Tales of Nine
Waking up
I wake trying to think of what has happened in the last few days. I remember images of my Ninetails bringing me water and always looking worried. Then I remembered what happened, a Rapidash tried to attack us and the trainer wanted to steal her from me. I told her to run, just before the Rapidash's horn flew threw my shoulder and was then hit by a Ember attack. "Angel, you're awake" my Ninetales said to me as I started to move. It then hit me a few moments later... she can't talk human. "Are you ok?" she asked me and I turned my head and looked at her, then scream as loud as I could. She begins to try and comfort me telling me to calm down but I try to stand still freaking out when I noticed that my arms weren't moving right. I looked down at them and saw that there paws not arms, and my clothes were gone infract I was covered in a glodish white fur and I had a tail... wait not one tail I had more. I was a Ninetails and I was screaming louder and louder. "Shut up Angel" she yells as I get a weak blast of Emeber on my head. "Shimmer (the female Ninetails name) what's going on?" I asked still freaking out. "You were dieing and I saved you... the only way I could" she said still trying to calm me down, this time with a lick to the check. "You turned me into a Ninetails" I said in a stunned shocked expression. "Well yeah, I wasn't going to let you die" Shimmer said positive it was the right ting to do.
I just sat there trying to digest this while I tried to get up and walk but couldn't get my four legs walking right and fell over multiple times, I gave up and stood there like I was on ice with my legs sliding out from underneath me. Shimmer laughed at me as I tired to move about "you look like a pup learning to walk" she said with a hug smile on her muzzle. "I am learning to walk Shimmer" I snapped back, becoming frustrated. "Ok ok calm down Angel, just mimic me" she said when her laughter died down. She walked slowly in front of me. I slowly mimicked her still a little shaky but and I started to get it, but then when I was doing walking steadily my tails started to wag and one caught under my foot and I tripped over it "blasted tail" I yell to my tails "why couldn't you morph me into some two legged tailless pokemon" I then asked Shimmer. She turned around and placed a paw on my head indicating that I should stay lying down, I did and looked at her "the rumors of a Ninetails powers are somewhat true. Our tails contain a power and I used mine to call for help. The Ninetails council came and I pleaded with them until." She paused to take a breath "until they agreed under a single condition" she finished saying with a blush at the base of her nose. "Ok that's cool. Ill take it you can only do Ninetails then" I asked as I started to accept I'm now one. When my eyes sparked as I remembered something I once herd "am I going to live for a thousand years?" I asked hopefully. Shimmer looked at me with a smile "it's better than that. Us Nine tails stop ageing when the reach around twenty years old, the rest of our thousand years of life is lived out at that age in body but not mind" she told me with emphases on the word thousand. "So I'm an eighteen year old Ninetails and you're sixteen, I hope we get along" I said with a hint of joking in my voice. "Me to, because the condition the council gave me is that I must be your mate... for life" Shimmer said quickly, wanting to get it out in the open. As I herd that I just laid there with a blank look on my face and Shimmers muzzle and cheeks went bright red.
An hour passed and neither of us said anything. All I could think of was of all the times a wrote in my journal on how I wish I was a Ninetails like Shimmer, and to live with her. My wish came true but I never thought it would fell like this. "Think you can run" Shimmer eventually said. "What? Why" I asked not expecting a question like that. "Well if were attacked, I don't want to be captured and made someone pokemon, I want to stay with you." She said in a gentle and loving voice. "No problem" I said with a wink, I got to my paws and walked to my old back pack, when I got there I thought I was pretty clever for doing it. I poked my head in the bag and pulled out a collar like the one she was wearing. I went to get it on but without hands or thumbs I struggled a lot and did a lot of rolling on the ground. This made Shimmer laugh at me but I eventually got it on. I reached into the backpack and got out a pokeball, I walked over to Shimmer and dropped the ball in front of her "shimmer can you push it on the grey circle on my collar" I asked her holding my head up. "Ok but why this one" Shimmer asked after she did it. "Because it is your pokeball. See us humans. I mean the humans designed a pokeball that if the captured pokemon leaves its radius for a certain length of time because of multiple reasons the pokemon become wild again, but as long as you stay close to me you can never be caught again" I said in a soft and humbling voice. I then steered into her eyes and saw tears form "thank you" she said is a soft and weak voice and a tear runs down her cheek. I lick the tear and then rubbed my head across her cheek. "Shimmer... I love you, and thank you for giving up part of your life for me." I whispered into her ear. "she looked at me reflecting on what I said "I know you ordered me to let you die, but I new if the council would do my request, I was going to be your mate because, just like you I always wanted to be a human and be with you, and anyway you fulfill my life not take away from it" she said back to me with a slow blink of her eyes.
"Ok let's see you run" was the next thin g she said and it killed the moment. "Um ok" I said begging to walk faster and faster. "I said run not walk real fast" she said laughing. "Here mimic me again she said as she ran past me but slowed down in front of me. I tried mimicking her but it was hard to run like that. She continued teaching me for the next ten minutes until I got it, I sped up to run as fast as I could passing Shimmer, so she begun to run at top speed slowly catching up to me. I looked over my shoulder and grinned at her, I then begun to speed up even more "looks like I'm faster Shimmer" I yelled out to her. Then she blazed pass me with a trail of white light and then stopped right in front of me "maybe but I can use Agility AND you should learn it so we can run from danger" she said planning to teach me it all along. "Ok so how do I learn it" I asked. "Run beside me" she said as she ran off. Luckily I am somehow a faster runner and catch up to her and then equaled my speed to hers "ok concentrate on the mind and you legs. Then try to make the wind break before it touches you" she yelled to me using an extremely slow version of Agility next to me. I focused and gritted my teeth trying to push the wind pass me "Agility has nothing to do with the wind but its meant to feel like the wind is braking before you" I asked as I felt the wind break but still blow pass me. "Yep" Shimmer said smiling because I figured it out. I concentrated on the feeling and suddenly I shot off going five times faster than before in a single second, but I only covered three feet doing this because I ran straight into a tree. I land on the ground grinding in pain trying to reach my head and rub it but with paws it's hard to do. Shimmer stopped right next to me "are you alright" she said panicking. "all I continued to say was "my head my head" I finally got my paws on my head and started to roll in the dirt "it hurts so much" I managed to say after I stopped felling so disoriented "ok ok calm down" she said to me "let me check it" she continued to say as she held me down. I moved my paws and started to whimper, unable to stop. Shimmer checked and taped it a few times making me flinch "its not bleeding but it'll hurt for a few days" She said giving the tip of my muzzle a small lick. I looked at her as she got of from pinning me and herd someone laughing. "Show your self" Shimmer demanded standing close to me in a defensive stance. "Clam down, I'm a friend my names Aeria" a Ninetails said coming out the bushes. "Why are you hear" Shimmer asked. "Well you called a few days ago" he said like it was obvious. "oh yeah I forgot to call it off" Shimmer said as she fanned her tails out, then her tails begun to glow and a howl came out her mouth but it felt like it was going into my head and my ears can't even hear it. "In the future remember to call it off" he said approaching Shimmer and ignoring me. "So why did he run into that tree" Aeria then asked. "I was teaching him to use Agility, he was probably not concentrating on his surroundings, like trees" She said smiling. I got up and introduced both me and Shimmer he introduced himself then offered to come to a den he found for dinner. We accepted and went with him.
We got to his den and he asked Shimmer to go make a fire. He sat down next to me "hey what's your name again" he asked trying to start a conversation. "I'm Angel" I answered happy to have a talk. "Well Angel you seem different" he said giving me a small chuckle. I started to think and decide to tell him what happened, the next ten to twenty minutes telling him about what's been happening "and that's about it" I said at the end of the story. "And it's all true" he said wanting to make sure at my story was. "Yes all of it" I said back to him. "She'll be in heat soon" he told me, "wait how did you know?" I begun to say but got cut off. "Its obvious to someone as old as me, so how old is she" he said with a grin that showed me his teeth. "Well she's sixteen and I'm eighteen" I said unsure why he wanted to know. "Wow, I new after your story you'd be young but did you train her from birth or something" he said curious to why she's so young. "I rescued her. She had an abusive trainer so I stole her, well my dad did but he gave her to me. Basically after that we became true friends and I never wanted another pokemon" I told him trying to make sure Shimmer was not around. "I'm wondering if you know how lucky you are that's she's your mate" Aeria told me. "What do you mean? And how did you know" I asked. "well first of all us Ninetails... well the females don't even look for mates till there around one hundred years old, and she'll be going into heat soon, second, the way you talk about her it to obvious" he said sounding disappointed. "Wait how do you know, her scent is nothing like being in heat, I remember once when she was before it was insane" I told him, because I seriously didn't believe him. "Look buddy when you're a five hundred year old virgin you do learn a few things" he said giving me a nudge in the arm. As I herd that I tried to hold back my laughter, but I couldn't hold it in. I burst out in laughter "your... you're a five hundred year old virgin" I yell out as I full to the ground still laughing. Aeria steers at me with a mad look "ahem" he say trying to make me stop but I couldn't stop rolling in laughter until a Flamethrower blasted me, "look shut up" Aeria then yelled at me. I laid there covered in a fine ash over my coat. "That was surprisingly not pain full" I said to Areia sitting back up. "Well duh you're a fire pokemon" he said with a wink. "are you two alright" Shimmer asked as she approached us from the behind, she made a cute little pile of wood and then used Ember on it "well fires ready" she said as her stomach growled.
Areia ran off into his den then came out with a Ratacate, he walked up to the fire and dropped it on the fire. "Nice catch" Shimmer said obviously impressed, I stood there watching the dead pokemon cook as I felt sick to my stomach. About five minutes later Areia grabbed the food and pulled it out the fire "ladies first" he said giving a bit of a bow. "Why thank you" Shimmer said with a light blush at the base of her nose. Shimmer ate most of the pokemon and then me and Areia ate the rest at the same time, I only had a few bites because after each bit I felt sick, after the meal me and Shimmer went for a short walk to get a drink. "You know Angel your really dirty, am I going to need to groom you?" Shimmer told me when we found some water, I blush along the sides of my muzzle as I begun to get a drink. "I don't mind being dirty" I said as an excuse. Shimmer sighed "there is nothing wrong with your tongue cleaning yourself" she told me as she started to groom herself. "Why can't I just get in the water" I asked Shimmer, since she never has. "Well that's easy. Our body temperature is a lot higher. Jumping in there would be like jumping in frozen water for humans" she explained to me. I let of a sigh and started to mimic what she was doing. We must have groomed for what seemed like hours but was no where as long, we went back to Areia's den and went inside, Areia was already asleep and we just curled up and went to sleep as well. Shimmer did try to curl up with me but I kept moving away, for some reason it didn't feel right and she did give up eventually.
During the night Ariea woke up and then woke up Shimmer so they went outside "shimmer I need to ask you something, its quite important" Areia said sitting quite close to Shimmer. "Ok, what is it" Shimmer said ignoring him being so close. "I know you'll be in heat soon, I also know that your mate is not right for giving you pups, he's to weak" he begun to say. "And what do you mean by that" Shimmer snapped at the comment. "Well I am willing to mate with you, so you're... our pups will have strong genes" Areia said getting up. "What! No I will not... I love him and he'll be the father" she said angrily walking off back to the den. "Fine then" Areia said in an evil tone as he charged Shimmer.
Areia jumped onto Shimmers back, his cock fully erect "get off of me" she screamed using her tales to hold him off. "You know you want this quit struggling" Ariea yelled. While Areia did violent thrust after thrust everyone one missing its target. Shimmer tried to struggle out but Arieas grip but he was to strong, she was screaming and pleading but he was leaning on her drawling now knowing she can't get away. I got up hearing noises from outside so I poked my head out the den. I saw Shimmer screaming with Ariea on her back and then him using a Flamethrower on her head. Shimmer screamed but pulled her tails in as a shield, she then saw me "ANGLE HELP" she yelled at the top of her voice, a rage filled me and I launched my Agility straight into him. He went flying off into tree and my head instantly screamed in pain. "Shimmer run now" I barked to her. "I can help you Angel" She said to me standing next to me. Ariea got up and stood in front of us "I gave you food, a roof over your head, protection and all I wanted was one little favor" he said growling at us. "You sick buddy" I growled back at him, I then looked at Shimmer "you're what he wants, I'll distract him and we'll meet later" I told her. "Fine, but you better get back" she said as she ran away. Areia went to use Agility after her but I threw myself in his way causing him to trip over me. "You can't win with only Agility boy" he said to me looking real pissed. "You can't win with only fire attacks either" I responded with a smile on my face. All he did we charge with a Tackle attack, I was hit about three feet and landed on my paws, I was thinking of any attacks I could use but nothing came to mind, but then I noticed a Ember coming at me. I ran out the way and managed to avoid it then I noticed his tails waging 'of course I'll try Iron Tail' I thought to myself as Areia charged another Tackle. I clumped my tails together and held them straight and charged him, as I charged I whispered "please work please work please work" to myself and at the last moment I swung around striking with my tail, and as I saw my tails were glowing and Areia was flying off into another tree with such force the tree collapsed on him. "Never bother us again" I told him as he struggled trying to get the tree off of him. I then turned around and used Agility to catch up to Shimmer.
