Okay, this is just a Prologue It's kinda short. Chapter One will be longer.

part two

Left, right, left, right. Ian's mind droned him on. Left... Right... Left... The most inner part of his mind directed each step, not knowing it's destination. He walked for who knows how long. For some reason, he knew he shouldn't stop. Left...... Right...... His clothes ragged and filthy, his face covered in grime; he only knew to keep moving. His body with only enough power to turn from simple obstacles. Le........ft... Right..... Ian Stumbled. Unable to use his arms, he managed to climb to a knee before he fell over, on his side. Exhausted, he made a long relieved breath before he let the darkness surround him.

"Well, your Highness, let me roll out the carpet for you. They're just rocks." Riles snarled sarcastically gesturing his hands toward the road. "Coming from the guy who's always on review every week" Turdrah shot back, arms folded. "You're the one always crying about a broken nail, princess!"

They stopped in the middle of the road on their way back home. The pair, along with three others: Mush, Gore, and Sabel were finally at the end of a long journey. "Are they always like this?" Mush asked in a soft voice. Gore looked down at their new companion. "You get used to it. Boss put them together for this very reason." "Ah, The blood of the young" Sabel sighed as he walked past them and the arguing pair.

Gore Decided that, that was enough.

"If you didn't shoot at him we wouldn't have spent FOUR days combing the city for him!" Turdrah countered. They continued their argument "Because you hesitated!" Riles shot back "I couldn't get a clear shot, as you so proudly showed everyone." They were now inches from each other's face. they dropped their travel bags and were growling at each other.

Sabel sighed as he walked up ahead. The plains were beautiful, with several wild flower beds growing at home. What a nice day. He thought to himself. he could have spent an entire day under his favorite tree working on his next invention. He looked back at Riles, Turdrah, and the approaching Gore and sighed again. they wouldn't be home till sunset.

"Alright you two," Gore growled as he covered them in shadow. Turdrah merely looked at him but, Riles' blood ran cold. "Next one to talk will be gagged, bound, and spend an entire day with me." He leaned in close to Riles. He was so close he could smell Gore and feel his body heat "You got that?" Gore licked his lips right after. Riles numbly nodded.

Turdrah broke into a wide, mischievous grin. He knew Gore pretty well and knew exactly what he wanted. He slowly opened his mouth and spoke "You're an idiot, Riles." "That's IT!" Gore Roared and it looked like he grabbed for Turdrah But it was Riles who cried out as he was slung over Gore's shoulder "Get off of me!" Riles cried out, forgetting his fear of Gore. "I told you to shut up." Gore said as he grinned, carrying him toward home. "You should have listened.~" Turdrah chimed in, walking behind Gore. "Let me go!" Riles Growled as he attacked Gore's back. Gore chuckled "Yes, massage my back, it will be that much better!" "Poor, poor Riley" Turdrah teased. Gore showed Turdrah a spare claw " I have two hands, you know. A two day marathon sounds like fun" That shut Turdrah up.

Mush caught up to Turdrah. "What does he plan to do to him?" He asked, concerned for his friend. Turdrah could only chuckle "Maybe you'll find out soon enough" Mush shuddered, seeing his friend's despair.

Riles stopped fighting as he spotted something "What's that?" he asked, pointing. "I'm not falling for that." Gore said, keeping pace. Turdrah and Mush however, did look. From a distance, it looked like a heap of junk but they all knew better. "Looks like a body, probably murdered." He said, and continued walking. Mush closed his eyes for a moment "He's dormant" Mush announced "And he needs help." Mush began to walk over to him. Sabel by now had came back, irritated by the distractions. "We need to- Hello, what's this?" he spotted the unconscious body before them. Turdrah had returned and kicked the body over. " You might wake him!" Mush protested. Turdrah ignored him as he revealed the soft skin of a human "Well that's rare here. A human." Turdrah confirmed in a disinterested voice.

"A human?!" Gore asked, his interest peaked. He turned dropping Riles to the ground.

"What about me?" Riles asked, upset. "Oh." he remembered Riles and his plans. "Uh... Next time." he answered off-handedly

They surrounded the out-cold human. "What should we do?" Mush asked "We can't just leave him here." "Yes we can." Turdrah spun on his heels and walked away. Gore sighed and picked the body up "He might die from the heat up here... I'll carry him."
