Part two of the Dragon war of Alagaesia
James and Galactic rest in the Hidden waterfall cave. James was sound sleep as he sleeps for both of them. Galactic was lying on the cold floor and use his wings to keep his rider warm. He ate some dry meat from James bag as he keep an eye on the rock. He yawns slowly and fall sleep as he join in his rider dreams. Both of them think the same thing as they dream. The ones at was trying to find them will not give up on looking. They will wait for the nighttime to roll again before they move out. In the Dream, take place many years go.
James was entering his 18 birthday as he was hunting a Deer in the woods. James kills his second deer in his life and the storm was rolling in. He takes cover in a cave 40 feet away. He was drying himself off as he saw something in the far back of this small cave. When he came closer, there was a yellow gemstone. Slowly he picks it up and he heard something making sounds in the stone. Before he can move it open up and a dragon look at him with it eyes. Then the sounds of the storm block his yelling, as his body was attack with cold magic light. Then he drops the baby dragon and his right hand glow with power as a rider mark was burn onto the skin. He fall to one leg and sake his head as something enter his head. He Feel like something was downloading his brain to something else.
Then the Baby dragon jumps into his arm and give him a hug. The Dragon feeling at James got was Love. However, The Dream became a nightmare as he was taking by force. He sees the face of Eragon smile, as he was force to bow to the evil king. Then he was somewhere else as his rider sword was in his hand battling Eragon. The Gold and Blue dragon was battle in the sky and the other 3-rider wait for the outcome of the battle.
He yell at Eragon face on the burn land" Eragon I will not join the Evil king and I will die as a free man! If I am going down, I am taken You down with me." Then he woke of from the dream and he turn to face Galactic. They know this is not over by a long shot.
Murtagh watched his fiancé carefully, before letting out a sigh, moving to sit next to her, wrapping an arm around her waist. He could understand how she was feeling, but he also knew that she did not want to fail their king. Night was starting to fall, and they had remained awake this time. Nevertheless, Murtagh was not too sure that they would succeed without help now. Reaching a hand out, Murtagh cupped Seraphine's chin, before turning her to face him. "Are you sure you want to continue hunting him. We both know if you fail, what the consequences will be." Murtagh however, already knew his fiancé's answer.
Seraphine let out a sigh, closing her eyes as she leaned back against the tree. Internally, she really was not sure she could continue, but she also knew that there were things that she would have to do, and at the moment, she didn't want to fail in what the king had trusted her to do. Seraphine did not even flinch when Murtagh wrapped an arm around her. She trusted her fiancé, just as long as that trust did not get either one of them killed that was a definite. Seraphine opened her eyes when Murtagh cupped her chin in his hand. She barely met his gaze, but her smile disappeared when she heard what he said. Then she spoke. "I know what I'm doing Murtagh."
That was all that she said. Seireadin watched her rider carefully, being telepathically linked, she could tell that her rider was anything but sure, but she could also understand what she was feeling. Seireadin could understand thither rider did not want to fail, but telepathically, she spoke to her. She already knew her rider's answer. Thorn on the other hand did not understand what fear Seraphine had from the king, but he knew that his rider did, and did not bother asking. They all looked up at the sound of another dragon landing. The sound of a dragon flying, or at least the wings could clearly be heard. Eragon had taken off from the king's palace at his request when Seraphine and Murtagh had failed to return; soon he spotted them in a forest, and realized that something had indeed come up. A bit of a distance from the two of them, he directed Saphira to land, before jumping off her back. Eragon then turned, and walked up to Murtagh and Seraphine.
He did not bother saying hello to either of the dragons, Saphira was territorial at the least, and instead he moved to kneel now next to the two of other riders, his brother, and future sister-in-law. "What Happened? The king sent me after you both, when you failed to return."Eragon however, could clearly see the answer in the eyes of Seraphine, they had been after another rider, and were still searching for him. Eragon let out a sigh, before he spoke again. "There's another rider, isn't there?" Eragon arched an eyebrow. He had been the part of the Varden, their hope, their only way of defeating the evil king, but when he had met Cerridwen things changed. He turned, he became the king's dragon rider, and the Varden fell, and Eragon was not regretting the decision at all.
James looks at Galactic As he speaks in the mind link" Those Dragons are Traitors I say! And Egg breaker, Oath breaker, murderer to our freedom!" Then He Show his teeth and said "Saphira our last hope and then she as doom us all!" James walks around and sighs slowly as he Replies to his dragon." What are we going to do? There two Dragons out there somewhere waiting for us to come out of hiding. If Eragon is out there, we are in hot water." Then He lower his head as the Future look bad as Galactic replies" James I will follow your order to the end. If We die today or next week, we have done our best." The Two wait in there hiding spot as the path of destiny come closer to them. Meanwhile Seraphine sighed, as she leaned into her fiancé, closing her eyes carefully, she may not trust Eragon, but she trusted Murtagh with her Life, and just as she was about to fall asleep, she heard Eragon. Opening her eyes, Seraphine sat up, making eye contact with Eragon himself, she heard his question, but then she noticed that he had realized that her answer was in her gaze. Then she replied. "Yes, there is another Dragon rider, but, I won't head back without finding him."
Murtagh sighed; smiling softly when Seraphine leaned into him, but that was short lived when Saphira and his brother landed. Despite the fact that Murtagh wanted to glare at Eragon, he held back. The man was his brother, and when it came to Murtagh and Seraphine he had no doubt that Eragon was loyal to both of them, more than he was loyal to the king, probably. He smirked softly at his fiancé's reply to what his brother said, but he turned to his brother, already knowing the answer. "Your staying isn't you." Eragon watched Seraphine carefully, a small smirk crossing his features when she made eye contact with him. At her answer, and nodded, his features softening slightly, he could understand her predicament. As the king's best rider, she was expected to do her job, and she was definitely doing it, even with her fiancé there. Eragon turned when his brother spoke, making eye contact with Murtagh, he replied. "I'm staying period. I may trust you, but I trust Seraphine, more. And if she is going to succeed, she's going to need both of us." That was all that Eragon said, for he knew that his brother would Admit that he was right.
James and Galactic push the Rock side and slowly walk out as theNight welcome them again. Galactic Help James to get onto the back slowly. When they were ready, they move out. The two walk in the forest slowly as they keep an eye out for Enemy riders.James looks at the map and if they make a run to Ceunon and then follow the river north. He thinks again as he scan the map slowly as at idea will take to long. He Know he one mile from Kirtan so the idea is to go north to a place called Ellesmera. James and Galactic read minds to each other. They Nod as the Dragon took off in the forest to Ellesmera. 20 min past as no sign of anyone following them. They run in the dark forest as they fall into a hole as the darkness eat them whole.
Then an Elf came out of the woods as his smile to himself. When Galactic and James woke up in a bed of cut green grass the elf said" sorry rider" Then he came out of the shadow and he was a hunter. The Elf bow to the elf and said" Welcome to my hidden home and I saw everything as you ran from the evil riders. But clam down as you are safe from the sky and ground hunt." Galactic and James clam down as the words fill them with hope. Then the elf picks up metal box of meat and lays them on the floor by them. The Elf said" My Home is one mile under the Forest floor. And took 100 year to make it hard to find by a team of elf friends." Then James reply slowly" How do I know if your not working for the Evil king?" Then the Elf smile and said in ancient language" I am a Friend of you and I will help you"
