"Ready m dragon quickly!" yelled Lord Harthgar.

"Sir, the warriors are awaiting you outside the main gate," reported Peter, the lords' loyal servant, "do you want them to wait for you or attack the invaders?"

"Have them attack if the griffins get within a mile of the castle," the lord answered, "now go and tell the warriors."

"My lord your dragon is ready and awaits you outside," reported Cory, the lords' special dragon expert.

"Good then, now go feed the other dragons and have them and the rest of the warriors here ready in case we can't stop the entire enemy," the lord reported as he went out of the room. His dragon was roaring with excitement. Its golden armor shaking with each roar as the thunder roared at the same time. "Are you ready to go into battle with your friends Siberia?" asked Harthgar. Siberia let out a roar to confirm his answer. As soon as Harthgar was on Siberia, he jolted into the air to the main gates.

"My lord, what type of strategy should we use on these griffins?" asked Mark, the lords' right hand man, as he slung his mace over his shoulder.

"Let's have the midnight squad go out and attack from behind the griffins while we attack head on," answered Harthgar. Since the storm made it look like night time, the midnight squad was the best to use since their dragons and armor was as black as night and they flew on silent wings although there was only five it mattered not. As soon as the midnight squad left the lord, he had the rest of them approach the enemy. As soon as they here within view of the enemy the lord yelled, "Attack!" they could already hear the squawking of the griffins as they approached. The winged lion horse had no armor and was stupid to go into battle with no camouflage. They both charged at each other with tremendous speed. Harthgar could see the squad he sent a head awaiting his signal to take the heads off the vial creatures that weren't met for this planet. Harthgar raised his hand with only his index finger held up to his throat and acting as if it was a dagger and slide it across his throat. The midnight squad knew exactly what to do, so they each choose a griffin and in an instant twisted their necks with a silent crack of bones. It took only half an hour to finish off the griffins army, so it wasn't much of a victory for their clan since the dragon and griffin war has been going on for thousands of years. "Let us head back to the castle so that we may have a feast!"

"Yeah!" the warriors and dragons roared with excitement since a feast was where everyone could do what every they wanted for three days as long as there were no other enemies to bother them. The warriors and their dragons went to the front gate and stopped for their king sat there on his dragon looking down.

"What is wrong my lord?" asked Mark.

"If you were as smart as you dragon you would know that there is an elf inside the castle," Harthgar snapped since Mark was trained special in hunting anything. Harthgar entered, sitting straight up in the saddle, as they opened the main gates to let the warriors in.

"Sorry Lord Harthgar for entering without your permission, but there are over grown beast that are starting to invade our forest and we don't know what they're there for," the elf explained calmly. His black hair swayed as a breeze went by showing his pointed ears, his eyes were like that of a wolfs, narrow and yellowish almost golden, and he had a velvet shirt and pants the color of dark brown. "Sorry for the rudeness, for my name is Aurora."

"We shall discuss what to do tomorrow for I have already told my warriors that there was to be a feast," the lord explained.

"I understand Lord Harthgar," the elf responded, "but once we decide what we are to do we must make hast for I fear for my people." The storm had passed on before the sun had even got to midday and the feast had begun. There were people and dragons throughout the kingdom. There were certain dragons that were for the children to ride on just to see what it would be like to ride on the dragons once they were eight years old. Some of the dragons had fights for fun and some fought to entertain the little kids who waited on the dragon rides. There was storytelling, reenactments of the battle with masks and wooden weapons, and as soon as the sun was starting to set they shot off rockets signaling the food was ready,

There was chicken, shrimp, burgers, spaghetti, salad, corn bread, and more, there was even an area for the dragons to feast. At the end of the day the lord had two of his guards go out to get the elf and instruct everyone to return home, get some rest and they could continue tomorrow. They found the elf, and brought him to the lord within half an hour where he waited outside the keep.

"Follow me to where we can discuss the matter of the beasts that disturb your people without being bothered," Lord Harthgar instructed as he lead through an underground chamber. The chamber was big enough for a dragon and its young one. They traveled for an hour through the tunnel. They arrived at two doors that looked like the walls in the tunnel to fool any unwanted guest. "Hise are," Harthgar said breaking the silence. They entered the room where there was a marble table, chairs, and statues around the middle. Siberia raised his head as if to ask what then rose to stretch out his long body as he let out a low roar, then positioned himself next to the table awaiting his master. They walked over to the table and took a seat. "So, have you any idea why these creatures are invading your land for any reason at all?" questioned Harthgar.

"There is no reason at all that I can think of, unless it's for power," responded Aurora looking down at the stone floor.

"Do you have any idea upon where they come from or better yet, what they look like?"

"The elder of our village said that they looked like werewolves with dragon spikes, they wore armor bearing a symbol of a cats' eye with a sword where the slit would be. They rode on raptor like creatures, but they had horns on their heads, a spiked tail, and also were dressed in armor," responded Aurora.

"I've heard of beasts that stood on their back legs and normally kill whatever gets in their way, but that was fifteen years ago," Harthgar said looking at Siberia, "have you ever heard of anything like what he or I have said?"

"I heard of it when I was a young one about a hundred years ago and no more of it since," Siberia responded in a low tone through his mind.

"Are they dangerous or do you have any clue to what they can do?" asked Harthgar.

"They don't like to fight unless they have to and they are deadly," answered Siberia, "but I do know what they are called for I seen one of its so called steeds which you call a raptor. They are called Cereous and the werewolf like creature is called Raquaza. The cereous are as fast on land like a dragon in the air, while the raquaza are able to run, swim, and jump better than any other animal or creature around."

"Okay, go out and rally the warriors and their dragons that haven't fought yet and we'll go and aid the elves in their crisis," ordered Harthgar, "and after that, have them meet us at the main gate."

"Yes sir," Siberia said and loyally did as he was told. Harthgar and Aurora waited for the troops and Siberia. They didn't have to wait more than five minutes and all the troops were at the gates awaiting commands quietly so they didn't disturb the children who slept for all the adults were awake from Siberia or a troop waking them, telling them what was happening and they would be back within three weeks hopefully.

"Let us fly most of the way there and once we're a mile away we'll travel on ground so these raquaza don't see us," informed Harthgar as he and Aurora climbed into Siberia's saddle, "now lets' get whatever food and water we can carry on our dragons," The warriors got in a line to get two sacks, filled one with half of a pig and a deer's carcass for the dragon. For the other bag they filled it with dried meat, bread, herbs, apples, and other fruits. Then they got three wineskins and filled them with water while their dragons drank. "Now that everyone has what is needed let's head out," commanded Harthgar.
