"Who is that?" Asked Tano Suspiciously. "OPEN UP IT IS HAGDAR AND ELGRIS OF THE VILLAGE MILLITA!" Said the voice at the door. "Fuck." whispered Oderic. "Okay, listen in the den across from the fireplace, is a black hutch, push it to the right and head down the stairs. My grandchildren are down there. Tell them I said it was okay, and they should believe you. I will see if i can presuade the guards to leave, quickly now go." Oderic whispered hastily. The knocking now became consistent as thunder. "I AM COMING!" Shouted Oderic wondering how he was going to get out of this.

Tano and Bynar carried Falor over to the hutch and set him down. Tano pushed it aside, and there was a door. "Guess he was telling the truth, huh?" Said Bynar unconvincingly. Tano opened the door, and they went down the stairs, pulling the door shut behind them. Oderic rushed over and pushed the hutch back into place and walked over to the front door. Opening it slowly he saw two guards, standing there, looking grim. The lantern Hadgar was holding, did not help the mood, with its red hue. "There were a few Kaddock lions here earlier this evening, and we werwe told they came to you for help? Is this true?" Said Elgris acusingly.

?

"No, no of course not. I sent them away, saying that I could not help their friend and that they were mistaken in my ability to heal." Oderic replied smirking. "Are you sure of that, Oderic?" asked Hagdar. "Yes of course, I told them the soothsayer they seek is a couple miles west." said Oderic still holding his smirk like he was telling a joke to some old freinds. "Well you won't mind if we take a look around your home then, will you?" Asked Elgris. "No, no of course not, just do not wake my grandchildren, they are sound asleep in their rooms." Replied Oderic slightly quieter than before. "Okay well we will try to be quiet." Whispered Hagdar.

The two wolves entered the home, and looked around the den and smelled something funny, like wet fur, but assumed it was their own. Moving into the kitchen, everything seemed fine until they reached the back and had seen the table, in which he had been working on Falor. "What are all your supplies doing out? Did one of your grandchildren hurt themselves?" Asked Elgris eyeing all the blood and herbs on the table. "Yes, someone had came by after the lions, asked for me to heal them and I did." Replied Oderic feeling the butterflies in his chest. "That is odd isn't it Elgris?" Asked Hagdar dryly. "Yes it is Hagdar, considering we didn't see anyone else come to this house all night." Said Elgris smugly.

Oderic realised they knew this whole time. Lying bastards he thought, as he moved slowly over to the butcher knife on the table. "So you have been watching this house all night then, huh?" Said Oderic as he placed his back to the table and wrapped his padded fingers around the handle of the butcher knife. "Yeah, and we are going to take your grandchildren from you. Then take you to the gallows pole." Said Hagdar with a big smile on his face. Something inside Oderic snapped, like an old floor board that needed replacing years ago. "You will not take them away from me!" Shouted Oderic like a god that had issued a command.

?

Taking the knife and slamming it down in between Hagdar's shoulder and neck straight into his heart, Oderic then ripped the knife up and out of Hagdar, who dropped like a ton of bricks, and then threw it at Eldris's face, which became stuck in his left eye. Eldris was stunned at the sudden barbaric nature of Oderic. He reached up and wrapped his paws around the knife, as Oderic began to palm strike the handle till it was pommel deep inside his skull. Eldris slowly fell into blackness as he slouched against the wall and died.

Oderic was stunned at what he had just done. Slowly as if he was in a trance, he walked over to the hutch in the den. He moved the hutch and called for everyone to come up telling the children they needed to go directly to the fireplace. Tano and Bynar had heard what had been said and walked over to the kitchen and seen the carnage.
