"Lord Caim, there's an elf and her body guards at our gate. Shall I let them in?" asked Norm. Unlike the warriors, he looked like all the other peasants around the land of Onia. He had hair as black as a starless night. He wore blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and carried a sword on his left side.

"Raiden, send a message to Legna, Nowe, and their riders having them meet us at the entrance to meet our guest," ordered Caim. Caim was a Shruikan, meaning his face looked like an animal mask. His mask was a white wolf. His golden dragon, Raiden, was a rare beast in the hometown Okami. He had yellow hair, straight white horns, golden whiskers, and piercing sky blue eyes.

"Yes master, I'll do so while you get ready," responded Raiden. While Caim walked into the next room to get ready, Raiden sent a message through his mind to his comrades, "Legna, Nowe, tell your masters to meet Caim and I at the gates entrance. There are guest we need to attend to."

"We'll be there as soon as possible," replied Nowe and Legna in unison.

"Norm, ready me for flight," Raiden commanded.

"Yes, my lords' dragon," Norm replied as he quickly headed back to get the saddle in the back of the room. The saddle was rosy red and very heavy. It was on a saddle rack with wheels, so Norm easily rolled the saddle rack over to Raiden. Raiden picked the saddle up like it was no heavier than a feather. He sat on his two hind legs while he put the saddle on like it was a button up shirt. Once the saddle was on he lowered himself back on to all four legs so Norm could buckle the saddle's underside.

Caim came back out in with a red long sleeve shirt and tan vest on. He wore buckskin colored boots and a sheathed green sword. The handle of the sword was a pair of dragon tails twisting around each other in silver. The dragon heads hung over the sides of the blade. "Did you notify the other warriors of our guest?" Caim asked.

"Yes, master. They said they'd meet us as soon as possible," answered Raiden.

"Alright then, Norm, ready the meeting room for all of us. I do not want to upset our elven friends," Caim ordered.

"Yes, lord Caim," replied Norm.

"Are you ready to ride me as your beast form master?" asked Raiden.

"Yes," answer Caim. As he transformed into his werewolf form, his hair became short and spiky, his red shirt merged into his body revealing his abs and chest. His shoes merged into his body revealing giant feet with fur and claws, and he grew a long tail. Ehen he was finished he was a foot taller, had brown spiky hair, the vest, jeans, a tail, his sword, and the body of a werewolf.

"Climb aboard master," Raiden ordered as he lowered himself into a lay position for Caim to climb onto his saddle. He climbed quickly onto Raiden's back with ease and put his big wolf feet into the saddle's foot holders.

"Okay, let's go Raiden and also send out a message to the others to see if there ready to take off or if they're at the door," Caim ordered.

"Yes master," Raiden replied. He sent out the message to the other two dragons as Caim had requested.

"Legna, Nowe, are you ready to take off or at the door?" Raiden asked.

"I'm just about to take off to the entrance, Raiden," answered Nowe.

"I'm about to the entrance, Raiden." answered Legna.

As Raiden Took off he declared, "Nowe is about to take off while Legna is almost to the entrance, my master." Caim remained silent. As they sped toward the entrance, the people looked up at Raiden, his golden scales reflecting the last bits of the sun's rays as it slowly went down. He looked like a golden arrow flying through the air. The children who had finished their chores chased after Raiden for fun, just to see who could keep up the longest.

"My lord, whose so important that we all must abandon what we were doing to all gather at the entrance?" asked Inuart. He rode on Nowe, a red dragon with whiskers, golden eyes, straight silver horns, and bright red hair. Inuart was in his beast form. He wore nothing but his blue jeans and had his red dragon sword in its sheath on his right side. His beast form was a yellow lion with a golden mane and blood red eyes. His tail curled as he talked which showed he was nervous but angry.

"To my knowledge, our guest is an elf and her bodyguards," responded Caim. "You know that the elves consider it disrespectful if we don't meet them. We are the few here at Okami that are warriors with both a beast form and a dragon. Also, we need to be sure to talk in the meeting hall and not outside in public."

"Are we going to let them ride on our dragons or do they have their own rides?" asked Inuart as his dragon tensed his leg muscles showing he hated the thought of another riding him.

"I they don't have their own steeds, then we'll let them ride our dragons," answered Caim. "The only other choice would be them having to their own rides or see if they want to ride a royal wolf. They slowly descended to the ground. Once the dragons had their hind legs on the ground they dropped the rest of their body to the ground with a loud thump.

Legna was waiting patiently at the gate while Urick turned to look at them as if to ask what took you so long. Urick was in his beast form which was or that is a tan colored bull with a short brown man. He wore blue jeans and a sheathed black dragon sword on his right side. He was sitting on Legna's back. He was a blue dragon with turquoise colored hair, straight gray horns, and whiskers.

"Shall I open the gate my lord?" asked a small watchman. He wore a pair of blue jeans and a long sleeved black shirt. He carried a bow over his left shoulder, a quiver full of arrows on his left hip, and a short sword on his right hip. His hair, beard, and mustache were black.

"Open the gate so we may greet our guest properly," replied Caim. As two watchmen turned the pegged wheel slowly and steadily it creaked. Once the gate was fully open one of the watchmen slipped a big, square piece of wood in between two pegs to hold the door up.

"Hello, my elven friend and her bodyguards. I know you wouldn't come without sending a notice unless there was trouble brewing in your lands," assumed Caim. "Do you have your own steeds or would you like to ride our dragons or giant wolves?"

She gestured to her left and stated, "Kira rode on a giant ice wolf. Leo and I ran beside the wolf so no one would get left behind. We ran as fast as lightning during dusk to dawn and rested while the sun was up. It is up to you for what we ride."

"Kira was a werebear from the heavily forested area. He wore a white bottom half of a robe with a white belt. He was heavily muscled and had no weapons or shoes. His fur was golden brown and his wyes were hazel. The giant ice wolf had western style reins without the bit piece and a western style saddle. Both were a reddish brown color. Under the saddle was a white cloth an inch thick to prevent both back pain and the saddle from pinching.

Leo was a white tiger man with piercing ice blue cat eyes. He wore a vest with a cape back that was blue like the sea. He had light blue jeans and two dark blue belts. He also had no shoes or weapons on his body. The elven female had blond hair, pointy ears, and the eyes of a wolf. She wore a pair of green pants, a brown t-shirt, and a pair of deerskin moccasins. She had a sword in a black sheath on her right hip, a bow on her left shoulder, and a quiver full of stone head arrows around on her back.

"I'll let you ride on the giant wolves for our dragons are picky about who rides on them, if it's okay with you, my lady," suggested Caim.

"That will be fine. Do you have any wolves that are dressed in royal clothing?" questioned the elf. "If you don't, that is okay."

"If we don't we have the royal clothes on them, the stable master can quickly dress them," responded Caim. He noticed a hint of suspicion in the elves last sentence, as if the real question that if you don't that's disrespectful. The town of Okami is required to have five royal wolves for people they didn't want to disrespect or offend. "Mark, do you have any royal wolves dressed? If not, get me two ready and bring them here."

"Yes my lord. I'll be done as quickly as lightning," replied Mark. Mark was the stable master and a warrior. His beast form was a gray wolf. His hair was tan gray, for he was about forty-years-old. He wore blue jeans and a sleeveless white shirt. Both his arms had claw and bite scares.

"Sorry, I'm being rude for my name is Furiae," stated the elf as she started to blush. She was thought to always introduce yourself before getting to business.

"Here's the two youngest, strongest, and fastest wolves that are here," declared Mark as he brought out the wolves. They had golden robes going down from their necks to their back legs. There was a small hole just big enough for their tail to slip through in the back. There was a red velvet line going along the bottom of the clot. Their saddles and reins were rosy red.

"We will be honored to let you ride upon us to lord Caim's home," declared the wolves in unison.

"You may choose the steed you want to ride on and I will leave," Mark stated. Mark muttered something to the wolves before Furiae and Leo were in front of the wolf of their choice. Furiae stood in front of the wolf on Mark's right and Leo to Mark's left.

"I'm John, I'll get you where you need to go as safe as possible," stated John to Furiae.

"My name's Corey. I'll defend you to make sure you get to your destination," Corey stated to Leo. Once they both mounted their steed Mark left and Kira joined Furiae and Leo.

"Follow us to my home," ordered Caim as he turned Raiden around. Legna and Nowe followed him remaining on either side of Furiae and her guards as they rode in silence. They walked down the main streets in Okami for all to see as they pleased. The town was a roar of whispers about the guest. "You may bring the steeds in if you want or," Caim pointed to a giant stable big enough to fit six dragons and twenty giant wolves, "put them in the stables."

We'll put your wolves in the stables, but keep the wolf Kira rides on with us," Furiae stated as she and Leo dismounted. They led the wolves into the stables and came back out.

"Let's continue to the meeting hall," Caim ordered as Raiden started to walk to the two doors. Both doors were made out of oak and carved into the right door was the first Onia and in the left door his golden dragon. There were two sets of door knobs at different heights. One was high enough for a man to reach, but the other was only reachable if you were the size of a dragon.

Raiden lowered himself so that Caim could easily slide down his shoulder to get off. Raiden sat up on his hind legs and stood to get to the door knobs. They both turned the door knobs in unison and Raiden pushed the doors open. These doors won't open from the outside under any kind of force unless the door knobs are turned in unison and will not turn without the other.

"Please come into the meeting hall. I'll have my chef make us a meal big enough for eight dragons to eat," said Caim as he and his dragon bowed. The meeting hall was as long as two acres and one acre wide. The table was separated into two sections parallel to each other. There were three candles sitting in a chandelier. Each candle was wide enough for a man six foot tall to lay on. The wick of the candle was as round as the leg of a man. The walls were made of white stone and the floor was made of turquoise marble.

Carved into the walls were all the races and beasts in the land of Onia. There were mammals, reptiles, fish, and bugs of all types and sizes. It had every animal from alligators to zebras and every race from the bear-man clan to the zebra-man tribe.

The dragons and the giant wolf sat on one side of the table and their owners and guest on the other side. The only two that sat on either end was Caim and Furiae. A short stubby man came out with a white apron, a white long sleeved shirt, and black pants. He had a pocket size notebook in his right hand and a pen in his left.

"What will you have to eat my lord?" asked the stubby man.

"I'll have a deer rib, turkey leg, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a roll Matt," answered Caim. Matt went around to each of the people and beasts in the room. The men asked for meat, vegetables or fruits, and a piece of bread. The dragons and wolf asked for nothing but meat and berries. The elf asked for fruits, vegetables, and bread. The men and elf asked for a glass of wine and the beasts asked for a barrel of wine.

"I'll cook it as quickly and skillfully as possible," stated Matt as he walked quickly to the kitchen door which, blended into the wall design.

"So, what are you here for Furiae, Leo, and Kira," asked Caim.

"There are monsters attacking near our lands and were on their way to the fox-men tribe. Soon they'll attack my family's village and then they'll attack here," answered Furiae.

"They have attacked my family's clan, murdering anyone who stood against them," explained Kira.

"They never said why they were there. The only thing they did was attack my family and me. They killed my Matte and left me for dead," Leo mumbled as to look into the past as it was happening.

"What do these demons with no reason for killing look like?" questioned Raiden as he peered at each of them as if looking into their souls.

"They rode on raptors in the form of a horse," answered Kira. "They had green claws, buckskin colored fur, and horns like your dragons. Their teeth hung over their bottom jaw, purple eyes, and a brown horse saddle."

"The riders," Leo continued for Kira, "were like human dragons. They had scales, tails, claws, and horns, but instead of whiskers they had a head fin and black claws. Their teeth overlapped both jaws, there were spikes going along their jawbone. They wore a red vest and a pair of blood red shorts with a tan bag at either side. They came in all colors and their bellies a lighter color with dark red eyes."

"Do any of you have an idea of what they may be called or what they call themselves?" asked Caim. Furiae, Leo, and Kira shook their heads no. Caim looked at the dragons as if to ask the same question and they, too, shook their heads.

"They basically look like dragons, but with the body of a human, and their steeds look like raptors in a horse form," restated Raiden.

"Yeah, so what's your point, dragon?" asked Kira with a little bit of a growl in his voice. Caim stared fiercely at Kira for calling his family member 'dragon' and not by his name. This showed that Kira had no respect for the mighty dragon of Onia, who are known for saving the races from killing each other meaninglessly.

"My name's not dragon, it's Raiden," he growled, "and if a werebeast doesn't think to look upon the walls it's not my fault. So, please Kira, observe now and tell me what you see is upon our walls."

Kira sat there quietly as if he was a leopard stalking an alarmed zebra. He clenched his fists a few times and finally after staring angrily at Raiden, he relaxed and closed his eyes.

"I'm sorry Raiden," he mumbled and then opened his eyes. "I meant no disrespect to you or your dragon kind. I'm not yet use to calling a beast of the land by their name since my kind never considered beasts as family. The only animals we had were the ones we rode and called them a nickname close to their species name. In my home you, Raiden, would probably be called draken."

"That's fine, but remember, if you know the beasts' name, they can come to your rescue if they hear you," explained Raiden. "Your wolf can be of help to you as long as you bond with him. He'll kill the person who is trying to harm another person if you tell him to by name. Our basic instinct is to protect your family and friends."

"Okay, I get the idea," declared Kira. "Will you please tell us why it's so important to know what these creatures look like in the most basic of form, Raiden?"

"My idea is that we find the creatures on the wall, see if any of the rest of us know what they are, and if not look them up," explained Raiden. "If they were alive during the time of beginning, they'll be on the walls. If not, they'll be in a book somewhere if they were around between the time of beginning to about ten thousand years ago. If they're not in the books they're a new creature or one who has been rarely seen and there's little knowledge of them."

"Here are the meals, my lord," declared Mattt the chef as he rolled out three tables with wheels. As fast as a twister he put all of the food in front of everyone, each getting four plates big enough to fit a medium sized dog on. For the dragons they got the entire body of each animal they choose. "I'll be back with the wine," stated Mattt and then asked, "Raiden, would you mind to help me with the barrels?"

"Of course not," Raiden answered as he got up and followed Mattt to the kitchen. They were gone for five minutes when Matt came out with another cart. He quickly put a wine glass at each person's seat, and then got four bottles of wine out. Raiden suddenly came out with three barrels of wine tied down around his saddle. One in front of his saddle, one on the saddle, and one behind the saddle. Two barrels for each arm, one inside the circle of his tail made, and another in his mouth.

"Give everyone, except the wolf, three barrels Raiden," ordered Matt as he filled the last glass. "I'll get the wolf his barrel and a bowl to drink from." As Matt scurried into the kitchen, Raiden did as Matt told him. He put the one in his mouth and the two under his right arm down at his seat. Then gave Legna the two under his left arm and the one his tail was curled around. Last, he went to Nowe and sat down with his back turned showing the barrels to Nowe.

"Nowe, you'll have to untie the barrels from my back. While you do, I'll hold them with my tail," Raiden ordered. Nowe quickly unloaded his barrels using both of his clawed hands and tail.

"Raiden, do you care to get this last barrel for me," Matt breathlessly said while he pushed the barrel with his back to it. In his right hand was a bowl the size of the plates and six inches high for the wolf. The bowl had little fairies dancing happily in graved on the outside.

"Here," Raiden joked hiding a snicker since the chef is out of breath already. He picked the barrel up with ease with a giant grin across his face showing his front teeth barely.

"Oh, stop your grinning you over grown lizard with wings," grinned Matt as he joked quietly so no one except Caim and the beasts could hear.

"Okay pork chop," smiled Raiden as he took his claw, poked the lid, and took it off.

The chef walked over to the barrel, dipped the bowl, filled it, put it on the table for the wolf, and declared, "There you go sir." Then he walked over to Caim and asked, "Will there be anything else my lord?"

"Not for right now Matt If I need something, I'll send Raiden for you," replied Caim. They all ate and drank quietly except for the dragons and wolf. The dragons and wolf ate and drank neatly but they couldn't help it when they chewed since their mouths were opened.

Once Legna was finished he started to examine the walls carefully. Nowe soon joined him on the opposite wall and Raiden started on the wall with the door entrance. The giant wolf decided to help too. He stood on his hind legs using the wall as a balance expecting to be hit for it since he was trained not to put his paws on the wall, but nothing happened, so he started his search.

They stood there like statues for half-and-hour while everyone else ate. Once they were finished Furiae, Leo, and Kira talked about their home land and how they all met. One by one the wolf and dragons left the walls to go back and sit in their seats.

"So, did you find a picture of the creatures?" asked Caim as he stared blankly into space.

"No, there are no creatures other than dragons and horse families," explained Nowe. Caim remained silent while he was thinking.

"Raiden, go and get Chrissie. Tell her we are in need of her services, if she is to ask why, tell her it can't be spoken of in public," Caim ordered.

"Yes, master," replied Raiden as he walked to the door, turned the knobs, and breathed a small stream of fire through the hole where there was a dragon's mouth. The door made a clicking sound and Raiden pulled the doors open, allowing the night sky to enter the room. As soon as Raiden was outside, he doors shut, and the darkness outside left the meeting hall.

"How is the queen and king Furiae?" asked Caim curiously since it's been five years since they last met.

"They are well, but very stressed with the other clans coming for shelter," explained Furiae. "Soon the fox-man tribe will be coming to my home land and there's really no room for them, even though it's only women and children." Sadness appeared on Furiae's face as she looked at her plate.

"Why will there only be women and children?" asked Leo with a puzzled face. "What about the men or like some races, the man?"

"The fox-men who are of eighteen-years-old or older shall fight to the death. This ensures that the future generation will live on," Kira answered since Furiae remained silent.

"I'm back with Chrissie, as you asked master," Raiden declared busting in on the conversation. Chrissie wore a white t-shirt with a denim, long sleeve, button up shirt, and dark blue jeans. She had golden blond hair and bright green eyes. Even though she was young she knew a lot. She knew as a much as a person who was sixty and not twenty years old.

"We need all the books on the animals and tribes of the land. All the way from the first race born to the last race born," answered Caim. "If you leave, you mustn't speak a word of what is said here."

"I promise. Anything said here will go with me to my grave unless I'm given permission by you, lord Caim," stated Chrissie. Caim told Chrissie what was happening.

"So, can you get me what I need Chrissie?" questioned Caim.

"I'll be in need of help getting all the stuff I need before morning," she answered.

"Everyone here can help you get the books," responded Caim. Everyone mounted their steeds while Chrissie rode on Raiden, Leo rode on Legna, and Furiae rode on Nowe. Then they headed quickly to the library. Once there, Chrissie gave everyone the names of the books needed, where they were at, and the color of the book. It took them two hours to get the books into a stack, so they started getting giant bags big enough to fit three full grown men into.

The dragons held the bags open so they could put the books in them. It didn't take long for them to get the books in the bags since they didn't care if they damaged the books. Their theory was that a book could be replaced but a life could never be replaced. It took half-an-hour to toss the books into the bags.

"Okay, now let's get out of here before the sun comes up," ordered Caim. They all got on the same steeds they came sown on. The dragons each grabbed a bag of books. Once they got into the meeting hall the sun was just coming over the horizon. There were seven thousand books to look through so each person made their own pile of a thousand. If someone got done early they would help someone who wasn't finished. Te books with no information were tossed back on to the bags and the ones with information sat on the person's side. Half-an-hour later there came a knocking at the kitchen door, and then someone asked, "Lord Caim may I come in?" It was Matt, he was checking to see if Caim was home for breakfast.

"You may enter Matt," Caim answered.

"What would you like to eat?" Matt asked.

" Is it okay if we have fried eggs, biscuits, bacon, banana's , berries, and cherries with everyone?" asked Caim. Everyone except the beasts answered yes.

"We will have roast pig and deer Matt," Raiden responded.

"Okay, I'll be back in a little bit with everything," stated Matt and with that everyone went back to the book they were on. Matt came back an hour later and set the table. Everyone ate quickly and continued to search the books. In the end there were four books left.

"Wow, that's not much," stated Legna. "Why don't you guys get some sleep and we'll tell you if we found anything in a few hours."

"Good idea," said Caim as stretched. Everyone followed him to the rooms to rest. Once the dragons were through they decided to get some rest, too. After an hour of rest they woke up the others and waited for them to come into the meeting room.

"Okay, what have you found out about the creatures?" asked Inuart.

"They are humans injected with the genes of dragons," Nowe started to say. "While the humans were babies, they took blood of dragons and injected the blood into the humans. As time passed, the children continued to look more and more like dragon creatures."

"There raptors are basically the same, but they took raptor bone marrow and injected it into horses as soon as they were born," Legna continued for Nowe.

"Is there any way to kill them or challenge them to a fight on our lands?" asked Urick.

"Yes, as a mattter of fact there is," answered Raiden. "There's a small problem of how to kill them. Only a dragon can kill these creatures as far as we know by taking off their head. These creatures call themselves Ferai and their steeds Beltor. They have no intention of killing for reason except for food. Thing is they usually hunt once every month for a deer sized animal or at least that's what the book say's."

"So you basically have to cut their head off?" asked Leo amused.

"Yes and we can bring them here. All we have to do is send a message the next tribe about to be attacked and have them tell the Ferai that we challenge them. Their way of the land is by having a leader. Whatever the leader says goes and it sounds as if this one prefers to fight a dragon or something about the same strength. Problem for them is there's hardly anyone that strong."

"Okay. What's the next tribe along the path of the Ferai?" asked Caim.

"The foxmen tribe is next in line and we have two days before they attack them if they're not having their Beltors run," responded Furiae.

"Alright, Raiden find Chester so we can tie a note on his leg to sent him to the foxmen tribe," ordered Caim. Chester was a hawk who could fly twist as fast as a dragon. Using his mind, he found Chester already circling their house.

"Chester we are in need of your services," Raiden declared and then asked, "Can you send a message?"

"Of course, my friend," answered Chester and with that Chester appeared through the kitchen door with a boom. "What am I delivering and to where?"

"You're to deliver this paper to the foxmen tribe," explained Caim. "Tell them to give it to the creatures that look like dragons that ride on raptors in the form of a horse. They are to act weak as possible and act like the people in this paper are stronger than dragons."

"Okay, my lord," obeyed Chester as he bowed his head. "I'll need to see a map of their location my lord."

"Over there's a map and Furiae can point out the people along your way to the foxmen," Caim stated as he pointed to the table that had a scroll on it. Furiae pointed out every races position as Chester watched her every move on the map.

"Okay, tie the paper to my leg and I'll get there in two hours," ordered Chester confidently. Caim did as he ordered, walked over to the kitchen door and opened it for Chester to leave.

There came a knock on the kitchen door and Matt asked, "Sir, you here?"

"Yes Matt, please come in," answered Caim.

"My lord what would you and your guest like for lunch?" Matt asked.

"I'll allow you to surprise us with the meal," Caim answered.

"But my lord, you know how I get carried away when I'm allowed to choose," Matt pleaded shaking with excitement.

"Then what's left will be a good snack," joked Raiden. Matt grinned and left the hall as fast as the hawk did. "That'll keep him there for two hours."

"Good, then that means we'll have two more hours left to wait on that bird, Chester," stated Kira. They sat on the floor and told stories from their races past. Most were tall tales about how everything was made. No one said anything bad about the others story unless they were joking.

"Here you go everyone!" exclaimed Matt as he pulled in two rows of five tables. "I've got two more rows of five in the kitchen. You all may take what you want off the tables since I'll be leaving them here for you." He headed back to the kitchen and rolled out the other two rows of tables and then left. The tables had everything from bananas to wine on them. While they were eating Chester came back.

"So, did they decide to go along with our idea?" asked Caim.

"Yes sir," responded Chester. "They will act like a new born calf when the creatures get there. They said their scout predicted they be there within a few hours."

"So, that means we'll have around five hours of sleep. Chester, keep an eye out," ordered Caim. "When you see these creatures them to fire a red light into the sky."

"Okay sir," replied Chester, and then asked "Would you like me to wake you when they are coming?"

"Please do. That way we can ready ourselves for battle. Also, sound the alarms when you see them," answered Caim. With that Chester took off to do his duties. Everyone headed off to the rooms except the dragons and wolf. They curled up together and fell asleep.

"They're coming! They're coming!" exclaimed Chester as he circled the meeting hall and once he was sure they were up he headed to wake the others up. The others came bursting through the kitchen door after Chester and stopped.

"Raiden, Legna, and Nowe, go get dressed so we can go fight," ordered Caim. "We'll stay here, eat a quick breakfast and join you in the stables. Also take the wolf so he can eat." Raiden opened the doors using the fire trick and once open the dragons bolted out. The sun was just starting to rise outside.

They ate the fruits for breakfast since it was the only thing that would be good after sitting out all night. They filled their bellies and headed down to the stables. Once they got there they saw three deer dead, nine dead rabbits, Legna and Nowe in their silver armor, but Raiden was half way through. He had on his breast plate with the saddle built in and helm on. Once Raiden finished getting his armor on, each dragon got a deer, and devoured it whole while the wolf ate each rabbit in two bites. Once they were done, they laid on their bellies so their riders could easily get on.

"Furiae, Leo, and Kira, I want you to patrol the streets to make sure no one is outside their house," ordered Caim as he sat on Raidens' armor.

"Okay, lord Caim," they responded in unison as they headed to their steeds. They left together, the wolves running and the dragons flying. The dragons flew over the gate entrance and headed to see if their leader will talk about the agreement of battle was the plan and everyone knew of it. As they landed they caught sight of the Ferai and Beltors as they walked slowly and stopped an acre away from Caim and his warriors. Caim and Raiden approached the creatures alone. A Beltor with a blue colored Ferai did the same thing. They met in the middle to discuss their terms of war.

"Would you like to agree to our ways of war, sir?" asked Caim.

"I will only if I get to add one of my terms," the creature answered, his voice as deep as a dragons but there was no dragon accent.

"Okay," agreed Caim, "our terms of war are that when the groups' leader is killed, the others must surrender. If I kill you, your group must go back to those they've terrorized and help them rebuild their lives back to normal."

"If I kill you," the creature declared, "we get all of your dragons, no matter what the age."

"Agreed then," Caim stated. "Now go to your group, as will I, and tell them the terms we agreed upon."

"How will we know when to start?" asked the creature.

"Raiden make a circle, filled with dirt," ordered Caim. Raiden did as Caim ordered. Caim gathered some of the dead grass around them, put it in the center of the circle, and ordered, "Raiden make a flame to last about ten minutes on the grass." He did as he was told and Caim declared, "When this flame dies, we will begin." The creature bowed his head and they both went back to their groups.

"So, what's the decision?" asked Urick.

"They agreed," answered Caim, "but if I die then they get every egg and dragon we have." Everyone remained silent but bowed their heads to the agreement. The only sounds were the dragons' scales rubbing metal and the squalls of the beltor high pitched raptor voice.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew out the small flame and Caim yelled, "Attack!" They were outnumbered but the plan was that Caim attack the leader and the others are held at bay. The two groups clashed. Raiden and the beltor slammed into each other as planned. The ferai started climbing Raiden's armor to get to Caim as Raiden and the beltor snapped, clawed, and circled, then charged each other.

Caim and the ferai fought tooth and claw, but when the two beasts charged each other again, they knocked their owners off. As Raiden took to the air to charge the beltor, Caim pulled out his dragon sword. Raiden rammed the beltor as Caim suddenly cut off the ferais' left arm which gave him an idea. Since his sword was made out of dragon fang and maybe he could cut the beasts head off. As the fight continued between the ferai and Caim, two beltors jumped Raiden. Suddenly, the ferai cut Caims arm which made him drop his sword, with a hidden dagger. While Caim was distracted with his wound, the ferai knocked him to the ground, and pinned Caim there with his own scaled body.

"Raiden!" yelled Caim as the ferai slowly lifted the dagger. Raiden took flight with the beltors on his armored tail. He whipped his tail to the left as hard as he could and the beltors slid off like water running over a smooth rock. He dived as the ferai held the dagger above Caim's chest, laughing at his pathetic state. Suddenly, the ferai howled out in pain as blood splattered Caims chest as a gust of wind and a giant golden arrow went by. Raiden had bit the ferais' arm off and knocked him to the ground with his tail.

While the ferai staggered to its feet Caim grabbed his sword, took a quick glance where the ferai was, shut his eyes and swung the sword. It was suddenly all quit. Caim opened his eyes to see a headless ferai in a pill of blood.

The warriors started to regroup with their own kind while a ferai and its beltor gathered the rider less beltors. The same one who rounded up the beltors came up and stood in front of Caim.

"Please take these beltors for a victory prize," said the ferai, its voice was very feminine. It looked almost the same as the other ferai except it had no spikes on its jaw and had blue eyes. "The leader was my Matte and my name is Tatelyn. We will go back and repair the lives we've ruined.

"I don't want your beltors but you can let a few people go home with you," Caim ordered. "It depends on if they have forgiven you for your deeds. For the beltors left give each clan, tribe, or village you have harmed two each. Give them a male and a female so they can breed them."

"You are very lucky, sir," stated Tatelyn. "You have a beast form and can fly on the back of a dragon. We are part dragon but have no wings and wish we could fly."

"If you promise never to attack another race without declaration of war, I think it might be possible to give you an egg," declared Caim. The ferai started to cry from the thought that she may be able to get here people even one dragon.

"You mean it, sir?" she asked with uncertainty.

"We actually have two eggs that won't hatch," answered Caim shrugging his shoulders. "We have taken them to every race in Onia. The dragon will only hatch after two years with its mothers' heat and after that, the race it feels is right. Each dragon has a specific race it will hatch to in a certain tribe, village, or clan. Legna and Urick, head to town and get the eggs. Also tell the others the news and have them tell everyone else."

"Okay, my lord," obeyed Urick, "we'll be back in a few minutes." Legna took off flying quickly and just like he said he was back in a few minutes cradling the eggs under his arms as Legna landed. Urick got off carefully and stated, "Here you are my lord."

"Don't hand them to me," Caim stated and pointed at Tatelyn. "Hand them to Tatelyn." Urick did as he was told and handed them to Tatelyn.

"They moved!" she exclaimed. "Both of them did!" After a few minutes they both glowed. The right one glowed white and the left one green.

"Once you get to an area you've destroyed pass the eggs throughout your people," explained Caim. "The eggs have chosen you as their race. They sense you are about to travel for a long distance, so they won't hatch right now." Furiae and the others came along just as he finished the sentence.

"I hope you a safe trip, bye" said Caim as he and the others took off back home. They celebrated their victory with a feast and there was peace for many years to follow.
