~~~Writer's boring comments~~~
This story is just beginning, it's about the change of a galaxy filled with peaceful races into a galaxy filled with... Well today's people. We're a bloody thirsty enough lot. So enjoy.
~~~Writer's boring comments end, enjoy story.~~~

The world is a cold cruel place, but it has not always been this way. Over a couple hundred million years ago, on a planet far from the galactic edge there was a planet, the first planet in the Milky Way Galaxy to hold life, and among this life there was no pain, no death aside from old age. People knew not war, nor sorrow, nor even true loss. On this planet, this planet called Furia, there was only the furs and nature, a people and planet that lived as one.

Furia thrived in that time, a tried and true utopia for the living, a heaven if you will. On this planet the people, creatures that would now-a-days be classified as either predator or prey lived in harmony, procreating with each other to create new and beautiful species. It was the perfect world, God's vision for man come true!

Yet, in the year of 144 G.E of the galactic era when Furia had reached out beyond their planet to explore the stars. These explorers of space found a new planet finally among the stars, a planet that while it orbited a white star, had a land that was ripe and beautiful. It was an impossibility that even the scientists of their home planet could not figure out.

Soon a discussion formed over what to do with this planet, many wanted to research it from a distance, some wanted to land on it and feel the life for themselves. But a few others, this small minority, wanted to forgo any arduous research and just colonize it. To become a true intergalactic race was their dream and they saw that planet as the chance for their people to become such a race.

The debate raged on and on, until not but a year later they came to a conclusion. With the help of the small minority a select group of settlers would, by choice of their own, go down to the planet and start up a colony. This colony would be small and controlled, as well watched from above by a research station that would never allow it's crew to descend to the surface. With this choice, the course was set and soon the entire galaxy would change. It's change, brought on by one man and his single greatest choice...
