After departing med bay the walk to Kayla's office had been short and in utter silence, that is except for Sasha's soft growl, the feline sheathing and unsheathing her claws the whole way as she pondered how easy it would be to just claw the smug expression off this pompas males face. Now as the group sat in the Captains office the Tiger just leaned back in his chair still picking chunks of meat from his teeth as Kayla silently reviewed some information on her personal terminal with her ears folded back in concentration, Drake standing behind her having joined them at the vixens request.

Captain Carnes as a leader and predator knew this game well, the vixen was trying to show her dominance by forcing him to weight as she seemingly addressed a more important matter. He himself would do this with members of his own crew when he was about to verbally cut them to shreds, it always working so much better when he weighted until that perfect moment when there anxiety was at its fullest. The tigers muzzle parted in another of those smug, self-confident grins as he decided to deny her that satisfaction, the large male almost purring as he broke the silence with a politely spoken " Well dear Captain, I have a very busy schedule as I am sure you must as well, I have to prepare my cargo to disembark at gateway station. Perhaps we can pick this up some other time, maybe when you are better organized?"

Normally Kayla was not the type to let an insult like that pass, if any of her crew had dared to question her competence she would very quickly show them just how good at her job she was. The vixen knew that she could not allow this male to get to her, not with the culmination of 4 days of planning just a few minutes away. From the night nova had told them about his life Kayla knew it was going to be problematic getting legal ownership of there boy from this feline, the vixen having spend hours consulting the ships computer on every relevant alliance law pertaining to slave ownership. She knew that as a last resort she could always confiscate him on the grounds of alliance security, but if she did that it would mean nova was a prisoner of the empire and it would be that much harder to protect him from the intelligence buro when they got home, no she needed to procure nova as her personal property if her plan was going to work. The inspiration for this meeting and for this almost foolproof method of gaining that much needed ownership had come from her kitten on the second night, Sasha having come from a family of well respected slave trainers the feline was far more versed in all the loop holes and back doors they would need to pull this off, the vixen chuckling to herself as she thought if only Carnes knew just how prepared they were for this he would have just signed nova over right then and there.

With all the information she would need displayed on her terminal and queued up on her data pad Kayla turned her piercing gaze to the wolf, her expression unchanged as if his comment was meaningless as she spoke " Not at all Captain, I think I have all the information I need now. First off I would like to make one thing very clear to you, I despise your kind, anyone that makes there living off the backs of prisoners, the unfortunate or even criminals lacks honor and integrity in my opinion. Wile I normally don't prejudge Anthros before meeting them when I heard you saving your own tail and abandoning your cargo to die I knew you where this kind of person and I was prepared to leave you to the same fait as well, but I do have integrity and I take my oath to protect all alliance citizens seriously. That being said even though I am within my rights to recommend charges be filed agents you for your cowardness I am prepared to allow you to disembark my ship without incident and even take the cargo you abandoned with you, but nova is staying here, I am even willing to compensate you for him, that slave has proven to be a valued asset to this ship, name your price."

Captain Carnes just smiled at the vixens hallow threat, he knew perfectly well with the destruction of his ship imminent he was with in his rights to order his crew to save themselves, even if she did recommend charges be filed for leaving the animals to die nothing would come of it. As for her personal view of him the tiger could care less, he had been coming up agent her kind ever since he started in this business, Anthro's he felt where just jealous that they where to weak to dominate and control another, let alone an entire ship load of them at once. What he did care about was this bitch trying to steal the most valuable slave in this shipment, in fact just before his ship had been attacked he had been working his contacts back home and had arranged a buyer willing to spend more then enough to cover his losses on this trip for that animal. With a grin of untenable arrogance and his teeth showing the tiger just calmly and professionally spoke, his eyes locked on the vixen's as he replied " Normally I would be happy to sell you a play thing for your amusement Captain, but that particular animal is spoken for. Besides after sampling that slave for my self I can confidently say that even if it was for sale you could not afford it, I know what fleet Captains make."

Kayla's calm mask cracked at hearing that, her ears standing tall as she asked " And what exactly do you mean by "Sampled" him? The vixen was firmly hoping that the tiger had not meant what she thought he meant, but as his grin got even darker the captains fears where all but confirmed.

Carnes seeing that he had gotten to his adversary decided to press the advantage as he picked up his whip and tapped the hilt of it to the side of his muzzle, a dark and sinister tone in his voice as he matter-o-factly spoke " I have to admit it put up a nice struggle at first, but after some not to gentle persuasion it was a quite pleasant toy for this voyage, it will be a shame to sell it, if not for the price I am getting I would be tempted to keep it for myself, it was nice and tight."

That is when it all clicked in Kayla's mind, the poorly hidden whip marks that had drawn her attention the night they had dinner, then the doctors medical report, Crystal's words echoing in her mind "The patient also shows signs of recent and long term forced sexual trauma, the claw marks and anal tearing indicating the most recent damage was inflicted by a feline of unknown breed." Kayla had to fight to control the rage building up inside her, this male had known exactly what to say to let her know he had raped the slave but had stopped just short of anything that would hold up in court. Not that he would have to worry about being prosecuted for it, even though rape was a crime that could get him a good 10 years in a prison collar, it was one of the dirty little truths that given the war with the humans, the treatment of enslaved ones was often overlooked.

As badly as she wanted to take bloody vengeance for there boy right then and there Kayla knew she would have to control herself, besides given what she was about to do killing the male would have been letting him off easy. With a forced smile on her muzzle and an even more forced tone of calmness in her tone the vixen picked up her data pad and spoke " well I had hoped you would be reasonable and part with this one slave, but I guess you leave me no other choice but to file this salvage order on all of them with the shipping authority when we reach space dock."

Captain Carnes smug expression and arrogant tone where discarded in an instant as he bolted to his feet and snatched the data pad from Kayla's paw, the tiger roaring "Salvage my tail, those animals are mine you bitch." The tiger had not even pulled his paw back before Drake had grabbed it, twisting it and landing the feline face down on the captains desk in a painful arm lock, even if the wolf still did not want the slave on his ship he would be dammed if someone was going to lay a claw on his captain.

Now Kayla's smile was genuine as she calmly reached out and plucked the data pad from the Tiger's paw, Drake having put him down just as she had expected. Step one complete, the tiger would be angry now and angry makes for stupid decision making, time to move on to step two and really get his blood boiling. In a calm and professional tone the vixen spoke as she set the data pad on her desk " Now, Now gentle-furs there is no need for violence, Mr. Ash please release the Captain, I don't think he will be making that mistake again."

Drake grudgingly obeyed and released Captain Carnes, still standing at the desk between the Tiger and his Captain as if to dare this cat to try that again. With the tiger back in his seat and rubbing his wrist Kayla continued, her ears flicking a few times as she spoke " Now, as I was saying before your little out burst this log clearly shows you giving the order to abandon ship and leaving the slaves to die."

As she finished that statement the vixen pressed the play button on her Data Pad, it playing back the order to abandon ship in the Tigers own voice "Carnes to all crew, Abandon ship, repeat Abandon ship, the engine core is about to breach, leave the cargo and save your own tails."

When it finished Kayla continued " According to interstellar shipping regulation 231, sub-section 4 the second your escape pod cleared the hull of your ship that made it open salvage. When I gave the order to teleport the slaves from your cargo holds you where over 2 miles away as verified by our teleporter logs, so dear Captain they are now the property of the Anthro alliance star services and as my commission I will be keeping nova."

Then according to her plan she purposefully pushed him, adding with a grin "Of course you can always pay the salvage fee to regain your cargo, but given the debt you are facing I don't think you can afford 50% of the retail cost of 237 slaves, especially once I report to the insurance authority that you where running outside of the approved transit lanes."

The tiger was now shaking with anger, his teeth fully bared as he realized just how bad this could be for him. If this bitch filed that report it would void the insurance on his ship and with the up front cost of capturing the slaves and transporting them if he did not receive payment for them it would surely bankrupt him. As much as it would damage his reputation he was left with no other choice but to back out of the deal he had struck for the animal in question, hopefully he could convince the buyer there slave had died in the attack. The furious tiger barely contained his growl as he relented, trying to reason with the bitch in hopes she would not ruin him. "What if I sign over ownership of the animal you want free of charge? Then will you bury that report and let me keep my cargo?"

Kayla just grinned, this is exactly what she had expected, this stupid slaver was playing his part like she had given him a script, all she needed to do was push him a little more and his tail would be hers. With a smug expression of her own the fox leaned forward resting her chin on her interlaced fingers as she mockingly asked " why in the universe would I allow you to take them back and falsify my report to command, I stand to gain an extremely valuable personal slave for myself and turn a tidy profit all for just doing my job."

The Tiger, now seething with anger wanted nothing more then just 30 seconds alone with this fox, matriarchy or not he was never the type to allow females to push him around. He knew If he could get this bitch behind closed doors for just a moment, he would put her in her place like he had so many slaves over the years, in fact he always got his greatest joy from slapping around some high and mighty bitch serving a sentence in a prison collar. It helped the Tiger to get himself under control thinking about shaving this fox's tail and dying her fur like he had done to brake the most unruly females under his ownership, yes humiliating this bitch would be so fitting after what she had just done to him. With that thought firmly in his mind he looked back to Kayla and forced a smile on his muzzle as he said " I can think of 2 very good reasons Captain. One, you have made it clear that for some reason this one animal is important enough to you that you would ruin me over it. If you go the official rout filing this clam it would mean hours of paper work and even more time spent explaining the reasons for it to your superiors, a headache I am sure you would much rather avoid. Two given that you have expressed such disapproval of my profession I know that you will not have the contacts to get the best price for the slaves."

The Tiger stopped for a second then licked his lips, his tail lashing a few times as he made his move " So, what i propose is this, I gift the animal you want to you free of charge, and you allow me to sell my cargo. Once I have received payment I will cut you in for 10% and you forget to file that report, you still make the same profit and get your slave without financially ruining me or even having to tell the military about the income. Win / Win for both of us."

Kayla's smile just broke into an evil grin as she thought " GOTCHA." She had just caught this stupid male on video surveillance attempting to bribe a fleet officer, a good 4 to 5 year sentence in a labor camp. That was it, the whole point of this meeting, she now had this male by the balls, she could file the salvage order and he would have to many legal problems to be able to contest it, nova was hers. She was tempted to just quit wile she was ahead and call this a win but she was still unsatisfied, not after hearing how he had taken such pleasure in violating there boy, she wanted more, she wanted to hurt him, to make him pay. This was going off script so to speak, but she knew her kitten would be able to keep up as Kayla seamed to ponder the offer for a few moments, then sweetly smiled as she answered " I don't think so Captain, with this salvage order I will get nova either way and as for the profit from the sale of the other slaves that is just icing on the cake that I could easily do without. Even if command only sells them for 1/10th of what they are worth, it will still be better then returning them to your tender mercies, or lack there of, for a single day."

The Tiger exploded at hearing that, not able to hold back his rage anymore as he stood and screamed, his claws extended and teeth showing as he snarled "BY THE DARK PIT WHY? Tell me, tell me why you are determined to ruin me over this animal, its a human for Goddess sake!!!!!"

That was it, she could see him teetering on the edge, time to strike the final blow to his ego and with any luck, give this male exactly what he deserved. Kayla slammed her data pad down on the desk and growled back " You want to know why? I'll tell you why! I was only going to lay my clam on nova, but after hearing you violated that boy I will make sure you get nothing. Because he is no animal, he is a sweet, kind, loving, loyal and obedient soul, one that deserves far better then to be sold like some cheap piece of meat to line your pockets."

Then Kayla rose and leaned forward until her muzzle was just inches from the tigers, her teeth showing in a clear act of anger as she turned her tongue lashing personal "In the few days he has been here that boy has earned a place in the hearts of everyone he has met and proven himself worthy of our trust, he deserves better then to be abused and violated like some play thing for your amusement you, you cowardly child."

Kayla could see the pure rage in the Tigers eyes as he reached back and extended his claws, she had beaten him, she had pushed him just hard enough to cause him to lash out at the ball busting bitch doing her best to destroy him. This is why she had gotten so close to the male, it allowed him to bring his claws down on the side of her muzzle so hard it knocked her off her feet before Drake could stop him. Bribery was one thing but now he had just committed assault on a fleet officer, a crime that carried a mandatory 30 years sentence. It was not quite justice for what had been done to nova, but in some small way now Kayla could feel like she had gained retribution for there slave and at the same time relive her guilt at him having been hurt in the test she had allowed to happen.

The Infuriated Captain Carnes realized three seconds to late what he had done, he had allowed her to trick him, he had fallen into her trap. He did not even have a chance to react as Drake landed a powerful kick to his ribs, the tiger sent flying into the far bulk head as Sasha quickly moved to aid her love. The wolf had already pounced Captain Carnes and started binding his paws behind his back with the shackles from the slavers own belt as Kayla once again got to her feet, the vixen a little shaky as she held her muzzle, blood dripping from between her fingers as she ordered "Mr. Ash, take this Anthro into custody for the assault and attempted bribery of a fleet officer, I want that cat in the brig, NOW."

Then as Drake pulled the Tiger to his feet she added with spite " I hope you enjoy your slavers chains male, you will be wearing them for many years to come."

The livid Tiger could be herd as Drake drug him away kicking and screaming "You tricked me you bitch, I will get you for this you hear me, you have not seen the last of me, I will have my revenge."

Once the doors where closed and the tigers screams where silenced Sasha quickly retrieved a dermal regenerator from the emergency med kit Kayla kept behind her desk, the white tiger using it to close Kayla's wounds as she disapprovingly muttered "I don't remember that being part of the plan we discussed puppy, I cant believe you let that male hit you."

The vixen winced as the energy field stimulated cellular growth and closed each of the deep gashes, it also temporarily numbing her pain receptors. Even knowing her muzzle would still be sore for days she still felt it was worth it as she whispered "It is only a little blood for a very good cause my love, besides nova had to bleed to earn our trust, how could I ask any less of myself."

Sasha just smiled lovingly and leaned in to lick her puppies nose as she purred " I did not know how much the grease monkey's slave meant to you my love, to allow some male to hurt you like this, are you truly ready to except him into our lives for who and what he is?"

Kayla just nodded and took a seat on her couch, the vixen snuggling up in her mates arms as she sighed "To tell the truth my love I don't think I will ever be completely comfortable with him being a slave, but he is worth keeping for how happy he makes Dana if nothing ells."

"That and his cooking " The white tiger added as she kissed her captain deeply and lovingly. Then Sasha grinned pulling a new data pad from her pocket, her tone soft an teasing as she giggled " Well dear heart I have the ceremony for you to memorize, honestly I never in my life thought I would hear you speak these words, but then again I never thought you would own a slave either." With that Sasha reached over and locked the door, both females deciding to share some stolen time together in the privacy of the Captain's office where they would not be interrupted this time.

Back in medical things had finally calmed down, the injection Crystal had given to the slave having taken longer to work then she would have liked due to it having been formulated for Anthros. His heart rate and blood pressure where now back well within the safe range and he was drifting on the edge of sleep, Crystal having to give him a very mild stimulant to counteract the sedative and keep the boy awake. Wile more sleep might be good for nova she could not risk it for several more hours, not with the strain to his system he had just suffered from the anxiety of seeing Captain Carnes again. With the slave stable and out of danger the Doctor had excused herself to update his medical file and to clean up her office, Crystal truthfully just needing the time alone to bleed off her own anger.

Dana having crawled back into bed with her slave just curled her arms around the boy and held him close, kissing her human deeply and lovingly. With nova much calmer and safely protected in her arms Dana had asked him why he found the tiger so frightening, the mink regretting having asked before the boy even finished his first day in the felines ownership. Tenderly she silenced him with a finger on his lips and then cuddled up close, not a trace of pain or fear where left showing on his face, for a reason he did not understand each time his Mistress touched him he was flooded with feelings of warmth and safety.

Dana just held her boy close, resting her muzzle on the side of his neck so that he could not see her eyes, the Mink feeling such unrelenting anger for the tiger, but at the same time a matching level of pride in her boy. His first experience with Anthro's had been a beating and brutal violation at the paws of the male that owned him, yet he had been nothing but polite and helpful to her and her staff from the first moment he was brought on board, with a first impression like that it would have been so easy for him to judge the entire race as being so cruel and brutal. That only served to remind her what a special person her slave was, as she was coming to understand his ability to forgive seamed boundless, in that moment she knew that even when she eventually made mistakes with him, her boy would always forgive her.

After depositing the slave back in bed Toby had taken a seat next to Eshara near the Doctors office, the Big Bear silently watching the unicorn very intently as her eyes locked on the boy and her breathing slowed to almost a stop. He had seen her in this state several times before, this is how she got when she was in full contact with someone's mind and was actively using her gifts on them. Toby knew this was as natural as breathing for her and it was also why the priestess's of the order of light served on star ships, with the combination of there telepathic and empathic gifts they where uniquely qualified to help others deal with the stresses of war and long term isolation from there friends and families. Knowing all this and having spent years getting to know Eshara personally, the big bear was still troubled that she had entered the boy's mind without asking his consent. All he could guess was she was braking her vows because nova did not know she was telepathic and this was the best way to protect him from the traumas he had recently suffered.

In generations past the unicorn race had misused there gifts for there own selfish and personal gain, even going so far as to kill there enemies with just the power of there minds. Wile at first it was overlooked or in some cases even encouraged when it worked to the benefit of those in power, soon after the end of the "PREADITOR / PRAY WARS" the newly formed leadership realized just how much power the unicorns had gained. With no one to stop them the unicorns had started enslaving weaker races and forcing them to build fortified cities and weapons, the goal being to seize control of the whole planet in there misguided belief that they could prevent another inevitable war between the races by enslaving and controlling them all.

The newly enthroned Empress Bard, the first head of the new Anthro Empire and progenitor of the same royal line that still governs the planet to this day saw the threat and sent out a call to arms, this pulling all the other races together in a way that nothing ever had before. With predator and pray fighting side by side the unicorns soon found themselves trapped within there fortresses and cut off from there own enslaved army's, the power of there minds not enough to stand up to the 10's of thousands of warriors acting with the same common will, to destroy the threat. Even more there where unicorns that had remained loyal to the Empress and where on the battle fields acting as shields for the fighters to prevent there sisters from telepathically killing them, this quickly bringing about the fall of the unicorn nation and nearly leading to there extinction in a war that would never be forgotten.

Unlike past wars that had raged for countless years the " MIND WAR" ended in a little over 2, the unicorns fighting to the last in refusal to be captured and enslaved to an inferior race. When the blood shed had ended the only survivors of the unicorn race where the only ones that had refused to fight on either side, the ones that had dedicated themselves unwaveringly in there faith to the goddess. This small religious order had been left in peace by the Empress's army's because of there almost fanatical belief in there vows, forbidding themselves from touching another's mind without there express consent.

For almost 200 years after the war the holy order of light was left alone in there mountain temple to allow the hatred of the past to slowly fade away before the Empress returned, the now elderly leader and her 3 children inviting the order to send a representative to take there rightful place in the royal court and on the inter racial council of elders. At first the blessed Matriarch had refused telling them that her order wanted nothing to do with politics and leadership, only offering to allow souls in pain seeking guidance to enter there temple.

It stayed like that for another 300 years, the unicorns never leaving there isolation except to help others in need until they where once again approached by the new empress who's mother had passed away in a tragic accident, the very young ruler begging for there guidance not for herself, but to help prevent her from making mistakes due to her inexperience that could lead to the downfall of the new age of enlightenment that had been gained through blood, sweat and tears.

Seeing that this child was not ready to rule on her own the blessed matriarch had agreed to send her own daughter to act as an adviser on the condition that the rest of the races gave there consent and that it was also understood that, as an adviser she would not be responsible for making any leadership decisions. Not wishing for the past to repeat itself the unicorns would refuse to use there gifts for anything except counseling, nothing more, and that is how it remains in present day, even though a unicorn sat on the high counsel they would always abstain from voting on all but the gravest of matters.

Even when the blessed matriarch of the order would cast a vote it was only after careful deliberation with the orders elders, a democracy within a democracy so to speak. That is why this race that was once so feared, now where looked apone as bastions of truth and integrity. A priestess word was nearly beyond reproach when asked to verify someone's truthfulness and when it came to the welfare of a lost soul in pain, no one would dare question a priestess's right to protect them.

Perhaps that was why in the past few decades with the emergence of telepathic abilities in Anthro races other then the unicorns there had been a slowly growing movement to pass new laws to restrict these genetic abnormalities, or evolutions, from misusing there gifts. With the priestess's having self regulated themselves since the beginning of the new age there had never been a reason to pass laws except for acts of murder or the occasional rogue that would leave the order and reject her vows, even then punishment was always delt with by the blessed matriarch herself or the royal court.

But now with this minority group of other races growing each day and refusing to live by the order's strict standards Anthros in power began to fear another conflict between telepaths and non telepaths, it getting to the point that just before the war there had been a call to have these evolved Anthros segregated from the rest of the population.

The Blessed matriarch in her infinite wisdom had proposed these children be sent to her temple for there educations, an offer the Empress had grudgingly conceded to, it not being the most popular of compromises given how dedicated to the welfare of there cubs most Anthro families where. This solution had seamed to work out well, nearly all the children sent to the temple receiving the very best education possible and still returning home every few months to be with there families, some of them even finding very well paying jobs as royal truth finders, licensed mental health practitioners or even joining the military as intelligence officers.

What the big bear could not have known was that Eshara was not simply touching the slaves mind, she was actively projecting feelings of warmth and safety into him, the priestess doing her best to counteract the stress that the Tiger had caused. Given how much strain his terrified reaction had caused to his already weakened body the priestess felt that for his own good she needed a better way to keep the slave calm, the Priestess searching out his most recent and happiest memories then binding them to Dana and only Dana's touch.

This kind of mental manipulation was pushing the very limit of what her moral code or the covenants of her order would allow, the trigger not meant to rob the slave of his free will, only to prove a temporary safeguard that would allow his owner to protect his weakened body from stress that could do him irreparable harm with just a tender touch. Even with the minks consent to do whatever she felt was best for nova, Eshara knew that she was most likely going to face cincher from her matriarch for walking that fine line between mind control and protective manipulation, a price she was gladly willing to pay for there boys welfare. Once she was sure the mental command was stable she broke contact with the boy and leaned back in her chair, one paw massaging the bridge of her muzzle, the contact having taken its toll on the mare. Honestly she could not remember the last time she had used her mental abilities to this extreme and it left her feeling very weak and drained.

The results where more then Eshara could have hoped for, nova was now calmly snuggled up in his owners arms, Dana sitting up in bed with her slave cuddled up laying with his head on her chest, one of her paws petting his head lovingly. Floating on a cloud of endorphins and pain medication nova just laid still on his Mistress's chest, his breathing and heart rhythm so soft she was not sure if he had drifted off to sleep. The mink was nearly startled when her boy spoke after a wile, his voice barely a whisper as he asked " Mistress I am scared of what Master will do if he takes me back, please don't let him hurt me."

She wanted so much to tell her boy how he had earned his place with them and what was to come, to tell her slave that she loved him and would never again allow him to be harmed. Seeing that her boy needed comfort the mink just traced a finger down his cheek and under his chin, using just one claw to lift his head in a gentle show of dominance until she could look into his eyes. She knew in her heart what her boy needed to hear for his own peace of mind and by the goddess she was going to give it to him, her voice very tender as she kissed him then replied " My little blessing you are mine, now and forever and no one is ever going to take you from me, just put Carnes out of your mind, you will never have to see that cat again."

When the kiss broke nova just smiled dreamily, a soft blush on his face as he gently curled his arms around the mink's waist and whispered "yes Mistress, thank you."

As Dana had been comforting her boy, Toby seeing the Priestess's drained condition had quickly gotten her a glass of her favorite tea from the dispenser, the big bear knowing from personal experience that after exerting herself like this she would need the refreshment and most likely a good meal to recover. Once she had a little time to regain her strength and for the color to return to the inside of her ears Toby licked his lips, the bear about to speak when Eshara beat him to it, the mare softly whispering "I don't have to be a telepath to know what your thinking big bear, I can see it on your face."

The bear was chagrined, he should have known the ever watchful unicorn would have noticed his distress. With a contrite look on his face Toby lowered his head and tenderly replied "I don't doubt your intentions mother, but to anyone that did not know you it would have looked like you where invading the boys mind, you know how some less enlightened Anthro's might make an issue of that."

Eshara nodded and took a drink of her tea, a soft expression on her tired muzzle as she whispered "I realize that big bear, but Dana as his owner has given me free rain to do what I feel is best for him. Given how deeply that child feels his fears, it was the only way i could think of to protect him, I gave him the touch of bliss, now the grease monkey can prevent his fears from doing him harm just by lovingly touching him until we can work out something better."

Then the mare giggled and smiled as she leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek, a tender and suggestive tone in her voice as she added "You know one of the memories I used was when you and that, ummm, friendly, mate of yours both gave him a hug in your kitchen, it seams our boy has taken a liking to you both."

The big bear was barely able to hold back a deep belly laugh at that, the inside of his ears turning pink as he chuckled " Friendly, is that what we are calling him now? As much as I love my mate I am going to have to speak with him about his "Wondering" paws before one of the crew files harassment charges."

Eshara started to giggle at that then quickly cupped the bridge of her muzzle, mental fatigue from implanting the command painfully stabbing at her mind. With that she finished her tea and sighed looking up to the big bear " I need to go rest child, this took a lot out of me."

Toby just nodded and kissed her paw as he replied " Of course, Of course, Go rest mother, with all those that care for that boy on this ship, it would take an all out invasion for him to be hurt again."

Before silently slipping from the room the priestess leaned in close and whispered In the bear's ear "It would do the child some good if you can talk crystal into letting him out of here for a little wile, being the center of attention is making him very uncomfortable." With that Eshara took her leave and headed for her cabin, it was true she did need to rest, but first she had to contact her cast matriarch about this slave, she knew the sooner they met this boy the better.

As the unicorn left Toby turned back to Dana and her slave on the bed, one of his paws covering his muzzle to repress a grin, Nova's face was beat red and his heart monitor had picked up noticeably. Dana it seams had gotten a little frisky with her boy, the bear clearly seeing her long tongue wiggling around in the poor humans mouth as they kissed. He decided to rescue the poor boy and take the priestess's advice, walking over to the bed with a teasing rumble "How about we head over to the kitchen and get something to eat before you give the poor boy a heart attack Grease monkey."

Dana just smiled and gave the bear a pink tongue, the minks answer cut off by her boy's stomach rumbling as if it was casting its own vote. Both of them laughed as nova lowered his eyes in embarrassment, the big bear reaching over to run his claws threw the boy's hair as he chuckled "Sounds like we have our answer."

The mink slowly helped her boy sit up, being as careful as she could with him as she spoke "well we are less then 12 hours from home and there will be a lot to do once we get there, so dinner sounds good to me, as long as Crystal says our little blessing is ok for a short outing I don't see why not."

The bear just smiled innocently and handed Dana the boys new loin cloth as he rumbled " I am sure by the time he is ready to go Crystal won't have a problem and if she does we will just drag her along to watch him." As the bear wondered off to find the Doctor Dana helped her boy to get dressed, this replacement loin cloth being the same soft pink leather as the one ruined in the attack except for a new small pouch added to the belt, the big bear's personal touch looking very pretty.

When Toby poked his head in the Doctors office he found the old jaguar softly chuckling with an image of the first officer on the half broken display screen precariously perched on her disarranged desk, most of its contents still laying on the floor. As disturbing as the trashed office looked the big bear could not help but smile when he heard the captain in the back ground calling here kitty - kitty - kitty just before Sasha hissed softly and switched off the screen, sounds like the lovers where making up for lost time. The big bear just smiled as he picked up one of the over turned chairs and took a seat, Toby clearing his throat with a wicked grin on his muzzle as he inquired with a wiggle of his eye brows " our fearless leader and her love putting on a show for you Doc?"

It took a few seconds before Crystal could get herself under control enough to speak, her tail lashing softly as she wiped her eyes and replied " it's not what you think you dirty old bear, Sasha was just telling me about the meeting. Let it never be said our Captain does anything small, she not only got permanent ownership of nova, but she now owns every slave on board."

The big bear got a mock look of horror on his face as he chuckled " O dear goddess, 200 nova's now we're going to loose the war for sure, we will all be to fat to get to our stations, that is if we don't explode before we even reach home."

Crystal just smiled " I don't think so big bear, Kayla excepting nova as a slave on her ship is one thing, he is special, I doubt she would allow a second one. "

Then the jaguar covered her muzzle and softly chuckled " O and I forgot to tell you the best part, to top it all off that smug Tiger is in the brig facing assault and bribery charges. I asked Sasha to make me a copy of the security log, I cant weight to see how Kayla manipulated that male into using his claws on her."

That earned a deep laugh from the bear in return, Toby seeing such justice in that given what the tiger had done to his helper as he added " After you left Dana asked our boy why that tiger scared him so much. All I can say is that slaver is getting exactly what he deserves, chains and a collar are to good for him, He, he violated nova in a way that only another male could."

Crystal just narrowed her eyes, the feline knowing instantly what the big bear meant, she had seen the results of it first paw during nova's examination. Before she could speak Toby sighed and leaned in close to softly ask "our guiding light suggested we get nova out of here for a little wile, if its ok with you I would like to take him and Dana to the mess for a meal and change of scenery."

Thankful for the change of subject crystal reviewed the boys latest scans, then entered a few notes as she spoke "Normally I would have to say no, he is doing his best to hide it but that boy is in a world of pain." She looked into the bears eyes, the concern for nova showing as plane as the frown on his face, it causing the doctor to relent with a sigh " But I guess I can give him a pain suppresser for a short outing on 2 conditions."

Toby smiled and perked up a little as he happily stated "Name Them."

Crystal started preparing the injector as she spoke " First you are not to let him overexert himself, he is still to weak for anything strenuous and second I want him to wear a portable health monitor incase there are complications, at the first sign of trouble he comes right back here, deal?"

The bear just grinned and pulled the Doctor to her feet as he teased " I have a better idea kitty, how about you forget the health monitor and come with us, that way you get dinner and can keep an eye on him yourself."

Crystal just grinned and bopped Toby on the nose as she responded with playful seriousness in her voice " I think both would be better big bear, Doctors orders."

They where both giggling when Dana appeared in the door with her boy on his leash, the mink smiling softly as she inquired "Guess that means where all set for our outing?"

The doctor pulled from Toby's hug and nodded, waving them both over with a gentle purr as she spoke " Almost grease monkey, nova would you please come stand in front of me for a moment?"

The boy glanced up to his owner as if to ask If he was allowed to obey, the mink releasing his leash all the permission he needed. Very slowly he walked over to the feline and crossed his arms behind his back as if he was shackled, his head lowered respectfully as he softly whispered " yes, Mistress."

Once the boy was standing In front of her Crystal slowly picked up the injector and monitoring device, the feline very careful not to startle nova as she explained what she was about to do " Sweet boy I know you are hurting a lot and I have prepared some medicine for you that will take away your pain for a wile so you can go out. But wile you are out I wish for you to ware this device behind your ear, it will watch your insides and tell me if you start to hurt again, do you understand?"

Nova just nodded and dropped to his knees, his head tilted back to expose his neck as he pulled his shoulder length hair out of the way to allow her access to his right ear " yes, Mistress."

After the Doctor synced up the monitor with her scanner and gave the boy his injection they set off to the galley, Crystal leading the way and the big bear fallowing behind with Dana and her boy in the middle. The group had to walk a little slower then normal, nova trying his best, but the boy just not able to keep pace with there normal stride. The halls seamed very busy today, crew members moving back and forth and as they passed most of them politely greeted the group, oddly some of them even greeting nova by name and telling him to get better soon. The boy just smiled and shyly returned each of there greetings, it seaming very odd that the crew should know who he was given that his contact with them had been very limited. As odd as that was the last one before they reached the lift really knocked nova for a loop, a very young wolf pup walking with her mother seamed to stair at him for a moment then tugged on her parents uniform, pointing at the slave as she asked in a confused tone "Mommy what kind of fur is that?"

The tall and lean timber wolf distractedly looked to where her child was pointing then her muzzle broke into a soft smile as she answered with a chuckle "O my silly pup that's not a fur, he is a human, Remember I told you about him, Mr. Toby's helper and the new cub sitter, you know the one that made those yummy breakfast treats you liked so much?"

As soon as her mother said treats the pups eyes lit up, her tail wagging happily as she waved to the dumbfounded slave and yipped " Hello Mr. Nova, I love your yummy treats."

He only got to say " Thank you " Before the lift doors closed, the boys eyes turning to the big bear in total confusion as he timidly asked "Master, I thought you did not want the crew to know a human was cooking for them?"

The big bear just grinned and traced a finger over the boys cheek, lifting his head to look into his eyes as he giggled "I also told you I would not be able to keep you secret for long, with all your wonderful cooking it was only a matter of time before everyone found out about you."

The boy just blushed all over as Dana curled her arms around him from behind, kissing the side of his neck as she teased " Yes, you are not only my little blessing, but a gift to our whole crew, I just hope one of the mothers doesn't try to steal you away."

The group was very marry as they stepped off the lift and approached the galley, laughing and joking the rest of the way there about how cute nova looked when he turned all red like that. As they entered a deep and joking voice met the boys ears, it rumbling "O would you two get a room, even for bunnies you are incorrigible." Inside the captains mess they found link shaking a finger at Jessica long ears, the tan bunny helmswomen and her black furred counter part, both bunnies snuggled up in each others arms and kissing. She broke the kiss and was just about to answer the bear when they both caught sight of the group and the boy with them, Jessica springing to her feet in a way only a bunny could. It was almost comical how link and Jessica both collided trying to give nova a hug at the same time, the pair only succeeding in knocking the boy over and falling on top of him.

They where not on the ground for more then a second when Crystal's scanner started emitting it's emergency tone, it telling her that the slaves pain levels had spiked beyond the preset acceptable levels. Quick as a flash Toby was pulling his mate off the boy as Dana did the same with Jessica, the mink not so softly bopping the cotton tail on the nose as she growled "Careful with my slave you silly rabbit, if you brake him again I will put you over my knee."

Jessica just smiled with her ears laying flat down the back of her head, one side of her muzzle turning up in a soft grin as she teased back "Promise?"

Dana was just about to respond in a not so friendly tone this time when Crystal hissed, a quick check of the scanner telling her that nova's pain levels had jumped more then 20% from being knocked around so hard. With a frown on her muzzle she looked at all of them, the look on her face one of a disapproving mother as she growled "our boy is in no shape for horseplay or fooling around, so both of you keep your paws off or a spanking will be the least of your problems, clear?"

The Doctor was just about to revoke her consent for this outing and take the slave back to med bay so he could rest when Dana helped him to his feet and lovingly brushed a paw over his cheek, the contact causing his readings to instantly drop back to a much more tolerable level. Even though the bear had whispered to her about the priestess's mental command the feline was still surprised at how well it worked, but then again she was never one to underestimate the power of the mind to heal itself, often with the most critically injured patients sheer will power made all the difference. With a grumble she relented and prepared another injection of pain suppresser just in case, if not she would just let Dana be the one to tend to him with her magic touch.

With his owners help the boy slowly made his way over to the couch and dropped to his knees, that little encounter putting him in to much pain to stand, Goddess he wished he knew why he hurt so much, what kind of accident could have left him this fragile? The group then settled into the lounging area, nova kneeling with his head on Dana's lap, Jessica and her mate snuggling back up and the bears exchanging a long lovers kiss. With Dana's hand brushing over her boys head and neck it was very little time before the group was laughing and joking again, link grinning up to his mate " you know if I keep catching you with your little helper I am going to get jealous, I know how the pretty young males turn your head."

Toby just grinned and ran a claw tip over the little bear's nose as he wiggled his eye brows and teased "wile I will admit nova is a pretty young male, as I have told you before my love you are the only one for me."

Nova just blushed all over again as Dana grinned and added with a mock tone of jealousy " Besides he is mine you dirty old bears, no trying to steal my slave away or I'll bite you." With the nature of Anthro relationships being so open she would not have necessarily objected to nova being intimate with the bears, but given how new he was to there way of life it was best not to overwhelm him with such thoughts. Besides given what he had been through with captain Carnes it might not be wise for him to be involved with a male any time soon, it could bring up feelings he was not prepared to deal with.

Toby just grinned back to the mink and stuck out his tongue, his tone soft and teasing as he replied " Well grease monkey if you are willing to let him come to dinner at our place soon I promise to return him the way we found him, more or less."

The whole group just started laughing as Jessica indignantly pouted " Hay we where going to ask him to our place first you mean old bear, I want my lover to try his carrot cake." The bunny flicked her ears a few times and let one flop to the side as she grinned, the expression meant to say that was not the only carrot she wanted to share with her girlfriend.

At hearing the bunnies desire for one of his confections nova could feel his need to serve kicking in, the boy looking up as he softly whispered "If you wish I can make it for you now Mistress, it will only take a few minutes."

As the slave tried to rise Dana just tightened her grip on his leash to prevent him from moving, the mink gently pulling his head back to her lap as she simply stated " O no you don't my boy, you are taking the rest of the day off, doctors orders."

The old jaguar just shot Jessica another disapproving look as she spoke with a tone that would brooch no disobedience " Truer words where never spoken, the cotton tails can satisfy there apatite's some other way, you be good and rest or I will confine you to Med bay."

The boy just lowered his eyes and nodded, a small shiver running through him at the pure dominance of the felines order and from his owners tail possessively curling around his chest at the same time, the boy timidly whispering " yes, Mistress, I will obey." Nova just melted when his Mistress's long bushy tail curled around him, that thick ocean of fur sending a shiver threw his cold body as Toby and link both excused themselves to make dinner for the group, the little bear giving an excited squeal when his lover whispered something in his ear.

It was not long after the bears departure that the laughing Captain and first officer arrived, Sasha bolting threw the door with the vixen fast on her heals, Kayla playfully and light heartedly growling " pinch my tail will you, I'll get you, you naughty kitty."

Desperate for cover the white tiger dove behind the couch Dana was sitting on and stuck her tongue out at the captain with a teasingly purred "now, now my love, I was only playing, can't you take a joke?"

The vixen just playfully growled and dropped a small gift-wrapped box on the table before jumping over the couch and pouncing her lover, tickling her tiger mercilessly as she dominantly growled "O I'll show you playing kitten."

The group just looked stunned at the twos actions, it having been years since they had been this playful in public, both of them as the two most powerful females on the ship always trying to keep there affection hidden from the crew in the name of professionalism. The lovers where still tickle fighting when Toby and his mate returned with the meals and a second gift wrapped box, link setting it on the table as Toby teased Kayla with a grin "Being assaulted for the second time today captain, would you like me to call for security?"

Kayla just looked up now that she had the tigers paws pinned to the deck, her mate held helpless as she grinned to the bear "I don't think that will be necessary big bear, if anyone is going to shackle my kitten and make her beg for mercy it will be me." Then she leaned down and pressed a long needful kiss to her lover's lips, Sasha only putting up a token effort to escape now.

As soon as the kiss broke Sasha murred up to her mate, her eyes half lidded and tail lashing softly as she teased back "Hay no fair, don't you even pretend for a second you forgot tonight is your turn for the shackles." The whole group broke out into deep laughter at hearing that, nova blushing beat red as Kayla released her mate and they found there seats among the group.

Toby and link set out the plates as everyone settled back into there respective groups, this time the bears taking there places next to Dana and her boy. Nova had been distractedly looking at the gift boxes left on the table when Toby sat a plate of food in front of him, both boxes looking almost the same as the one Dana had given him the other day, it leaving the boy to wonder if he was about to get more gifts, or where they for someone else? He was just considering asking about them when the smell of the food caught his nose, the boy looking at it, then up to the bear with a quizzical expression on his face, the boy not remembering teaching the bear how to make this.

Seeing the look on the slaves face Toby just chuckled and used a fork to hold some of the meal to the boys lips, the bear grinning playfully as he answered the slaves unasked question "Since you have been showing me so much about human food I thought you might like to try some of ours, this is called sourvena."

As soon as the slave teasted it he was sure, his lips braking in a soft chuckle after he swallowed "Amazing Master, this is very good Lasagna."

The big bear just laughed softly and set nova's fork back on his plate as he mused " humans call this Lasagna Huh? guess I will have to try harder to surprise you next time." Nova just blushed softly and picked at his food, he was hungry, but for some reason his tummy hurt and he felt sick when he started eating it. Being polite and thankful for his food he finished as much as he could, trying his best to hide his discomfort.

After the meal the group just relaxed for a wile, nova noticing most of them conspiratorially whispering to each other, each of them looking at him with an evil grin being passed around that made the boy more then a little nervous. Wile he was not afraid they where going to hurt him there was just something that told him there was a plan in motion, something important given there wide toothy grins, soft chuckles and mischievous looks. He was thinking about respectfully asking what was going on when the priestess arrived, the unicorn greeting the group brightly and looking much more refreshed after her shower and nap. Seeing the happiness in the room she feared that perhaps she had missed the fun, the mare softly asking as she took the only seat left in the room " I hope I did not miss it, am I to late?"

Kayla just shook her head and smiled " Not at all dear mother, in fact we have been weighting for you so you could act as our witness."

Eshara just smiled and clapped her paws together as she grinned down to the now thoroughly confused slave" o yes, how silly of me, it would be my honor to witness this joyful event."
