#3 of Digimon

Chapter Three

Brandon was placed on the chair again, wires on his body as the older team of DATS read the data cursing though his body. The Hybrid Digimon was still in his Guilmon form, though now they gave him a pair of dark blue pants with a hole for his tail in the back. His gold eyes looking around at his new friends, or as he thought of them as his friend as they watched; Tony who was with him at the time of the battle looked over at Sampson who had what looked to be a white ferret around his shoulder.

"So why can't he go back to his human self?" asked Tony as he looked toward Brandon. "I mean, I know Digimon can revert back to their first forms right?"

"That's not really true," the white Digimon answered looking at the boy beside him. "I think Brandon and you three humans forms are like your in-training mode forms, a form before rookie. Once a Digimon goes into rookie, they can not revert back to that form. I theories that Brandon will stay as a Guilmon until he is badly wounded and reverts back into his human form to keep himself from dyeing."

"Kudamon may be right," answered Megumi. "Maybe that's what's going on." Brandon was allow to leave the chair as he jumped off, brushing his pants off as he looked around, still not use to having a tail he had to walk slowly until he started to walk somewhat faster.

"So," asked Brandon looking at the others. "I'm more or else stuck in this form until I hurt myself badly or until I weaken myself?" Kudamon nodded his head. "How the hell am I to go to school then?"

"You will still go to school," answered their captain. "I've already given word that you were changed when your mother was taken, so there won't be any surprises for the teachers, however from the students, maybe a lot." Brandon only gave a slight groan, being a Digimon wasn't so bad, but going to school with everyone looking at him, made him feel sort of a weird bystander, or outcast. "You three will go as well," he went on looking at Lighting, Lee, and Tony. "He already told the teachers that if by any chance you had to leave a any given time, to allow you, we do not know when a Digimon will come or what lead we will have."

"Yes," answered his Digimon. "Also, it seemed that rumours going around saying that there are a few other of your kind, if you can, find out and see if these are true in fact." All four nodded their heads as Sampson nodded back. "Alright, now off to your rooms, you all need your rest."

He was right; he did feel like an outcaste. Brandon was only in the front yard of the school wearing deep black pants and a red shirt with the yellow Triforce from the Legend of Zelda game. All eyes were glued to him as he made his way toward the front door of his school, backpack slung over his shoulder as he held on to on strap with one of his claws, his tail dragging behind him. His new ears allowed him to hear small mutters from far off which twitched at time like a rabbit ear would.

The day went by like always, in a way of sense toward Brandon, everybody was still looking at him from time to time, but this didn't stop him from doing his work. Drawing and writing was a pain with his huge claws, but he made it doable after a while of working. Near the end of the school day, when the last bell rang, he was about to leave the now empty room, when he heard the sound of screaming outside. His ears perked up at once at the sound and ran toward the window to see the same Black wing Digimon holding a older women in her arms. With tail trashing he ran out of the class room dropping his bag as he zipped past students with speed, when he couldn't get though he would jump on the lockers or jump over them. He found an open window and jumped though as students poured their heads out to watch him land on the ground looking where he went. Running toward where he was the Digimon, he was slammed into another teen causing them both to stumble back and land on their backs.

"Ugh..." someone groaned as Brandon sat up rubbing his head lightly to see who he ran into. He never saw this teen before. Short black messy hair, a lighter tan skin then what Brandon had as a human with deep brown eyes. He looked shorter then Brandon himself, at five foots seven. Both his pants and hoodie were deep black, but his hoodie was open enough to show he wore a blue shirt. Grey trainer shoes were seen on his feet as well as a cell phone that fell out with headphones and music blearing, the song Brandon knew as Broken Statues by We Came as Romans. He looked up toward Brandon when he brought his claw down to help him up, which he took. "Thanks," he muttered looking around then sighing. "Great I lost her damn it!" he punched a wall closer to him in anger as Brandon tilted a head.

"You lost who?"

"That Digimon that took my mother!" Brandon eyes grew wide, remembering the women who were being taken by the very same Digimon that took his mother.

"Looks like a human, about these big black wings," asked Brandon putting his claw as high as he thought the Digimon looked as the human nodded.

"Yes...how did you...?"

"Come with me," Brandon answered. "I think you need to hear what I'm about to tell you."

Sitting under the shade of a tree in the center of the old park, Brandon began to tell the teen who named himself as Daniel Wang; telling him that he and his mother were out for their morning run, when the Digimon attack him, taking his mother and fled.

"So are you saying," answered the confused human looking at Brandon. "That the reason she took my mother is because I'm really half Digimon?"

"That's right," he answered looking at him. "Though the reason beyond that is unknown, I and the other half breeds are going to do whatever it takes to get our family back," he looked over at Daniel. "Even yours'." The teen gave a small smile up at the red Digimon, who smiled back.

"So what's with you?" asked the brown eye person. "Were you always a Digimon?"

"No," answered Brandon. "It was weird," he showed him the Digivice. "When I and Tony were fighting this Digimon, I became so enraged that my hand started to glow a data like glow, I screamed out DNA charged and slammed my hand on this, and well..." he pointed up and down to himself. "This was what happened."

"That sounds so cool!" Brandon chuckled and nodded putting his Digivice away.

"Yeah," he answered. "I guess it is."

"Brandon, come in Brandon!" Brandon head looked up as he brought out his ear piece and put it to his ear.

"Brandon here," he answered as Daniel watched. "What seems to be the problem?"

"There another Digimon sighting northeast of you," answered one of the female tamers on the other side. The problem is we don't know what level it is, the digital gate closed to fast for us to get a clear reading on it. Lee and Lighting are on their way there no, but they may need back up!"

"I understand," answered Brandon. "But there a little other thing, it seems the black wing Digimon took another family member, I'm with the one right now; I think he's also a half Digimon."

"I'll send Tony then to help Lee and Lighting; you get that kid here now!"

"Understood," he brought the ear piece away and looked toward Daniel. "You gotta come with me for now alright?"

"Why?" he asked standing up.

"We need to know if you're really a half breed, if not then we need to know why that Digimon went off with your mother!"

"Alright," he answered looking up at him as Brandon took off toward the base with the young man close behind.
