Okay. I know it looks awful, but I fixed most of it now! Kind of.. =^.^=

My phone exploded with an aurora of color into my skull as I stared at its screen. My hands began to sweat as I fumbled with my phone's keyboard.

"Hey," I replied; I didn't know what else to say. How did he get my number? Why was he texting me? I began to pant with frustration. Time was meaningless, and I only existed wen the phone buzzed with a new message.

"Saw you with Jake today." The message ended iwht a period, was the significant? I knew he had een watching me, I saw his eyes burn green like the heart of the jungle.

"Yeah. He was upset because he thought I had ingored him," I attempted to justify my actions, but with mixed feelings. Was he angry with me? Why would he be? We've never spoken at all. The next text came almost instantaneously.

"You should have ignored him. Stay away from him. You have no idea who you're messing with." I read the message once. Twice I looked over the words. The third time I was met with a growing anger inside of me. He can't tell me what to do, he doesn't even know me! We've never talked! This is rediculous!

"Why?" I watched the ceiling until my phone buzzed again.

"Trust me, you're better off not knowing," He said. Ugh! This was infuriating! I was at a loss for words. How arrogant, how completely insane would you have to be to treat me like this? I'm too good for him. That's it. He's scared of me. I attempted to repeat those lines until I believed them, but envy green emeralds seemed to stalk my every thought.

"But... Why?" I was feeling more and more like the victim in some obscure soap opera each time he responded. And every denial of information riled me up.

"It's a long story, and I don't wanna text it all," he replied.

"Then I'll come over. Where do you live?" Truth be told, I already knew where he lived, I just didn't want to come across as the stalker I am. I climbed out the window, closing it behind me as I left in the night.

The night air against my fur was bracing at first, but after the initial shock I became numb with sivers. His house was down the street from mine; ten minutes away. I got to the front door and hesitated as I thought about knocking. One light was on upstairs, I assumed it was Tracy's.

"I'm here." I sent him a text and waited on the lawn. The grass was cold and wet, but it was better than being seen by someone who didn't need to see me. A window opened and a fire ladder was on the sill. Tracey's face appeared in the window.

"Psst!" He whispered. I stood and walked over to the window, but he didn't drop the ladder.

"What the hell?"

"What's the secret password?" He whispered. I groaned, and my phone vibrated in my pocket.

"The secret password is 'please'." The text read. I looked up at Tracey and laughed.

"Please?" The ladder dropped down and I climbed up into the window. Tracy was at the threshold pulling the ladder up after I had climbed in. I stood in his room, observing my surroundings. It was tiny; a twin sized bed was stuck in the corner, and a small white dresser was in the opposite corner. Somehow I had imagined his room so much more interesting, but I couldn't complain, my room was only a bed.

"So. Hey." He said. 'Hey?' He couldn't find anything else to say? Really?

"Hey." I wanted to slap myself.

"You shouldn't talk to Jake anymore." He was serious. His facial features froze into a concerned look.

"Why not?" I asked, a puzzled expression settled on my face. "He likes me, and I like him." Did I really feel the need to justify our relationship?

"We used to date."

Woah. Did not see that coming. I knew he was cute, but gay? No. This is too good. I froze in my seat, legs crossed and my tail still.

"Did he do something bad?" I wanted to know so bad.

"Yeah." A sudden spark of sadness illuminated his eyes; they were the color of a melancholy, longing desire. A sunset over a pasture of golden green wheat sprouting for the first time to meet the fresh air. The contours of his face formed the valleys and peaks from which every songbird would flock to just to watch the sun set. Maybe one day they might sing a song as beautiful as that scene. Overwhelmed by his beauty my hand came to rest on his, and all of a sudden I trust him into a hug.

His arms stayed at his sides and my heart was wretched out of place. A single crystal tear fell from his eye and I cleaned him up with my shirt. I checked the clock on his dressed and told him that I had to leave. This time, he hugged me. For a moment I was flying in the sky and taking a bath in a rainbow, then he let me go. I climbed out the window with wobbly knees. Just then, a car drove by. It was Kelsey.
