Tamaya just kept on running, she knew that the others were on her trail, and frankly she couldn't do anything about that for now. They could track her wherever she went, so she had to think ahead.

If she could put enough distance between them and her, she'd be able to resolve her tracking problem.

She looked around, her pursuers were nowhere in sight; but that brought her no solace. The fiery heat of the fear and uncertainty, enclosed inside of her, was burning fiercer by the moment.

She signalled a passing taxi, which pulled over and let her get in the back.

"Axe's bar and grill, and step on it" She hissed, closing the door and looking back. Toglir and the others had just left the alley. They looked at the taxi, and she knew that they'd seen her. Toglir pointed to a skyscraper a few blocks away, gave an order and the blue dragon took flight. He then got the black dragon to catch a taxi and follow her. Toglir, however, turned back; sticking to alleys and roof tops as his only option, now that his true form was visible.

As the taxi drove on, Tamaya looked at her right arm; she'd need to get inside there, if she was going to stop herself from being tracked.

The taxi carrying the black dragon, was only a few cars behind hers; she could see him through the windows of the cars. He made a throat slitting gesture with his thumb at her, smiling evilly. She turned around, heart racing. She had to calm down and focus on what needed to be done.

She looked at her arm again, and put a claw tip to it.

The silver dragon sat in the back of his limo, watching the chase on a TV screen; he was watching a bird's eye view of the taxis, and Toglir jumping over rooftops to the right of the street. He was wearing a posh business suit, gold watch and holding a glass of red wine.

He smirked, taking another sip from his glass of wine. The portrait of an orange dragon, with a yellow underside, appeared in the top right of the screen.

"Target locked, permission to destroy hostile vehicle. I predict seven casualties" The orange dragon said.

"Permission denied Tiolix...we're only after her; besides, I like seeing prey squirm. Your explosives expertise is unrivalled, but I think we need to take civilian lives into account on this one." The silver dragon replied.

"Yes master, standing down" The Tiolix replied, bowing his head, before the portrait disappeared.

Toglir watched and growled as the black dragon's taxi got stopped at traffic lights, but Tamaya's taxi didn't. He wouldn't let her get away that easily. She couldn't be allowed to escape; if she did, he'd be the one who would take the flak for it.

He tailed the taxi for a little longer, before jumping down onto the roof with a thud.

Tamaya's heart skipped a beat, as something thudded above her. She started sobbing and crying again, curling into a ball as tears streamed down her cheeks.

Toglir smiled, as he stabbed his claws into the roof and started to rip it off.

Tamaya started to prey under her breath, as the metal above her was lifted and light started to enter from the lights above.

Toglir called out to Tamaya, a black limo coming up alongside them.

"We're going to kill you slowly...but first master wants a word"

He ripped the roof off, and looked down at his prey.

"Please no!" Tamaya cried, burying her head in her hands.

"What!" Toglir shouted, looking down into the back of the taxi.

The taxi was empty.

He reached down and picked up a small red box, from the back seat of the taxi. He examined the box in his hand.

The box was no bigger than a match box, had a small circular transmitter on it, that looked like an in built satellite dish with a clear cover over it. A smaller black box was also mounted on the red box; the black box had several broken wires coming from it.

He roared, and cursed his head off at Tamaya. The door to the limo opened and he jumped inside, closing the door behind him. He sighed, angrily, before turning and looking at the occupant of the limo.

The silver dragon inside, was his master and owner. Unlike Toglir, the dragon was flesh and blood. Toglir was his loyal servant, and would never step out of line when he was the one in charge. He dropped into a crouch, and bowed his head to his master.

"Master, she disconnected her tracking device. I'm sorry that I've failed you, and I'm ready for whatever punishment that has earned me." He said.

The silver dragon got up, glass of wine in hand, and started pacing round his robotic minion before giving his judgement.

The lid of the dumpster was opened, the lights above the back door of the club flooding in. Tamaya looked up to see a dragon looking back at her.

"Are you ok?" he asked, helping her out of the dumpster. Her heart raced for a moment, before slowing down. He wasn't one of them.

He was the same height of her, had sleek black scales and a red scar over his right eye. His eyes were cyan, and the eye with the scar was unharmed itself. He was decently muscular, and seemed rather caring from what she could see in his eyes. He froze, seeing her arm.

The scales on the upper portion of her arm had cut open, and she was bleeding badly.

"Here, come here" He said, taking off his black jacket and pressing it hard against her wound to try and stop the bleeding. "What happened?"

"I...I..." She begun, still recovering from the shock of being safe. "I got slashed by somebody, and woke up in there."

"Let's get out of here; I'll call an ambulance" He said, pulling his mobile out of the pocket of his jeans.

"No!" She shouted, pulling away from him. "I...I mean...I can't go to the hospital, please can we go somewhere safe?"

He nodded and led her out of the alley, letting her keep his jacket to hold on the wound. She cautiously followed the dragon, who was leading her away. He seemed kind enough, and had given her his jacket to cover her wound with. Right now, she just wanted to leave; she wanted to get as far away from Toglir as physically possible. She just wanted to escape the pain and fear of reality.

-

The silver dragon looked at Toglir, the black and the blue dragon in front of him.

"You do realise what's happened, yes?" He asked.

"Yes master" the three crouched dragons replied in union.

"Due to your lack of effectiveness, Tamaya is out in the city..." He begun, finishing off the wine in his glass. "I will not tolerate failure on this level! You morons are going to fix this, if I have to disassemble you and rebuild you with machine guns and rockets instead of arms! Slaughter Tamaya, or I will ensure you suffer for the rest of your active lives."

"As you wish master" They said, once again in union. He dismissed them and they left the stationary limo. As he poured himself another glass of wine, an ice blue dragoness got into the limo and walked over to him, crouching down like the others when she reached him. She was wearing blue jeans and a white top to cover herself.

"You summoned me master" She said, keeping her head bowed. He reached down and brushed his hand over her tough, but smooth, scales. He got her to rise before speaking to her.

"You're in charge of killing Tamaya, but don't stretch yourself...get them to do it; I don't want my beauty to strain herself" He said, putting his free arm round her and leaning closer to her "I know you're a robot...but...you are indeed perfect in my eyes."

"What master's mate doesn't know...won't hurt us" She said, both of them leaning closer and kissing.
