Plots, Problems, Request
I'm fighting some considerable writer's block (in both furry/porn and "respectable" writing), so I thought I'd just jot down what I have so far.
*Aileana series - Haven't thought about these for so long that I couldn't remember how to spell the name. Meant to be a straight-up porn series, and I have another 22 ideas for her.
*The Doe in the Goo - Finished one, second chapter is about halfway done - but it's very dense about a third of the way through and consequently a source of block for me, yet I worked so hard on that one part I can't bear to cut it. Thinking about changing the title. Should probably study my style here and expand from it.
*The Man, the Boy and the Donkey - ...what was I thinking, exactly? I don't know why I wrote this. Must've been feeling awful or angry. No one - me included - likes it.
And other stuff I'm trying to work on!
*The Bitch Bear (working title) - strong vs. weak, weak wins through trickery. 1/4 done. N/C, a bit of SM probably.
*The Mouse and the Monkey - sort of a D&D style adventure. Planned out, nothing written yet. Possibly No-Yiff, but romantic?
*Teacher and Student - a sexy adventure over spring break. 1/4 of the first chapter is done. The plan is for it to eventually have 10 days/chapters.
*Modern Genie - Concept only (haven't planned anything beyond the title), possible series.
*Boy and Croc - Ancient times (say, Roman or Greek). Slave human is released into a swamp with a horny Croc. Probably not a series. 1/4 done, maybe.
I'm worried about my willingness to write stories with N/C and Underage content; I find them distasteful at best in real life and disgusting at worst. My justification for using them is that the plots and backgrounds of some of them ('Bear' and 'Croc', then 'Doe' and 'Teacher') don't work without the respective content. For example, 'Doe':
The whole story doesn't work without the bullying (harder to explain with older characters), the adrenaline burst from literally running away into a forest (without a map or directional gear?), the rain that hits afterwards (what hiker/camper doesn't pack weather gear?), and her finding the shelter and deciding to masturbate to warm up (I would imagine an adult would bundle up in blankets) - at least, not to me. I couldn't think of another way to make this story flow properly, and my own rigidness (insert joke here) in plotting annoys me.
Then there's the question of force and non-consent. The whole point of 'Bear' is to change someone through it, the justification being that she won't change without it and 'deserves it' - but some part of me likes the idea of forcing haughty strength down to the ground and rubbing its face in the dirt.
Any suggestions or comments? If the (limited) reaction to 'Doe' is anything to go by, my style seems okay but I can't produce as much as I would like (insert joke here), and if anyone knows a good way to force a writer's fingers to move... please share it with me.
