The Last Human Part 8
Raito and the others went to the mechanical bull ride and they saw Gyro Gearloose. He was getting the ride ready for another go and he was standing next to the controls of it.
"Gyro, what are doing here?" asked Scrooge curiously.
"I made a mechanical bull ride for the kids, the fair is paying me to let kids ride it and they paid me to make it." explained Gyro.
Gyro saw Raito, he'd never met him and wondered who he was and had so many questions about him.
"Gyro Gearloose." said Raito.
"How did he?" Gyro said but than went silent.
"I can read your thoughts, I'm Raito." said Raito as he shook Gyro's hand.
Gyro knew that Raito seemed different to everyone and knew he must have strange powers but was unaware of how powerful he was.
"I'd like to ride the mechanical bull." said Raito.
"Alrgiht but I'll need to make some adjustments." said Gyro.
While Gyro made the adjustments, little did they all know that Flintheart was sneaking around and he had a screw-driver on him.
"This will settle that boy's wagon." giggled Flintheart evilly as he was loosening the bolts.
Gyro's adjustments were done and Raito got on the ride, he was surrounded by an inflatable cushion in case he were to fall. Gyro gave him some instructions to follow before the ride started.
"Hang on to the rope with your one hand going under and raise the other hand in the air." instructed Gyro.
Raito did as he's told and Gyro started to the ride. The speed of the bull was fast but the ride wasn't rough. Raito was feeling like he could handle more as he was having fun.
"Give me all you Gyro, I can handle it." said Raito encouraging Gyro.
Gyro used the controls to make the bull go really fast and look like it was trying to buck him off but Raito still hung on and didn't slip an inch.
"Yee haw." called Raito happily.
The others thought it looked fun but suddenly the bull ride started to almost fall to the ground and it made a buck that made the bolts break and sent Raito flying.
"RAITO." screamed Gyro.
Raito screamed and he landed on a real live bull and the impact made the bull try to buck him off. Scrooge and the others ran after him to see if he was okay.
"Raito, don't let go." called Bentina.
"I CAN'T." screamed Raito and the bull buck him off and he ran into a crowd of circus entertainers.
The people he ran into after he hit the ground got knocked over and fell, causing a large tent to fall to the ground like a deflated balloon leaking air. People gathered around and Scrooge and the others ran over to him.
"GYRO." screamed Raito.
Raitogot up on his feet and felt pain on his legs, arms and his back. Gyro ran up to him.
"Raito, I didn't mean for this to happen, the bolts just got loose." said Gyro looking frantic. "Are you okay?"
"WHO LOOSENED THE BOLTS ON THAT BULL RIDE?" shouted Raito looking angry.
Flintheart was not far away and he was trying to stifle his laughter as he grinned maliciously.
"WHO DID IT?" yelled Raito.
"He did it." said a young teenage boy pointing at Flintheart.
Everyone turned to see Flintheart and he tried to make himself look innocent from the watching eyes of everyone since he knew he was going to be found out.
"He did it, I watched him loosen the bolts. He did it." said the teenager.
"You have no proof that it was me. Gyro must of made a mistake." said Flintheart trying to look innocent.
Raito said something in japanese and the screw-driver in Flintheart's pockets flew out of thin air and floated towards Raito. Everyone gave Flintheart a cold look but Raito was steaming mad.
"GET OVER HERE FLINTHEART, NOW." shouted Raito.
"Why should I?" said Flintheart mockingly.
Raito's eyes were turning to the color of bright red and he lifted his right left hand.
"I said now." said Raito in a deep and demonic voice as he made a movement with his hand.
Like an invisible force, something pulled Flintheart over to Raito in a flash and Raito was looking mad enough to hurt someone.
"You wouldn't hit an old duck, would you?" said Flintheart trying to make himself look like the victim but it didn't work.
Raito's wounds seemed to disappear like magic and he grabbed Flinthearts hat and tore a hole in it by forcing it over his head and it was around his neck like a big necklace.
"You shouldn't of done this." growled Raito in japanese.
Raito gave Flintheart a hard slap to the face, it hurt enough to sting. He grabbed Flintheart by the shirt and looked like he was going to harm him.
"Raito wait, if you do this, the police will have you arrested." said Scrooge trying to convince Raito to calm down.
"Listen to Mcduck, you ugly little creature." said Flintheart with a wicked grin.
Raito felt his heart break from what Flintheart just said, his eyes turned to their normal color and his voice went back to normal. A tear formed out of his left eye.
"Is the little baby gonna run and cry for mommy?" said Flintheart with an evil, mocking laugh. "How do we know your not an illegal immigrant."
Raito slapped him again on the face and this time made Flintheart almost fall over but he used his cane to prevent himself from falling. Raito ran off as fast as a drag racer on the track, crying silently as tears formed out of his eyes. Everyone knew this was all Flintheart Glomgold's fault that he messed with Gyro's bull ride and worse of all, broke Raito's heart and hurt his feelings.
"Flintheart, you monster. This is all your fault." said Scrooge sharply.
"Your harboring an ugly monster, he's got no fur, no feathers, nothing but skin which is just disgusting." said Flintheart mockingly.
Duey threw a snowcone at Flintheart's face and it was cold enough to make him shiver.
"Your just lucky that we have to find Raito, you heartless duck." said Scrooge.
Scrooge, Huey, Duey, Louie, Duckworth, Bentina Beakley and Gyro went off to look for Raito. Flintheart was getting cold looks from everyone as he walked off with a smug look on his face. One thing was on Scrooge's mind, if they find Raito, how will they mend his broken spirit?
