Lila sat out side watching the sunrise. From what the wolf could tell it was nearly, or had just past, 6 a.m. She knew her cousin Anubeus was coming to her village, so she wanted it to be nice for the swordsman jackal. Lycopolis was a village where ninja-like people lived. Lila was the village leader.

I wounder when Anu- she began to think, as Anubeus started walking up her pathway -beus will get her? "Good morning cousin! How are you?"

Anubeus bowed, "Well, in need of a bath, and some clean clothes, other than that physicaly fine."

"I'll have my servant get your bath going. Joannes!" When she called out the name, a red fox no more than fifteen years old came to she what she needed.

"Yes, milady?" Joannes said in a polite tone of voice.

"Will you get a bath going for my cousin here, and get him some clean clothes. By the way, Anubeus, meet Joannes; Joannes, Anubeus."

"It is an honor to meet you, Anubeus." Joannes said and bowed to the swordsman, who in turn bowed back to the fox. "Will you please follow me."

As Anubeus undressed, he noticed the young fox was watching him. "Hey, Joannes, come here."

A look of horror crept on to the fox's face. He walked in the room. "Yes, sir?"

"Joannes, you see those panties, the blue thong on top of my black pants, can you find me one just like it. I don't care what color. And while I'm bathing will you please wash my clothes for me, and put them in a bag?" Anubeus said, gestering over to the blue thong.

"Yes, sir." Joannes ran off as fast as he could.

Anubeus really did not keep it a secret that he wore women's underwear. He prefured it to men's underwear. He really like thong underwear, but would wear bikini ones too. Most people thought that he was mentaly ill, which he more than likely was. But he didn't give a damn about what others thought about his underwear choses.

When he got to of the bath, his towl was hanging on a bar for him. His clothes that Joannes had went and found for the jackal swordsman. The thong that Joannes found was pink, and Anubeus did not mind at all. The clothes were similar to what he had been wearing. His boots were out and ready to be put on, a new, clean pair of black cargo pants, a black t-shirt, and a black pull over hoodie. But when he looked over at his swords, which were on a sword display rack, next to them were a leg or arm sheath with four kukai in them. Next to the kunai was a note:

Dear Anubeus, I had these forged for you. Each kunai has a diferent kanji on it. The first kanji means "earth or ground," The next kanji is means "fire," the next one means "wind," and the last one means "water." May they be usefull to you, cousin.-Lila.

"Why thank you, Lila, for the kunai." Anubeus said to himself. knowing that she would not want to be known as the giver of the kunai. He got dressed and put the kunai on his opposite side of his swords, which he wore on the left. So he seemed more like a ninja than he usual did. He didn't see himself as a ninja or a samurai type warrior. He saw himself as a swordsman; a persom of courage, honor, valiance, nobility, chivarly, and gallantry. He was skilled fairly with the sword, but did not see himself as a "kensei," or "sword-saint," like the Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.

"Anubeus, Lady Lila wants you to join her for breakfast." Joannes appeared at the door again.

"Ok, lead the way to where she is having breakfast." Anubeus said. holding his katana by the saya in his right hand to show he was at a peaceful nature, and had no intentions of harming any one. To be frank, Anubeus hated to kill people, he really did. People that he knew would discribe him as a samurai-ninja-knight when he fought; due to his fighting style was a mixture of Japanese swordplay and European swordplay, and the ninja part was due to how he was so deadly silent in what ever he did.

"Good morning, Anubeus. How was your bath?" Lila asked, offering the jackal a glass of orange juice, which he took.

"It was refreshing. Thanks for the juice." He lifted his glass as if in a toast, and Lila did the same with he glass.

"I'm pleased." She said, then began to wisper, "I see you got my gift."

Anubeus smiled and knodded. "Gratias tibi, Lila, do." Thanks to you, Lila, I give.

"Latin, you were always the one to study the dead languages, Anubeus." Lila laughed.
