"Dad, what are you doing here?" Aaron asked "I'm just picking up a few things,what are you doin here sport?" Randy asked not noticing Cody yet. "Umm, hanging out with my bo, friends." Aaron said. Cody looked at Aaron and stepped away from him a little. "Oh I don't think I've met you before." Randy said looking at Cody and putting out a paw. "It's nice to meet your sir." Cody said shaking his paw. Aaron just looked at Cody. "Oh forget it." Aaron said then he turned Cody around and kissed him. Cody was shocked but then just melted into the kiss and wagged his tail. Randy stood motionless at what his son had just done."What? Cody is my boy.. no my fiance." Aaron said. "What the hell! You mean to tell me my son is a damn tail raiser?!" Randy yelled starting to snarl. "More like a fucking tail raiser, but that is personal." Aaron said. "Shut the hell up! I bet you were just lured in by this mixed mutt wasn't you?" Randy growled and pointing at Cody. Cody flinched and folded his ears back.

"Don't talk about my kids that way." Someone said then Randy turned around to see a grey coyote. "Your kids? Who do you think you are?" Randy said growling. The lumbering wolf began to heave as a savage look grew in his eyes. "My son isn't going to be a fag! I'll take care of this at its source!" Randy's gaze averted to Cody as he charged at him, knocking Aaron out of the way and lifting Cody up by the scruff of his neck. Cody whimpered and clawed at Randy's arms, trying to get away. "You don't chose who I date or in the case get married to.Now put down my fiance before I make you regret ever waking up this morning." Aaron said clenching his fists. "Now I suggest you put him down." Eric said. Randy didn't listen and pulled one hand back showing his sharp claws, preparing them to strike. Cody layed his ear back and closed his eyes. Eric just gave Aaron a look to stand down then pulled out a tazer gun. "Sorry about this Cody it'll only hurt for a second." Eric said before shooting Randy in the back with it. Jolts of electricity surged up through Randy and into Cody who yelped out and fell to the ground when Randy released him. Aaron right ran to Cody and held him close. "Are you okay?" he asked after kissing Cody's head. Cody twitched a little and nodded, his fur standing on end. Randy had passed out and Eric was putting him in handcuffs. "Thank you." Aaron said. "Just doing my job, as your future dad I hate to make you leave your friends but as an officer you need to come with me." Eric said, then Aaron just shook his head.

"What's happening?" Cody asked still tensed and looking up to Aaron. "I just need to you to fill out some stuff." Eric said. "Oh, ok." Cody said. "Okay. Cody you'll sit up front with Eric." Aaron said. "Fine I need to call Alex." Cody said in a weak voice and reaching for his phone. "I'll just text Derek." Aaron said. "Ok." Cody said trying to get up. Aaron just picked Cody in his arms. "You don't have to move." Aaron said "I thought I said I could take care of myself." Cody said giving a weak smile and laying his head on Aaron's chest. "I'm pretty sure that was before we were engaged, so its now null and void." Aaron said smiling."You're too sweet wuff." Cody said holding to Aaron and nuzzling his chest. "Thanks. So Eric, do you and mom know the sex yet?" Aaron asked, then Randy's eyes got really wide. Eric just gave Aaron a look to be quiet as he drug the huge wolf to his car. "Right, to soon." Aaron said smiling. "Ok get in the car this won't take long." Eric said putting Randy in the back seat and getting in. Aaron place Cody in the front the buckled him and the in back with Randy. Cody put his tail in his lap and laid his head on the window. "I'm sorry." Randy said looking over at Aaron who just looked out the window. "It's recommended you don't talk." Eric said not looking away from the road as he drove."Okay." Randy said. Aaron had his arms crossed and kept looking out the window. Cody still had his head against the window not saying anything and starting to doze off. Aaron then got out his phone and texted Derek and let him know that him and Cody had left. Eric arrived at the police station and got out and pulled Randy out. "Ok we're here wake Cody up please." Eric said. Aaron the got out "Come on babe." Aaron said helping Cody of his seat. "What, why?" Cody said getting out lazily, wiping his eyes. "We're at the police station." Aaron said. "Oh yea thats right." Cody said dropping his ears and brushing down his fur.

"Yeah, you feeling any better?" Aaron asked "A little, that really hurt." Cody said leaning on Aaron. "At least you didn't get the full effect." Aaron said a bit loud. "Heh yea." Cody said smiling slightly. Aaron just put an arm around Cody and smiled.After that Cody kept quiet through the entire ordeal only nodding when Eric asked him questions. Back at the mall Derek read his messages and sighed as he put his phone back in his pocket. "Who was that babe?" Alex asked leaning on Derek "It was Aaron. Him and Cody had to go to the police station." Derek said putting an arm around Alex. "What happend?" Alex asked. "Aaron's dad saw him and Cody together and he attacked Cody." Derek said. "Oh my gosh is he okay?" Alex asked. "Yea Aaron said he was just a little shakin up." Derek said. "That's good." Alex said. "Yea we're gonna go to their house tomorrow and see them. But for now let's just go home." Derek said giving Alex a reassuring smile."Okay, babe." Alex said taking Derek's paw. "Okay, I gots you another present when we get back to my room." Derek said smiling and kissing Alex. "Really?" Alex asked after the kiss. "Mhm, Imma let you call the shots no questions asked this time." Derek said slightly hesitant but then smiling."I love you babe." Alex said hugging Derek. "Heh I love you too kitty." Derek said hugging back. Then Derek and Alex went to leave.

"You feeling better babe?" Aaron asked. "Huh? Yea I'm ok." Cody said snapping back to reality. "You sure?" Aaron asked. "Yea.." Cody said laying his ears back. "Okay babe." Aaron said. "Can we go home?" Cody asked pleadingly. "That's up to Eric." Aaron said. Cody then looked up at Eric with tears in his eyes. "We've got everything we need. Let's get you two home." Eric said walking towards the door. "Thanks." Aaron said getting up. Cody got up and followed them quietly.Aaron just wrapped an arm around Cody and laid his head on Cody's. Cody held onto Aaron and wrapped his tail around Aaron's waist. Aaron wrapped his tail around Cody then they got in Eric's car and went home. "Thanks Eric." Aaron said. "It was no problem guys. Just looking out for my kids." Eric said smiling. "Yeah, thanks dad." Aaron said then they drove off. "Thank you." Cody said in a slight whisper. They were quiet the rest of the way home. Eric pulled into the drive way and got out of the car. "Come on, I already told Alexis what happened." Eric said." Okay." Aaron said then he went over to Eric and hugged him. Then went to open Cody's door. Cody stepped out of the car and and started walking towards the house. Aaron just followed Cody.

"Hey we're back." Eric said calling out to Alexis.She then ran out and hugged Cody. "Are you okay, do you need anything?" she asked. Cody's ears perked up from being suprised. "I..I'm okay." Cody said then tightly returned the hug. "Okay, if you need anything, don't hesitate to make Aaron get it for you." Alexis said. Aaron just looked at her "And if he doesn't, I'll get the newspaper." she said then he Aaron folded his ears and looked down "No, It's fine. I just needed this." Cody said laying his ear back as he hugged Alexis. "Okay." she said sitting down still holding Cody, then Aaron went out side and Eric followed. "Where are you going Aaron?" Eric asked when they got outside. "Geez." Aaron said jumping. "Nothing." Aaron said then he got in his pocket and pulled out a cigarette then lit it. Eric took it from Aaron and threw it down. "When did this start?" Eric asked. "Damn, that was my last one. Its only when I'm stressed." Aaron said. "Yea you think you're stressed? Cody is in there curled up in your mothers lap and your out here, having a nice puff." Eric said stepping on the cigarette. "Yeah, ever since I got together with Cody, bad things keep happening to him. First his parents kick him out, my fault. Seth wants to kill him, my fault. Now Randy, again my fault. I can't do shit to stop it!" Aaron yelled "None of this is your fault and you shouldn't blame your self for any of it." Eric said trying to calm Aaron.ppp "How? His parents kicking him because they walked in on us. Seth wanted to hurt Cody because I rejected his sister. Now Randy, he's can't stand me so doesn't want me happy!" Aaron said hugging Eric then he started crying to Eric shoulder. "It may be true, you may be the cause but do you really think Cody thinks it's all your fault? Everytime that kid is near you his eyes gleam with pure joy and a love for you that could never change. He would never blame you for any of this." Eric said holding Aaron and petting the back of his head. "I know, why him and not me? All he does is try to make every one else happy. Why can't he catch a break." Aaron said

"Some furs just have a tendency to attract trouble. Ever wonder why he never talks about where he came from?" Eric said."Yes, but I don't want to bring up any bad memories for him." Aaron said. "Well just know that it's not your fault, and never forget how much he loves you." Eric said hugging Aaron one more time. "You're right. Thank you, you've done more for me in the past few days than Randy has done. You want to know what that one thing is?" Aaron asked. "Hmm what's that?" Eric asked. "He made me with my mom." Aaron said."Heh alright pup. Now come one and let's go back inside." Eric said smiling and putting a paw on Aaron's shoulder. "Yeah. Alright lets go." Aaron said putting an arm around Eric. Eric lead Aaron back into the living room where Cody was curled in Alexis' lap. Alxis just smiled at the two as she pet over Cody's head. Aaron then sat next them "You need anything?" Aaron asked. Cody sat up and latched onto Aaron hugging him tight. "Nope." Cody said nuzzling Aaron. "Okay, if you need anything, please let me know." Aaron said wrapping an arm around Cody then he kisses his head. "Ok wuff but I just want you right now." Cody said, his tail wagging for the first time since the left the mall. Eric just looked at Aaron and smiled. "Okay babe." Aaron said rubbing Cody shoulder. "You're so cute." Alexis said. Cody looked back at Alexis and blushed then went back to rubbing his head on Aaron's chest. Aaron smiled and started petting Cody's head. Eric sat down beside Alexis and put an arm around her.

"Crap, my car is at Eric's house." Aaron said out of nowhere. "Oh yea I forgot about that." Cody said. "Yeah, I didn't think of that." Aaron said.: "I'll take you over there tomorrow and get it." Eric said. "Okay thanks Eric." Aaron said then they heard a noise and then Aaron just smiled and blushed. "What was that?" Cody asked as his ears perked up. "My stomach, I haven't eaten since this morning." Aaron said "Oh yea neither have I." Cody said. "What do you want? I'm making." Aaron said "Hmm pizza!" Cody said wagging his tail. "I'm not that good yet. Is frozen pizza good enough for my prince?" Aaron asked standing up. "Has he ever been picky about food?" Alexis asked laughing. "That's true." Aaron said laughing. "Hey, there's some stuff that I won't eat." Cody said. "Like what?" Alexis and Aaron asked at then same time. "Uhh.." Cody sat thinking for a sec. Every one just smiled, "Aaron, while you're in the kitchen, get me the pickles." Alexis said "And it's started." Aaron said going to the kitchen. "Eww pickles." Cody said setting up on the couch and sticking out his tongue."He's just saying that." Aaron said coming back out and handing the pickles to Alexis "Thank you." she said. "No pickles are really nasty." Cody said."Okay. That's one thing." Aaron said. "Hah anything else you won't eat?" Eric asked laughing. "I don't think so." Aaron said sitting next Cody. "Well least I'm not picky like wolfy here." Cody said rubbing Aaron's chest.

"What does that mean?" Aaron asked acting hurt. "Oh its true puppy." Alexis said. "He's really picky isn't he?" Cody asked Alexis. "MHM, like I couldn't ever get him to eat eggs." Alexis said making Aaron blush. "Yea and I love eggs." Cody said. "That's prolly cause you're part fox." Eric said laughing. "I hate them, they're to complicated, so many damn ways to cook them." Aaron said. "Wuff that makes absolutely no since." Cody said tilting his head at Aaron. "I'm a future chef, I hate cooking eggs." Aaron said. "Whatever you say." Cody said giggling. "Otay." Aaron said then he laid his head on Cody's shoulder "Hey Aaron I think your pizza is burning." Eric said. "Shit." Aaron said getting up then he ran to the kitchen "NO!" "Drama queen." Alexis said. "Some future chef." Cody said laughing. "It was a frozen pizza." Alexis said as Aaron came back from the kitchen with his head down. "Did you bring me a slice?" Cody asked looking at Aaron. "Its all burnt." Aaron said. Cody got up and went to the kitchen and came back with a plate of burnt pizza already finishing one slice. "Not bad." Cody said with a mouthful. "I guess that means anything." Aaron said. "What food is food." Cody said eating another piece. "You want some?" Cody asked Alexis and Eric. "Nope I'm good." Eric said. "I got pickles." Alexis said. "Ew." Was all Cody said as he sat on the couch and ate his pizza. "Like you can say anything." Alexis said. "What?" Cody asked innocently. "You're eating burnt pizza." Aaron said "Well I'm hungry and it's bad to waste food." Cody said.

"Eric, want to go get some real food?" Aaron asked. "Doesn't matter to me pup." Eric said. "The men are going out, we'll back soon." Aaron said standing up. "Oh. Well ok wuff. Bye." Cody said. "You can come too." Aaron said. "I mean if you and Eric just want to go I'll stay here." Cody said in low voice. "Double date?" Aaron asked Eric. "Sure come on." Eric said talking Alexis paw. Alexis stood up and hugged Eric "Come on." Aaron said going over to Cody "Yay!" Cody said jumping into Aaron's arms and kissing him. Aaron returned the kiss "Lets go." he said. "Alright come on." Eric said wrapping an arm around Alexis and walking out the door. Then Aaron got a text then he hugged Cody. "Who was that wuff?" Cody asked returning the hug. "Derek, he told me to give you a hug from him and Alex." Aaron said. "That was cute." Cody said smiling. He then got out his phone and txted Alex a thank you. "It was." Aaron as him and Cody got in the car. Cody sat beside Aaron and then gave him a light kiss on the cheek. "Derek told me to punch you for him, but I figure I would give a nicer gesture." Cody said smiling."Thank you and for what?" Aaron asked. "For making fun of his new leash." Cody said laughing. "Oh what ever." Aaron said."Hey wuff, you know where I wanna go tomorrow." Cody said cuddling up to Aaron in the back seat. "I wanna go back to the dance club." Cody said smiling. "Awesome, we can go when I get my car back." Aaron said. "Yay Imma get Derek and Alex to come too." Cody said excitedly. "Okay." Aaron said. Cody's tail wagged happily as he nuzzled Aaron's chest. "Alright we're here." Eric said parking the car. So they all got out and Cody was leaning against Aaron. Cody locked his tail with Aaron's and smiled as they walked in.Aaron then pulled out Cody's chair for him

"Always the gentleman." Cody said kissing Aaron then setting down."Only the best for you." Aaron said. "I still don't beleive you were as mean as Alexis and Cody say." Eric said pulling out a seat for Alexis then setting down. "Thank you." Alexis said. "Just ask my suspension record." Aaron said. "Aaron was mean until I made him change." Cody said smiling and leaning on Aaron. "That's true." Aaron said. "Cody was also there when I quite drinking." Alexis said. "Yeah." Aaron said. "I have'nt helped you guys that much have I?" Cody asked. "Yeah, you've helped us with alot." Aaron said "Heh good to know I'm helping and not just taking up space." Cody said smilling and blushing a little. "If you were taking up space it wouldn't be much." Aaron said. Eric and Alexis both laughed. "Thanks wuff." Cody said, starting to laugh too. "No probelm, but the only space you take up, is in my heart." Aaron said. "Awe wuff." Cody jumped over to Aaron and hugged him tight almost knocking him out of his chair. Aaron just smiled and hugged Cody. "That was cute puppy." Alexis said."It really was." Eric said amilling at Cody who was latched onto Aaron and wagging his tail happily. One couple gave Aaron and Cody a disusted look, Eric saw that and let his badge show and the furs walked on past. Cody sat back in his seat blushing. "Thanks." Aaron said to Eric. "No problem just lookin out for my furture kids." Eric said. "I got the law on my side for once." Aaron said "Bout time." Alexis said under her breath. "Sorry." Aaron said "Hey it's fine, you're a good puppy now so you're forgivin." Alexis said. "Okay." Aaron said

The four sat talking in the restraunt until there food arrived then after they had finished and paid they all walked back out to the car."Thanks for the food." Aaron said "Yea thank you." Cody said. "No problem." Eric said stepping into the car. "I say we go get ice cream then to the park." Alexis said. "Oh yea we was gonna take puppy here to the park wasn't we." Cody said smiling up at Aaron. "Oh yeah, I totaly forget. With all that's happend to day." Aaron said then he quickly texted Derek for him and Alex to meet them at the park. "Yup the fresh air should help me repress that event with the others." Cody said laughing. "It'll be good for us all." Aaron said. "Cody, sorry for shocking you earlier I had no choice." Eric said laying his ears back as he drove. "Oh no it's fine you saved me, although my fur still won't stop sticking up." Cody said giggling a little. "I think it looks cute." Aaron said. "I think it looks cute." Aaron said. "No problem babe." Aaron said. "It does look good." Alexis said. "Then I'll lkeep the look but I think I'll find a different way to make it do this." Cody said. "I'll help you with that." Alexis said. "Alright thanks." Cody said. "I'll help too." Eric said jokingly. "This is gonna be fabulous." Aaron said making Cody giggle.

After they all got ice cream they arrived at the park and all stepped out of the car. Aaron sat down in the and pulled Cody in to his lap. Cody snuggled in Aaron's lap and looked out over the pond as the moon reflected it's light over it. "Look babe, I found our favorite couple." Alex said. Cody's ears perked up as he looked around. "Alex!!" Cody said pouncing Alex and hugging him. Alex returned the hug. "Your fur looks great, what did you do to it?" Alex asked, then Aaron just laughed. "Oh you know I just had about a thousand volts run through it that's all." Cody said laughing. "Oh, I'm sorry." Alex said then he hugged Cody "Heh it's fine, I just don't want to be anywhere near a tazer gun ever again." Cody said hugging Alex back. "I don't blame you." Alex said. "I'll leave mine in the car." Eric said. "Me and Eric are going for a walk, stay out of trouble your four. Oh and Derek congrats Aaron just told me about you and Alex here." Alexis said. "Thank you." Alex said. "Yea thanks." Derek said blushing. "Oh, before they leave,this is Eric." Aaron said. "He saved me today." Cody said laughing. "Hello it's nice to meet you." Derek said shaking Eric's paw. "Nice to meet you to." Alex said then Eric and Alexis left. "He's kind-of cute." Alex said. "Please don't say that about my future dad." Aaron said. "Otter make your kitty stop thinking about our dad." Cody said. "Fine with me if he wants to fantisize about other men I just won't give him any tonight." Derek said crossing his arms. "Oh no, you said I could have whatever ever I want, no questions." Alex said. "So you want another guy?" Cody asked tilting his head. "No, I got my man. For my birthday I get what ever I want in the bed room." Alex said. "That's what I like to hear." Derek said hugging and kissing Alex. Cody went back over and sat in Aaron's lap."He's slowly giving himself up." Aaron whispered in Cody's ear. "Who Derek?" Cody asked. "Yep." Aaron said "What are you saying Aaron?" Derek asked making Cody giggle. "Nothing at all." Aaron said.

"Hey you guys wanna go swimming?" Cody asked looking towards the pond, "And get my fur.." was Alex said before "CANNON BALL!" Aaron yelled jumping in and geting Cody wet. Cody shook all over then stripped down and jumped in. Derek looked at Alex with a pleading look. "I hope you're ready to moan like a little slut later tonight." Alex said then he slowly got in. Derek didn't pay attention as he quickly dove in sending a wave over Alex."Now you're going to pay." Alex said "Oh yea and what are you going to do?" Derek said laughing and sticking out his tounge. Alex then swam over Derek. "We're going to make love." Alex said then he paused "To Lady Gaga." Alex said. Aaron started laughing. "Noo." Derek whined pleadingly."Oh yes." Alex said then he kissed Derek. Cody had silently swam up behind Aaron, his head only half out of the water, before he pounced up and wrapped his arms around Aaron. "I gots you!" Cody yelled."Geez." Aaron said "What?" Cody asked still holding Aaron. "You suprised me." Aaron said. "Faster slave." Alex said, then they looked over at Derek and Alex, and Alex was on Derek's back laughing. Derek swam faster then quickly dove under taking Alex down with him. Aaron just laughed when he saw that. "That was odd. But wuff did you jump in with all you clothes on?" Cody asked feeling Aaron's shirt still on. "No, its my tank top, I forgot I was wearing two shirts today." Aaron said "Oh alright." Cody said then slide off Aaron's tanktop and kissing him. "Don't do that again." Alex said after they came back up."Awe I sowy kitty." Derek said holding Alex.

Cody leaned into the kiss then pulled away slowly. "Hold your breath." Cody said to Aaron before pulling him under water. While under Cody wrapped his arms around Aaron as their lips met. "You just scared me." Alex said holding Derek close. "I'm sorry I didn't mean too." Derek said kissing Alex. "it's okay." Alex said. "Ok, um where did Cody and Aaron go?" Derek asked looking around.Then Aaron and Cody both came up from under the water. "Amazing." Aaron said. "I knew you would like that." Cody said smiling. "One more time." Aaron said then they went down again. Cody went under with Aaron against this time they sunk down to the bottom in each others embrace. Alex just looked at Derek then he ran his paws through his head fur.Derek looked back at alex and pulled him into a kiss. Alex returned the kiss. Then Aaron and Cody came out of the water gasping. "Heh you took all my air." Cody said panting. "You stole my line." Aaron said smiling. "I love you wuff." Cody said hugging Aaron. "I love you too babe." Aaron said "You need to get blonde highlights." Alex said to Derek after the kiss. "Anything for you kitty." Derek said nuzzling Alex. "Awesome." Alex said.

"Hey wuff, how long has it been since we yiffed." Cody whispered in Aaron's ear. "A few days." Aaron said "It's been way to long." Cody said smiling and pressing against Aaron's chest. "It has." Aaron said.Cody then pressed his nose against Aaron's and began rubbing his sheath."Let's wait till we get home." Aaron said "I know just figured I would start teasing you know." Cody said giggling and rubbing Aaron's sheath more. "You're doing great." Aaron said. "That's good." Cody said kissing Aaron. "You two about done?" Derek asked from behind."I'm not sure." Aaron said "Hmm." Cody gave Aaron's sheath one more rub and turned around."Yup." Cody said. "I'm good too." Aaron said, Alex just smiled.

Eric and Alexis just walked through the park paw intwined with Alexis leaning her head on Eric's shoulder. "This is fun." Alexis said. "Yea it's really nice." Eric said. "I'm so happy for Aaron." Alexis said "Yea he does seem really happy." Eric said. "I just hope his past doesn't come back to haunt him." she said. "So he used to be really bad?" "Yeah, there wasn't a day that went day that he wasn't causing trouble." "Hm he's seemed to really fixed up his attitude then." "Yeah, as you've learned Cody played a major part in that." Alexis said. "If I could get to stop smoking and drinking." she said. "Yea Cody's a really nice fur. I caught Aaron smoking and made him stop." Eric said. "Yeah, taking one smoke away won't stop him. I've done it before and I caught him afew days later. I just gave up and now I regret it, he's been at it for two years now." Alexis said. "I beleive Cody could have a hand in making him stop. Aaron told me that he hasn't let Cody catch him yet." "That's true, maybe we to make Cody see him smoking." "It's manipulative but it's helpful to Aaron." Eric said, "Yeah, now what about drinking?" Alexis asked "We can have a talk about it with him." "Won't do much, my parents tried while he lived with them." "We can try. He needs time right now he blames his self for everything that's been happening to Cody." "True on both of those, I also bet he blames him self for Randy leaving us after today." "He didn't seem to worried about that, he's beating him self up for Cody getting hurt, he doesn't realize that Cody has a history of bad luck." Eric said trailing off. "Yeah, and how do you know?" Alexis asked "I used to be cheif of police in the same city Cody lived in a few years back, It was before I was transfered here."Eric said.

"You're kidding." Alexis said. "No I'm not. Today wasn't the first time I've had to save him either." Eric said setting down on a near by bench and pulling Alexis close to him. "What happend?" Alexis asked. "He was kidnapped and takin hostage one day, the captures had him held up in a old building." Eric said thinking back. "That poor boy." Alexis said covering her mouth. "They didn't hurt him, it turned out they had mistaken him for a richer families cub and wanted a ransom. After we found out where they had him and raided they building.
