The wind rushed past him playing with his black and white striped fur as a cat would play with a ball of yarn. The ground felt cold under his paws and for every step he took the grass would tickle at his paw pads. The moon glowed brilliantly against the dark blue sky like a nightlight. "Why are things so complicated", he asked himself as he placed his left paw on the sword that was in its sheath behind his back. The stars twinkled and he couldn't help but stare at them as if hoping they would give some guidance as to deal with his current predicament. The sound of footsteps broke Aiden from his trance and as he turned around he saw the hooded figure no more than thirty of forty feet away from him. Aiden grasped the handle of his blade and took an aggressive fighting stance as stared at the hooded figure. "Identify yourself", He called out.

The figure stood there uttering nothing else but silence as he looked at the rather large tolf that was staring him down. The tolf's stance suggested that he was well skilled at fighting and the figure that hid under his cloak was not in any position to fight him or so it seemed. "Please, I only want to talk, hear me out and I will leave you in peace", the figure stated.

Aiden did not lower his guard but he was curios of what this stranger wanted with his time. The figure's voice rang eerily familiar in Aiden's ears. He couldn't put his paw on it but Aiden felt as if he had met this individual before."I'm listening, speak your piece", he said in just a barely audible tone. The wind blew just a bit stronger as the two stood there watching each others movements.

"Your in grave danger Aiden, I do not want you getting hurt, please I implore you to leave this land as fast as you can", the hooded figure said while his voice cracked with emotion.

The moonlight shined off the tears as they fell from the hooded figure's cheeks. Aiden released the grip he had on his sword slowly, he was racking his mind trying to remember the voice he was hearing. "What do you mean I am in danger". Aiden asked in hopes that hooded figure would give him some clue to his identity. "There is bounty on your head for the extermination of your old unit", the figure stated. From the way he sounded the guy who was under this cloak cared enough to risk death to give Aiden this information. The figure reached into his left pocket and pulled out a object that shined brightly from the moonlight.

Aiden couldn't help himself, he began walking towards the hooded figure only to be stopped by a large handgun pointed at him. The figure stood there in his left paw a necklace and in his right paw a large handgun. "Don't come any closer or I'll shoot", the figure cried out. His right paw shook as if hit by a winter chill, the laser pointed right at Aiden's heart. "If your going to shoot me then you might want to release the safety", Aiden stated in a calm and somewhat light-hearted tone. This figure was not any sort of soldier and obviously had not ever fired a weapon before. The figure looked down at the gun and tried to quickly release the safety but was stopped as Aiden threw a shuriken knocking the gun from the figure's paw.

Aiden quickly closed the gap between him and the hooded male, with astonishing speed grabbing hold of the male's arm and twisting it behind his back. "Now lets see who you really are", Aiden said with a hint of delight. His paw reached up only to receive a kick to his shin and an elbow to his jaw sending him sprawling backwards in surprise.

The figure turned quickly facing the tolf as he laid on the ground his paw cupped over his jaw. "I can't let you do that you see Aiden if you knew who I was then you would be put in even greater danger", said the figureas he picked up his handgun and placed the laser at Aiden's chest. If only Aiden could get a glimpse of who was under the hood he could know who this young fur that cared about him was. The figure tossed the pendant to Aiden and just as he did Aiden reached into his side pouch and threw another shuriken. This one was blocked by the figure making a "ching" sound as sparks were seen the shuriken striking the gun. The moonlight showed a small patch of fur that was red and white near the muzzle of the figure. The wind howled a little as the cloaked male held his large shiny peace pointed towards Aiden. "this doesn't make sense", Aiden thought. The male that had knocked him down appeared at the time to have no military training and yet not only had this guy knocked him on his ass but also blocked a shuriken and now to top it off held his gun like a master marksmen. "leave Aiden, please, I don't want to see you die", the figure's voice cracked again. The figure reached once more into his cloak and held a grey orb that gleamed dully in the clear moonlight. He dropped the orb and it landed with a crack and grey smoke released blinding Aiden from seeing the figure make his escape.

The smoke cleared and Aiden clambered up to his feet once again alone on the grassy hill where the flowers bloomed. He held the pendant in his paw studying it meticulously, the pendent was a gold heart with five gemstones in it that corresponded to the jems and colors of the royal crown. As he turned it over in his paw he saw an inscription on the back in the center of the pendant. The inscription stated "I love you and though I may lose you now I will find you again and bring you home safely, I promise"."I guess I have no choice but to listen to his warning", Aiden thought and as he stared at the moon wondering where he would go. "Where is my home", he asked himself as the wind once again played with his fur.
