A wolf was walking down a corridor with darkness pervading in between the irregularly placed lights. The wolf cared little for how dark the corridor seemed to be, but what he did care for was what was inside a room at the very end of this corridor. The scent of alcohol, drugs, and sex was a stench itself and nothing seemed to break it's stranglehold on the atmosphere. This only made the wolf walk faster with more vigor and resolve to find the source of the stench and eradicate it permanently. Some length along the corridor, a small group of thugs that consisted of two raccoons and three foxes. Each armed with a bat or machete. The wolf stopped to get a better look at his opponents and noticed that one was a female. The thought that they had the guts to confront him only made him chuckle and laugh loudly enough for the thugs to hear. Two of the thugs exchanged nervous glances but otherwise stayed where they were.

The wolf smirked and asked chillingly, "Y'all not afraid of the dark, are ya?" Afterwards the lights down the corridor behind the wolf began to shut off one by one. The lights continued to do this until the entire corridor was as dark as night. The thugs, now in utter darkness, began to quickly become terrified and hesitant to move even an inch from where they were. Then, out of the dark void of darkness came the echoing voice of the wolf, "I'm over here." One of the thugs twirled around to the source of where the voice came from, but the thug was confused as to how he was able to get behind them. The wolf smirked in the darkness and stepped up behind the thug's back and whispered in his ear, "Like this." in an answer to the thug's thought. A mere second after whispering, the wolf struck his hand into the thugs back and grabbed hold of the heart only to rip it out. The thug let out a small groan of pain before falling to the ground, slowly fading away from life. Meanwhile, the other thugs hearing nothing but the faint whisper and the sudden thud of their friend hitting the floor only made them even more terrified of the wolf.

The sudden laughter of the wolf made all of the thugs jump and try to look around in the darkness to find him. The laugh seemed to echo as if across a long distance and a light flickered to reveal the wolf for a slight second. None of the thugs noticed this until after the sudden flood of light was gone. The female of the group began to try to back away as if to leave her comrades behind to face the wolf alone. She backed into the wolf himself and before she could do anything, she was hit behind the neck at a pressure point that knocked her fully unconscious. "Such a waste of such great potential." the wolf spoke aloud before continuing to smash the skulls of two of the other thugs into each other, killing them instantly.

The remaining thug stood quivering waiting for something to happen and closed his eyes to block out the thick silence and blackness of the corridor. When he opened them, he found the wolf standing in front of him with the heart of one of the thugs outstretched from him. The wolf now smiling coldly stated, "If you had life handed to you, would you still do this shit?" The thug gulped and replied, "No." he then cringed expecting it to the wrong answer. The wolf chuckled and stepped aside while swinging his arm in a courteous fashion, "Then, leave. At once." The thug didn't think twice and ran down the hallway, only to meet a bullet in the lung. The thug stood stunned from what just happened and looked down to feel at the blood coming from his chest. He looked up and saw the lady tenant he had raped two weeks prior with the smoking barrel of a Colt forty-five. Then the blackness of death enveloped him.

The lady that had shot the bastard that raped her looked up to the wolf and the wolf winked, using his cowboy hat as a way to say goodbye, tipped it in a final farewell while continuing down the now lit corridor.
