#7 of LoZ: OoT Reinterpretation

Chapter Seven: A dreadful and nightmarish encounter

This chapter is going to be just a bit different than normal...let's just say that it isn't a sex chapter but still adult level.

Link awoke to find that both of his girls were still snuggling up to him, their warm bodies pressed against him. They were breathing softly, neither of them seeming close to waking up. He smiled and held them even closer, purring softly and just enjoying how close they were to him. He then realized that he had woken up in the middle of the night. "Hmm?" he asked, looking around the dark house around him. He then noticed a single shape in the middle of the room, sitting there completely still, hoping that it had not been seen. He recognized the ears, the tail, the nose, and the beady eyes that stared out at him with malice like no other.

He got up slowly and the shape backed off. First bad move. He now knew that it was actually there and not a figment of his imagination. "What are you doing here?!" Link asked in a low, threatening growl.

A blade came into view. Second mistake on Mido's part. "I'm taking back the thing that is mine," he heard a cold whisper come. Mido's voice had changed. No longer was there the normal voice that he had. It seemed filled with hatred and anger, a voice that was nothing at all like the Mido that had scurried back to his home.

Link watched this curious fox now try and shimmy around him. He was trying to get closer to the girls, or get Link closer to him in an indirect way. Link took the latter, having a plan of what to do if Mido acted. "Listen here. They are not yours. They never were to begin with. Saria most certainly did not want you. Neither would Lina have wanted you."

"You thief!" Mido growled at the cat. "You used your charm and stole away my chances that I had! And believe me, I had plenty of chances to have at least Saria for my own...yet you took her when she wandered in, all lusty and in desperate need of sex that I was not going to supply until we were married."

Link frowned. This was not Mido. No, there was something else about him that just did not feel right. There was something evil. "You aren't Mido, are you?" he asked.

The figure gave a quiet chuckle and he said, "You won't know until I'm dead or you are and I have the girls. But by the time that it comes to the deciding factor, you won't even be able to see anything!" It took a step forward and swiped the gleaming blade at Link's eyes.

Link just barely ducked underneath it, his ears folding down onto his head so that they weren't chopped off. He then balled his right hand into a fist and slammed it hard right into the wind pipe of the person. His fist connected perfectly and Mido had the wind knocked out of him, backing up to the edge. The moonlight shone on him, showing Link a hint that it was Mido, but that he had changed drastically.

Link did not take the time to pay attention to the details. Rather, he just charged and did a drop kick, landing both of his feet on the face of the assailant and sending them flying off of the balcony to the ground below. The figure landed on his back and struggled to get up. Link had dropped down by that point and had picked up the sword that had been dropped.

Link held the sword rather nervously. He stared at Mido, noticing that his fur that had once been green, like everyone else besides Link, was now a dark color, almost jet black. His eyes were red, at least the irises were. He glared at Link as if he were a mortal enemy of his, even though he had not regarded Link quite so heavily before. He had actually taken a dare at coming against Link with a sword now. And the fact that he was not scared that Link now had possession of the deadly, gleaming weapon was what scared Link the most.

"You're thinking of killing me with that, aren't you?" Mido asked, laughing. The laugh was creepy and high pitched, making Mido sound maniacal.

Link kept a hold of the sword even as Mido drew out one that was obsidian in color, black smoke coming off of it even as he lifted it. The gold cat stared it and then he asked, "Mido, what has happened to you?!"

"Nothing, unless you count the fact that a shadow has inhabited my body to give me great strength," he told Link, grinning as he got into a battle pose. Link got into one as well, ready to take out this strange new Mido if he had to. The black fox rushed him and jabbed the sword at Link's genitals, hoping to hack them off. It was a bad place to aim, for Link easily moved and swung at Mido's wrist, hoping to lop it off. Mido moved with insane speeds, more than Link had ever seen, and swung now at Link's throat. Link had to lean very far back to avoid it and then he jerked his blade forward and managed to catch the recoiling Mido across his chest, drawing black blood.

Mido let out a hiss and he said, "Good shot, Link...good shot! Especially for someone who hasn't used a sword before!"

A frown came across Link's face. "What..." he asked, looking at Mido. The black fox held the small cut across his chest and then he grinned before he charged Link and took another swipe at him. Link backed off and felt the tip barely brush past him, cutting loose some fur. Link took a horizontal swipe at Mido's gut, but again the fox was too fast. He looked at the Shadow Mido, wondering what to think of this new foe.

And, why had no one woken up thus far? Surely this fighting would have attracted some attention. Especially the girls...perhaps this was just a nightmare that he was having? If it was, it felt very, very real, real to the point that it was quite scary. This time, it made an effort and went for his chest again. Link parried the blade and slid his along Mido's to cut his chest. The shadow fox moved to the side, just getting another skin cut along his chest.

Link watched him closely. He was not doing quite as well as Link, who had suffered no damage thus far except for some of his chest fur flying off. He figured that he had a chance at this. He looked at the Shadow Mido and he said, "Is death the only way to solve this?"

Mido nodded and he said, "Yes it is. Both to free the boy here and to save your life and those of your women!"

Link got ready again, this time he felt that the final advance was coming. As a lion will pounce upon its prey in a vicious attempt to capture it and take it as its meal, so Mido lunged forward with his sword, ready to plunge it into Link. But Link held his sword out in front of him, letting Mido come to his doom. Then, he leaped forward and moved before Mido could think, and his sword sank into the shadow fox's heart.

It came out the other side, the briefly beating organ stuck upon it before it stopped. Then, it slid off of the blade as Link pulled it back through, watching Mido fall back. He was in complete shock for the brief moments that he had left to live and then...the shadow fell away and Mido collapsed on the ground, perfectly fine. Then, the dream passed and he woke with a start. It was still the middle of the night, both girls were around him. He looked around and then he laid back, gulping. "That....that was one hell of a freakish nightmare." He took a deep breath and let it out again before he just fell back to sleep, trying to forget what had happened. He felt the patch of fur that had been cut off...indeed, it was missing.

"Was that not a dream, though?" he asked before wondering if he had been in the dream world and had been in real danger of death even in there. Ignoring it again, he fell asleep with his two lovely, sexy girls again.

Yeah...just a bit. XD Hope on one minds.
