Chapter 01 The 3rd world united states. Oil begone.
In the 1970s the united states faced much econamic pressure under influence of the soviet union. They had lost the space race to the soviet union with the first man on the moon,Boris Grishenkov. The oil crisis spun out of control. Oilhad become scarce. People kept drilling but the soviets invested more and more into solar and wind power.Oil was still used in the USSR,the rich oil feilds of siberia were some of the last reserves of oil in the world. In the US people lost more and more jobs. Worker unions grew bigger and better and became more socialistic. New york the biggest city in the world was now home to homelessness,and famine.
Chapter 02 Gorbachav's reforms
In the USSR,life was going well. People were given more rights such as the freedom of speech,and press,religon etc. Communism was more fashionable. In the DDR,living conditions were much better than the west and people tried to the pass the berlin wall built by the US and West Germany.USSR was the worlds power house but communism was spreading.
Chapter 03 The revolution
In the west,their world began to collapse. Protests began,and in france,switzerland and other western european countries the communists seized power. Red banners flew from every house and in germany the Berlin wall was crushed by a barrage of soviet tanks and east german tanks. It was a scene to behold. The US clung to capitalistic ways and tried to crush the rebellions but mostly failed. But yet they suceded the capitalists kept the freedom loving workers down. On December 31 1989 a massive soviet invasion began. People cheerd as the liberation of the capitalists begun. The soldiers paraded on the west coast with the help of korean,chinese and soviet troops the west coast was liberated. By 1990 the united states became the united socialist states of america or the USSA.
Chapter 05 life under communism.
Not much is diffrent in this universe other than the world is under full communism. Everyone is equally wealthy and rich. We still have our modern conviences such as the internet,television video games etc. At schools the children pledge, I pledge alliegence to the flag of the united socialist states of america,and to the party of lenin for wich it stands one nation under our premeir indivisable with freedom and socialism for all.
Note to all,I'm working on making other alternate history stories in the future,I'm not going to continue a new life I might remake it to current standerds.
