*Garbled radio*

"10-4 Eagle 2, no containment, out..."

"We have no visual on our primary target, the rioters are using live rounds against us! For god's sake give us permission to engage! Out damn it!"

"Containment units be advised, we have reports of Valtovkian military units assisting the rioters. Proceed with caution."

In a large border town in Esterland the people have become restless, and fed up with the greed of their government. But that's not the only thing. After years of self indulgence and instant gratification, they now crave religion once more, but where to turn to? Who to turn to? As the modern world collapses around them, they turn to stories and rumors, why not the Fastolf story some think? A god on Osa? Why, that's just what the world needs, right? But perhaps, Ian is not the best furson to turn to for these kinds of needs...

The people of the border town, the people of Burling. Hail Ian as "The key to the return of the gods" and riot against their oppressors. The city is in flames, furs young and old flock to the cause, and Ian is all too willing to exploit the disillusioned public.

*TV and radio news broadcasts*

"Okay John so what you're telling me is that there ARE Valtovkian military units on the ground there?"

"Yes, Diane we have seen them pouring in, and giving weapons and supplies to the rebels. Even more shocking is that the rebels spray paint the fastolf star on the side of buildings and under it they write, "Salvation" or "By this sign you will conquer" It's very disturbing how such civilized people can turn into such things."

....

"I mean, you have to wonder here guys, what does Ian think he is doing, picking a fight with Esterland is... Attentinon: The city of burling is now under full military lockdown. All civilians must return to their homes, or be arrested on sight. All combatants are ordered to cease fire, or be shot on sight..."

....

The Valtovkian troops not used to fighting in such arid weather, fight with just their vests on (If they have any) others simply wear a white T shirt or tank top. This confuses the Esterland military, and causes them to mistake soldiers for civilians. I heavy price is paid for that mistake. The grunts who wore very little armor have a call sign by the Esterland people. "Crusaders" or "Purifiers" most likely do to their under shirts. The few Gray Watch soldiers that were sent, still wear their dark gray, and they receive the name "Dark Liberator" The cruelty of the Gray Watch, caused many rebels to defect, but the Watch are rarely seen anyway. But their actions did inspire one Esterland fox to write a story called, "The Shining Darkness: The Gray Watch"

That's the end for this random fic. Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for reading!
