Chapter 5.

Suddenly Ama ran into the living room, having heard the strange male voice and her sister's voice raised in anger. It was unusual for Caity to raise her voice at all, so she came to see what was going on. She skidded to a halt, seeing all of them sitting down peacefully, when only moments before she had heard her sister so angry and felt something tingle along her spine. She ran over to Dar and Caity and got on the couch next to them, pressing herself against her brother's side, her eyes never leaving the strange older dog fox that was sitting across from them. With Caity in Dar's lap, she was actually pressed against both of them, and she blurted out, "Who is he? And what is he doing here?"

Caity's paw slid down to her sister, lightly resting on her thigh as she felt Dar slip his arm around Ama, the bond between all three of them strong. "This is Azazel, Ama. He's a Mascul fox, and is here to advise Dar. Dar is a royal Mascul, and you and I are royal Femalia. There is much to be learned from Azazel, Ama, for the good of you, Dar and I. Now, shhh, little one, and let him start teaching us, shall we?"

Azazel had waited patiently, knowing that the best introduction had to come from the young vixen's family, especially after what Dar said had happened on their way home. Their current living and schooling arrangement was not appropriate for them, and he would have to set up a better house in a better neighbourhood with much better schools for them. Or, better yet, tutors, so they could learn at their own pace. There was much that they needed to learn, and the regular system did not give help when they should.

As the youngest settled down and Caity gave her attention to him, he nodded. "It is an honour to meet you, Femalia Princess Amarantha. As your sister said, I am here to advise you all, to help you unite the two kingdoms once more. Before the Era of the Night-born, the two kingdoms were allies, at peace with each other, a royal family member from each side was chosen to marry, the pair ruling over both kingdoms. As their union was arranged, they did not love each other, but did what was best for the kingdoms.

"But the Combine faction rose up against the Mascul and Femalia and killed almost all of the royals. A few escaped along with our people that the Combine didn't kill, and brought our kingdoms here. The laws here were much different than what they knew, so they adapted to them, wanting a safe place for the Foxen nation. Here we have flourished, but we still had a long way to go, and now is the time for the prophecy to come to fruition, to unite our kingdoms as never before."

"One female shall be born to both lines, but of the pure Femalia line, with a mark, and Caity fills that to a Tee. Great turmoil will come, but as our kingdoms unite, strength of self and love will be brought out in our combined nation as well as in you, Caity. Strength, you've never had before. You showed me a fraction of the strength that will come to you, and when you do show off your strength, Caity, you will bring the kingdoms together."

Dar listened to Azazel as if listening to a teacher, though this teacher was so much more interesting than the ones he had at the school. He wished that he could take the classes that HE wanted to take, not the stupid ones that were forced on them by the system. He sighed and returned his attention to the elder fox, keeping one arm on Ama as she sat next to him, and the other around Caity. "I now have a question Azazel. Are you saying then that Caity will actually end up with some sort of.... power? I saw the flame too, but I thought it was just something stemming from her more magical studies." He was a bit confused, and there was a streak inside him that might be a bit jealous of Cait and her abilities.

Azazel nodded. "Yes, Caiytlynn does have some magical powers, which have been dormant until you brought them out in her, Dar, but that was something all Femalia have had. The black flame you saw is something only a full Femalia princess can do, but you also have your own talents. You are swift and strong. Mascul's have always been more adept with blades than Femalia. The union between Mascul and Femalia will bring a special blend of sword and sorcery together. It will take both of you to unite the kingdoms together."

"Before you can really unite the kingdoms, though, we must get you set up in the right lifestyle. So to help you out, I have secured a house in a better neighbourhood for the three of you, and instead of going to schools, you will have tutors coming to instruct you. However, I do need to know the subjects you were taking or want to take, so that I can get the right tutors for the three of you. I'll start with you, Princess Amarantha. What would you like to learn?"

The young fox kit's eyes widened as she looked up at him. "Well, the normal classes for my age are too remedial for me. I would like something more challenging than addition and subtraction. Caity and Dar have been helping me, by tutoring me in more advanced things, but even so, the school has not adjusted my classes to reflect what I am learning with them. I need things like multiplication and division, which I have been learning at home, and even more challenging things."

Azazel nodded. "That can be arranged, Princess Amarantha," he said with a smile to the young kit. His gaze moved to Caity. "And you, Femalia High Princess Caiytlynn? What would you like to have your tutors teaching you?"

Caity leaned back against her brother, thinking about Azazel's question. "I want to learn how to control these powers better. Anything else will be spoken of later."

Azazel nodded again, getting the hint of her other lessons, "As you wish, High Princess Caiytlynn. Again, getting you tutors will not be a problem." Finally, his gaze turned to Dar, "And for you, High Prince Darehl? What would you like to learn?"

Dar relaxed against the couch. Azazel was certainly giving them what they needed, a new home and tutors for the subjects THEY were interested in...Finally. He smiled as he considered what he wanted to learn. "Well, I have already moved into the fields of advanced mathematics and computer sciences. However since we don't exactly have much money, I haven't been able to get the proper equipment for doing what I would like, which is artificial intelligence and virtual reality. I want to take Common Artificial Intelligence and Experimental AI. Sha should help me with that I think, OH! And I think I should take some law classes as well."

Azazel nodded. "Yes, the times have been changing since I was living among the Foxen nation. I can help you with the law myself, High Prince Darehl, but I will have to find you the right tutors for the others. The classes chosen by all of you are very good choices. Caity's lessons will be more of a bringing back things from the past, while Dar's will bring the nation into the future; a perfect union between the two for young Ama."

Caity looked down at her sister sitting next to them. "Ama, baby, why don't you go and start working on those problems I gave you last night? I'll be in shortly to help you with some new problems, and get your homework done for tomorrow."

The young kit nodded and got to her knees on the couch, kissing both her siblings before getting down and heading to her room. Caity smiled as she watched her sister, then, turned her attention to Azazel again once the young vixen kit was out of ear shot. "I would also like to learn more ways to please my brother, Azazel."

Darehl watched his younger sister leave and smiled, seeing that she was feeling better from the experience earlier. He returned his attention to the elder fox when Cait asked Azazel about pleasing him. The elder fox smiled as well, "Now, Caity that was something that I should be able to teach you without much trouble. It used to be the mother's duty of course, but I am just as qualified, knowing what my sister did for me, and my mother for my father."

He stood and Dar put up a hand, "One moment though. I must make one thing clear! If I'm involved in any of this teaching, it's going to be Caity doing the touching, not you!" He laughed.

Caity giggled and turned to nuzzle her brother. "I would hope you prefer my touch to a male's, Dar," she whispered huskily, giving his ear a long slow lick.

Azazel shook his head, then, cleared his throat to get their attention. "It will be Caity touching you. I just stood, as the first part of this lesson should be conducted in the bedroom, though, honestly, Dar, you can take Caity any time you want, in any room you want to. Part one of the lesson, Caity, is that you cannot wear clothes around your brother, especially in the house. When you are out, you can wear something Dar approves of, but no under things. You must keep yourself ready to please Dar anytime he wants to take you."

Dar nuzzled back into her and whispered, "of course" with a wink, then listened to Azazel, but remained quiet, as he began to tell Caity what she would need to do.

"You will have to explain why you are not going to be wearing clothing to Amarantha, but I'm sure she will understand, she's a very bright child, as are you all," he smiled before continuing, "Apart from that rule, you are to obey Darehl no matter what it is he tells you to do. Normally I would say that, of course, that doesn't include killing yourself, but I know Darehl would never suggest that anyway."

Another upturn of his lips graced his face. "That rule is extremely important to building his respect as leader of the Mascul. If others see that you obey and listen to him, even if you are Femalia, it is a sign of respect."

He motioned for them to follow him, and Darehl stood, lifting Caity to her feet and taking her hand. Azazel crossed to their small kitchen and looked around before scratching his chin and reaching to grab a medium sized cucumber off of the table. He winked at them as he handed it to Cait. "We'll be using this in a few minutes," he said, then turned down their hallway toward the bedrooms.

As they walked, he continued, "Beyond what you may normally think of when you mention 'pleasing' Dar, you must learn another aspect of it. There are going to be times when he won't feel like being 'pleased' in any sort of sexual manner."

He paused to let Darehl step in front of the door so that it would admit them, being keyed to his genetics, then Azazel continued, "Though I'm sure for a young male fox such as him, there will be many times when he WILL feel like being pleased that way," he chuckled, and Dar blushed slightly.

"At such times as those you must learn to please him however else you may, whether that be to serve him food or drink, to give him a massage, dance, sing or any number of things."

He paused, looking at Caity fully, his eyes holding hers, "Do you understand so far?"

Caity listened silently, her quick mind taking in his mini lesson. She had taken the cucumber gracefully, though a quizzical look crossed her face at the time. She showed Azazel that she knew when to speak and when to listen. Her paw remained in Dar's as they walked down the hall to his room.

She watched her brother open the door, then, looked at Azazel again. "If I have it right, I obey Dar in front of the people, pleasing him with massages, food, drink or anything else he wants, but my words will still be heard and weighed as possibly of value to the Foxen nation, correct? I'm not in this for just one side to reap the benefits. I'm in this to bring both nations together and grow in strength together."

Azazel nodded, "Of course. You can speak, and Dar will weigh your opinion as well as his own to see which path would be best for us all. But for now, let's go inside and get started on this lesson."
