Request: White Tigers (Poem)
Made by Amanda by request
A lonely white tiger crouches
Quietly on the ground.
Ever so silently he watches,
For he dares not make a sound.
His heartbeat is pounding
So loudly in his ears,
He cannot believe his luck!
His eyes well up with tears.
He thought he was all alone,
a part of life's cruel fate.
But sitting by the waters edge
He knew to be his future mate.
He cautiously moves toward her,
Hoping she does not run.
Her white fur and eyes a-gleaming
In the midday sun.
She sees him coming towards her,
But has no wish to flee.
For now there will be two white tigers,
And someday maybe three.
