen felt the building impatience inside his mind finally begin to fade away. He had heard good things about this new club, and decided the first night of his vacation would be the best time to try it out. Finally only a couple bodies stood ahead of him in the waiting line. Even as an adult lines did nothing but bother him.

He had made sure to come alone however. He wanted to enjoy himself tonight. No distractions of any kind, be they positive or negative.

At long last he now stood at the front of the line. Par for the course of any club the bouncer already gave him an eye over, trying to judge just if the bat before him appeared as any sort of trouble maker.

However, all the bat needed to do was just glance up at the bouncer and he was given the nod to head in. Though certainly the large bill that was quickly passed to the larger male didn't hurt the odds.

As soon as he stepped through the final doors into the main area of the club, the ivory furred bat paused. His senses were instantly assaulted by a tidal wave of sights, sounds and smells.

A wild sort of techno dance beat was pounding through the obviously many speakers. He forced his ears to stand straight, wanting to take in every beat of the music alongside the indistinct voices of the many bodies already here.

The main lights were dimmed, the majority of light being provided by the colored spotlights and shining dance floor underneath the feet of the other club goers. At times it almost seemed as if every person here had an aura of light around them all as their bodies would grind and move against each others.

And then there was the assault of scents. He could smell the various liquors of the nearby bar, the mingling scents of cologne and perfume in the air making him somewhat dizzy for a moment. And of course the smell of the bodies, small beads of sweat gliding down them all in an almost carnal display of their shared excitement.

He felt his mouth forming into an almost predatory smirk. His tongue licked itself under the tip of one of his fangs, nearly drawing blood in his excitement.

He made his way over to the bar first, not wanting to rush just yet onto that dance floor. He didn't want to try raising his voice so he simply signaled to the bar tender what he wanted. When it was handed to him he drank it down in almost one smooth gulp. The cold liquor sent a pleasurable chill down his body from the speed at which he drank it.

Ordering a refill, he turned his attention back to the rest of the club. And his deep violet eyes were already moving back and forth, focusing on one alluring body after another. There was indeed plenty here that he could admire tonight, but none yet that looked like they'd be difficult to obtain. No, tonight he wanted a challenge. He wanted the thrill of the chase.

He took a sip this time of his refilled drink, thoughts on what to do next going through his mind. Then his eyes fell upon her and froze.

She must have just arrived, as she now moved on the outer edges of the dancing throng. She appeared only about an inch shorter than he stood at most, wearing an almost body tight, low cut jade colored dress. Her body itself was sensually curved in the places to make any man into a love sick puppy, the scales on her body a hypnotic cerulean.

And then his eyes became locked with her own. They were like pure rubies, as if made to both entice and intimidate. And they were not looking away from his own gaze. And like a mirror she now wore a smirk that surely was the perfect mimic of his own.

He swiftly drowned the remainder of his drink, feeling his body surging from anticipation as he made his way over to this unknown woman. She was backing her way into the dancing throng, her eyes still not letting his own go.

As he finally reached her the bat felt his heart pounding harder now from desire. The music was blasting into his ears now that he stood on the floor with her. And already they were letting it's rhythms and sounds move their bodies together.

A part of his mind felt as if this moment was akin to two predators confronting each other. Their bodies were close now, the scent of the lizard woman's body was becoming almost intoxicating. He felt her hands press against his chest, the soft fabric of his shirt doing nothing to block the feel of sharp claws pressing against his body. And he felt her tongue teasingly slide itself under his chin for a brief second. She was teasing him.

God how he was loving every second of it.

But of course he was about to let himself be outdone so easily. Swiftly he took hold of her waist, turning her back to him and holding her against him. Without hesitation their bodies were grinding together in rhythm to the music.

He leaned his head down and in, and his own tongue slid itself teasingly over her neck. This was followed up by letting his fangs now glide teasingly over the smooth scales of her neck. The silent gasp of pleasure from her made the act more than worthwhile.

He could feel the heat of their bodies mingling together as they continued their dance and teases. The song was reaching it's apex, and still neither of them had said a single word to the other. Such an act would only waist breath.

But finally, it was she who would prove to win their little game. As the song was nearing it's end, she turned to him. And again her eyes looked deep into his own, her body pressing firmly against his own. And like a flash of lightning he felt her lips pressed against his own in a deep and wild kiss of passion.

It was like a fire was raging in the center of his body as he gave in to this. Focusing only on the sensation of her lips and her body against his own.

The song ended, and the kiss between them slowly broke apart as it did. Both male and female breathed in heavily through parted lips, lost in each others eyes.

He was going to ask her name, yet before his lips could form the first syllable she winked at him. Suddenly the lights went dark, then in a few seconds flashed back on in time with the next song.

And he stood there alone, the woman that had drawn him in so wonderfully nowhere to be seen.

Confusion though quickly gave way to realization. Without a word he made his way back to the bar, sliding his hand down his eyes and face and wiping away the beads of sweat.

He ordered his third drink, remaining standing. When it was given to him he took a moment to let his fingers simply hold onto the cold glass his drink had been served in. And a smile now formed over his face as he raised the drink up to eye level, watching the liquid swirl around inside.

This was no one time moment. She was simply laying out the challenge for next time. Neither knew the others name. Only their faces and the feel of their bodies.

He drowned every drop in one gulp. The chase had begun.
