Well I have been working on a new story if any of my readers are interested I would like to show you all the first chapter of it and a summed up version of it. It doesn't have a title yet but I have heard some good suggestions like "Royal Guardian" or "My Guardian", so please give your opinion on it and title ideas or if you think the title should stay the same just say so.

Basically my character is a lucario named Kody but he can switch between human and lucario due ti this pendent around his neck, and it bears the royal family crest symbol and it helps him control his human form but he still growls, yips, etc. I know this isn't making much sense but please bare with me. He is assigned to a reincarnated king as his guardian, he is unaware to the fact that he is king but when Kody gets involved in his life, things start to change for him. It's Kody's job to help him reclaim his throne from an evil tyrant that's destroying the kingdom he never knew he had. He is a highschool sophomore and it switches between Kody's and his view. I know I haven't said the name of the king yet but I'm sure you guys will be able to figure it out.

I was sitting in my first period English class bored out of my mind as our teacher dragged on and on about a book that I haven't even started yet, I think it was To Kill a Mockingbird but I could care less. I turned my head and looked at my reflection in the window, I was wearing my usual hoodie, blue jeans, our teams lacrosse shirt, and black shoes. I brushed my hair away from my eyes and looked at their reflection, they were the same light blue eyes I had since I was born and my hair was the same hazelnut brown color it had always been but I was interrupted when my teacher asked, "Jared? Why do you think Mr. Radley filled the tree with cement?"

I stared at her knowing that she is purposely asking me a question I didn't know to make me look stupid, I shruged and answered, "I don't know, to make it more sturdy." Everyone burst out laughing at my answer, she just shook her head and said, "You know, it would help if you actually paid attention in class."

I shrugged and shot back, "I didn't pay attention in English 1 and I am certainly not going to pay attention in English 2." She got red in the face and I knew I was in for one hell of a lecture but was saved when the principal came in with a new student, "Sorry for the interruption but you have a new student Sarah and I expect all of you kids to treat him nicely." He left the room and Sarah said, "Fine, whatever just sit next to Jared." she pointed to a seat next to me, "I will see you after class Mr. Miller." I rolled my eyes after she called me by my last name and the new kid sat next to me, he had forest green eyes and black hair, he was wearing a yellow t-shirt, a dark blue zip up hoodie with a black hood, blue athletic shorts, and black mid-calf socks that showed he either plays or played lacrosse, but there was something he had around his neck that bothered me, it was a pendant that was made from a transparent crystal with some weird symbol on it, something about it was familiar to me but I have never seen it before so how could it seem familiar? I shook my head and asked, "So whats your name new guy?"

He looked over shyly and answered, "Uhh... My name's Kody... or Koda, I'm fine with either one." I nodded and said, "Nice to meet you Kody, I'm Jared." We shook hands and the bell rang finally dismissing us from class. I grabbed my bag and started walking out the door hoping she forgot about keeping me after class and luckily she did. Kody left the room and followed me down the hall, "So whats your next class?"

He answered, "Biology in the south building." I shoved my hands into my pocket saying, "Me too, wonder if you have any other classes with me..." I stared at his pendant again as we walked towards our Biology class and I swear the pendant started glowing, he must have noticed me staring at it because he grabbed and held it in his hand, "Umm... why do you keep staring at my pendant? It's kind of creeping me out." I shook my head and answered, "It's just that... I get this weird feeling from it. Where did you get it?"

He looked at his pendant as we turned a corner and headed down another hallway, "Well it's been handed down my family for generations." I could tell he was lying but I decided to let it slide, "So, what's on your schedule for today?" He pulled it out and said, "Well, today I have English 2, Biology, Weightlifting, and U.S. history." I eyed him suspicously and said, "Those are all the same classes that I have today..." He looked away, "Maybe it's a weird coincidence.." I grabbed his schedule as we walked into the Biology room saying, "No, coincidence is when you have just a few of my classes, just plain creepy is when you have the exact same schedule as I do!"

We sat in our seats as the teacher started class, we were learning about genetics and this was one of the few classes I actually paid attention in, there was something about Biology that just peaked my interest but as usual all good things have to end.

Kody followed me in power weights and told me we should hangout after school, I said sure but there was something off about Kody though, he was lifting 300 pounds on bench like it was nothing and he didn't look strong or muscular enough to lift that.

I was even more surprised when he maxed out at 500 pounds at the end of class. The teacher let us out early so we could change back into our regular clothes, and we were finally off to our last class of the day. I looked at Kody who seemed real nervous about something, "Kody? What's wrong bro?" He looked back at me and shook his head, "I-It's nothing, honest."

I raised an eyebrow but just decided to drop the subject. We walked into the history class as our teacher started his lecture on World War 1 but I kept zoning in and out during it. Another hour passed by and the final bell rang dissmissing us from class.

Kody walked up to me and asked, "So what are you doing for the rest of the day?" I rubbed the back of my neck, "Well, I'm supposed to meet my girlfriend after her soccer practice but that won't be over for awhile so we can hangout now." He nodded as we walked into the lunchroom and waited there, we talked about lacrosse and which teams we thought were going to win in the NCAA, as I talked with him I started feeling this weird connection or bond with him, like we were supposed to be good friends.

It was getting dark and the last of the students left the school, "Well, I don't know where Kate is, her practice should be over by now." She walked in as if on cue and stopped next to me, "Sorry, coach lost track of time." I nodded in understanding, "It's fine, you're not that late anyways"

She dropped her gear ans leaned in to kiss me but we were interrupted when Kody stepped in between us and glared at Katey, "Don't trust her Jared, she's evil, I feel a dark aura coming from her."

I stepped back and yelled, "You're crazy!!! I've known Katey for years, she's not evil, and what do you mean by dark aura?"

He shook his head, "It's hard to explain, but you have to trust me on this, I know who she is too, she was sent to kill you." I started to get pissed off, "What the hell are you talking about?" Katey looked nervous, "Yeah, what are you talking about?" Kody grabbed her shirt and pulled his fist back, "Don't play dumb! I know you're the serpeant girl!!!"

I tightened my fists and pushed Kody away from her, "That's enough!!! I don't want to hear another word about Kate being sent to kill me. Now get lost Kody!!!" He looked at me with a shocked expression on his face, turned around and ran off.

I shook my head and looked up at Katey,"Sorry about that, Kody is just some new guy I barely know, I hope he didn't scare you." She shook her head, "No I'm fine, are you ready for that kiss now?" I nodded and leaned in pressing my lips against hers,we suckled on eachothers lips and held onto eachother, I pinched her butt making her gasp taking the opportunity to thrust my tongue into her mouth and started massaging it, but something was stoping me, "You like my kiss? My saliva paralyzes anyone who comes into contact with my lips."

I gave her a weird look and tried to move but to no avail, and as I thought this couldn't get any weirder, she started transforming before my eyes. She wasn't the same beautiful girl I had known for years, she was turning into a monster. Her hands turned into razor sharp claws, her tongue had become serpent like, her eyes turned red with blood lust, and her skin turned to scales. I was terrified but the only thing I could say was, "HELP!!!!!!!"

Kody's POV

"Stupid Jared. Who the hell does he think he is, telling me to get lost after trying to protect him from that snake-girl hybrid. I can't believe the elders thought that self centered jerk was the king. Well, if he wants to get killed that's fine by me."

I growled to myself and kicked a random can,"Damnit!" I continued walking aimlessly away from the school since I had no where else to go, "Why I ever thought being a guardian would do some good for me, I will never know." I heard a loud scream for help that I knew belonged to Jared and turned around to run after him but said to myself, "Jared has known her for years he doesn't need me." I turned back around to continue walking but I couldn't do it in good conscience, "Damnit, I can't just let him get killed knowing I could have saved him. Even if he is a prick."

I turned around and ran for all my worth hoping I would make it in time. I was panting hard, but finally made it to the school and ran towards the lunchroom where we had our fight.

Jared's POV

"You should have listened to that little guardian of yours, because now I have the pleasure of killing the future king." She sliced my cheek with one of her claws making my cheek draw blood and I thought to myself, 'Guardian? Is she talking about Kody, and why the hell does she keep saying I'm king, I'm not the king of anything. WAIT!!! Did she say kill?' I was screaming as loud as I could , "HELP!!!" She came face to face with me, "Quiet, your guardian isn't here to protect you, so you might as well save your breath and take this like a man."

I screamed for all my worth as she drew her hand back ready to strike and I thought, 'Is this the end for me? No it can't end like this, there are so many things in life I haven't experienced yet. I won't get to see my family again or see my little sister grow up.'

Tears started rolling down my cheeks as she drew her hand back farther, I closed my eyes hoping she would just end it quickly. I waited awhile and heard a grunt, I wasn't feeling any pain so I opened my eyes to see Kody with her claws stabbed through his right shoulder he was holding it in place trying to protect me.

He grunted as she pushed them farther but turned to me and said, "Now will you believe me if I tell you someone is bad?" I nodded my head.

He looked back at Katey and coughed blood onto her, "It's been awhile serpeant girl, what happened? Did Gerudo run out of good assasins?" She became furious and twisted her claws inside Kody making him scream in pain but he held onto them all the same, "You okay Jared?" I nodded my head as I started to regain feeling in my body. He was panting heavily as his pendent started to glow. His body was changing too.

A metal spike grew out of his wrist's and chest, he grew a blue furry tail, his face became a muzzle making him more canine like, and his skin grew fur and they were the same color as his clothes, blue, yellow, and black, he looked exactly like a lucario, "Well it's been a pleasure seeing you again Katey but you pose a threat to the king and I won't let you hurt him." his voice grew dark as his wrist spikes turned into three metal claws and sliced her claws off, she shrieked in pain.

"Come on we have to go now!!!" He grabbed my arm and we started running, the serpeant girl yelled back, "You can run but I will find you future king!!!" We ran away from the the school for what seemed like hours but was probably only a few minutes and stopped by a group of trees, "I think we lost her Kody... Kody?" He was breathing really heavily, and looked dizzy from all the blood loss, he sat down and leaned back against a tree, I looked at myself and saw my clothes were stained with blood.

"Kody, you didn't have to do that." His eyes were half shut and he had breath between each word, "No I did... you were... in danger and... it's my job... as your guardian to protect you." He sounded really weak, "I just wish I wasn't so tired... help me get theses blades out, they're... really starting to hurt." I shook my head, "No, you'll bleed even more and my mom's a doctor, she can help you." He shook his head, "No I'll only slow you down, I don't... want Katey to catch you, just leave without me." I shook my head and helped him to his feet, "I won't leave you behind Koda, you could have left me behind but you came back and saved me anyways, now I'm not going to abandon you!!! Even if it means I have to carry you on my back."

He looked at me surprised as I carried him on my back, "Jared..." He was about to passout from exhaustion, "I got you bro, just please hang in there." He grabbed his pendent and changed back into his human form, "I was wrong about you, maybe you are the future king..." He blacked out and I continued walking him back towards my house, 'Please Kody, hang in there.' I started off at a sedate pase but gradually worked my way into a run.

I was almost to my neighborhood but I couldn't shake this feeling that someone was following us, I was walking down the street my house was on when a voice I recognized as Katey's said, "I told you I would find you, now I'm going to kill both of you." Kody groaned as I set him down, "No, I won't let you hurt Kody." I charged her and threw a punch at her, "Awww cute, the king has feelings for his guardian." She caught my fist and slammed her knee into my stomach using my own momentum to make the force even greater. I coughed and fell to the ground, she smirked, "Pathetic, you run at me thinking your all tough but have no idea what you're doing."

She walked over to Koda and pulled her hand back that still had claws, "Now watch as I kill your precious Kody." I got up yelling, "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!" My hands started glowing as a ball of light energy formed between them, I instinctually threw it at her. It made direect contact with her and sent her flying back, "You won't touch him." I walked towards her with a ball of fire floating in my hand, "W-Where did you learn such advanced magic?" I ignored her question and threw it at her, when it made contact it immediately exploded, making her body disintigrate.

I picked Kody up again and walked him to my house. I felt exhausted from the amount of energy I used, but continued on into my home.

Well, thats the end of my preview, I don't know when I will work on this more but I was just excited about it and wanted to see what my readers think. I want to hear all of your opinions, and I don't want ones that are like, "You spelled off wrong." please don't put anything like that.
