The doctor led them through the door and stopped. "Cody's condition is stabilizing and you can go into the room with him. We just need to keep and eye on him." The jackal said looking through his charts. "Thank you." Alexis said, she turned to look at Aaron but all she saw was a door swinging. Aaron was at Cody's side holding his paw. Cody was in the bed still passed out with different machines hooked to him and his wounds had bandages over them."If you can hear me babe I don't what you did when we weren't together. I love you too much to let one little thing get between us. You never left after all those bad that happend to you becasue of me. Please just make it babe." Aaron said kissing Cody's paw. Alexis stood in the door way and quiety watched Aaron. Just then Cody's ears twitched and he gently squeezed Aaron's paw. "I swear if I find who ever did this I'm going to kill him." Aaron growled Just then a smaller fox walked in, in a nurses outfit and a clip board. "Hi, I just need to take some vital signs from him real fast." She said in a high pitched voice, looking over Cody's monitors and checking his bandages. Aaron was growling but so slightly that only he could hear it and he was watching the nurse's every little movement. "Do you know when he will wake up?" Alexis asked with a concerned look on her face as she walked over to Cody's side." Not sure." the nurse said "Not sure if it means anything, but when I told him I was here and I held his paw his right ear twiched and he squeazed my paw." Aaron said. "Hmm. Well it's a start. I'll write it down and tell the doctor. He has lost a lot of blood, but should be alright." The nurse said patting Aaron on the shoulder. Aaron flinched when that happend. "Thank you." "Umm, well it seems you've torn some of the stitches and you also have some bruised ribs." she said "Fix it..Please." Cody whined out as he cringed in pain. "Okay, just give a minute and let me get the needle an stiches." she said as she left the room. "You want me to do anything babe?" Aaron asked "I just want you here wuff." Cody said holding Aaron's paw tightly. "Okay babe." Aaron said. Then the nurse came back in and Alexis was right behind her. "What's happening?" Alexis asked in a nervous voice. "He's torn his stiches." the nurse said "Is he going to be alright?" Alexis asked as she looked at Cody who had his eyes shut tight. "He'll be fine. Just need to be more careful." the nurse said "Here I go." she said pushing in the first stich Cody let out a loud yelp and gripped Aaron's paw tighter. "Its okay, I'm here." Aaron said. The nurse finish all the stitches and rebandages Cody's wounds. "Ok I'm gonna get your charts from the doctor and you should be out of here in no time." She said smiling and patting Cody on the head. Aaron again watched her as she left.

"Aaron I'm still really sorry." Cody said lowering his ears. "I still really forgive you." Aaron said "I'll make it up to you I promise." Cody said leaning on Aaron as the sedative the nurse had given himstated to take effect."You can do that being more careful right now." Aaron said.Cody then laid limply in Aaron's arms as he passed out once more, only this time on a happier note.Aaron just smiled and held Cody.
