Nathan Nettles sat in the cold and dark reception area of a small and burnt out building in the bad part of town. As he sat and watched thick dust and dry plaster flake and fall from the ceiling to the dirty and cracked linoleum that had faded until it was impossible to tell what color the floor was when the building was first constructed. "Why the hell did I come here again?" Nathan thought as he picked at the fibers of his old and faded jeans. The short thin wolf ran his paws through his messy and tangled fur as the old wooden chair beneath him creaked loudly, sounding as if the chair would collapse to the dirty floor at any moment. The wolf picked harder at his jeans and started to growl as he waited in the small room, his eyes drifted over the waist high counter that separated the front of the building from the back and he growled a bit louder as he stared at the small bell that he rand over ten minutes ago went unheeded. With a small roar the wolf jumped to his feet and huffed as he stormed off towards the greasy and cracked glass door that was the only source of light in the windowless building when a horse cough made him turn about and look to the counter. Another wolf had entered the room and cleared his throat, while brushing his thick dark robes off even though the thick dust of the room strangle did not stick or even show on the dark purple costume. Again the robed wolf cleared his throat before saying, "Mr. F is ready to see you now."

Nathan slowly entered the back room and too his surprise it was clean extremely exotic, thick woody incense sent green smoke up into the dark purple curtains that covered the walls before hitting the cloth draped ceiling and falling to the thick red carpet on the floor. A single gold desk sat in the middle of the room and two ebony chairs sat on ether side. This strange mix of sights and smells caused Nathan to get light headed and he gladly sank into the red upholstery of the hard wood chair. He closed his eyes for a second when a voice boomed in the room and shook the wolf to his very bones, he quickly opened his eyes and saw a large lion siting in the chair across from him. The large man was dressed in the whitest suit that Nathan had ever seen the very light of the sun shown in every fiber of the suit except for the tie which was a deep purple that was darker than the night sky. "could you repeat that please?" Nathan stammered as he looked at the big loud lion.

"I said how can I help you?" the lion boomed in the same loud voice even though he was only a foot away from the wolf. The poor wolf winces as the lions sweet breath blew across his face and blinked looking at the large male. "Well my boy, what the hell do you want?" the lion said in a firm voice as he fiddled with his tie and ran his fingers through his thick golden mane. Fear filed the wolf with dread and fear, his paws shook and his feet taped the carpet lightly as he worked up the courage to speak but felt it escape his control and only a small whimper passed his lips. The big lion chuckled and spoke softly "Lets see a friend of yours told you that I could get you anything you want for free right? Well he was wrong you see I can get you whatever you want but its not free it cost your soul." the lion chuckled once more and looked at the wolf "but you don't believe you even have a soul do you, well then I guess that you believe that this deal is free then." Slowly the lion leaned back and folded his paws over his belly and smiled at Nathan.

The wolf slowly opened and closed his mouth as the words began to form and with all his strength he managed to speak clearly to the imposing figure of the lion "Well if you can get me anything then make me a millionnaire playboy!" the wolf giggled at his little joke but suddenly stopped when the lion spoke

"Done."

"What?"

"It is done, all you need to do is sign this." Slowly the lion pulled a thick piece of paper from his pocket and slid it over to the wolf. The wolf looked at the paper then back you at the lion not knowing what to say when suddenly the lion chuckled "Oh yes you need something to sign it with and I still need to sign." with a smile the lion pulled back the paper and pulled out a fountain pen. Slowly the lion traced out the letter F in the fanciest script that the wolf had ever seen in ink that was so black it did not even appear to exist. The thick paper was pushed back at the wolf along with the pen and without a word or second thought the wolf wrote his name on the bottom line. To the wolfs shock and awe his name was written in green ink instead of black and to his greater shock the ink slowly turned darker and darker until it was just as black as the ink that the pin had produced earlier. The wolf was about to ask how that happened but when he looked up the lion was gone only an empty chair remained.

Nathan was rushed from the back room and out into the street by the wolf in the robe, Nathan did not have time to grab the paper as he was rushed out the door and into the street, without a word the wolf in the robe closed the door and disappeared into the back room leaving Nathan to stand in wonder as to what had just happened. Slowly the wolf walked to his old beat up car and kicked the old tread less wheel with enough force to cause rust to flake of the rusted side of the car. "Stupid stupid life." Nathan growled aloud as he slowly got in his car and drove off.

Night falls over the large and luxurious mansion of the ever famous and infamous Bill Belcher the worlds top producer of printed works in the whole western hemisphere and just as the sun sets over the top of the mansion so dose the life of its owner. Inside three middle aged men sit and wait for their dear beloved father to pass away from this world and inside an old and decrepit man lays on his deathbed, rage and loathing over the fact that his worthless sons will inherent all of his worldly possessions. The old mans dread builds to a peak when suddenly a voice from his past whispers in his ear, what it whispered was a name and quickly the old man called up his layer and had changes amended to his will. By morning the boys had lost their father and their home, in the distance a lone cry of joy sounded into the heavens.

Nathan could not believe his luck, who would have guessed that one of the richest men in the world would leave Nathan all of his company and assets. Pure untouched joy filed the wolf as a limo pulled up to his small apartment, but that joy soon faded as the door opened and siting inside was a lion in a bright white suit. "Well mister Nettles if you do not mind would you please hurry we need to get you onto your estate before the press catches wind of you." the lion said softly as he pulled a fat cigar from his pocket and bit the end of it off easily with his shining white fangs. Sweat rolled down the back of the wolfs neck as he crawled into the back of the long car, he shivered as the lion shook his paw and slowly lit the tip of his cigar with a flame that was deep purple, as the end of the cigar caught alight and thick purple smoke rose from it and billowed around the roof of the limo. "Well now sir I held up my end of the deal now its your turn." the lion spoke slowly as he deeply inhaled the sweet purple smoke before blowing the thick cloud into the wolfs face.

"Well it looks like I'm the winner in this deal." the wolf smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck softly smoothing down the fur that stood up on end anytime he was around the lion.

"Yes, Yes you have." the lion smiled as he took a deep inhale and flicked glowing green ashes into a small ash tray that was sitting between the two men.

With a smile the lion put out what was left of his cigar and reached out to take the wolfs paw once more with the words "This is your stop." and as the wolf shook the ions paw, a searing pain shot up his arm and it quickly spread throughout his whole body and it ended as soon as the lion released the wolfs paw. The lion smiled once more and laughed as the wolf quickly left the car and ran into the gates of the estate as hundreds of paparazzi tried to catch a glimpse, the lion laughed hard and said "payment accepted." as the limo pulled off the photographers cursed as the went through the memories of their digital cameras and saw that every picture of the wolf had a dark shadow that obscured him completely
