They are jungle dwellers whom have developed a secret civilization of their own, were no one knows of them. That is very intelligent, and has made many of their own technology. From that intelligent they have made many usefully things you would think of to have been made in the future. They have also created powerful weapons, powerful enough to destroy a whole planet. However, they never use these weapons, they are actually quite peaceful, the only reason they made those weapons were to use as threats against any whom try to challenge them. Yet because of these so powerful weapons is why many of them are dead. You see, many had expert spies (they had to be REALLY good to get through xritimoz protections) steel these weapons and then use them to get the xritmo to make more for them, and because the xritimos were to peaceful of a species they knew they wouldn't fight back. Later, because of all these problems, the species became endangered and was forced to learn how to fight. They became skilled warriors now using their fierce weaponry against their foes. Yet if you were to confront them and show no sign of harm they might just let you go, but I would take much work to gain their trust.
