Regret and Dishonor

Outside of the hospital Trent is positioned for what seems like hours on end. The wait was having its toll on the Kodo. His hoovish fingers tap on the steering wheel, "Ahh its like they are camping in the kid's room" he grumbles. But at $50 dollars an hour for kidnapping he could be doing a lot more work. Surely this went against all of his morals "Won't make much of a difference strength or honor if I don't have any food in my stomach..." he huffs as he wonders why he is doing such a lucrative job.

It was 10am quite the while after Syrus had been brought to the hospital. A delayed reaction came from the Kodo who was chomping on some fast food. "Shit... sorry Solron, work calls" hastily chomping down the sandwich as he makes his way into the hospital. It wasn't really that big of a deal for a guy who stuck out like a sore thumb to just say. "I am Syrus's neighbors... just wanted to pay a visit to see if he is alright" to get pointed the right way by the busy nurses to the room number he was told by the mature female voice of the professor on the phone.

According to her plan, Syrus was asleep and sedated already... hard to disturb harder for him to vocally grab others attention. Next he used the escape exit. Sure the nurses were in the halls but when you are busy with taking care of more needy patients its easy to miss an abduction. "Okay so It wasn't that bad" he growled as he lays the boy on the back seat.

Trent flips open his hand-held and dials a number. When it picks up he says waiting for no greeting."Target acquired, approaching the checkpoint, meet me at the rendezvous for extraction" Even though it was a simple job he was a little nervous, his feet held on the gas pedal cruising quickly through the city limits. Looking at the sleeping face of the boy in the back seat calmed him and worked at his conscience a bit.

"Just mauled by what I was told is a Werewolf and fighting it while injured with bare hands. That's some balls..." He thinks to himself as he turns his focus back on driving. Within the next hour he had made a stop somewhere dark damp and creepy within the town limits. There was a van, its color hard to discern in the lighting. It was weird that a place could be so dark in the morning.

The mature voice says from the shadows, "You might be stupid but you sure know how to follow directions" Opening the back door of the van, which seemed to have a decent amount of testing equipment for scientific purposes. "put him on in" she says as she dials a number. "He secured the boy, red hair light brown skin 4 fingers from the hospital at the designated room. Transfer the funds to the 'worker' "

Trent looks away and thinks to himself, "Honor bound to not save you and finish this contract, though I already feel bad..." gripping his fists inside his jeans. His glance slowly turned back to the drivers seat of his car as the doctor whispers into his ears. "If you ever feel like seeking a thrill instead survival call me" and places a kiss on his cheek. Her slender lab coat clothed body slides quite promiscuously down his form. His blush was one thing but the tent of his pants certainly would keep him silent if he ever had been asked about this dirty deal.

He would leave first leaving the female to do whatever she pleased with the subject. It was always part of the plan to get rid of that nut-job hodgepodge. Sure he gave her a lead but at this point she believed with the way he treated human beings that it was eat or be eaten with him.

"Let us see what we have here" she says as she strips the boy after putting him on a lab table. "Wow, its hard to believe that after a fight with a supernatural that one can look so photogenic" Her delicate hand slide down his chest which rises and falls slowly to remove the bandages.

She blinks and rubs her eyes. "Huh... this really isn't what I would call in the bounds of regular science" muttering herself, he hands slide down over his wound-less body. There are scars where very deep gashes should be. Within an instant she decided to flip out a needle and draw a sample here. "Now if you are becoming a werewolf, was it the other werewolf's dna that caused it?" she says as she scribbles this question down.

The journal rests on the nearest other table as she receives a call. On the journal Ordia L. Prime labels the top. She flips open the phone to the angry voice of Dr. HodgePodge, "What the hell is taking you so long in procuring the subject? Do you seriously think that this trail will steam forever?" To this she replies, "I am on my way back from the meeting point now... it will take some time." she taps the driver of the van.

As it turns on the doctor hears it in the phone. "I literally just sealed the deal, get a belt to keep your pants on." she growls into the phone. He growls back, "hmph I guess you know better than to fuck with the doctor" and with that the voice on the other side of the phone hangs up.

She after getting her own sample begins to do her own tests on the way back. The back is virtually without any shaking the car was given such good shocks that only a sudden halt would be an issue. "My my..." she says picking up the book and scribbling more information onto it.

Kite had to of felt really awkward when he walked into the hospital. Sure he finished the test quickly but it was just after when lunch was held at the school around 10:30. Walking in was the awkward part. "Such a cute foxy" with a few of the nurses, cows, humans, collies petting him up and making him blush.

He fussed, "hey hey I just came to visit my friend, room 162 who was sent here to intensive care quite early last night." Syrus was one of the few people that didn't have some type of response to his appearance. Well besides, "Get the stupid look off your face or at least turn it to someone else. Trying to study, they say stupidity infects"

The boy bursts from the crowd as he gets directions. "Thanks" so what if he was not exactly friends with the boy. Rather he was the closest thing Syrus would find at that school. "That jerk better be awake" he thinks to himself traveling to the room with the night's homework.

On the table in the room it was the last nights homework complete, with a note saying "Don't wake me up stupid..." Which would be normal for someone like Syrus but... where was he? Curiousity bit the fox who began to check the room. He didn't know the details of the things that happened to Syrus and thought that this could be a trick.

"Yo this isn't funny... I didn't come here to play games, I was just checking up." he yips. He edges slowly to the closed bathroom door, "Games over" he growls and pulls the door open. He flicks on the light... nothing. He whimpers for a moment and perks up his ears. The nurses should know right? He presses the emergency button behind the bed. "The patient who is supposed to be in the room isn't here!"

Why did it take so long for his nose with such an acute sense of smell to pick up the scent of the Kodo earlier. It hits him like a truck as he becomes more aware of his , his tail raises and he follows it down the hallway. "they will take forever, it might not be too late" he thinks as he plows open the emergency exit door and jumps down 5 stairs at a time.

His hear was racing as he opens the door merely seeing an old beater of a car drive off. As he follows the scent to where it was parked and chases after until it leaves sight trying to pick up as many details as he could. There was no drivers license it was a gray color. It was a beaten up car.

There was no shadow of doubt in his mind that this car driving further and further from his grasp was indeed carrying his friend. He whimpers as it moves out of sight between his pants, "Just what...-huff- did you get -huff- yourself into?" Kite grits his teeth as he returns to the hospital building. Another police report must be filed for the events surrounding Syrus.

As his slender, elegantly clothed body white silk and black pants make their way in the emergency exit, sweat rolls down his brow. Over and over again he went over all the details he gathered, trying to describe the scent of the Kodo even though the nose of a trained professional would be better, anything that would help.

He explains to a nurse looking about Syrus room about what he thought happened and to call the police. Canine paws hold the down turned forehead of the fox that rests on it. Something else hits his mind. The car was gray... or was it green... red... silver... metalic... he curses his partial colorblindness as he waits dutifully.
