*Author's note* I had originally uploaded this on macrophile.com and never got around to uploading it here until now.

Part I: "Jansen, thanks for coming over here bro." I spoke, grateful that he even didn't consider me completely insane because of my newest creation. I opened the front door and let him in. "Sure, but what was it you needed me for again Keo?" my blond haired friend questioned. "I need you to help me with my new program, i won't make you test it like last time. We both know how that ended up.. I couldn't use your computer for a week." I explained as we both walked to the basement of my home. See, Jansen and I have been friends for many years and he's tried a number of my over the years. Recently, i've been working on a medieval themed program that gives the user the full experience of being a knight and I nearly have it finished. Hell I'll be quite honest, three months of living in the basement and non-stop programming, yielded my best program yet. This program is extremely realistic and the graphics superior to anything produced to date. But enough about my skills. "Here it is J.J., three months of nonstop programing and we have only one thing left to code, but we're going to code it a very special way." He gave me a suprised look at me when I said this. We both staired at my laptop, which was sitting in a corner, running the title screen of my new program with a catchy little midevial theme playing in the background. However, the two helmets next to my laptop caught his eye. "Really keovi, really.. Three months and all you came up with was virtual reality? This really is a low for you." Jansen shook his head and sighed as he spoke this. I just waited until he finished speaking before I explained the helmets. "Virtual reality, do you really think I would waste three months on that? My friend this is better than virtual reality, this is DragonBlade which consists of. . ." And as continued to explain, not being able to hide the pride in my voice as I lectured him on the details of the background, programing, and finally the helmets. However in my lengthy lecture I failed to notice the storm brewing outside. ". . . and there you have it, the complete story of DragonBlade." "Hey, so uh... just how are we supposed to program this thing with those helmets anyway?" Questioned a highly confused Jansen. Instead of another lengthy explaniation I just merely smiled at Jansen and stated. "Just put one of the helmets on, I'll be controling the final boss and my actions will be programed into the dragon bosses behavior, you just have to play as the knight and fight me." At this simple job Jansen smiled and grabbed his helmet, placing it on his head and instantly linking into the game. "Dude this is so real, it's absolutely life-like." I grinned at this and placed in my helmet, getting ready to control the dragon. "Thanks, I tried my best." So we lived in the world of DragonBlade for many hours, unaware of the still building storm outside. Let me correct myself, he played and I guided him through many forests, villages, castles, dungeons, and even space in those hours. When he reached the boss castle I paused the game for a second and grinned at him. "Here's the boss, are you ready?" He glanced over at me and nodded. "I'll take you down." I laughed and shook my head at that. It was a challenge then, a challenge that I gladly accepted. The battle quickly grew intense, every move I made he matched in skill, every attack I made he countered with ease, and the same happened to him. Ten minutes, then twenty, half an hour and still neither of us had a clear advantage. Then lightning struck the house and everything went black.
