First off, I do not own any chars of the Digimon series or nicknames that involved in the stories. However, I do own Al or Amelia, maybe. I apologized first hand if there are spelling and/or grammar errors because my English is my second. Any introduction will be similar as the previous. Anything else, please enjoy.

Chapter 51: Battle For Honor, Mission Success?

In the middle of the Amazon forest, several people and Digimons were lost finding their way to a certain location. "Urgh... this is getting us nowhere. We are lost." Mimi grunted about the terrain.

"Not quite. According to this scanner, we are on the right track." Izzy replied while looking at the portable monitor. The monitor is viewing the Amazon map with two flashing dots at fixated location. "It is just a little further ahead."

"You've said that half hour ago and my feet start to hurt." Mimi groaned.

"It's your fault to wear high heel for this kind of terrain, Mimi." Lillymon sighed while flying close to her.

"I know that, but I want to look pretty."

Tai, Matt Joe and Izzy let out a long boring sigh. "That's our old Mimi, alright." Zudomon followed, which makes everyone smirk a bit.

"But it is weird," Hawkmon pointed. "If this is the way to their village, why there isn't any path?"

"The Renamons or any similar races prefers hidden from any Digimons." Sakuyamon answered. "At least we used to."

"That explained the hard terrain." Zero grunted. "I can't maneuver my way around this forest without hitting a tree or two."

"Knocking it down to be precise," GreenGuilmonX restated his statement. That makes everyone laughed.

"I've heard stories from rumors. I heard your friend stories to compare the rumors, and I am mostly fascinated about you." A voice came from their ear piece. Everybody went halt and try to listen.

"Well, thank y... Silence! You are still our prisoner. You may speak when she ask to." Two voices followed up next and one of it is very familiar. "It's Al!" ShadowWolf responded. "He intentionally turned on the comm."

"You were once a human and become a Digimon because of the Plague. You also have the power of the Plague and you use it for good. The human said that you can actually see the Plague itself. And you have the power to transfer the Plague to others. And Emerald, who now is Amelia, is one of the one who got transferred. May I ask your reason?" The same voice talked about Al's doing.

"Emerald...?" Stingmon asked.

"She has a beautiful name and never told about it?" ExVeemon smirked.

"Perv." All the girls responded.

"I did it because she was dying. I won't deny that I put part of the Glitch to support her life, but she was dying from the fall and I won't let that happened."

"Nevertheless, she is infected. You've made my only daughter get infected, you filthy hybrid." A male voice could be heard and he was angry.

"That isn't sound good." Antylamon responded.

"We have to hurry." Juri's partner Apollomon demanded. The Digimons grabbed each partners and dashed forward through the woods.

"I was impressed at you at the first time, but I've never thought you would do such a cruel thing." A new female voice grunted at Al."

"And with it, we brand you as a threat to all Digimons. And as our law stated, we will eliminate any kinds of threat." The first voice stated. "I will personally execute him." Everybody rushed toward the hidden village. In the monitor that Izzy held, the gap between dots grew thin. "Any last words?" "We are out of time" Matt yelled.

"Please, have faith in me." Al pleaded. "I may have done wrong to her, but I did it to save everyone. You may execute me afterwards, but saving the worlds is my top priority, and you can't stop me or my team."

"Ah... the Digi Destinies." The familiar male voice sounded smirked and taunting. "Good luck on finding this place."

"We are close by." Izzy reported.

"And right on cue," Tai leapt down from WarGreymon. "Charged forward with Terra Force." Black and WarGreymon nodded and jumped high above the forest. Both of them conjured an energy orb. By that time they heard a faint sound coming from their comm. "There's an attack!" Black and WarGreymon focused their energy and the orb grew bigger. They quickly threw the orb once it was as big as a house. The orbs flew towards the area where the dot is flashing. After the orbs touched to the ground, it causes a huge explosion. "An attack, who could have found this place," said the voice.

The Destinies dashed forward to the site and saw a large gap at certain wall or fence. It turns out it was the gate and it was destroyed. "My guess is my friends." Al simply answered. The Digimons charged inside and ready to battle.

The elder looked at the gate, covered with smokes and within it several shadows appeared. The elder looked back again at Al who gave her a grin smile. With desperate rage, the elder raised her staff and ready to deliver the final blow again. Al spontaneously inhaled as much air as he could. His maw starts bursting some flame and spit it out to the ground. The elder realized it and shielded herself from the intense heat. Within the smoke, two figures burst out towards Al. Any Renamons or Kyubimons that were on its path were either got bash or knock out.

The elder saw it and quickly leap back to her throne. The two figures stopped right in front of Al. Al smiled to see two Gallantmons with shield ready in their left hand. Al clasped his claw and smiled at them. "My shining heroes, thou have saved me from Reaper's grasp." He said with a high girly voice.

"Save the drama queen till we get home, Romeo." GreenGuilmonX replied while looking at Al.

"Sure thing, P-Crasher." Al smirked at him.

"Are you okay?" Gallantmon asked while his eyes still gazing at Sakuyamon.

"All patched up, at least. But I'll manage." Al answered. He slowly stood up with grunts and groans. "Please do not harm the villagers." Some Destinies were looking at Al with a shock. "They were just afraid of whom I am and I want to prove them wrong. Destinies, defensive mode." All of them nodded whether they like it or not as they readied their defensive stance.

Black and WarGreymon leap toward Al to increase the defensive around him. Angewomon flew towards him and starts healing him with Celestial Light. Al thanked her for healing him then he looked at the rest of the team at the gate, defending any attacks from Renamons or Kyubimons. "ShadowWolf, Zero, MetalGarurumon, the hostages." Al yelled while pointing at the prison. ShadowWolf, in MachGaogamon form, ignited his jetpack and dashed toward the prison. Zero evolved into MetalSeadramon and followed ShadowWolf and MetalGarurumon. "Zudomon, Orphanimon, assist them." By the time Zudomon and Seraphimon followed, several Renamons intends to chase down the rescuers. "Gallantmon, assist them as well." Al ordered. Gallantmon looked at him with hesitate expression. "Go, I'll be fine with them."

Gallantmon nodded and dashed toward the chaser. He jumped and aimed his lance at the chasers. He charged up some energy and aimed directly at the front of the chasers. With a good precision, the Lightning Joust scorched the ground, warning the chasers to back off.

The Renamons that chase after ShadowWolf, Zero and MetalGarurumon were surprised there is a blast shot right in front of them. They stopped what they doing and defend themselves. After the blast stop, Gallantmon landed right in front of them. Zudomon and Orphanimon moved toward Gallantmon and guard the rescuers. "We suggest that you behave." Gallantmon growled at them.

ShadowWolf, Zero and MetalGarurumon arrived at the prison rock. They start looking around hoping to find Yolei and Amelia, but they found nothing. "They weren't here." ShadowWolf called.

"What?" Al protested. "I thought they were there. Where are..." Al realized and slowly looked at Sakuyamon the elder. She somehow knew that they will be rescued. 'Which mean...?'

MetalGarurumon found an unfamiliar scent around them. He looked around and saw that ShadowWolf got the scent as well. Both their eyes pointed at above and saw four figures falling towards them. "Incoming!" ShadowWolf howled to warn Zero. Zero looked at them and looked at where they look. They quickly sprint away before the figures landed.

The first one landed with a huge and loud booming bash. The other three landed swiftly next to the first one. The smoke debris blinded the team but they didn't let their guard down. When the debris faded, they saw four familiar faces. It was the captain's team. The brute was the one that gave them an ambush attack. He slowly stood and flexing his neck and arms. The pale Renamon gave a cold glare at them and the twin BlackRenamon snickered evilly.

Al heard a loud bang coming from the prison rock. He looked at it and surprised to see the kidnappers were there, preparing to fight. Al gave a deadly glare at the Sakuyamon elder. "Where are they?" Al yelled at her.

"They are safe for now. But I won't tell you where." The elder simply answered.

Al growled at her. "Let them go or I will force you to."

"Fine by me, it is your death we are after." She replied preparing to fight.

Al is slowly flexing his body, telling him that he is healed mostly and ready to battle. Al thanked Angewomon for healing him and the team to cover him. Al gathered up some energy and draws an evolution card from the deck. He set it on the slot and slaps it. His body is covered with ribbons of data and formed a cocoon. Seconds later the cocoon shattered and stood Al in WarGreymon form. All of Renamons, Kyubimons and Taomons were surprised to see him evolved. 'So the gauntlet isn't just for show.' The elder thought. "You will tell me where they are." Al growled within his helmet.

"Then you and your friends will die." The elder replied and dashed forward him, despite the guard he have around him.

GreenGuilmonX, Black and WarGreymon tighten their defense, but Al shoved them back. Black and WarGreymon saw the determine eyes in Al. GreenGuilmonX wanted to stop him but Black stop him first. GreenGuilmonX looked at him. "Let go!" He screamed.

"You can't." Black responded. "He wanted to fight her alone. It's a one on one fight."

Sakuyamon readied her staff as Al readied his claw. Both weapons clash with a high pitch ring, drawing attention from the whole village. Al and the elder are using their strength to see which is the strongest. Both of them were equally match and quickly separate. The elder use her staff to smash him at his side. Al saw it and used his claw to block it. Al used a left kick on the head and the elder duck. The elder uppercut with her staff and Al dodge back by somersault. The staff keeps on swinging till it reached at the other end of the staff. The elder used it to stab him. Al didn't see it but after somersault, he jumped back to gain some distance. He was surprise to see the base staff was jab on the ground. He spontaneously looked at her and saw that she is about to jump kick.

Al slightly dodged to the right and her heel boot scratch his left side helmet. Al got stunned a bit but forced his body to keep moving. Accidentally, his horn helmet got hook with her breast plate and got pulled down with a force. It is a slight fortunate for the elder. She performed a swipe kick with her boot sparks bright. The kick was a direct hit on Al's head. The hit was so hard that he got ring in his ears and his helmet was off.

The Elder quickly perform a lock neck to choked Al. Al was surprised when someone choked him. Al is struggling a bit by removing one hand, but she quickly avoided it and locked it again. He quickly spins himself like a tornado. It took a second for the elder released her grip and got toss to one of the hut. Al is coughing for some air and the elder felt dizzy from the spin attack. Al quickly dashed forward to the elder with his claw ready.

The elder still feel dizzy from the spin but she knows that Al is charging forward. She has to move quickly to dodge the attack, when suddenly she heard a cry nearby. She looked around and saw a yellow fur underneath the hut. It is a Viximon trapped in the debris. Al was approaching so fast that he is ready to give her a dead stab. Behind the mask, the elder closed her eyes for the stab. Al went halt with blades almost an inch from her head. He also heard a cry and it is close.

The elder slowly open her eyes to see the blades were an inch to her face. She slowly looked at Al's face and saw a rage, sad and fear expressions. She gasped a bit feeling her death pass away.

"Please surrender." Al grunted within his teeth. "I don't want to hurt you or any other Digimons that live here. Just tell me where they are, please."

"She don't have to." A yell is coming from a far. Al looked around to see who said that. He looked up a bit just to see a dark Renamon holding Yolei on the neck as his hostage. Al recognized him as the captain of the assassin, Dusk. Al wanted to charges forward but the captain saw it as he tightened the choke. "Don't even think about it, Hybrid."

The elder also looked at the captain. "Captain Dusk, release her immediately." The elder yelled.

"Oh, I think not, elder." The captain replied. "Finish him now. This is your chance." The elder looked at Al and Al looked at her. He quickly prepared to fight again. "What did I tell you?" The captain yelled as he tightens his choke. Al gave a deadly glared at the captain. He slowly lowered his stance in defeat.

The elder slowly stood up and looked at the hopeless Al. 'His action speaks louder than words.' She thought. 'He really uses his power for good even if others disagree. What's more, he thinks of others than him.' She looked at the captain with disrespect. "You let her go this instance. I have been defeated fair and square." The elder announced.

The captain did not believe what the elder said. "No, you can still finish him off. You aren't losing yet, elder." The captain tried to talk her some sense that she can still finish him while there is a hostage.

"Do you dare to defy my words?" The elder asked him in anger. "Now release her or suffer the consequence."

The captain hesitated. 'It is for the future or the punishment.' The captain thought. "Screw you, elder." The captain cursed her. "You are weak. You'll regret to let the abomination lives. I will kill them all!" He tightened the choke to rip Yolei's throat apart. Everyone gasped as he is going to kill Yolei in a second and nobody near them. The next second a ripping sound was heard.

Time felt slow after they heard a ripping flesh. Everyone looked at her in horror that Yolei was killed right in front of them. In fact, she isn't. Yolei gasped for air as the choke loosened. The captain gasped hard with wide eyes. He grunted in pain with blood slowly flow out from his side mouth. The captain slowly looked at his back just to see another Renamon behind him with paws tainted with blood. "Curse... you...general..." He cursed.

The general make a small hump at him. "I never like your gut, anyway." He simply said.

After that, time went back to normal and the captain dispersed into millions of data. Yolei kneeled down in weak and everyone gasped in surprise about the outcome. The general walked slowly and gave a paw to Yolei. Yolei looked back at the general in suspicion. "I'm sorry. I should have listen to my daughter more often." He replied, understanding her reaction. "It is okay. Like the elder said, it's over."

Yolei hesitates for a moment, thinking this is some sort of trick to kill her. When she looked at the general's eyes, she somehow felt that he is telling the truth. She slowly took his paw and he helped her stand up. With it, the villagers and the Destinies cheered for the battle is over and the threat is gone.

Al was shock still disbelief for the outcome. The elder gave her hand to Al and Al looked at her curiously. "I have misjudged you. You are true to your words. And for that, I apologized." She said with a smile.

"But it wasn't a fair battle and you know it." Al replied.

"I know. But you stop when you knew something is wrong, and you consider other safety than your own. You are a noble warrior and you deserve it." She explained.

Al hesitated at first but he knew it is safe. Al accepts her hand and shake. "Thank you."

"Besides, I'm sure she agrees with me." The elder looked at his behind to see a Renamon ran towards them.

Al looked behind him just to see a Renamon is running towards him and that Renamon is familiar. It was Amelia. Al welcomed her with open arms as Amelia jumped towards him. Both of them embrace with a warm hug. She was so happy that Al is still alive and the elder accept him, so happy that she cried. "I thought I was going to lose you." Amelia said within sobs.

"I'm glad that everyone is alive, especially you Amelia." Al answered.

The elder is truly happy to see everyone is happy, especially the two lovers in front of her. Suddenly, a black beam pierced down right to the elder's chest. The beam was so loud that everybody got the attention, including Al and Amelia. Everybody was shocked by the sudden attack and right at the elder. The beam disappeared and the elder slowly fall down with a slight static. When her body touched the ground, it shattered into millions of data.

Al looked up at the source of the attack just to see a hooded figure standing at the edge of the cliff. The Destinies looked at Al and then looked at the top of the cliff enough to see the hooded figure walked away slowly. Lillymon, Zero, Orphanimon, Stingmon and Angewomon fly towards the top of the cliff and find nothing, as if the hooded figure vanished. The Renamons were teleported to the top of the cliff to seek the culprit that killed the elder and return empty hands. Orphanimon report it to all of them.

The villagers were remorse by the death of their elder. The Destinies also felt remorse just when the situation gone better. 'Who would dare to do such cruel thing?' Al thought. "There is no sign of the hooded figure." Orphanimon reported. "He just vanished to thin air."

"Who would do such a thing?" Amelia asked within sobs.

"I don't know," Al answered. "But what I do know, I sense pure evil."
